Okay, so we all known that Saguru is the calm, smug 17 year old big brother, Shinichi is the patient, exasperated 16 year old, Heiji is the lively, dense 14 year old, and Kaito is the other annoying, smart 14 year old. They live in a quiet-ish neighborhood in an apartment made for 1.5, though they're building up to a bigger one mind you, and it's honestly not bad.

On weekdays, Saguru gets out of bed exactly 1 hour and 30 minutes before they're all suppose to leave. He takes care of all his duties(in the far-off distance, you can hear the cackles of 14 year olds), then goes downstairs to start prepare breakfast while he waits for the rest of the people to wake up. In 25 minutes, Shinichi will slowly rouse awake, and will shake the other two awake on the way to the bathroom.

They will then all tumble down the stairs(usually with the exception of Shinichi, so yeah) and help with breakfast, which in good days will be actual steaming miso soup and rice, maybe omelettes or fish, instead of cold milk and buttered toast(not that they're bad, but it's getting a bit bland).

They will start on their lunch for the day, maybe pack some snacks depending on the situation. They don't have enough anything for bento, obviously, but they make do with BLT sandwiches most of the time, without the B usually but with the addition of mayonnaise, cheese and sesame seeds. Kaito likes sweet pepper, which is disgusting by the way, shut up Heiji, so occasionally Saguru will pick those up at the market. If they're lucky, there will be shredded chicken and meat. On the not-so lucky days, it'll just be grilled cheese sandwiches, or rice with some sort of meat(not eel, too expensive, like Jesus). On the bittersweet days someone will not have an appetite for lunch, or anything, so there will be more food in general, but not healthy for that one or more person.

Shinichi is only first year in highschool, but kicking everyone's asses anyhow. No one knows that he lives in an apartment with four annoying brothers in a 1.5 apartment, and so what if they do? Bully him? that's so old school, and honestly, lame and pathetic. Everyone in this small, little make-shift family is smart enough the boot the principal off their seats and replace them, but they're really lazy, so they don't bother with much.

After school, they might have some clubs and such, so the first person who gets home will start preparing dinner. Now, they will use the rice they have and put it in four medium sized bowls(Saguru and Shinichi will try to stuff a bit more in Heiji's and Kaito's bowls, trying to be stealthy, but it doesn't really work well). There will be that seaweed salad thing Shinichi and Saguru love so much, those first-class bastards, tofu, maybe okonamiyaki, and fried chicken. They will not pray for thanks because even though they're not necessarily atheists, they're not devoted Christians either. They will not eat in silence, 86% play footsies under the table, clean up, have a bit of privacy and do whatever-the-f*ck they want, do their duties(in the far off distance, you can hear cackles of 14 year olds), and go the f*ck to bed. Hopefully they'll have either good dreams, or no none at all.

Their lives are not at all boring; the older three are aspiring detectives and sports players, and Kaito gets money from doing teeny tiny magic shows. Life is stable and good, and certainly not boring.

Shinichi and Saguru are like the calm-before-the-storm duo, and then after them, Kaito and Heiji are the storm.

This fam-fam isn't perfect persay, but hey, who is? Whelp, that was sappy.
