Life went on as normal for almost a year when ever Reyna was able to get out of camp she would go see Rafael if she could check her phone there was always at least one message for him. She had thought about telling him the truth about her being a half blood but something had always stopped her. It was at the Feast of Fortuna that the decision was ripped out of her hands.

It was during the war games, Siege to be exact. The battle had just started when it happened bringing both hers and Franks teams to a halting stop Rafael had not only somehow wonder into the camp but into the very center of the battle. Frank's team was their first someone shoved Rafael to the ground. And he was surrounded people were yelling at him at each other.

I finally managed to get to the front "What do you want to do about this Reyna?" Frank asked, from where he was squatting next to Rafael

He lifted his head up "Reyna?" his eyes shot past me at first but quickly came back. "W... what's going on?"

I pulled him up "Reyna what's going on?" Frank repeated Rafael's question.

"You me and him, will talk about this." I said before looking around. "Everyone else back to battle." I commanded leading Rafael off the battle field when we were clear the ringing of metal on metal rang behind us. Fauns where running around looking in shock and I saw Rafael looking around wide eyed, but he had enough science to bite his tongue.

"Can someone tell me what's going on?" Frank finally demanded when we reached the senate building.

I pulled off my helmet and brushed my hand through my hair angrily. "Frank, Meet Rafael, My boyfriend. Rafael My Co-praetor." She turned her attention to Rafael. "What I don't know is how you got here?"

He held up his hands in surrender. "I literally have no clue I was at the Café this lady came up and started hitting on me I told her I wasn't interested and next thing I knew I was being shoved to the ground." He looked around the Spartan esque room. "And Praetor, isn't that commander of the roman Legion? What's going on Reyna?"

I noticed a trail of blood on his arm. "Frank will you go get some Bandages from Apollo cabin." She asked as she pulled a seat out to sit on. "Where to begin." She said after frank had left. "I guess with the most unbelievable, so the gods are real roman Greek, and I'm sure other gods to. But this being Rome the Roman gods are the only ones who really matter. On that note welcome to New Rome. My mother is a Roman Goddess Named Bellona she's kind of like the Female version of Mars, who's Franks Dad, back to the point. I have an older sister whose name is Hylla, she's kind of the current queen of the Amazonian's." she stopped as she realized she was babbling. She looked up from where she was playing with the sleeve of his shirt to see him sitting there with his head back.

"That's a lot to take in." he finally said. "I mean I always believed in the old gods, there couldn't be so many stories and they wouldn't be so persistent if they never existed but, to know there still around and my girlfriend is the Daughter of one of them." He started to laugh and it sounded kind of dispirit. "I mean if you had just brought me here and I hadn't been mysteriously teleported, I don't think I would have quiet believed you."

Frank walked back in Will and Nico behind him. "I saw them coming in figured will could probably do a better job than us." Frank said with a shrug.

I stood up so will could look at Rafael's Shoulder and arm. "Will Nico, Rafael." I said introducing them all to each other.

Nico Moved in front of Rafael. In the time since the battle of Gaea Nico had gotten taller and buffer, he looked alive, his skin no longer pale but the light tan of someone who frequently went out in the sun. He stuck out his hand, "Nice to meet you Reyna talks about you all the time." He said making me blush.

"I wish I could say the same." He winced as Will poked at the wound on his arm. "So..." he paused "who's your godly parent?"

"Hades." Nico responded without missing a beat. She nearly died when Nico made himself look like a skeleton. A trick he had recently learned.

"What did I tell you about that!" will snapped at the laughing Nico.

"Sorry Sunshine." Nico said leaning over and kissing wills cheek.

Will Pulled a Bandage around Rafael's arm. Before standing up. "My dad's Apollo by the way." He said also shaking Rafael's hand. He wrapped his arms around Nico who was still shorter than him. "Were going to the Greek cabin now. See you Latter" he said as he and Nico walked to the door. "O and Piper told me to tell you she will be coming here Next week."

"Piper to?" Rafael asked.

"Aphrodite." Reyna said simply. "Speaking of I really need to talk to Venus." She said mainly so she wouldn't forget, not that she had to worry about that.

"You rang my dear." Said the Tall blond who appeared in the center of the room. She wore a pant suit that even Reyna had to admit she made look extremely sexy. She went to Rafael "you know He wouldn't play with me at all. No fun really."

"Leave him alone." Reyna said trying hard not to rip the Goddesses hands from where they touched Rafael.

"I have to know my dear do you really think he's the right choice? What if just sent him to distract you from your real love. What if the man who has the other Piece of your sole walked past you that first day?"

Reyna shook her head she didn't want to hear these things. "You wouldn't get anything from that. That wouldn't be love."

"My dear girl you have no clue." The goddess said lightly. "There are many types of love. And while the love of a soulmate to a soulmate is most powerful, the learned love, love at first sight at first touch or word. Is so much more common. I get something out of this no matter what." She walked up to Reyna grabbing he face lightly. "Now answer me, do you think this man, unskilled with a weapon, having no trace of a Roman man in him, is the Right choice?"

"Yes." Reyna said. "Even if he's not my soulmate he was the right choice." She said her voice wavering the goddess's words making her doubt.

The goddess smiled and kissed Reyna's forehead. "You are very brave, and very smart Miss. Ramírez."

The goddess disappeared just like that but Reyna felt her hair moving she glanced at her reflection in a Mirror her hair had been curled and piled on top of her head. A gift from the goddess.

Reyna showed Rafael the way out of camp promising that she would see him tomorrow and that she would answer any questions he had.

It was at dinner that night when she was bombarded about Rafael all of which she answered. Flowed by her resigning from her role as praetor and voted Hazel as her successor witch most of the camp agreed on.

The next day Reyna answered all of Rafael's questions. Told him about all the Quest, she had been on, the war that almost whipped everyone off the earth. About her father. They talked until after nightfall Reyna's past spilling out of her.

It was the first night she stayed with him and it was far from the last. They traveled the world for Rafael's Photography. It wasn't until Reyna was twenty-one that they came back to America and settled down. They had a huge wedding the Whole of the Greek Roman and Amazonian camps along with Rafael's family was there.
