Five years had passed, Five Years since the end of the Holy Grail War, Five years since Gilgamesh had betrayed him. These were the thoughts of Harry Potter as he prepared to board the Hogwarts Express from Platform Nine and Three Quarters. There is a magical school in Japan. The Mahoutokoro School of Magic, and Harry had gone to the Academy at the age of seven. But he opted to transfer out once he became eleven in order to go to Hogwarts.

Kirei Kotomine had become Harry's legal guardian. He had told Harry how he killed the Dursleys, even going into detail about how they died. Harry taken a small amount of pleasure in the disappointment he saw on Kirei's face when Harry barely reacted.

It wasn't that Harry felt nothing, he did feel a small pang of guilt and sadness at the deaths of his remaining family, but it wouldn't keep him up at night. It was akin to what one felt when they encountered a dead animal, perhaps some small sorrow, a little guilt but ultimately nothing that would keep you from sleeping at night. Harry had resented his Aunt, Uncle and Cousin and they him, as such there was no love lost when they were gone.

He'd only attended the funeral in England because Kirei had forced him too. The irony of the same Priest who murdered them also performing their funeral rights was not lost on him. As such, he'd taken to calling him by the moniker Rin gave him, Fake Priest.

Speaking of Rin, she was also in Kirei's custody as set out by her father Tokiomi if anything should happen to him and Aoi. She diligently took up learning the Tohsaka family magecraft. Not that Kariya hadn't tried to get custody of her in hopes of reuniting the two sisters, but Kirei had rebuffed him as had Rin herself. He had met Rin again due to them both being in Kirei's custody and the priest forcing them to spend time together, the excuse was that Rin was so dedicated to her magecraft that she was not speaking to any friends and Kirei was worried about her becoming a shut-in as a result of such dedication and her social development becoming stunted.

That was the first time Harry had heard the Fake Priest lie so blatantly. He and Rin had managed to get a fairly decent relationship going, due in part to his saving her life when she came into the city. He let her study him, she wanted to see what she could about Enkidu's presence and if he could do it again. It was through this study she had found that he was Enkidu's descendant, hence his ability to communicate with animals, a remnant gift that had been awakened due to his possession by Enkidu.

Rin had, of course, visited her sister and even talked with her. However, Sakura had given up on becoming a Magus. Only practising enough to be able to defend herself from threats from the Moonlight world. But she had never gone too much further, her short time 'learning' from Zouken had given her an aversion to the deeper mysteries of magecraft. By contrast, Rin, seeing Magecraft as a way to connect to and honour her father, threw herself into it. Even Harry who was not a Magus could see how talented she was.

Honestly, he was not sure what his relationship with Rin was. Were they friends? Harry wasn't sure how to define his relationship with the Tohsaka girl, but he knew that he did not hate her. There was no reason for him to blame her for her father's sins, plus to be fair Harry had a role, however small, in her mother's death.

Kotomine had shown her the edited footage of her mothers last moments, she hadn't wanted to talk to him about it despite his presence in the video. He knew that the Fake Priest just wanted to see her suffer. As such Harry had tried to comfort her. Emphasis on 'tried'. He wasn't very good at it, and in the end, he nudged Sakura and Kariya in her direction. They did a much better job than he could.

While Mahoutokoro had given him a head start, giving a foundation which would put him ahead of his peers at Hogwarts, they could not teach him what he wanted. His enemies in the next Holy Grail War would be fully capable Magus all with aces up their sleeves. He would just have to fight Servants but other masters as well.

Harry's ace was the Super Bajiquan style that he'd managed to persuade Kotomine to teach him. To use it properly, he'd need to replicate the Magecraft Kirei used in his style. Which was Reinforcement, big secret right? Normally a Wizard cannot use Magecraft, however, it was possible through an advanced type of spiritual surgery which involved tapping into a Wizards Magical Core and creating pseudo-magical circuits.

You may ask, well if its so easy then why don't all wizards get this surgery and use magecraft? The answer is threefold, first, wizards don't want to be associated with the Magus barbaric magecraft, two it requires a highly skilled spiritual doctor which are rare and three the process is agonizingly painful, something Kirei withheld until he'd begun the surgery.

There were drawbacks however, one was that the magic circuits created with this method could only ever handle one type of magecraft, Harry didn't know the specifics but basically if he tried using any other magecraft with these circuits they'd explode inside his body. The other was his major issue, the fact that his reinforcement was limited, it had set level which was below average which the pseudo circuits could not go above and as such he'd never be able to rely on the reinforcement alone. Thankfully he'd heard from Waver who had kept in contact with him, about an Enforcer from the Clock Tower who used Runic Sorcery to improve her melee fighting abilities, this was how Harry planned to complete the incomplete style. As for his proficiency in the Bajiquan style itself, well he wasn't a prodigy like Kotomine and he'd only been learning for two years.

Not that this was his only reason for going to Hogwarts, part of it was to get away from Kotomine and Gilgamesh. You see while Mahoutokoro accepted students as young as seven until they were eleven years old they were not allowed to board at the school. And at the end of the school day, instead of communicating back to Fuyuki on the back of a giant storm petrel like the other students Harry was picked up by Gilgamesh.

He spent four years being taken home by the one person he resented most in the world and he knew she was doing it to taunt him, knowing he was powerless to even touch her, the gap between humans and servants was simply too vast.

"if you continue to frown like that then you will never make any friends," Kirei said snapping Harry out of his thoughtful daze.

"You are the last person I want telling me how to make friends, counterfeit priest." Harry snarked.

"Here, I managed to pry your wand away from Rin, you won't get far without it." Kirei handed Harry his Holly and Phoenix feather wand.

He'd received it from the Wizard marshal Zelretch of the Mages Association by owl post. Why? Well, all the letter said was that he needed it for his destiny. When Rin found out Zelretch had sent it she demanded to be able to study it. Harry had conceded if only to get her to leave him alone, as she'd kept bugging him about it.

Harry prepared to board the Hogwarts express when the priest put a hand on his shoulder, stopping him.

"Now we will continue your training during the summer, in the meantime do not slack off it would be a shame to have to go over the basics again because you got caught up in your school work." Harry clenched his fist in anger, there it was, Kirei's retort to his counterfeit priest insult.

Slacking off, that was something Harry hated. Being accused of it was a button to push, mostly because Harry had been told that the Grail would start ten years after the last one, which meant he had limited time to prepare, his opponents would be magus who had been practicing their craft for generations, if Harry got lazy then he'd be at a disadvantage when the Grail War came around and he'd never get his wish, the very possibility made Harry angry and upset.

Harry ignored the priests blessing as he boarded the train wanting to get away from the repugnant man as fast as possible. This was part of the reason why Harry knew it was unwise to get into these kinds of barbed contests with the Fake Priest because he always won. He had raised both Harry and Rin and thus knew exactly what buttons to push in order to get a rise out of them.

As the train began pulling out the station Harry was briefly tempted to give Kirei a rude gesture in response to his waving but thought better of it. The priest had a great memory and sadistic streak a mile wide. He'd remember, and then Harry's training would involve far more pain than it already did when he got back. So instead Harry simply turned away from the priest ignoring him as he left view.

It was when a bushy-haired girl came into Harry's cabin asking about a toad, along with the sounds of spells and firecrackers going off, that Harry at least knew his first year at Hogwarts wouldn't be boring.

Harry was back in Fuyuki, after a short detour. His first year at Hogwarts was certainly exciting, so Lord Voldemort who murdered his parents remained alive as a wraith and had possessed Professor Quirrell whom Harry had managed to overpower before his touch turned him to ashes somehow. Dumbledore had then told him privately about a Prophecy, one which foretold of Voldemorts defeat and apparently Harry and one other were the best candidates. Hence the Dark Lords obsession with killing Harry.

Initially, Harry thought he could keep Voldemort at arm's length until he'd won the Grail. But then Gilgamesh had dashed those hopes, by informing him that she'd added Voldemort's name to the Grail ensuring that he too would receive Command Seals and thus become a master. This had motivated Harry to try and find out Voldemort's secret so he could kill him early and remove a rival for the Grail. Sadly however even Dumbledore didn't know how Voldemort managed to stay in this world without his body.

However, Voldemort was not the reason he was here. In the house of one Kiritsugu Emiya, who had stayed in Fuyuki after the Grail War. He rescued and adopted a boy named Shirou, who Gilgamesh had told him about. The feared Magus killer was dying. Cursed for daring to reject the Grail which had shown him a twisted version of his wish.

Harry was cursed as well but not like Kiritsugu. He felt a void inside, a feeling of emptiness, that he thought wishing Yume back would fill but, he knew Gilgamesh would never make it that easy. The feeling was not that easy to ignore, it was always there, in the background gnawing at him. He experimented with different stimuli, but none worked, he just could not fulfil that empty feeling.

"So this is where he lives?" His companion asked.

"Yes," Harry replied simply as they entered through the unlocked main doors.

He had known Kiritsugu Emiya was still Fuyuki for a while and had done his best to steer Rin away from this knowledge.

"Why are you here?" A voice asked from the side.

There he was Kiritsugu Emiya, he was blind, his visual loss was the last thing to leave him, first were his magic circuits, then his limbs became lame, finally, his sight went. He had only three months left to live, but that was Harry was here. He wanted to do something for the man. He felt sorry for him and this seemed like the best thing he could do.

"I have someone who wishes to see you," Harry replied.

Kiritsugu was wary, he had many enemies thankfully none of them had come for him or Shirou. A second voice pierced through his regret and despair like a ray of sunshine breaking through black clouds, one that he had not heard in five years.

"Daddy?"

"Illya?"

Indeed, Illyasviel von Einzbern his daughter was quick to embrace the father she hadn't seen in years, he returned the gesture as best he could. Harry watched the reunion. How he had gotten her from the Einzbern's was not relevant, however, Magi would give up just about anything if you offered them the right incentive which Harry managed to do with the Einzberns. What he'd offered had made them trade Illya nearly the moment he asked.

He decided to take his leave, this scene wasn't for him plus he had work to do. He felt a warmth in his chest, why had he done this? At first, he thought it was to try and get back at Gilgamesh who wanted Kiritsugu to suffer but know he wasn't so sure.

"Wait." Illya's voice called out to him causing Harry to paused and look at the girl who was still hugging her long-lost father with tears running down her face. "Thank you."

"He doesn't have long, so if you wish to be thankful then treasure the time you have left with him."

"I will." Illya sniffled joyfully.

"We will meet again Illyasviel Emiya," Harry said as he walked out of the door.

"I know you're trying to sound cool, but that line doesn't work when we'll be living in the same town." Illya pointed out.

Harry quickened his leaving pace, having no desire for anyone to see the slight red of embarrassment on his cheeks. Only four years and several months to go until the Fifth War began.

He decided then, he'd tell Rin the truth, she at least deserved to know who her rage should be directed at for the murder of both her mother and father.

AN: Finally there it is, the end of Approaching Disaster. It's short, I know I always intended the epilogue to be short. I know there most likely plot holes and things left unexplained but to be fair I've had no one to talk to about ideas for this fic. Anyway So yes Voldemort will be a master in the fifth war, originally I didn't plan this but I thought why not spice things up? Plus I already have a surprise in store for Voldemort's entry into the war.

Now then why did Dumbledore tell Harry about the prophecy so early? The answer is Zelretch, as some of you may remember Dumbledore and Zelretch are friends in this fic as such the Wizard marshal prodded Dumbledore into spilling the beans earlier than canon.

As for Ilya being reunited with Kiritsugu, I didn't plan that originally but I decided to try my hand at what it would be like if Illya was not the Einzbern master and had reunit3ed with her father instead during the next war. I figure one light at the end of this dark tunnel can't hurt right?

Also quick to point out, this means that Shinji will not be the creep he was in canon. Without Zoukens influence and being raised by Kariya I figure he'll be a decent person.

Big shock you guys want a sequel a sequel you shall have. Also I've put up another poll in the meantime. To decide what story will replace this one. The options are:

Potential in Remnant

A Persona 4 RWBY crossover where Yu Narukami is brought to remnant by Philemon and Ozpin in order to help awaken the persona's of certain students and teach them to use them properly. So he is a Teacher, not a student. This begins in Volume 1 of RWBY and at the end of Persona 4.

The Wizard and the Wild Card

A Persona 4 RWBY Crossover where Ozpin after being killed by Cinder, winds up reincarnating into Yu Narukami but instead of merging with him as usual Ozpin instead finds himself becoming a Persona. gGtting back to Remnant is the easy part. Now Ozpin must battle Salem and her minions with these new restrictions on him.

Lucy 21

A Dragonball FighterZ Fairy Tail crossover.

After the death of Android Twenty One, King Yemma Screwed up. He wound up reincarnating both Android Twenty One's good and evil halves as one Lucy Heartfillia. Thankfully however the evil half and the power that came with it were sealed away by the Celestial Spirit King and the Golden Zodiac spirits, but now thanks to Hisui and Minerva the Seal has broken and now the ever hungry and Evil Lucy Twenty One wants nothing more than to feed on the wizards of Earthland.

Please make your choice. I'll close the poll in about a month.
