Summary: Juvia can't skate in the ice for the life of her… right?

"Woahh!" Juvia said while she crashed on the ice for the fifth time.

Her legs wobbled while she tried to stand and push herself forward, "Juvia can do this, Juvia can do this" she chanted while trying to balance herself.

*smash*

It didn't work.

"oi Juvia do you need any help?" asked Gray as he pulled her to her feet.

"Don't worry Gray-sama, Juvia doesn't want to bother you" she said while holding onto him for balance.

"Its not a bother, here let me teach you the basics" he proceeded to stand in front of her holding her shoulders "the key is to keep your balance on your legs, and use your hips to move yourself forward" he explained cheerily.

"U-use Juvia's hips?" she wondered while dangerously leaning into Juvialand.

"Yeah, just lean one side while pushing that leg forward and then do the same with the other side" he then released her gently "ok try doing it", she proceeded to lean to the side as told trying to maintain her balance, after a couple inches she exclaimed excitedly "Juvia's doing it! Gray-sama look! Juvia is do-" *wham!* "Juvia was doing it."

She sat in the floor looking down "Sorry Gray-sama, maybe Juvia's just not meant to skate in the i- GRAY-SAMA!" she yelled surprised when she was pulled from the floor and placed to his side "Don't said that, look everybody is having a good time here, if you can't skate you grab my side and we'll skate together okay?" "okay Gray-sama" she responded between dream and reality.

Later that day

"Quite a show you put out there" said Gajeel smirking as he sat beside Juvia on the bench.

"What does Gajeel-kun mean?" she said innocently.

"Woman don't try to fool me, I know you like the back of my hand, and if I remember correctly 9 years ago we took a job undercover and you replaced a girl in a play on ice" he said looking at her in the eyes.

"that was just a ittle thing, didn't need much movement" she said trying to downplay her role.

He responded unimpressed "You were the freaking swan Vi, and you taught me how to ice skate remember?"

"yeah that went better than when Juvia taught you to cook remember?"

"it was a little fire Vi nothing too serious" he said trying to downplay it.

"Gajeel-kun" she said seriously "your kitchen exploded, you ended up eating the remains of your oven while Juvia ordered a pizza, it was a miracle that you learned eventually" she said

"And besides Juvia is a little bit rusty Gajeel-kun" she said getting up and approaching the frozen lake

"Um Gray-sama can you help Juvia into the lake?" she asked fearfully looking at the ice. "Sure, come here" he responded keeping her balanced while she woobled into the ice "thanks, Juvia can try going around alone, you don't have to force yourlsef to be here" she said smiling softly. "its not a problem, look you can barely stand, lets go together I enjoy your company" he said placing his arm around her shoulder. "thanks Gray-sama , Juvia is really enjoying herself" she said while turning her head to the side and winking at Gajeel.

"she has him right where she wants" said levy casually as she leaned on the bench.

"you know what she's doing?" he asked "anyone with eyes can see it Gajeel, Mira and Erza are taking pictures while they skate" was her response. "I'm sure as hell the stripper doesn't see it", - "well I love Gray like a brother but he can be an idiot sometimes" Gajeel stared at her "okay most of the times, come on why are you sitting here? Let's join the fun" -"not in the mood right now" "suit yourself" was all she said as she advanced in the lake *smash*… and crashed in the floor. "oi shrimp if you don't know how to skate don't go trying to be a pro on your first time" he said as he approached her and helped her to her feet. "don't worry I can handle myself" was her not so reassuring response as she lost her balance and clung to Gajeel's arm in order to avoid the floor. "jeez shrimp, okay I'll teach you the basics, first you want to keep yer balance on your legs and…"

Yeah Gray wasn't the only idiot there.
