"Did something happen Rin?" Teto asked as she set down a plate of food in front of her. Rin lifted her head and tilted it. "Hm? What do you mean?" She questioned in confusion.
"You've been spacing out since yesterday." Gumi remarked as she nodded in thanks to Teto when she set down another plate then sat down next to her. "It was kind creepy so we can't help but wonder."
Rin looked down at her food in silence. She wondered if she should tell them about Len. Well, its not like she was doing anything wrong. Its perfectly fine.
"Well..." She began. "I made a new friend."
Gumi chocked on her carrot juice and Teto froze, causing the piece of bacon to dangle helplessly between her chopsticks. The two turned to Rin as if she just created a miracle or something. Rin began to shuffle uncomfortably on her seat at the intense stares she was receiving. "W-What?"
"Gumi-chan, did I just hear that, right?" Teto said as she tapped on Gumi's shoulder. "Did our Rinny just said she made a new friend?"
"I'm not sure Teto." Gumi mused. "I think Rin said what we think she said but I'm too worried to be sure."
"What are you guys talking about?" Rin looked at them with puzzled look. Teto and Gumi then grabbed each other's hands and comically began to tear up. "No way. Our awkward, loud mouthed, tsundere best friend has just made a friend! I'm so proud of her." Teto dramatically began to sob.
"I know! The idiotic, childish, flat chested Rinny has made a friend besides us! Now we can be in peace!" Gumi said as she wiped away imaginary tears from her eyes.
"I'm so glad!"
"Me too!"
"...You guys are such jerks." Rin deadpanned as she stared at the overly theatrical scene in front of her. Yeah sure, she's ll admit. She wasn't a social butterfly but that doesn't mean her so-called best friends could act like she just did something amazing in human history.
"Sorry, sorry." Teto sheepishly laughed. "We couldn't help but act like this."
"Yeah." Gumi agreed with a grin. "You don't usually talk with others besides me and Teto so we were a little happy for you. I mean you getting a boyfriend was shocking enough but to make a friend on your own without us is really surprising."
Rin flinched slightly at the word 'boyfriend' and looked down with a slightly troubled look. "I...I don't think its that special." She muttered softly. "Besides it shouldn't even be surprising for me to have a friend or two. I mean I got you guys."
"Making friends with others besides us is a different matter, Rinny." Teto said. "Anyways who's this new friend you made? Is it someone we know?"
Rin paused for a moment at that. She wondered if she should tell them about Len. Well, he is a friend but she wasn't sure how these two react. Perhaps they do know who Len is.
With what happened yesterday, she was certain that Len was popular enough for them to know who he is, especially Teto. "Maybe." Rin responded. This perked Gumi and Teto's interest. "Really? Who is this person then?" Gumi said.
Rin opened her mouth to answer when the doorbell rang.
Ding Dong Ding Dong
The three girls blinked at the sudden disturbance. "I'll get it." Rin announced as she stood up and walked out of the kitchen. She sighed as she made her way to the front door. Honestly, how can they act as though she did something unbelievable? He was just a friend she made by chance.
"Seriously. They are overreacting about it." She grumbled to herself as she reached for the handle and open the door. "Who is-" She immediately froze when she saw who it was.
"Good morning, Rin." Kaito smiled gently at Rin. Rin gaped for a moment at the sight of him. "W-What are you doing here?" She blurted.
"I just thought I should come over and walk you to school." Kaito replied before he bashfully scratched his cheek. "And I wanted to see your face early in the morning."
Rin felt her stomach flop at how adorable he was acting. Kaito was usually the sweet and mature type but the sight of him acting so shy was too much for Rin to handle. Rin smiled. "T-Thank you Kaito, but you didn't have to-"
"Rin? Who was it?" Rin yelped and jumped in surprise when Teto suddenly questioned over her shoulder. Teto blinked and brightened. "Oh! Shion-sama! Its been awhile!" She exclaimed excitedly. Kaito smiled awkwardly at the way Teto was acting towards him. "Um Hello, Kasane-san. It has been awhile."
"So how have you been?" Teto asked. "Are you here to see Rinny here?"
"Actually yes, I am." Kaito said and Teto squealed like a fangirl. Rin wanted to crawl under a rock as Teto began to giggle and swoon. Teto had been a fan of Kaito for quite sometime now and wholeheartedly has supported him and Rin ever since she found out about their relationship.
Teto had told Rin numerous not to let someone like Kaito get away because of how handsome and cool he was. A part of Rin felt guilty since she couldn't tell Teto about her other relationship but a part of her...was glad that Teto approved to Kaito so much.
"Rin-chan! What are you standing there for?" Teto pouted as she waved a hand in front of Rin's face. Rin broke out of her thoughts and turned to her. "Huh?"
"Geez Rin, don't daydream now." Teto sighed before whispering into Rin's ear. "I understand that you have an insanely hot boyfriend but you shouldn't just stand there in a daze right now, okay?"
Rin turned bright red and lightly bumped her shoulder into Teto's. "Shut up." She muttered. She glanced over to Kaito who smiled awkwardly at them and Rin blushed lightly. Well, even though they have been dating for a while, she can't help but still feel a little shy being around Kaito which is not like Rin at all.
"Hey, what's taking you two so long?" Gumi said as she stepped out of the kitchen. Rin immediately froze at the sound of her voice.
Gumi blinked when she saw who was at the door. "Shion-san?" She uttered and Kaito smiled slightly at her. "Good morning Megpoid-san. Long time no see."
Gumi approached the three with a confused look on her face. "Um yeah sooo...what are you doing here if you don't mind me asking?"
Kaito was about to respond but Teto rolled her eyes with a snort. "Isn't it obvious? He's here for Rinny." Gumi arched her brows in surprise. "Rin-chan? What for?" Gumi glanced over to Rin for an explanation. Rin opened and closed her mouth repeatedly, obviously speechless.
Before Rin could come up with something to say, Teto immediately stepped in. "Huh? I thought you already knew. Shion-sama is-"
Rin loudly yelled and slapped her hand over Teto's lips. "It's nothing, Gumi!" She exclaimed. "Don't worry about it!"
Teto muffled something behind Rin's hand but Rin ignored it as she grinned nervously at Gumi. Gumi looked at her suspicious then glanced over to Kaito at the corner of her eye then back at Rin. She then finally let out a loud sigh. "Right." She said and turned to Kaito with an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry for letting you waiting, Shion-san but you see Rin hasn't exactly ate her breakfast yet so I hope it isn't too much trouble..."
"Oh! Is that so..." Kaito responded but then smile. "Well, if that's the case then I could just-"
Teto immediately wrestled out of Rin's grasp and exclaimed. "Wait!" She then grabbed Rin by the shoulders and pushed her towards Kaito. "You don't have to go! You two could just go right now!"
"W-Wha-?" Rin stuttered as her cheeks turned bright red. Gumi and Kaito looked surprised at this. "Teto, Rin has barely ate anything just no-"
"Shion-sama can just get her something from the nearby store or something!" Teto said. "Don't ruin this chance Gumi! Just let them go together! Let their romance flourish more!"
"Huh? What are you talking abo-"
"Ahhhh! Okay! That's enough Teto!" Rin yelled as panic set off deep within her. "We get it! Okay! No need to explain even further!"
Rin quickly walked past the two and in the kitchen to grab her bag. She paused for a moment before she sighed heavily. Teto can sometimes say too much than needed but Rin had made Teto promise to not to say anything about her relationship with Kaito. She sincerely hoped Teto would keep her promise on that.
Rin turned and left the kitchen, moving towards the door. "I'll see you guys at school, alright?" She said, looking at the two females over her shoulder. Teto vigorously nodded her head as she gave her a thumbs up. Gumi on the other hand, wasn't as energetic as Teto as she waved goodbye but she had a worried look on her face.
The expression on Gumi's face made Rin's heart sink as she turned and looked up at Kaito who just smile. Rin couldn't help but smile back, feeling her heart lift just a tiny bit at the comforting look Kaito had.
The two stepped out of the house and Rin shut the door behind her. She sighed heavily and Kaito looked down at Rin with concern. "Is something wrong?"
Rin lifted her head and shook her head. "No, its nothing." She then smiled and grabbed his hand, entwining their fingers together. "Let's go?"
Kaito blinked but then smiled gently as he softly squeezed her hand. suddenly the thought of Mikuo kept poking in the back of her mind but she tried to ignore it as best as she could. For now...maybe she shouldn't think so much about it.
"Len-kun." A soft voice called out. Len grumbled softly, rolling to his side. Before he could fall back asleep, a hand grabbed his shoulder and shook him gently. "Come on Len, its time to get up."
Len mumbled something but still refused to open his eyes. "Len-kun, geez get up. Its morning already." The sound of the curtains being pulled open echoed in the room and light immediately flooded inside.
Len groaned loudly as the light shone on his face. He pulled the covers over his head. "Lenny, wake up." The shaking continued and Len groaned. "I don't want to..." He mumbled tiredly.
"Geez Len, its a school day you can't skip it again." The voice lightly scolded. Len huffed tiredly. "I don't want to. I'm too tired." He whined and the voice sighed. "Lenny~ Time to get up sweetie." The voice said. Len simply ignore it. "I guess all these bananas I bought would just go to waste then."
Len paused and sat up from his bed. He blinked once then twice as his vision adjusted to the light coming from the window and he soon realize the person in front of him was a certain teal haired female who stared down at him with a pout. Her hands were on her hips, in one of them was a plastic bag with perhaps that heavenly fruit.
"Miku? What are you doing here?" Len couldn't help but ask. Miku huffed. "Is it wrong to come to my boyfriend's place once in awhile to wake him up?" She sighed before offering the plastic bag to him. "Here. Your favorite." She said. "I knew you'd never get out of bed without something to convince you so I got you these."
Len's eyes brightened as he took the plastic bag and he mumbled his thanks. Miku then smiled cheerfully. "Well then, darling you should get dressed while make some breakfast for us! Okay~!" She sang as she skipped out of his bedoom.
Len blinked a couple of times as Miku left the room. He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. He really didn't expect to see Miku here in his apartment, normally it was Neru who would come by so this was a little new for him.
He looked down at the plastic bag and smiled slightly. Miku was a really kind girl...she was too good for someone like him...
He then stilled when he realized something and paled drastically. Miku was in the kitchen...Miku was in his kitchen to cook something for him but-
"Wait! Miku!" He yelled as he struggled to get out of his bed. "You don't have to cook for me! Its fine! So please don't do anything!" He finally stumbled out of bed and dashed out of the door to save his kitchen...and his stomach.

Len winced slightly as he sat on his dining table and stared down at his plate. He was too late and now he had to pay the price.
In front of him was...charcoal? At least that was how it looked like since it was way too burned for him to comprehend what kind of food Miku made for him. It was so dark that Len was worried that it might turn to ash if he poked it...a part of him sincerely hope it does.
Miku seemed oblivious to this as she sat across him with a huge smile on her face. "Well, hope you enjoy Lenny~"
Len stared down at it and grabbed a fork. He stabbed the stone like object and lifted it up to inspect it. "Thanks Miku um..." He began as he stared at the burned square like food on his fork. "Is this...toast?"
"Eh? You're so silly Lenny." Miku giggled. "Its bacon and eggs." Len sweatdropped at this then glanced down at the so-called food. "Um...right."
He wasn't sure whether or not to eat it but he didn't want to be rude to her...especially the way Miku was staring at him so intently that it hurts.
Len smiled warily as he tried to think of some kind of excuse to save his stomach. He loves Miku but he didn't want die too soon.
"Hmmm? Well, look what we have here." Len felt a hand suddenly grab his shoulder and he looked up to Rinto looking his shoulder. He appeared to have just woken up judging from his looks and his hair was in a bird nest style and had bedhead which Len would normally laugh at but not at the moment.
"Rinto..." That's right. He completely forgot that Rinto had stayed over last night. Len couldn't help but feel slightly unease since his best friend was now in front of one of his girlfriends. He knew they somewhat met but still...that doesn't really put his mind at ease.
"Morning Len." Rinto yawned and his gaze lifted up to Miku. "And good morning..." He paused for a second. "Hatsune-san?"
Miku smiled. "Good morning Shimoda-san*. How are things going?"
"Doing pretty good." Rinto responded as he moved to take a seat next to Len. "I've been managing well and how about you, Hatsune-san?"
"Oh! I'm great! Thanks for asking." Miku grinned. "By the way what are you doing here in Len-kun's apartment?"
"Meh, I just slept over since poor Len here lives all alone and since I'm so kind hearted, here I am." Rinto joked and Miku laughed. "Well, what a great friend you have, Len-kun."
"No, actually-" Len responded but Rinto immediately cut in. "Anyways Hatsune-san, what is a lovely lady like you doing here as well?"
"Oh, I just thought of waking up Len and going to school together since lately he had be missing school a lot."
"Ah that's true. You're really nice Hatsune-san. This guy here can barely take care of himself and to have such a beautiful lady like you care for this workaholic is a miracle itself."
"Shimoda-san, you're embarrassing me! I only want what's best for my sweetheart after all."
"Uwaah, that's really cute."
Len just sat there in the background as the two seem to have to cheerful conversation with each other. Those two are really getting along well...maybe a bit too well. Len felt himself frown at the sight of them as an uncomfortable feeling swelled in his chest.
Len then placed down his fork with a loud clink, causing the two to stop and turn to him. "Okay that's enough..." Len suddenly cut in. "You two are pretty noisy in the morning." Rinto raised a brow at this while Miku sheepishly scratched the back of her head. "Ehehe sorry about that."
Len then stood up. "I'm just going to get changed for school."
"Eh? But what about your breakfast?" Miku questioned and Rinto placed a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, Hatsune-san." He said. "This isn't the first time he has done this but he just eat a fruit or two later."
"But-" Miku tried to protest but Len already began to leave the room. As he entered his room, he sighed heavily and ran a hand through his hair. What is he doing? Getting jealous over something as simple as that...that was so uncool of him. He probably made Miku worry just now but he couldn't help it.
He then groaned and rubbed his face in frustration before he walked over to his closet. Perhaps a quick shower would help him clear his mind.

Len stepped out of his room, feeling fresh and was dressed in his uniform. He looked to see Rinto and Miku still talking to each other at the table but the atmosphere around them seem a little...off. Len tried to ignore it and walked over to them.
Miku was the first to notice him and stood up with a grin. "Are you ready to go now, Lenny?" She asked. Len smiled gently and nodded. Miku nodded back then looked down at Rinto with a smile. "Well, it was nice talking to you Shimoda-san."
Rinto smiled. "You too, Hatsune-san." Miku then looked back to Len and grinned brightly. "So let's go now, darling?" She said, wrapping her arms around his. Len glanced over to Rinto who just stared at him with a sympathetic smile on his face.
Len frowned slightly but said nothing as Miku tugged him to the front door. Rinto sat there for a few minutes until he heard the front door close.
Rinto breathed out heavily and leaned back against his chair. He thought back at the conversation he had with Miku a few minutes ago.
"He's angry at me, isn't he?" Miku muttered the moment Len left the room.
"No, he's not angry at you." Rinto said. "Its more like...he's jealous."
"Jealous?" Miku repeated as if surprised but then she giggled softly. "That's really cute...and really nice to know." She said. Rinto smiled a bit.
"So about the thing we talked about. You know the job thing." Miku began. "Oh yeah. I already told my manager about it. He said Len could come to start any time he wants." Rinto explained. Miku's eyes brightened and she clapped her hands with glee. "That's awesome! I'm really happy for Len."
"Yeah, its a good thing there was an opening and that you talked to me about it." Rinto said. Miku then laughed. "Well, I'm happy I managed to help Len in a way." She grinned but then a sudden melancholic look appeared on her face. "Its the least I could do..."
Rinto stared at Miku for a moment and wondered whether he should ask her or not. She seems like a really nice and sweet girl but the look on her face told Rinto that maybe, just maybe she was aware of something which worried Rinto a bit.
"Hatsune-san..." Rinto began, unable to stay quiet anymore. Miku lifted her head and Rinto opened his mouth but then paused. It wasn't really his place to tell right? He knew he shouldn't get involved with this and he was just going to cause more trouble if he mentioned anything about Len's trouble love life.
Rinto thought about it for a moment. "H-How would feel if Len was with someone else?" He knew this was a stupid question but he couldn't stop his curiosity. Miku blinked in surprised but then looked slightly troubled. "Umm..."
"I-I'm sorry!" Rinto immediately said. "It's none of my business..."
"Well..." Miku softly started. "I can't really say much but..." She paused. "I just want Len to be happy since a lot of things have happened to him..."
Rinto can't deny that but he let Miku continue. She rubbed her arm as she looked down on the table with a sad look in her eyes."Beside..." She smiled sadly as she spoke. "I already know...he doesn't love me as much as I do..."
Rinto sighed heavily. "Damn Len..." He muttered to himself. "You and your complicated relationships..."
Now he doesn't know who to feel more sorry to. Len or the girls that fell for him.
Rinto sighed once more and stood up to get himself some coffee. He knew he shouldn't get too involve with this. He wanted to help Len as much as possible but...even he can't help him in some things.
Rinto stretched as he began making his coffee. He just hoped that Len would work things out sooner or later...and hoped that Len doesn't add more problems to his already complicated romance...
A/N: Hello everyone! Its been awhile since I updated one of my stories and its been awhile since I updated this story. My, how time flies so fast.

*I based Rinto's last name on the voice actress of Rin and Len (as well as Rinto and Lenka), Asami Shimoda. I really like her voice so I thought why not? X3
Well, there isn't much to say, except a bit of a spoiler (if it can be called like that), the chapter will have even more drama and a little bit of a twist, okay?
