A/N: Osu! Hello there, everyone! Anywho, I recently watched Big Hero Six, and, needless to say, it amused me to no end. I wasn't entirely certain if there was a crossover of this or not-this is really the second one, actually since someone already wrote one-but I decided to give it a go, regardless. So then I thought, hey, what should I do for the pairing? Honey Lemon's...amusing, I suppose, but honestly? I like Go Go Tomago better. And yes, I'm going with what the comics said as to her name. Leiko Tanaka. Sounds better than Ethel, in my opinion.

Now...

...I sincerely hope you enjoy! And yes, this is based on the movie version! Sorry if its short, but this is only the beginning!

"Why do you keep messing with that stuff?"

"What stuff?"

"That. Those techno-molecule-thingies. You keep poking at 'em."

"Oh, this! Well, believe it or not, this "stuff" as you so bluntly put it, is going to get me out of this wheelchair, dattebayo!"

~Go Go Tomago and Uzumaki Naruto.

Need for Speed

Leiko Tanaka loved speed.

Not the drug-blech!-but virtual velocity as a whole.

There was just something so addictive about agility and the rush that came with it. Go Go Tomago-her nickname!-the name everyone called her by, said it all. She was fairly certain she was in love with acceleration as a whole, the sensation of pure, primal power that came with rapid movement as a whole. When she was moving like that she just felt...free. She couldn't have explained it better if she tried.

She was an adrenaline junkie, pure and simple.

It had been that way ever since she was a little girl. She'd gotten a taste of true speed one day, and that was it. She was...on. She was hooked. Finished. It became her life. Her love. Passion. Obsession. The same one that would chase her throughout her awkward years in school and into college.

San Fransokyo was practically a city of speed. Everything was all about speed here, from your basic back-alley bot fight to the afternoon commute. It revolved around it.

It was here that her agile ambitions pushed her to test the limits of that very thing every day.

Because Leiko had another reason to push the boundaries of acceleration than her own desires. Once she'd merely wanted to go fast, faster, fastest not just because she could; but because she wanted to. Now, she had a reason too, a need so intense that it threatened to obliterate all else.

Presently, she was failing.

Spectacularly.

The bike sputtered and died under her feet, the wheels squealing to a half with a jarring lurch. For a moment she just sat there, unable to believe what had just happened. Behind the anonymity of her helmet she felt an embarrassed flush crawl up the back of her neck, spreading into her cheeks. It was a simple mistake, she'd accelerated too fast and the wheels had overheated. A rookie mistake, one she never would've made had she'd been in her right mind.

"Darn it!" She swore, ripping a wheel free from the magnetic clamps, tossing yet another discus aside. Still not fast enough. Not yet.

"Another failure?"

She jerked around, her attentions split between the mag-bike and the unfortunate speaker. The squeak of wheels reached her ears as he rolled into view.

"I'll get it," she swore at him. "Just you wait."

"Have you tried adjusting the servos?" he suggested, blue eyes narrowing.

"Did that." the blackette muttered crossly. "Twice."

"Trimmed the frame?"

"If I trimmed it anymore, there wouldn't be a frame."

"Well, have you tried loosening up for once?"

"Did-NARUTO!"

"Bahahaha! Priceless!" He ducked nimbly when she swiped at him, using the thrusters in his chair to dart out of the way with a laugh. She grabbed a beaker and tossed it at him; to her surprise, he nimbly caught it and set it down at his desk without so much as a second glance. Odd. He shouldn't be that fast. Go Go frowned.

"Hey," she started after him. "You're not using those nanobots again, are you?"

He looked up from his work, a faint sheen flashing on his right arm. "Pretty cool, right? My reaction time's at least twice that of a normal human now. See?" In a blink he'd flung a fresh piece of gum at her; she caught it deftly in her mouth, slightly surprised.

Go Go felt her frown deepen as she chewed. "You know that's not safe."

"Hey, I coded them myself," he replied, placing a thing pane of glass beneath a nearby microscope. "They're not going to hurt me unless I give the say so."

She punched him in the arm, trying not to think of the countless number of bots latched onto his cells.

"Idiot."

Pearly whites flashed back at her in a sly smile.

"Love you too, Go Go."

Naruto wasn't much to look at unless you counted appearance; his bright blue eyes, sandy/spiky blond hair and whiskered cheeks made him stand out in just about any crowd. She fought down a flinch, refusing to let a glimmer of sympathy show. He'd had legs, once, legs like hers. They'd chased each other through the park as children, playing hide-and-seek. It seemed like such a long time ago. Before college. Before the accident. An eternity ago, when it was only a few years.

Now, she was pushing the boundaries of acceleration and he, her best friend, was confined to a wheelchair. He was focused on improving the human body, while she just wanted speed. The irony wasn't lost on Leiko. It was for his sake, however, that she pursued the goal. If a human body could move fast enough, then maybe, just maybe-

-but no, it was still just a theory. In his current state he'd need a suit, a very fast moving suit, if he ever wanted to walk again. And maker, she wanted him to walk again.

He needed someone to help him dress everyday, to bathe. She didn't. He needed a ramp or an elevator if he wanted to go upstairs. She didn't. And yet, despite this, despite losing his entire family in that horrible act of depravity, he still managed to come to class everyday. Still smiled. GoGo wasn't sure she could do that. If Sasuke-another student-wasn't there to take care of him, he probably would be a mess, too.

Thankfully, the accident that'd left the blond paralyzed might have crippled his body but not his mind. If anything it made him work even harder.

He was determined to find a way to walk again, and when-not if!- he did, she was just as determined to be there for him.

"Say, pass me that tube, will you?"

She cast an aggravated eye on the various fluids and the like, ranging from red to blue. "Which one?"

"Red."

Upon doing so he swiftly downed it. Then he started choking. She grabbed at him, fearing the worst.

"What're you doing?!"

"What? Its just an energy drink."

She shoved him. "That sure as hell didn't look like one!"

"Sheesh, I was just joking ya know...

Go Go stifled a smile. "You are an idiot. You know that, right?"

"Am not." He wheeled away, turning his attention to the next project, a cube containing molten, superheated metal. "Torch, please."

Wordlessly, she handed it to him, watching as he set about heating it anew, forcing the metal into the shape he desire. Pulling the superheated cube free and cradling it in a gloved hand, he spun back to the microscope, forcing her to follow.

"Hello?" she poked him in the cheek. "You didn't answer my first question. You do realize you're crazy and this'll probably never work, right?"

"Maybe." Naruto muttered, still peering through the microscope, "But geniuses are often called idiots until the succeed." Another adjustment whittled away while she stared at him-refusing to admit just how much a part of her like the stubborn set of his jaw-the way she secretly ached to run a hand through that messy mop he called hair.

Ah, what the hell...

"Hmm. That feels nice." He hummed softly when she finally did so, not seeming to mind the way her fingers threaded into his scalp. From there they worked their way down to his neck. By the time they closed upon the tense lines of his shoulders and attacked the knots there, he was audibly purring. She took that opportunity to press him again, squeezing his free hand.

"So..do you think it'll work?"

"Who knows?" he set the torch down and took off the goggles, exposing the bright blue eyes that secretly made her heart race. "If I get this down properly, I'll be able to walk...maybe? If it does, I might even be able to make a few modifications to your bike as well. Just think of it, a creation of pure speed powered by thought, reacting on its own to your every whim...

She grinned.

"Go Go likes."

His crooked smirk matched hers. "I thought you would. Now let me see this bike of yours...aha! What kind of feedback matrix is this?! No wonder its so slow!"

Sighing she followed after him, after his smile.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming...

In her heart, Go Go Tomago was quietly determined to preserve that smile for a very, for a very long time. If she had to do the most depraved things to see it she would, if she had to descend into the darkest depths of madness she would. If she had to steal and scrape and struggle for the funding, she would. Because she wanted to see that smile everyday, see him walking beside her. Every. Day. He was the reason she wanted speed -the physical need for it- made manifest in him. In that smile.

And she would preserve it...

...whatever the cost.

A/N: And there you have it! Naruto and Sasuke as normal, everyday characters, only smart as hell. Or in Naruto's case, determined as hell, I suppose. The idea of making him a paraplegic just sort of came to me, in the sense that everyone has these amazing talents, and all Naruto has is a boneheaded determination. It is implied that Naruto and Go Go care for one another, they're just really focused on their respective careers, that, and getting him out of the wheelchair.

And YES the nanobots are different from Hiro's microbots! Not the same! Naruto's are internalized, whilst Hiro's are externalized. They can make his body do amazing things...but at cost, stressing his body to the breaking point. And with the preview, you'll see what I mean.

As to Go Go herself and whether she'll become a villain in this, well...

...we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

So...in the Immortal Words of Atlas...

...Review...Would You Kindly...? And of course, enjoy the preview! And yup, I pay homage to a certain Marvel character in this:

(Preview!)

Naruto gulped, his hands locking around the handles of his chair.

Well here goes nothing...
