Scott seemed unaffected by the current storm outside. Instead he perched on the window seal and watched things move dangerously in the wind. His head rested on his arm, which was in turn cushioned by the plank below him. He looked out wondering why? Why did it always rain on his birthday? More importantly, why did he care?
"Scott can you come in here for a second?" Courtney called from the kitchen.
Scott sighed before he sat up and walked into the kitchen. There he found Courtney; she had frosting over her face and batter on her pants. Looking away from Courtney he saw a chocolate cake with 'Happy Birthday Scott' written on in blue frosting like a child. "Happy birthday my farmer-boy" Courtney swooned kissing Scott on the cheek.
"Hn. Thanks, but no thanks Courtney. I don't celebrate my birthday, besides I don't even like cake." Scott grumbled, before taking a look back at the cake. Curse Courtney for using his favorite color for frosting. Courtney smirked when she saw his lips beginning too wiper, but before he could let it out he stopped. Much to her displeasure. "Besides cakes are too sweet."
"Well you should at least try it. It wasn't a walk in the park making this for you." Courtney darted. "Besides you know what they say, your birthday is the perfect excuse for eating cake."
Scott snorted, making Courtney giggle getting a reaction out of the boy.
Seconds past before Scott gave another answer. "I. Am not. Eating that c…hm!" Courtney caught him off guard, shoving a piece of cake in his mouth. After a few gags Scott finally got that cake down his mouth. He wasn't mad that Courtney pulled that move, but more mad that it actually tasted good.
"So, how was it?" Courtney asked in a mocking tone.
"Try some." Scott flicked piece in her face.
"Ugh." Growling Courtney tossed a piece in his face.
This started a food fight between them, that went on until they both simultaneously threw a piece of cake in each others mouths. "Gulp," After swallowing they both looked into each others eyes. By reaction they both began too laugh uuncontrollably before starting their food fight again.
"Happy birthday my farmer-boy." Laughed Courtney.
"Whatever," Scott rolled his eyes. Then he felt that emotion of his. "I love you Courtney."
A/N: I know it's short, but I hope you enjoyed. I woke up this morning wondering what happened to all the Scott and Courtney fanfiction. So that's why I created this.
