Hello people! So I found this short old draft in my computer and decided to publish it lol. I fixed it up a little, but my writing's still a little rusty. Whatevs haha. Hope you enjoy the fluff!
Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans.
A wizard with extraordinary superpowers. Two friends that aided him as sidekicks. Good and evil forces battling against each other in what was the war of the century. Raven's eyes were glued to the fantasy novel in her hands.
A light tap on her left shoulder interrupted the violet-haired girl's trance. She turned to the left to see who was there - nobody. She turned the other way and inches away from her face was a head with gleaming emerald eyes, messy green hair, and a playful smirk.
Raven merely blinked as the word, "Boo", escaped from those smirking lips.
A small smile tugged at her lips, but only for a second. "Beast Boy," she breathed out, turning her eyes back to her book.
"Aw, you weren't surprised this time," he joked, fake sadness written all over his voice. He plopped down right next to her on the couch, so close that their bodies were touching. He felt warm. And Raven actually kind of liked it.
She shrugged, pretending to be indifferent.
"What'cha reading?" he casually asked.
"Just another book about magic."
He chuckled. "You always read about magic."
She raised an eyebrow. "Is that a bad thing?"
He smiled and casually put his arm around her shoulders. "No," he said, "not at all."
Despite her expressionless face, Raven felt her cheeks heating up at his gesture.
Beast Boy chuckled again. "You're blushing!" he teased. Raven felt her cheeks heat up some more.
She grabbed a pillow and hit him with it. He laughed once again. "It's not like I already knew," she snapped, flustered at his comment.
He grabbed the pillow from her hand and threw it across the room. "I just felt the need to point it out," he started, and then his eyes transformed into puppy dog eyes, "because you looked cute."
Raven's cheeks were still heating up. She lightly pushed his chest away from her. "You're so annoying," she mumbled.
A grin came upon his face. "Hey, it's not fair that you get to do all the pushing."
Suddenly, Raven felt a grip around her arms, pushing her down so that she was laying down against the couch. She looked up and all she could see was Beast Boy kneeling over her, that playful smirk on his face again. His grip on her was firm. His arms were toned. His dark green hair was messy but perfect at the same time. His emerald eyes were glued to hers.
Raven couldn't breathe.
"What…what are you doing?" she managed to say.
An amused grin formed at his lips as Beast Boy said, "I'm going to kiss you."
Slowly, he lowered his head and in a few seconds, a pair of gentle lips rested on Raven's. He kissed her. And she kissed him back.
Seconds later, they pulled away, and that same grin was on his face. Raven's cheeks still felt heated, and she could see that he was blushing too. He was too cute.
"…Can I read my book now?" she asked.
Beast Boy laughed. She couldn't help but let out a small smile in response. "You really know how to ruin a moment." He ruffled her hair as he helped her back up into a sitting position.
A small, subtle smile stayed on Raven's face as Beast Boy's arm remained wrapped around her shoulders while she started to read again.
Annndddd, that's it! Hope you enjoyed it!
