"Is there something the matter, Sakura?" a guard asked her

"Nothing just want you to come to take a look at something I found" she replied to the guard.

Following her, the guard was not really sure what she wanted to show them though. However, this was Sakura Haruno the second student of the Sanin Tsunade also currently the Hokage of the Konoha. If she had something to show them than it was probably something that was at least of interest.

"So what is that you wanted to show me," the guard asked.

"It was something not doing their job properly," Sakura told them

"Huh!? what are you..." the guard said before collapsing to the ground.

Then Sakura or the one that merely using the body of Sakura reverse summon themselves back to where Nagato was. This was no longer Sakura Haruno as she had been killed after managing to destroy the second Animal Path of Pain. This result in a series of events that got her body used as Nagato's third Animal Path. Thus currently the one controlling 'Sakura' was actually none other than Nagato himself.

"What is this new plan that you have in mind," Konan asked him

"You see this body was close to Kyuubi's current Jinchūriki" the Animal Path said "Thus it might be a better plan to use this body along with others to get them to reveal the information we require"

Merely invading Konoha was not really that smart of an idea. It was a quick and easy way of doing things as they just ran around demanding to know what Naruto was. As they came here not even know if he was even in Konoha at the moment. Thus what if they had gone through with that plan and he never showed up at all. They would have given him a reason to come after the two of them however they were also giving him time to plan a counter attack as well.

Naruto was not alone he had many allies there were not all from his home village as he knew a lot of people and thus could get help from them as well. Their job was not to kill everyone in Konoha if he was not there but to capture him just like they had done the other Jinchūrikis in the past.

"Why were you going about collecting other guards using that body then," Konan asked.

"For infiltration purpose," Nagato himself said as his Animal Path threw the body into Naraka Path's King of Hell.

Summoning various animals and creatures was the main function of the Animal Path however Nagato got any idea from having acquired Sakura's body. Why not use her along with five other bodies to infiltrate Konoha and learn Naruto's whereabouts this way. If he is in Konoha than they will attack it and flush him out. If not then he will not be alerted to their presence nor would Konoha know they are coming after him now.

"That last guard would make five than so you must have enough now," Konan asked.

True enough Konan stood back as the Third Animal Path summon the body of the fifth guard that was now counted as creatures. Thus they had all the same signs as the Animal Path's others summons and mostly likely were now immortal like them as well. Thus they were not under the same rules needed to summon people or the other Paths did not apply to them anymore.

Reverting the Animal Path back to their 'Sakura' appearance they looked over them and nodded as they seem ready. On her command, they revert from their now true appearance as an Animal Path's summon to their original self before they were subjected to the transformation by Nagato.

"Now return to your post and go about doing your job like you were supposed to" she orders them.

The plan at the moment was to have five guards that were captured and converted into a summons to all return to Konoha when their shift was supposed to be over. While of course 'Sakura' would be doing the same once she was as well (having learned the shifts from the first guard that Nagato had converted).

Even if they had Naruto's teammate under their control. Why use your trump card from the very beginning. Having others spread out to learn his whereabouts while they could use Sakura to instead look for various other weaknesses and things they can exploit besides merely having control over Sakura's body.
