There was a party soon after Gregg appeared, and people were hugging and chatting with him. Though some people did stand to one side and murmured amongst themselves, for they remembered the people that Gregg had killed while he was thought of as the Babadook.

Gregg saw these people and asked Adam if he could make a speech. Adam agreed and stood in the centre of the gathering. "Hey, everyone," he started, and people turned to listen to him. "I'm sure we're all feeling excited as to Gregg's return, and we are pleased to have him back. But right now he wants to talk to you all in a speech. Gregg?" He asked, and passed the microphone to him.

Gregg nodded and took the mike. "Thanks, Adam," he said, before addressing the rest of the circus folk. "I want to thank you all for never giving up on me. I also want you to know I'm still very much sad about the people you told me I killed when I was a monster. I want you to know I think of those people everyday and deep down at the bottom of my heart, I'm so terribly, terribly sory. I will never forget them," he said, and some of the people in the tent nodded understandingly.

Amelia tried to listen to the speech, but Sam was playing up. She knew he was tired and wanted to go to sleep, so she shushed him quietly. "It's okay, Sam. We'll go to bed soon. Just hold on," she murmured, and picked Sam up so he could hold him in her arms.

"So once again, I want to thank each and everyone of you, and I promise, I will never get hooked on the dark magic again," he said. There was silence before Gregg said, "Thank you," and he handed the mike to Adam. "OK," Adam said. "Let's give it up for Gregg," he said, and the tent was filled with applause, much to Gregg and Penny's relief.

Gregg smiled at Penny and Penny smiled back before kissing him. At this point the crowd cheered for them before the party carried on. Amelia went over to Penny and Gregg. "Nice speech, Gregg," she told him, and Gregg smiled. "Thanks," he told her as he held Penny in his arms.

"Hey," Adam said to Amelia, who smiled shyly at him again. "Hey," she said, and they smiled at each other. Then Amelia remembered why she was there. Sam had fallen asleep in her arms. "I'm here because I need to go with Sam now, we need to go home, as he's pretty tired," she said. "Stay here," Penny offered. "Stay here with us tonight. You can stay in mine and Gregg's trailer," she added.

Amelia looked at her, surprised but pleased. "Really? Thank you for the kind offer, but we don't want to be any trouble," she told them. "It's no trouble. Please, it's the least we could do, after you bought Gregg back to us," Penny said, as she squeezed her husband's hand.

Adam took the opportunity to lay a comforting hand on Amelia's shoulder. "Yeah. She's right. It's no problem. Although I do have more room in my trailer for this little guy," he told her, and Penny grinned. She knew Adam liked Amelia, and she didn't want to get in their way. "Yeah, come to think of it, Adam's trailer is bigger than ours. Why don't you stay with him tonight, Amelia?" Penny asked.

Amelia found herself blushing furiously again. "Well, if it's no trouble," she said, and Adam grinned, as he too, blushed. "Sure. Come on. I'll take you there now, and we can put this little man to bed," he said.

"OK. Night, guys," Amelia said. "Night," Penny and Gregg said teasingly. "We're up at 7am, so we'll see you guys tomorrow morning," Gregg called after them as they made their way through the party and outside to Adam's trailer.
