At this time the sun had nearly set, and the garden was quiet besides the babbling fountain and singing birds.

"Come on Anna." Elsa whispered giddily, pulling her little sister towards the fountain. 'She's definitely excited about this' She gasped as one baby goose waddled out from behind a nearby bush. The wonder and awe in her blue eyes made Anna curious.

"Elsa...have you ever seen them up close before?" The princess asked softly, putting own her hand out for the little fluffball to hop onto. Her sister shook her head in amazement, 'It's like she's seeing a kitten for the first time.'

Anna smiled sadly as she realized Elsa probably hadn't experienced that either. They hadn't had any pets as children, so she had an idea of introducing Elsa to the adorable world of baby animals.

She proceeded to pet it's head with her finger, before motioning towards the goose with her head. "Els, here." The queen hesitantly put her hands out and gaped when it hopped into her hands.

A tiny squeak of adoration left her throat as she reached to touch his head. "Aw, you're all so precious. As your queen, I will make sure you are all kept very safe." She kissed it's head softly before gently letting it down. Gasping at the other few that appeared.

"Anna, can we keep them?" Elsa asked as she kissed the second one on the head. "Bye-bye Bobby." Her eyes grew wet with tears as it honked. "We're keeping them."

'She's going to have an aneurysm.' Her sister thought as Elsa moved onto the third.

"No Elsa we can't, they're always out here though...except for the Winter." Anna chuckled, freezing as she saw a bare leg.

'What?! Oh boy... she loves the geese a little too much.'

"Bye-bye Debbie." She said in a baby voice giggling as it honked back and fluttered down.

"Elsa your dress melted." Anna said with a blush as she began to laugh. Elsa looked down in doubt, quickly forming a new one as her face turned red.

"That's embarrassing, I see I need to work on that too." She frowned in confusion Thankfully Anna had convinced her to wear a cloak, it would have been far too embarrassing if she hadn't.

"Okay so we should warn them to hide for the next day...but how?" Anna asked her sister as she picked up the smallest goose chick. "Hi Frank, Gerald that mean man from earlier threatened to hurt your family." She explained, doubting he could understand humans. Then he honked in disbelief?

Anna looked at her sister in shock, only to be met be a similar look. "Um can you tell your mama to take you to the lake for tomorrow?" She asked hesitantly.

Frank honked in assurance, flapping a wing as if to say 'piece-of-cake'. He stood up tall as the princess sat him down, marching over to his mother and honking.

She nodded and honked back.

"What the heck Anna? They can understand you." Elsa whispered in shock as the mother goose nodded at the princess. 'Nice Anna, now you have geese that like you too.' She chuckled in response, waving to them as she stood and helped the Queen to her feet.

"Well that was easier than anticipated, want to go get some chocolate?" Elsa nodded and shot her a knowing smirk before they starting giggling on their way to the kitchen.

Geralds creepy eyes nearly bulged out of his head at the sight of the 'annoying princess' trailing behind her sister like a lost puppy. "Princess Anna? W-why what a...pleasant surprise. However I'm sure there is something else you'd rather be engaged in, than gracing us with your...presence." He sputtered indignantly as she confidently took a seat next to the Queen.

Elsa pretended to miss the comment and bowed her head to the rest of the advisors with a smile. "Good morning, I won't be keeping you long today...there's a urgent matter that needs to be taken care of as soon as possible." She shot a look at Gerald, deciding her words would work as a fork to stab him with.

"Good morning Your majesty...Your highness." Teril greeted kindly with a head bow.

"Ah, Princess Anna it's so good to see you. Your smile always brighten my day." Yvette smiled across the table at the young princess.

"Your majesty, you should coax her in here more often." James chuckled, the twinkle in his eye making both sisters smile.

"What was that you said again Gerald?" Anna asked after waving to the advisors. She observed nervously as Gerald froze. He looked up at the Queen and let out a shaky chuckle. 'Yeah you better be scared, Ger-bald. No Anna... don't be mean like him. Be better.'

"What? Oh! That it was great you could bless us with your presence." He said quickly, flashing a fake smile before adjusting his papers. The room had grown silent at the tone of Anna's question a few seconds ago. It seemed to be a lot of pressure for Gerald.

Anna glanced at her sister who nodded in approval.

"Are you sure? I thought I heard something else... about me." Gerald reached for his collar as he frowned. 'so obvious genius'

"You? No of course not." His tone was again a bit snobby, seemingly offended by the mention of the princess. Why would he ever?

There was a sound of disapproval from the Queen. "Really Gerald? I've heard you have been treating my dearest sister with disrespect since you've arrived. I just listened to you suggest that she should be somewhere else other than here. Then a little bird told me, you can't stand the way she acts, walks, talks, breathes, or even when she greets you respectfully." Anna looked down as tears formed, but a soft reassuring hand squeezed hers.

"She's tried so hard to be nice, but after I found out about that threat you made last night, I couldn't let it go. No one calls my baby sister annoying, a screw up, a spare, a klutz, and makes her cry without being exiled from our kingdom." There were collective gasps from around the room...all shocked someone would have such audacity. How could someone do that to their sweet selfless princess?

"What if I told you my sister isn't the only one that talks to birds, would you call me a lunatic as well?" Elsa asked with a firm voice, standing as she glared at the obviously uncomfortable ambassador. Anna was pulled to her feet as well, and she gained the confidence to look up.

His mouth opened and closed a few times as he tried to form an acceptable response. 'If we were playing charades he'd definitely be a fish.' Anna chuckled silently to herself, thankful her sister was a quick thinker.

There was no acceptable response to that question, either way one of the sisters would be offended, which wasn't a good move.

That question was starting to make Gerald perspire, and it froze to his face when there was suddenly a cold gust blown his way. Everyone else in the room tried to keep their composure at the hilarious sight of his mouth getting frozen shut.

'No more threats or name calling.' The princess smiled and gave her older sister a thankful look. Elsa chuckled and squeezed her hand again.

"Gerald...I'd rather you be somewhere else, than disgracing us and our kingdom with your presence. I hope our next ambassador will be much more respectful." With a brief nod from the Queen, Gerald was promptly escorted out of the council room. Someone began to clap, which started a domino effect. 'That was such a burn from a snow queen.'

Anna didn't care about being proper as she embraced her sister tightly, her stress and anxiety now gone. " Thank you so much Els, I love you."

"Anything to see that beautiful smile of your's, baby sis. I love you too." Elsa hugged her sister tightly, grateful she could be herself again without the fear of being judged.
