Hey, peeps! welcome to the next fic! This fic will be different concerning Diego and Shira, so hope you enjoy!

Diego yawned as he walked back to his and Frida's cave carrying a freshly killed gazelle on his back. Here he was at the crack of dawn, bringing food for his mate who was unable to hunt in her condition.

"Frida?"

He couldn't help but smile when he saw Frida. She laid in their cave sound asleep on her side with a smile on her face. Diego dragged the gazelle to her and gently laid his paw on her round belly. It had taken them quite a while, but after years of trying, Frida was finally pregnant with a litter of cubs.

"Good morning, Diego", Frida softly said as she opened her eyes.

"I got your breakfast", he said looking at the gazelle.

The two sabers chuckled as they felt a series of kicks coming from Frida's belly.

"Looks like you brought it just in time", Frida said as she sat up to eat.

Diego smiled, watching her eat the gazelle to satisfy the cubs she was carrying. They had a hard time getting pregnant. They had to wait for Frida's ribs to heal after their journey in the dino world. They were under stress from watching Peaches and cleaning up whatever mess Sid would make, whether it was losing Peaches or getting lost while playing with her.

Now that Peaches was a grown teenager in no need of a babysitter, it took some of the stress of their shoulders. Once Frida finally got pregnant, they couldn't count how many elbow jabs Diego got from the guys saying it was about time.

"Oh boy", Frida said standing up.

"What, is it?" Diego nervously asked. "Is it time?"

"No, worse..."

Diego's fur stood on end. Worse than giving birth? A miscarriage? He watched as Frida ran outside the cave. He followed her, worried something might've been wrong with her or the cubs. Diego was met with the sight of Frida vomiting in the bushes.

"I hope these cubs come soon", she said sitting down. "I don't know how much of this morning sickness I can take."

"Go get a drink", Diego said nuzzling her. "I'll be there in a few."

"Where are you going?" Frida asked.

"Out for a run. Got to stay in shape if these cubs are anything like you."

Frida smirked as she nuzzled Diego before turning away, walking toward the lake.
