"Oi wrench! Do you feel any jewel shards?" Inuyasha asked for the millionth time.

"No I don't Inuyasha." I tell him.

"Keh. If Kikyo were here we would have already found em all but no we had to get stuck with you. Oh well your a decent Jewel detector." Inuyasha said.

"I'm not just a jewel detector and if Kikyo was better then me then how come she hasn't found them all yet?" I ask

"Are you implying that you are better than Kikyo wrench?" Inuyasha growled.

"No Inuyasha." I say. I'm not better than her. I'm not as pretty or smart, i'm not as good with a bow, and I always need to be saved. No she is way better that me.

"Good because your not. She's prettier, smarter, better with a bow, she can defend herself, she is everything your not. Kikyo is perfect. All you are is a overly emotional jewel detector who can't take no for an answer." He said with a taunting tone of voice. I looked at him in disbelief he had never said that to me. Yes he compared me to her but he had never called her out on her love for him. I look to Sango and Miroku. They look at me unflinchingly. Their look says it all. They agree with Inuyasha. They are tired of my constant broken heart. Well if I could turn off my emotions I would. Sango at least should know that. I swallow and I look to the woods. All I wanted was to run away from their harsh, disapproving glares and run until I could run no more. Run until I was far away. But i couldn't no matter how much I wanted to I couldn't run. I have a duty.I take a deep breath, close my eyes and sense a jewel shard. I open my eyes, clear my face of emotion and start walking toward the shard.

"Jewel shard North. About mile away. Non-moving." I say in an emotionless monotone. I turn to look behind me to see what they are waiting for. They stare at me with shocked looks on their faces.

"Are you coming or wh-"

Flashback over (Cut off)

"Kita? Kita you in there? You hoo, Kita talk to me." Misa was waving her hand in front of my face and making faces. Me and Light start laughing.

"Yeah I'm here and I'm talking to ya. I was caught up in a old memory." I say.

"Maybe ya shouldn't think about whatever ya was 'cause it looked like you were about to beat the crap out of something." Misa said.

"Or everything in your path." Light added making me and Misa laugh.

Okay so its short but my brother and cousins are here so your lucky you got anything at all at the moment. Oh sorry for the wait. As some people colorfully pointed out (In this story and some of my other ones) I was missing the chapter. For those people Yes I know.
