Authors Notes: Okay, I know I should be working on my existing stories. However, I have been in a huge Star Wars kick as of late, and as Roxy Fan 4 Ever as well as a few others know, I have had this story idea floating around in my head for some time now. So, I decided to take advantage of the situation and start getting this one out.

Now this story is a slight cross over between Star Wars: The Old Republic and of course, Winx Club.

Hope everyone enjoys!

Path of Destruction

Chapter 1

Excitement was abuzz around the school, despite it being summer break for the girls and specialist. During a planned expansion to the far end of the school grounds, the construction crew unearthed a massive structure that was unlike anything anyone had ever since. Immediately, the crew halted all construction and informed Faragonda of what they had discovered. Which lead to why the girls were here now. Being the most senior students, and ultimately the most experienced in dealing with difficult situations.

"So what's up Ms. F?" Musa asked as they all gathered in the large office.

"Yeah, why the sudden call back from our vacation?" Flora asked. "Is something wrong?"

"No no, nothing of that sort." Faragonda smiled to the group. "As you know we were to be expanding the school in the southern part of the grounds. However, the crew working there uncovered some sort of ruins.

I figured this would be a great experience for all of you."

"So wait, we got called back from our vacation to explore some old ruins under the school?" Riven asked, though obviously not pleased with being called in.

"Oh cheer up Riven, it's not everyday we get to be the first ones to check out some ancient ruins." Timmy put in, earning a slight giggle from Tecna.

"I did have a senior group go through first to check for any kinds of danger. They reported no findings and deemed it safe for you all to proceed." Faragonda continued before turning serious, "However, I must stress that if you do find anything unusual, please report it immediately."

"Alright Ms. F, when do we start?" Bloom asked, eagerness evident in her voice.

"Right now." The headmistress chuckled as she dismissed the large group before her.

Excited, the group exited out of the large office and proceeded to make their way down to the first floor of the school where the hover craft they came in on awaited them. Chatting excitedly amongst each other for the quick shuttle ride towards the unearthed ruins. As they drew nearer they could see the outlines of the massive structure jutting out from beneath the ground. A long path lead towards what was deducted as the entrance of the building.

Various workers were still laboring away to uncover more of the structure. Exposing various statues of an unknown empire that must of existed long before written history. Churning even more excitement from the group of teenagers as the shuttle began to land just at the base of the path, proceeding in lettings it's passengers off before flying away again.

"This is going to be so cool!" Layla exclaimed.

"Alright everyone, let's try and calm down." Tecna requested. "We're suppose to be setting an example to the other students you know."

"Yeah yeah." Musa brushed it off. Though all of them began to quiet down anyway as they began to inspect some of the closer statues.

What was interesting to Bloom was that none of them looked human. This excited her to no end, though she restrained it as best she could. An avid believer of life outside earth, though technically she was in a different realm right now, she still didn't want to get her hopes up. Many ancient cultures on earth had similar designs that was the constant source of debate between the belief that other life forms had visited these ancient civilizations or if there were just representations of their deities.

Shaking off her thoughts, she continued to follow the others down the long path they kept descending until they were at the base, gazing up at the massive entrance way. Part of the massive door had crumbled, leaving enough room for people to move in and out of the structure with ease. Support beams in place to prevent any more of it falling.

Another thing that Bloom noticed was that the 'writing' on the walls didn't look human at all. Even here in Magix the primary language was English. Though some of the magical realms had their own dialect, English was the preferred one to use.

"Hey Bloom, over here." Sky called out, snapping the young red head out of her thoughts.

"Sorry, was lost in thought." She replied honestly. "Just excited to be one of the first to be looking over this discovery."

"Well, don't lose your head too much." The blonde prince laughed. "Let's catch up with the others, Tecna found some huge machine in the center most room."

"Really?"

"Yeah, Tecna said she had never seen anything like it."

Without wasting anymore time, the duo quickly proceeded where the rest of the group had gathered. Bloom was taken back by the sheer size of the machine that her friend had discovered. From what she could see of it, it had a circular like platform at the base, with three massive arms reach up towards the ceiling.

"Do you think the others has seen this yet?" Stella asked the technology fairy.

"Hard to say, the room was sealed when I entered it."

"I wonder if it works." Timmy pondered aloud.

"Do you even know what it is?" Tecna shot back with a small smirk. "For all we know it could be some sort of weapon, or a power source, or just a huge decoration."

"Well, looks like a Christmas Tree to me." Riven joked, earning a slight elbow from Musa.

"Well first things first, we should set to work deciphering these markings." Tecna gestured at the various lettering on the console like device. With that, everyone went to work, using the basic knowledge they had of archeology. Matching up identical symbols, and so on.

It must have been hours, because night was already falling over the complex. Despite all of their work, they had made very little progress on deciphering any of the symbols. By now, Brandon and Musa had already left the room, returning to the school to inform Faragonda of their progress, or lack there of.

"All this time, and we still don't know anything about this place?" Sky complained.

"Archeology takes time." Tecna stated, not looking up from her position. "In reality, while we are the first to be here, we probably wont know any of what this says for years."

"Wow." The blonde prince sighed as he leaned back against the console. Inadvertently hitting a single button.

Suddenly the massive machine roared to life, causing the structure to shake violently. Knocking those in the room off their feet and to the floor. Beams of energy shot out from the massive arms that surrounded the platform, nearly blinding everyone in the room.

"Hurry, we have to get out of here!" Layla called out, struggling to get to her feet.

However, before anyone could even reach the opening another giant shuddered emitted from the central machine, causing debris to rain down in front of the door. Effectively blocking off their only exit. They could only watch in horror as a ball of energy formed in the center of the room. Slowly expanding, then shifting into a swirling vortex, causing everyone to panic.

As the vortex began to stabilize, they could feel a slight pull towards it, prompting them each to scramble for something to hold on to. However, Sky being the closest to the device wasn't so lucky as he was ripped up from his spot and thrown into the vortex. Then Layla, then Tecna. Slowly one by one got sucked up into the massive vortex until only Bloom remained. Desperately trying to hold onto a single banister. But her grip was slipping.

It was almost as if it was happening in slow motion. The young fire fairy watched in horror as her fingers completely slipped off the railing she was clinging on to her. Then the sudden feel of weightlessness as she was pulled across the room and into the vortex. And then, blackness.

Alfea

From the rumblings of the ground, it was obvious that something had happened. Something horrible. Immediately Musa, Brandon, and Faragonda ran towards the window that looked out towards the area where the structure was unearthed. From the distance they could see a massive swirl of lights and then, nothing.

"Goddess." Faragonda breathed.

Bloom

Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip.

Water drops where what caused the young girl to stir. Her body protesting as she forced herself to stand up, looking around to get some sort of idea of where she was. Surrounding her was dense vegetation and foliage growing over what appeared to be multiple structures.

As she continued to look around her surroundings, she began to notice the tale tell signs of recognizable buildings in the fading light. A city. That is what this place once was. She began to wonder if she had managed to time travel and that she was standing in the ruins of Magix. However, gazing up at the stars she quickly dismissed that possibility. She didn't recognize the moon, nor any of the stars in the sky.

"Sky!" She called out into the dusk.

Only various animal calls answered her cries.

Looking around, she could see the sun setting over the horizon. She knew full well that she would need shelter immediately if she was going to survive this unknown wilderness for the night. Bloom worked quickly, applying what her adopted parents had taught her of camping and other basic survival knowledge. Salvaging what she could from the near by structures.

Just as the sun finished setting, the young fire fairy started a small camp fire by using her fairy powers, illuminating her small campsite. Giving her a fair look at her recently constructed shelter. It wasn't pretty and she was sure Stella would cringe at the thought of having to sleep in it, but she didn't have time to look for the nearest hotel.

Sitting down in front of the fire, her stomach growled in hunger. Reminding her that she had not eaten anything since lunch the previous day. Not to mentioned she didn't know just how long she was out, though she wagered to guess she was unconscious for at least twelve hours. Basing her guess on the fact that when the incident happened it was already dark, and that she awoken here just before nightfall. Slowly she rubbed her shoulders, trying to get warmth into her arms; trying to ignore her hunger. Bloom knew better then to venture off in hopes of finding food after dark, she would have to wait until daybreak. Getting up, she crawled into her makeshift shelter, placing a thick piece of steel over the entry way and crawled into her makeshift bed. Closing her eyes, she slowly let sleep take her.

Morning came earlier then she had expected. However, it wasn't the sunlight that woke her. It was the sound of multiple footsteps. Her heart began to race excitedly. Quickly she moved to open the entry way to her shelter and scurried out. Though what greeted her was not her friends as she had hoped, but half a dozen armored individuals that looked like they were part of some military.

"Hold it!" One of the soldiers ordered, leveling his rifle at her.

"At ease Private." Another instructed, obviously a higher rank judging by the coloring on his armor, as he approached where Bloom was now kneeling. "Who are you ma'am?"

"My name is Bloom. Bloom Peters." She quickly answered.

"How did you manage to get yourself lost on this cesspool of a planet?"

'Cesspool of a planet?' Bloom thought to herself. Could she have really traveled to a completely different planet, simply from that weird device that found in the ruins. She weighed her options about just how much she should divulge to these soldiers.

"I don't know." She decided to answer. "I lost consciousness, and when I awoke I was here. Who are you?"

"We're the 215th from the Republic military." Answered the commander.

"You're lucky the rakghouls didn't get to you last night." Another solider put in.

"What do you mean, rakghouls?" The young fire fairy asked, unsure if she really wanted to know the answer.

"Never mind, let's move out." The commanding officer ordered.

"What about the girl?"

"Take her with, no sense leaving her out here."

Bloom didn't need to be told twice to join in with them. However, the commander insisted she stay in the middle of them all, just in case they were attacked. As they walked, the commander of the squad filled her in on exactly what planet she was on, Taris. Once a bustling city over three hundred years ago before it was bombarded by a ruthless tyrant by the name of Malak.

The young fire fairy had no idea what happened next. One moment she was talking with the soldier, the next she was thrown across the ground as a massive ape like creature pinned the commander. Easily over powered the soldier as blood splattered across the ground. Attracting more of the beasts to where they were.

"Rakghouls!" One of the soldiers shouted, then following up with a retreat order that the others did not hesitate to follow.

"What about the girl?" Another asked.

"Leave her." Was all the answer was.

To Bloom's horror, the squad did just that. Not even looking back as they took off to seek shelter from the attacking beasts. However, the young fairy saw that they didn't make it far as they were quickly surrounded and effectively torn apart. Bloom didn't want to admit it, but she felt a twinge of satisfaction of the ironic justice that was dealt to them.

Turning her attention back to the prone body of the commander of the unit, she saw that the rakghoul as they called it had finished and was staring hungrily at her. Bloom tried to get up and run away, but immediately tripped over a piece of debris from one of the many structures that littered the area. Though this proved to be fortunate for her as the hulking beast narrowing missed her head as she fell, it still did not help her case any.

Almost immediately the rakghoul righted itself and continued to stalk towards her. Leaping towards her one more time. In sheer panic, Bloom swiftly extended her arm towards the attacking beast in what would appear to be a vain attempt to protect herself. However to her surprise she felt a surge of power from her hand, unlike anything she had felt before, sending the beast flying away from her. As if some invisible hand had swatted it away. Right into the other group of rakghouls, causing a small in fighting amongst them.

The young red head looked on in horror once more as all six of the beasts lumbered towards her. One of the new comers took to the air, leaping towards her. Suddenly, what seemed like a red laser sword flew through the air, cutting the attacking rakghoul in half. Bloom followed the flying sword as it returned to its master.

A large male in dark armor. Beside him, a young human woman in a bit more revealing clothing and strange markings on her face. In her hands, she could see the woman wielding some sort of laser staff, similar to what the larger man was wielding. Without hesitation the two charged the pack of beasts, easily slaughtering them where they stood. Bloom didn't miss the fact that they used the same strange power that she did just seconds ago.

"You are Force sensitive." The man stated after the battle was over.

"F-force?" Bloom asked, though she had already concluded it was the name of the strange power they used.

The man took a moment in silence to gauge the young girl before him. Clipping his weapon to his belt he reached up and pulled back the hood that covered his head. Then proceeded to remove the mask he was wearing, revealing his red skin.

'An alien!?' Bloom thought to herself in shock, and a trace amount of fear.

Silence continued to hang over the three of them. It seemed that the large alien was considering what to do with the being they had come across. The young human woman that accompanied the alien kept her eyes on Bloom as well, making the young fairy feel exposed. While she was thankful for them saving her, something inside her screamed that these two were not nice people. The way their outfits looked, the powers the used, and the weapons they carried.

"You are a stranger here." It was a statement, not a question. "Tell me, how did you arrive, and do not lie."

Bloom could feel her blood running cold in her veins. While nothing was directly said, the tone he used when he demanded she not lie promised great pain if she dared to fabricate a story. So she spilled. Everything about the school she had attended, the weird structure they had found, the machine, and the events that led up to her being stranded on this planet. Silently the alien drunk all this information in.

"You are from a different galaxy, yet you can use the Force." The alien smirked. "This is an interesting discovery."

"W-what exactly is the Force?" Bloom ventured. To be honest, she was curious about it.

"The Force is power." He answered passionately, before turning back to her. "You say you were among friends when the incident happened?"

"Yes." The young fairy quickly answered. Slightly hopeful.

"Then let us come to an agreement." He began slowly, almost like he was calculating his every word. "You become my apprentice. I teach you the ways of the Force, and in return I will use my influence to aid you in finding your companions."

It took a moment to process the offer she had just been given. It sounded a bit too good to be true, and frankly sounded like only she would benefit from it. Learning a new power that she had just discovered and finding her friends. But what does he get in return?

'An apprentice.' Her thoughts reasoned. He is looking for someone to teach.

"I- I accept." Bloom answered. This was her only chance at finding her friends, and she had to take it. "What do I call you?"

"My name, is Darth Viticus. Dark Lord of the Sith." He grinned. "But as my apprentice, you will address me as master."

Additional Authors Notes: I figured that was a good place to leave off the first chapter. Now, while I am still working on Dynasty of Evil and Shepard of Fire, updates for this story may seem to come faster for a short while. This is mainly because I have the first ten chapters mapped out already. However, I will be working on all three stories at once!
