So, I was thinking...
You know what? Just read the story, it'll tell you.
Btw, movie spoilers (kind of)
This starts of at the scene where Private had just rescued the North Wind from Dave's death machine.
"Well we can't all be pengwings, can we?" Classified said sternly. Maybe the poor penguin boy would listen to him, maybe he would come with them and not walk right into the lair of Doctor Brine. He looked back at his team, Corporal still looking back at the little penguin, his eyes wide with concern. Classified motioned his team to leave. He hoped the little penguin would come after them. He didn't want to put him in danger.
"Well..." the little penguin stammered, looking for words. "But maybe you should be!"
Eva gave a silent gasp, and the team turned around in time to see the little penguin waddling away. The door opened in front of him, and the little penguin walked in, further into the heart of the villain's lair.
"We're going," Classified ordered sternly. His team sadly walked away. Eva looked at Classified hopefully, she knew that they were coming back. She just hoped that they would come back in time. Corporal's look said the same thing.
The door closed behind them. Classified quickly looked around for any signs of octopuses. He motioned his team to move forward. They quickly moved across the room and down the hallway, attempting to avoid any and all octopuses in their path. That was especially hard when you had a giant polar bear with you.
"Bbbrp!" the octopus exclaimed. It had been in the hallway, scouting around when it noticed the team of arctic animals.
"It spotted us!" Eva exclaimed, glancing at the octopus in the hallway.
"Short Fuse-" Classified began to belch out an order.
"I don't have any weapons! They took them all!" Short Fuse exclaimed, quickly assuming what he was going to say.
Classified groaned, remembering. "Nevermind. Just take him out, Corporal."
Corporal took a step forward towards the approaching octopus, cracking his knuckles menacingly. The octopus didn't hesitate but instead continued to walk over. Suddenly, several more octopuses came up behind the first one.
"Now what?!" Short Fuse exclaimed in fright.
"Go the other way!" Classified shouted. The team of animals all turned and began running down the opposite end of the hall. The octopuses quick ran behind them, shouting in their language.
"That room!" Classified exclaimed, pointing to a room of the side of the hallway. The team rushed in it, Corporal slamming the door behind them.
They heard the octopuses run by the room. They all sighed a sigh of relief. Classified looked around the dimly lit room. It was small, just big enough to fit the four animals. The ceiling was also small, and Corporal had to tilt his head to be able to stand up in it.
"Now what?" Short Fuse whispered. But Short Fuse wasn't really capable of whispering, and it sounded more like a soft shout.
"We wait in here until-" Classified began, but was interrupted when the door of the room opened. They all instantly became silent, and tried to stick to the sides of the walls.
In the room popped Dave's head. He looked around the room for a second before closing it again and seemingly walking away. He didn't seem to notice that they were in there.
"No, wait," Dave's voice from outside the room said. He opened the door again and flipped a switch so the room was fully lit.
The four animals that had been hiding in the room looked at the large purple octopus in fright.
"I thought I sent you to my death machine?" Dave asked them with a confused look. He glanced around the room again and shrugged. "Well since you got out I might as do something else with you. I believe my Medusa Serum needs some more test subjects," he announced.
"What?!" Classified exclaimed, frightened. He pulled his back closer to the wall.
Dave popped his head out of the room and called to some octopuses nearby. "Look who I found!"
Several minutes later the North Wind was once again tied up. Dave had proceeded to bring them into a large room where a large ray-gun was. Inside it appeared to be the Medusa Serum, that was apparently the power-source of it. Dave held the remote for the ray-gun, smiling evilly.
The North Wind animals all looked at the large machine in fright as Dave maneuvered the front of it to face them.
"Show mercy!" Short Fuse shouted. He closed his eyes in anticipation.
Classified grinded his teeth together, his ears pulled back against his head in panic. He didn't want to die, he had already made a big scene about that. What would it really be like to be dead?
Eva squinted looking at the machine. They still didn't know what the Medusa Serum did, but she didn't guess it did anything good. Maybe it didn't kill, just maybe. That's all she could think of and hope for.
Corporal winced as he watched Dave reach for the fire button on the remote. Maybe it wouldn't work. But thats what any optimist would say.
Dave was quite surprised that they weren't putting up much of a fight. And he was also quite intrigued to see what his Medusa Serum would do when used on mammals. He had never used it on warm-blooded creatures. The only other time, with the penguin named Private, he had ended up disintegrating him. So this time he had the setting on normal instead of high.
And he fired it.
A bit of the Serum that had not hit the North Wind ended up turning into a weird smoky gas, that Dave parted away with his arms in attempt to see. He looked on at the new North Wind team, still tied up. But they were much different. For his machine didn't kill, it made them into monsters.
Classified, that is, if you could call him that anymore, growled and huffed in anger. He had transformed quite a bit, and his real wolf self had been put out. Giant fangs hung out of his drooling mouth. His usually neatly combed fur was a mess, going in every direction possible. Long, sharp claws came out of his paws. And it was all tinted a bit green from the Serum.
Eva hissed, her new forked tongue moving out of her mouth. She furiously tried to flap her new bat-like wings, but was constrained by the ropes that they had been tied up in. Her feet weren't constrained, though. They flailed around under her, the long talons on them scratching the air. She hissed again, her snake-like eyes staring blankly into space.
The creature formerly known as Short Fuse also thrashed around in his constraint. His new fish-like tail flapped up and down angrily. He roared menacingly, the large teeth in his mouth flashing out. His eyes, now cold and soulless, glared around at the world. And from his forehead came something like a rod of flesh and bone, and on the end of it was another eye. It wasn't black like his others, but it was like his old brown eyes. It looked around at everything, seemingly frightened by what was going on.
And then there was Corporal. He didn't even seem to remotely resemble a polar bear anymore. His new large ugly ears turned around and around, picking up new sounds in every direction. He snarled, with his four large rat-like teeth that hung out of his mouth. His formerly soft fur had seemingly been replaced with rough and dry fur, tinted a bit green. He struggled greatly to attempt to get out.
Dave smiled evilly, tossing his safety goggles aside. He jumped up in delight, clutching the remote to the machine tightly.
"Monsters!" the octopus exclaimed happily. "I made you into monsters!"
He walked up closer to the struggling creatures.
"How do you like it now, North Wind?!" he said menacingly to Classified. Classified growled and snapped at Dave. The octopus had to quickly pull back.
Several other octopuses walked over to where Dave was. They said something to him in their octopus language before quickly leaving.
"I think I'll release you with the other penguins," Dave said to the mutant North Wind. "In the meantime, I have some humans to entertain!"
The creatures continued to growl and snarl and do their things as Dave walked away.
"And more revenge to do," he finished.
That's all, folks. If any writers want to use my North Wind mutant designs, feel free to.
