Hello everyone~! I am being a good noodle and updating really early! Yay! I was kinda sad that I didn't really get any reviews, but hey maybe the last chapter was too dramatic for you, which I can understand. Or maybe you didn't feel like it, which is cool too. Thanks for reading and not flaming.

Special thanks to the one person who did review though! You know who you are ;)

Enjoy~!

Saku let out a huge sigh as she left the exam room. That was one heart attack she didn't need to experience. She was so nervous! Hinata seemed really nervous during the test and she tried to help her. She thought that Hinata was doing fine until he saw her cut her finger and start writing with her blood. It was really brave of her, but she was hurting herself so she told her to stop. She did get really cheesy at the end of her speech, but then Hinata started crying! She had a huge panic attack and the examiners docked two points each. Saku flinched and directed her attention back to her test, but she felt so guilty for not helping Hinata.

And then there was something else to worry about. She didn't know whether she should try to ask the 10th question or not. She wanted to keep going on with the exams, but risking never becoming Chunnin if she failed to answer the question correctly seemed too much of a risk.

Luckily, she didn't have to choose because of her beloved blond teammate. She smiled at the thought. The knucklehead was really surprising her lately. She could definitely picture him leading Konoha in the future.

"ALRIGHT MAGGOTS!"

Oh right, the second part of the exam...

"All of you are going to participate in this thing called a Survival Challenge." Anko, their second proctor, said. She was munching on some dango while giving instructions, taking a bite out of it every other sentence. "You are going to go through one of these gates and into training ground 44." Chew. "The goal is to get your hands on these two scrolls." Bite. "A heaven scroll and an earth scroll." Munch. "Each team will get a scroll when they turn in their forms." Swallow.

"Then that means-!"

"Yep." Chew. "That means only half of the teams here will make it out at best." She wove her half-eaten stick of dango in the air. "You kinda also have to worry about huge leeches, super bears, giant centipedes, the more homicidal teams, man-eating tigers, etc. on your challenge." She took another bite out of the treat. "I mean it's nicknamed the forest of death for a reason." She licked her fingers. "Not to mention the typical starvation and dehydration issues." Nibble. "Since you'll be staying in there for five days." She let out a sigh as she finished her dango.

"WHAT?!"

"Yep. This is why you were all asked to pack like you were going on a mission! Y'all are going to have to find food in there and a good source of water. You can get sick and die if you eat or drink the wrong thing you know!" Anko grinned.

"We've only done D-rank missions! How were we supposed to know what to bring?!"

"That's not my problem." Anko waved the genin off. "It was pretty dumb of you to say that though. Now you're probably going to be the first ones hunted."

The genin quivered as more vicious genin grinned evilly at them.

"Turn in your forms at the desk. It's almost time to start."

The genin did as were told, although some grumbled under their breath and others sobbed silently.

"Everyone at their gates! They'll open in twenty seconds!" Anko yelled.

The teams waited at their respective gates for them to open so that they could begin.

Team 8:

"Man I'm really pumped for this!" Kiba grinned wolfishly. "Let's show them what we can do!"

"I hope Saku and Naruto will be okay..." Hinata tapped her index fingers together.

Shino looked on.

Team 9 (Lee's Team):

"Yosh! Even though Saku is a male, I still wish for us to become close comrades!"

"That's the spirit Lee!" Honestly though, Tenten was only saying that because if the guy cried one more time-

Neji scoffed. The only one who was even worth considering was that Uchiha brat, but he wasn't going to be much of a challenge either.

Team 10:

Ino was fantasizing and Choji was sobbing.

"Maybe we'll run into Sasuke and Saku's team! I know! I'll get an extra scroll and give it to them! And Saku will be all like, 'Ino you are a goddess, we wouldn't have been able to pass without your help. Please will you marry me?' and Sasuke would get mad and say 'No! She's going to marry me!' and they'd fight over me and I'll be all like 'Please don't fight over me~. I'll marry both of you~. And they'd agree and we'd all live happily ever after~! Everyone is going to be so jealous! But I'd be like whatever cause I will be Mrs. Ino Amarante Uchiha Yamanaka~~!" Ino squealed.

She turned to her two teammates. "Hey you two! Don't you dare mess this up for me and make me look bad in front Saku and Sasuke!" she growled.

"What are we going to eat?!" Choji cried. "I don't have enough chips to last five days!"

"Dang it Choji! I said don't make me look bad! What are Saku and Sasuke going to think if they see you sobbing all over the place?!"

"What a drag..." Shikamaru sighed.

Team 7:

"C'mon! C'mon already!" Naruto paced around impatiently. "I wanna be the first ones to finish this dumb test!"

"Calm down idiot. The gates are going to open soon." Sasuke said.

"What you say to me jerk? Say it to my face!"

"I said calm down stupid!"

"I'm not stupid! You are!"

"Dead last!"

"Emo duck-butt!"

Saku sighed.

Team 3 (This is Haku's team!)

The boys all checked through their supplies.

"Everyone good?" Hiro asked.

"Yes." Haku responded.

"Mmhmm." Kenshin nodded.

"Alright then! Let's blow their minds with our mad skills!"

...

An alarm blared around the grounds.

"That's the warning bell! Gates open in ten! Nine!"

"One final piece of advice maggots! DON'T DIE!"

The gates opened and the teams raced inside.

And the second exam begins~. I wonder what's in store for our cute genin.
