Epilogue:

Neji stood outside the academy with his very pregnant wife, Ren. Neji held his three year old daughter, Asami, on his shoulders so she could see over the crowd. Ren's sister, Mayumi, held Asami's twin sister, Akemi. "Are you ready to see the candidates for your new genin team," Ren asked Neji as she stood on her tiptoes trying to see over everyone.

"Yes I am," Neji replied. He ignored his daughter's tugging at his short black hair. He had cut it (tearfully…in a manly way) after it was pulled one too many times.

"We still have ten minutes," Mayumi muttered.

Akemi grabbed a fist full of her aunt's hair, causing her to gasp. Both girls really loved hair pulling. Neji wondered briefly how his wife had stood keeping her hair so long. It now reached mid-thigh and she seemed to have no intentions of cutting it. His thoughts were interrupted by a sweet little voice. "Umi-obaa-san! Need wee-wee," Akemi announced rather loudly causing people to turn and stare at her. Her white eyes widened and she ducked her head to hide her face behind her chin-length dark hair. Their children were their spitting image. No one could decide who they looked more like, Ren and Neji were too similar to tell apart aside from Neji's masculine traits.

"Me go too," Asami whined.

The vein on Neji's right temple throbbed in irritation and he removed his daughter from his shoulders and placed her on the ground. Mayumi did the same with Akemi. He didn't want to miss this graduation ceremony for anything and the girls had just been asked if they needed to potty less than ten minutes ago. Ren held her hands out for the girls. "C'mon then. I'll take you to the bathroom but we have to hurry. We don't want to miss your nii-sans' graduation."

"I'll take them," Mayumi offered, "That way they don't have to rush and you two won't miss anything."

Ren smiled and started to tear up. Damn her hormones. She would be so lost without her imouto. Her father died eight months after she married Neji and so Mayumi had been living with them for quite a while. She was now married and planning a family of her own but she still took time to help her sister. Ren loved her dearly. "Thank you, imouto," Ren whimpered as she fought back tears.

"You're welcome. Don't cry you're going to ruin your makeup," Mayumi teased her as the twins grabbed her hands while doing their 'need to pee' dances. "We'll be right back," she said before rushing through the crowd with Asami and Akemi in tow.

Neji wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, resting his hands on her large baby bump and rubbed small circles around it with his palms. "These two need to hurry up and get here already so you'll stop crying all the time. I hate when you're upset," Neji admitted to her as he rested his chin against the top of her head. She really was short. He was more comfortable with public displays of affection now. The couple had fulfilled their obligations to the clan and then some. Everyone knew that the stoic Hyuga prodigy turned clan leader had to care deeply for his wife. Their bright and happy children were proof of that. He decided a long time ago that he didn't care, if he wanted to touch his wife he would.

Ren leaned her head back against his chest and sighed. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to be so emotional. It's just that everything gets to me," she told him softly as she caressed his hands with her fingertips. She loved him even more today than she had yesterday. She smiled. She had decided that that would be her goal in life. Neji's team motto was to 'be stronger today than I was yesterday' so Ren's was to 'love him more today than I did yesterday' and she was happy to say that she had achieved that almost every single day. There were times when they bumped heads but they always worked it out. They'd been married for twelve, almost thirteen, years so things were definitely working for them.

"Ren! Neji," a loud voice called to the couple. They looked in the direction the voice had come from and both smiled instantly when they saw Lee and TenTen being trailed after by their three daughters, Natsuko (10), Reiko (7), and Mi (4). The group stopped in front of the couple. "Where is Akemi, Asami, and Mayumi-san," Lee asked as he looked around.

"They went to the little kunoichi's room," Ren answered softly. Neji nodded in agreement but decided to stay silent. He was too busy focusing on the little flutters he was feeling from Ren's baby bump. "How are you feeling, TenTen? Ready to have that baby yet?"

TenTen laughed and rubbed her own, eight month developed, baby bump affectionately. "I dunno. I'd like to keep him in a little longer," TenTen mumbled more to herself than Ren.

Ren giggled. "Lee's got you convinced that it's a boy again, huh?"

Neji chuckled and stated, "You will probably have another little girl." Lee had wanted a son more than anything. He loved his daughters but a son would make him happier than Gai in the green jumpsuit section of a clothing store.

"If this one is a girl we will just try again. Our youth must be passed on and I can only pass so much of it onto my little girls. They need a brother who will be able to protect them when I am no longer able," Lee reasoned.

Ren shook her head and looked over at Neji. "I guess it's a good thing we had boys first."

Neji chuckled and nodded. "Yes it seems so. Do not worry Lee, I'm sure you'll have your son."

Natsuko got into a 'nice girl' pose and grinned causing a small glare to reflect off her pearly whites. "If tou-san does not have his boy then I will be his son and I will protect my sisters from the evils of the world." She really was a miniature Lee. Her brown hair was long and in buns like her mother's but her bangs were all Lee. She had thick eyebrows and Lee's eyelashes and her spirit matching his to the fullest.

Ren and Neji started to laugh but Ren gasped slightly. What was that? She frowned down at her belly and then looked up at Neji. He was strangely pale. Did he feel it to? She was ready to have this set of twins but she didn't mean now. She flashed a smile at Neji. She knew what he was going to say and didn't want to hear it. She instead decided to nip it in the bud by saying, "Small contraction, it's no big deal. I'll be fine for the ceremony and then we can go to the hospital. It just started so we have time." Ren's shortest time spent in labor was nine hours so she felt confident that everything would work out just fine.

"You're in labor? Are you really sure you want to be standing here," TenTen asked. Her brows were furrowed. TenTen hadn't had the easiest of pregnancies and couldn't imagine standing there while in pain. She looked up at the podium where the Hokage, Naruto, was about to make his speech. "I suppose this shouldn't take too long though. When you head to the hospital you can leave the kids with us. We'll take them to their party and Hinata and Sasuke can give us a hand if we need it. Thirteen kids should be no big deal for the four of us." TenTen grinned even though she knew it was a lie. Hinata's daughters were a force to be reckoned with when they were around Neji's oldest boys.

"A-alright," Ren said wearily.

"It'll all be fine. I'll check in with them off and on. TenTen and Lee are capable of taking care of things. We'll be taking on their daughters when TenTen goes into labor too. Don't worry about it so much," Neji told her gently. He could practically feel her uneasiness and it was something he knew he needed to extinguish. She needed to relax and focus on the matter at hand.

Ren nodded, unable to fight with her husband over it. She really hated being a burden. She bit her lip and listened as Naruto gave his speech. Mayumi, Akemi, and Asami rejoined them about halfway through and everyone listened in silence. Naruto made jokes and then got down to business. He announced the graduating genin in alphabetical order. "TeTe-obaa-san," Asami said as she tugged on TenTen's middle finger to get her attention. TenTen looked down at the little girl that she considered her niece and smiled. "Can I hold you hand," she asked sweetly. TenTen nodded and wrapped her hand around the little girl's.

"Hagane Kuretsu," Naruto announced into the mic. He had been listing names the whole time. A boy with midnight blue hair stepped up and received his Leaf headband from the hokage. He bowed to him and allowed his red eyes to remain on the ground. He was the oldest son of Kotetsu and Kurenai Hagane. Ren looked around to see if she could find the couple. She did and smiled when Kurenai's daughter from her first marriage, Mirai Sarutobi, was cheering for her little brother. It warmed Ren's heart and judging by the smile on Neji's face, it did the same to his.

"Hyuga Hideki," Naruto stated. Ren and Neji watched as their second son (named after Ren's father) made his way to the hokage and accepted his headband. Pride radiated off everyone that was there for the Hyuga boys. Their children were all doomed to be confused for each other and their parents. They all had white eyes, raven hair, and the same basic facial structure. Hideki had a scar across his nose, much like Iruka's, from a training accident. It was the only physical feature that set him apart from his siblings. "Hyuga Hizashi," Naruto called their first son (named after Neji's father).

Everyone clapped when all the new genin were announced. The kids all rushed to meet their parents. Hideki hugged his TenTen-obaa-san before anyone else while Hizashi shook Neji's hand. The two were twins but totally different in terms of personality. Hizashi was very closed off while Hideki was very affectionate, especially to his TenTen-obaa-san. "It's going to take them forever to get through all the students that are entering the ninja academy this year," Hideki whined.

"Hn," Hizashi grunted in agreement. "This will take some time."

Ren had been having contractions throughout the whole ceremony but the one that decided to occur at that moment had her gasping, sweating, and fighting to breathe through it. Neji allowed her to squeeze his hand, he'd been through this before and knew what to do now. Her grip was still as painful as it had been when she was in labor for Hizashi and Hideki.

"Is you otay, kaa-san," Akemi asked with a frown on her face. She looked as if she would cry at the sight of her mother's pain.

"I'm fine, Akemi. Your siblings will be here soon and my body is getting ready. It hurts but I'll be just fine. Don't worry. Let's watch the rest of the ceremony," Ren answered gently.

"Okaa-san's been through this before. Don't worry," Hizashi told his younger sister with a blank look on his face.

"That's right. It's going to be great. Soon we'll have two new brothers or sisters to love," Hideki exclaimed.

Neji picked up Akemi and put her on his shoulders to appease her. Asami squeezed TenTen's hand just a little tighter, making it clear that she was scared. TenTen did her best to reassure the young Hyuga girl. Hizashi and Hideki had both grabbed Ren's hands to offer support. Neji knew right away the two of them would regret it. He had married a kunoichi after all, her strength was nothing to laugh at. He watched as Ren fought the urge to squeeze their hands. It was strange. She never seemed the least bit regretful to try to break his hands. He smirked to himself. It was him who put her in that situation though so it was only fair he would be the one to feel the pain. He couldn't help it that his wife was irresistible. Clearly he was just as tempting because the two of them had made very beautiful children. "Hyuga Tomotsu, Hyuga Toshiaki, Keiko Inuzuka," Naruto's voice cut through his thoughts. He watched as his two sons and Kiba's cousin stepped up and bowed to the Hokage. His oldest sons had just become genin, his third and fourth sons were entering the academy to learn ninjutsu, his daughters were three years old and would start school in three years, and soon he would have two new bundles of joy. Life was good. Ren released Hideki and Hizashi's hands suddenly and doubled over. Mayumi, TenTen and Lee were by her side in a split second while Neji was standing back with four of his six children and LeeTen's three watching in horror.

Ren grabbed onto Lee like he was a life preserver and she was drowning. She yelped out in pain and then everything was quiet. It was the calm before the storm. Everyone was looking at Ren, even Naruto had stopped speaking. The children were all terrified and confused. Ren had her hands grasping Lee's forearms and her forehead was against his chest as she panted. TenTen rubbed small circles on Ren's back while Ren whimpered. "I think I need the hospital now," she strained out. Mayumi joined Neji to try to comfort the kids.

"Alright. Lee, TenTen, and Mayumi can you handle our brood," Neji asked as he handed Akemi to Mayumi. They nodded and he told his sons, "Look after your brothers and sisters. Okaa-san's going to have your new siblings today and I need you two to be the men around here while I'm with her. You'll get to see your new siblings as soon as possible." Hideki nodded and his expression turned from fear to determination. Hizashi's remained the same, emotionless mask it always was. Neji knew that was as good as he was going to get. He kissed each of his children on their foreheads, except Tomotsu and Toshiaki because they were still on the stage, and went to pry his wife off his green-clad friend. "Okay, Lotus-blossom, time to let go of the Handsome Green Devil of the Leaf," He told his wife.

She almost laughed at Neji's use of Lee's self-proclaimed nickname but settled for nodding. She removed one of her hands from Lee and gripped Neji's shoulder. He nearly winced in pain. This woman was going to break his body! He glanced at Lee. The bastard looked perfectly fine. "Must be all that muscle," Neji told himself. When Lee was free he squatted down in front of the children and began trying to distract them from the situation. The crowd had returned to its previous activities (the graduation ceremony). Neji couldn't tell if Ren was even breathing through her contractions. "Breathe, Ren. In through your nose, out through your mouth," he told her gently as he prepared to lift her up bridal style.

"This isn't my first rodeo, cowboy," Ren bit out as she wrapped her arms around Neji's neck. She didn't need him telling her what to do! She froze before she was actually holding onto him. "Uh," Ren muttered, "Neji… I… I think my water just broke…"

Neji looked down and frowned. Did that have to happen now? Sure enough he could see a small stream of liquid flowing down Ren's legs. "Okay let's get you to the hospital." He lifted her up bridal style. He didn't care that her skirt was riding up and giving people more of a show than either were comfortable with. He didn't care that he had amniotic fluid all over him now. He didn't care that he was missing the last of the graduation ceremony (he really did but told himself he didn't). What Neji did care about was breathing. Ren was making that very difficult because she was squeezing him so hard. He nodded to TenTen, Lee, Mayumi, and the children then took off. He noticed that everyone had been watching them but no one had made a move to be of assistance. "Bastards," Neji groaned inside his head.

Neji stood outside the hospital room his wife was currently sleeping in. Hiashi, Hanabi, Konohamaru (Hanabi's husband), Hinata, and Sasuke were sitting a little ways down the hall in the waiting room. Neji had just checked on Ren and was pleased to see how well she was doing. He would give her a little bit of time before bringing in her visitors. TenTen and Lee had 13 children in their house at that moment and Neji knew they would be wanting relief. It would be best to let Sasuke and Hinata visit first so that they could get back to their kids.

He rubbed his forehead and sighed. This pregnancy and delivery had taken so much out of his darling wife. It was only six in the evening and he already had two new bundles of joy added to his family. Her labor had progressed so quickly. He started walking down the hallway but stopped when he heard Ren calling out for him. He smiled, he just couldn't help it. She was acting like a baby herself. She didn't want him to leave her alone. He turned back and opened the door. "I'll be right back, lotus-blossom, I'm going to go get Sasuke and Hinata so they can head home or at least go assist our best friends with our brood."

"I really wish you wouldn't refer to them as a 'brood'. They're our children," Ren pouted as she stared at her husband's head peeking through the doorway. She watched him smirk and wished she felt like moving. She would've punched him. He still enjoyed getting her angry after nearly thirteen years of marriage. A sigh escaped her lips. She didn't want him to leave her though. "Hurry back," she whispered.

"I'll be just down the hall. Don't worry," he told her calmly.

He waited for her to nod then disappeared. She looked over at the two bassinets that held her new babies. She smiled as she watched them sleep. They looked so peaceful and so much like their siblings had. She had a habit of calling her children Neji's clones because they really were. Every part of them was their father, at least in her eyes. She was so distracted by the warmth in her heart that she didn't hear the door open. "Hello Ren," Hinata said softly as she approached the bed.

Ren turned to look at Hinata and smiled. "Hey 'Nata. How are you doing?" She glanced down at Hinata's four month baby bump. It was a baby boom all around Konoha. TenTen, Sakura, Ino, Hinata, and Hanabi were all pregnant. Shino, Sai, and Yamato were also expecting babies with their wives. Ren was happy to know that her twins would have countless friends to grow up with.

"I'm doing just fine. How are your babies," Hinata asked as she stepped closer to the bed. Sasuke hung back to watch the scene. It was unfortunate for Hinata and Neji that twins skip a generation and their fathers had been twins. Hinata had had two sets of twins and was expecting her third. It didn't seem to faze the Uchiha Avenger but Ren suspected that had something to do with him reviving his clan.

Ren wasn't feeling so fortunate about it. Her body could only take so much and she was sure now that she was done, she had said that before though. Eight children was six more than she had planned on having. She didn't regret it though, not for a second. She grinned with pride and sat up a little straighter before attempting to get out of the bed. "They're perfect," Ren told her younger cousin. She swung her legs off the side of the bed and felt a hand on her arm. She looked up expecting to see Neji but it was Sasuke. "Thank you Sasuke," She whispered as he helped her to her feet. He wasn't such a bad guy, in fact he was a really great one. He loved Hinata with his whole heart and extended the curtesy to her family, which included Ren and Neji.

"You're welcome," he told her flatly. She wasn't insulted, that was just how he was. He continued to help support her as she stepped over to the bassinets. She looked over her shoulder to see Hinata smiling at them. Ren nodded her head towards the babies and Hinata joined Ren and Sasuke there without hesitation. "They look just like the other Neji clones," Sasuke commented. Ren had most of her friends calling them that, at least behind Neji's back.

"They really do," Hinata giggled.

Ren chuckled and caressed the baby on the left's cheek. "This is Tobikuma. He's the older of the two. He was born only five minutes before his brother, Kenshin. The other 'Neji clones' haven't gotten to meet their baby brothers yet. You two are the first."

"Father is here with Konohamaru and Hanabi. They can't wait to meet them. They're so precious," Hinata gushed as she rubbed Kenshin's nose with her index finger. "I can't wait for ours. Mikoto and Itacho are getting too big for my liking. I don't know how you dealt with sending Hideki and Hizashi to the academy at first. I hope it's easier to accept with Daisuke and Tsuki. Was it easier for you with Tomotsu and Toshiaki?"

"It's never easy letting them go," Ren said gently, "but they're their own people and we can't keep them bound to us forever. They need to spread their wings and sore into their own destinies. All we can do is support them and help them up when they fall. It's really hard to let them grow up but watching them develop is worth the small pain we feel in our hearts. Hideki and Hizashi graduated to genin today and I didn't feel depressed that my babies were growing up, I felt proud. They're growing up to be fine young men, even if Hideki is a little goofy and Hizashi is a little closed off."

Hinata and Sasuke left shortly after arriving, promising to be around to help her if she needed it. Konohamaru had been nervous about holding Kenshin and Tobikuma but Hanabi had reminded him that he needed the practice. Hiashi had shown up with Shikamaru's mother, Yoshino (who had arrived sometime after Hanabi entered Ren's room), and they both gave their congratulations and well wishes. Neji had left to go retrieve their children. Ren was dozing when they came in and everyone was moving around so slowly and quietly.

"Can I lay with kaa-san," Asami asked her father sweetly.

"Me too, me too," Akemi requested.

The noise was enough to wake Ren. She opened her eyes and stared at the large group with a bright smile on her face.

"Kaa-san," Tomotsu exclaimed as the eight year old rushed over to her bedside and threw his arms around her.

"Hello, Tomotsu," Ren giggled as she wrapped her arms around him.

Hideki joined in the hug next followed by Toshiaki, Akemi, Asami, and finally (reluctantly) Hizashi. Neji smiled at the sight and threw himself into the mix. He loved his family so much. He had a beautiful wife, amazing children, was the head of his clan (because both of his cousins married into other clans), and the changes being made to it were helping everyone. Life was good, almost too good.

"I love you all so much," Ren told her children and husband as her eyes started to water.

"We love you too," they all responded. The volume was louder than anyone expected it to be and soon whimpers and whines started.

Neji turned to the little bundles of joy that were now crying. Akemi and Asami began to cry too, they didn't like the noise at all. Tomotsu and Toshiaki covered their ears and groaned. Hizashi remained blank and Hideki rushed over to his baby brothers to introduce himself. Ren and Neji shared a look. This part was not so perfect. Neji picked up Tobikuma and handed him to Ren then repeated the process with Kenshin. When both newborns were placed in their mother's arms (with Hideki still trying to calm them down with his words) Neji scooped up Akemi and Asami. "It's going to be okay. We just woke them up and scared them. Don't worry, they're fine," he told his daughters to try and comfort them.

"I no like them," Akemi wailed.

"I no like them either," Asami sobbed.

"Well you'll learn to love them," Neji consoled them.

Ren laughed a little as she rocked the newborns. "It's a love-hate thing," she announced with a mischievous gleam in her white eyes as she stared at her husband.

"Yes it is," he replied with a sinister grin.

Ren Note: So guys... that's it... we're done. What do you guys think? I really enjoyed writing this fic and I caught myself giggling like a school girl at random bits. I hope I kept Neji as in-character as possible. I'm happy to say that I now have one completed story on my profile. Now to finish All or Nothing... I don't know how you guys feel about Gaara but it's another Ren fic (one of many that will be coming out... in between SasuHina's, LeeTen's, NaruIno's, and so on... ) I'd really love to know what y'all thought. Happy reading!
