Hi guys! It's me. I am writing most of this from a hospital where I just found out I tore the ligament attaching my Achilles tendon to another muscle in both legs. I also found out I have compartment syndrome in my legs. I am in a lot of pain, so the pain killers are making me feel a little weird. I am writing this as a distraction, so it is probably bad, sorry.

The guest who messaged me Snow, I would love to have your help! Thanks! You can contact me at silviogonzales108

Thanks again!

Please review so I know what I should fix. I hope you enjoy it :/

In a cave, near the Fairy Tail guild hall, a young pink-sorry, salmon haired teen slept. Above him stood a man that looked no older than twenty. The man had pitch-black hair, pale skin, black cloths, and a white tunic. He smiled slightly as tears cascaded down his cheek.

"It's nice to see you… Natsu."

Natsu stirred, rolling over before his eyes shot open and he sat up. Looking around he could tell the room was empty. 'Odd… I swore I heard someone… I can smell something, but its faint. This smell is definitely human, but I don't recognize them. I'd better keep my guard up.'

Now that he was awake, Natsu was having trouble falling back to sleep. Groaning, he rose out of his "nest" and walked outside. From the height he was at, Natsu could see the beautiful stars, shining down on the sleeping world below. He sat down on what he thought was a rock, and looked at the sky. The dark night and cold air made him think back to when he was training with Acnologia.

Flashback

"Hey dad, what are those bright lights in the sky?" A younger Natsu lay in a patch of dirt, Acnologia lay beside him, delicately pulling the appendages off of a man and swallowing them. The dirt they were lying on had once been a small village, Natsu's training had ended that. Acnologia gulped down a arm and glanced up.

"Those are the stars, Natsu. Millions of miles away." Natsu frowned,

"Am I gonna have to kill them? How am I going to do that if they're so far away?" Acnologia smiled, sort of, blood dripping from his teeth.

"You don't kill them. They're not alive. Those are balls of gas, too far away for you to get to." Again, Natsu frowned, not understanding.

"If they're not alive and they don't do anything what purpose do they have for being there?" After a brief pause for Acnologia to swallow the man's head, he responded.

"They do have a purpose. They tell stories. The strongest people to have lived are recorded in the sky. Do you see that clump of stars?" Acnologia lifted his claw to a point in the sky, and Natsu nodded. "That is Orion, the hunter. It was said that none could escape his mighty club and bejeweled sword. And over there is Felthorn, the ancient purgatory dragon. His body was never found, but I'm sure he died at least 700 years ago. He was very strong, one dragon that I would have gladly killed." Natsu smiled and stretched his hand out towards the sky.

"Hey dad, do you think I could make it up there? You know, be so strong that I'm recorded in the stars?"

"That depends on you. If you listen to me, and do everything I ask. I guarantee that you will be up there. If you really want to do it, go destroy the next village, no survivors. If you do that, I know I'm not wasting my time here." Natsu grinned and leapt up, "I'll kill them, all of them. I'll do that and make it to the stars, I promise."

Present Time

Natsu sighed. 'Is that a lie too?' deciding not to focus on whether or not Acnologia had been lying to him this whole time, he stood up, his leg knocked against what he had thought was a rock. The oval shaped object rolled to the edge of the cliff, and after teetering a bit started to roll off. Thinking quick, Natsu dove to the edge and grabbed it. Bringing it back up, Natsu could clearly see that it was an egg. In the past, Natsu had found many eggs, but was ordered to break them all. Only once, was when he was three, was he allowed to hatch the animal, a small chicken, but on his fifth birthday, Acnologia made him kill it as practice for his Apocalypse Dragon's Grip Strike. This time would be different.

Since he had no idea how to care for an animal, he decided the guild would be the best place to take it. Unfortunately, it was still the dead of night, but since he couldn't sleep, Natsu decided to wait until morning at the guild. Carefully navigating his way down the mountain, so to not break the egg, Natsu made it to the guild.

Of course he had barely been a member for two days, but the silent stillness of the guild was a bit unsettling. Natsu put the egg on one of the tables, and was about to sit down when he heard a loud snore from the back of the building. Leaving the egg, Natsu walked over to the guild master's office and opened the door. Passes out on his seat, was Macarov, his head buried in paperwork from the magic council. Natsu was about to shut the door, but something on the wall caught his eye. Well, not one thing. The walls were covered with newspapers and documents, all saying things like:

Bisca "Mulan Rouge" Joins the Fairy Tail Guild

Gray Fullbuster Defeats Vulcans Terrorizing Neighborhoods, Many Houses destroyed.

And Erza "Titania" Scarlett Slays Horned Beast, Fishing Docks and Warehouses Destroyed.

Natsu smiled. 'So the old man really does care about them… maybe one day he'll feel the same about me…' As Natsu turned to leave, his hand brushed a stack of folders, one of them fell to the ground. Natsu bent down to pick it up and was met with a picture of himself looking back up at him. The photo must have been taken years ago, because he was significantly smaller. But what attracted his attention was the fact that, in the photo, he had his hand through a person's chest, his hand coated in black magic. Natsu's eyes widened. Quickly, he pulled out the rest of the folders. It was all there. Every village he had attacked, every one of his sightings, all the body counts caused by him. All of it, in that folder.

"Did you not expect me to do some research on you?"

Natsu's head snapped up. Sitting cross legged on his desk, was a fully awake Macarov, looking down at him.

"H-how did you find these? Are you going to try to kill me? You wouldn't let me stay here, would you? I killed them, all of them… why-"

"Everyone deserves a second chance, Natsu." Natsu stopped talking and stared at his master, wide eyed. "When I see a child on the wrong path, it is my duty to help them. No matter what you have done in the past, you won't be judged here. We are a family, we wouldn't abandon each other, Natsu, you can stay here as long as you want. I believe that Lisanna told you something very similar." Natsu's mouth opened.

"How did you know abou-" Macarov silenced him with a hand on his shoulder as he walked past him.

"I'm going home, I've spent to long staring at the magic council's crap." Macarov walked out the door. "And Natsu," he called over his shoulder, "Your my son too. Remember that. When you need help, turn to your family." With that the old man left the building, leaving Natsu alone staring at his folder. Eventually, Natsu stood up and looked at the dark. He smiled.

"As long as I want, huh?"

The next morning the guild members trickled in, only to be met with an odd sight. The son of the dragon king, Acnologia, the apocalypse dragon, was behind the bar making pancakes, a big egg strapped to his back, and a cook book open on the counter. Around him were several black gooey blobs, obviously failed attempts at the pancakes. Macarov walked by, stopping when he was parallel to Natsu.

"So, you stayed, hmm?" Natsu nodded and flicked a pancake at Fairy Tail's guild master. It hit him square in the face and slid down until he sucked it in his mouth.

"Not half bad." With that Macarov went down to the basement to grab some more beer. Around Natsu, the rest of the guild tentatively bit into the food.

"Hey Natsu, thanks for the food!"

"It's pretty good for a first attempt!"

"There's gonna be enough for seconds right?"

Lisanna ran up to him.

"Natsu! Is that an egg on your back? Oohh can I help you raise it? C'mon we'll be like a family!"

Natsu looked around with a smile.

'A family, huh? I can live with that.'

Once again, I apologize for the short, bad, rushed chapter. I really hope to update more. Due to a review, I have decided to have a new dragon train Natsu. If you want I can add in Zeref or God Serena later. The new dragon is Felthorn (If you go back and read the flashback, it hints to something). He will be a purgatory dragon, since I only got one (plz I need more reviews) review saying that they would like the Purgatory Apocalypse Dragon Slayer. I know this chapter was bad, but please leave a review telling me what you want .
