"Venomoth, pin missile!" yelled Koga in desperation.
"Counter with bone rush," comanded Satoshi quietly. Lucario then proceeded to form a long, bone like staff with his two paws. Using it, he deflected each pin missile back at the Venomoth, then rushed it, leaped into the air, then hurled back down at venomoth, staff in hand, knocking it out swiftly as he landed softly on the ground.
"Venomoth is unable to battle, making the victor of this match Satoshi at a score of 6 active Pokemon to 6 fainted ones, which means Satoshi will be moving on to the next round!" yelled a referee. Cheers and screams blasted the stadium as Satoshi and Lucario withdrew from the battlefield.
"Thank you Nurse Joy, I hope to have my Pokemon up and running again within the hour if that's fine with you?"
"Of course Mr. Satoshi, and congratulations on your match against Koga by the way."
"Thank you Nurse Joy." Ash then made his way to a nearby couch to take a quick break after arriving back at the Pokemon center after returning from his match. After a few minutes, Brock and a few others walked into the Pokemon Center, exhausted from the battle. "So how'd it go?" questioned Ash plainly.
Brock looked up to find Satoshi sitting at his right, then beamed and spoke. "I was barely able to beat Cilan, and Clemont also barely won his match. As for the other two, Misty won and is off watching a battle between Crasher Wake and Gardenia right now. Cilan was called back to Unova and Iris decided to go with, so you won't be seing them anymore. Oh, and Serena's battle is going on right now."
"Congratulations to the two of you then," spoke Satoshi silently. He stood up silently and began walking out of the Pokemon Center.
"Going somewhere?" asked Clemont curiously.
"I think I'll go watch one of the matches," spoke Satoshi, and off he went.
"Delphox, use mystical fire!" yelled Serena. Delphox proceeded to follow it's trainer's command, succesfully finishing off it's opponent.
"Venasaur is unable to battle, making Serena the victor, which means she'll be moving on to the next round at a score of 5 fainted pokemon against 6 fainted ones." The referee raised the flag in his right arm as cheers erupted at Serena. She made her way to the center of the battlefield, where Shauna sat crouched against her Venusaur.
"You did great Venusaur, return and take a good long rest," spoke Shauna quietly as she returned her partner pokemon back to it's pokeball.
"You were great Shauna, I hope we get to battle again soon," said Serena as she approached Shauna.
She stood up. "Thanks Serena, you were great too! Ash would be proud..." she smiled sadly at Serena, only for it to be mirrored back at her. They bothe then made their way off of the battlefield, Shauna exiting out of one side while Serena exited out the other end.
"That was a great battle, I'm impressed," spoke a voice. Serena slightly jumped out of surprise, then turned around to find Satoshi leaning against the stadium wall dressed in a dark blue cloak with his hood on. Uncrossing his arms, he walked towards her.
"Oh, Satoshi, thanks! It was probably nothing in comparison to your battle though, she spoke." Ash smiled slightly. "Thanks," he simply replied as the two of them began walking back to the pokemon center.
The two remained silent while walking, though Serena began thinking to herself. *I'm getting a wierd sense of De ja vu... why does Satoshi feel so familiar, like I've met him before... It feels so nostalgic, but it feels so good too...*
Meanwhile, at another location...
"Doctor, do you have anything to report?"
"Yes sir, we've already sent units to defeat and capture targets Alpha and Omega. Beta and Gamma are also fighting again, little still remains known about target Delta, we're still investigating it."
"And the chosen one?"
"We believe we have finally found him. We've already planned an attack after his next match."
"Good, soon we will have all the targets in our hands, and the chosen one will be powerless to o anything against it. Everything is going according to plan... inform me if any of the current situations change doctor."
"Of course sir..."
I know it's been a very long time and I realize that this chapter was short, poorly written, and choppy. I apologize for that, I've just been really busy lately and I kind of forgot about this... anyways, I'll try updating this a little more often, and thank you for all of you who have stuck with me so far. -The Aura Guardian
