A single tear fell from Alfred's eye, sliding down his cheek before it fell to the ground, ending its brief life.

For he had been the victim of an unforgivable sin. And his suffering now was something no creature should ever have to endure.

"You monster!" he screamed, as he reached across the table, grabbing the clothing of the man who had so cruelly taken from him his one reason to get out of bed in the morning. "How could you do that to me?! I hate you!"

Arthur shook him off and continued eating his ill-gotten prize. "It's just a pancake, you bloody idiot," he replied coolly.

"The LAST pancake!" Alfred shouted in response. "The last pancake that I had mentally claimed!"

Arthur shook his head. "If you wanted it you should have said something out loud," he retorted.

Alfred sat back down. Such logic had not occurred to him until now…
