Authors Note: Finally, it's finished! I had a blast writing this story. I just want to thank everyone who has been following along with me. Being that this was my first T7S story, I hope I did our favorite pairing justice. Let me know what you think and don't forget to follow my new story "Focus". I'll be updating that within the next few days.

Disclaimer: I do not own 'That 70s Show' or its characters. The title is from the song "Bring it on Home" by Led Zeppelin.

Baby, baby... I'm gonna bring it on home to you

The sun set, quietly, over the bank of Mount Hump.

Its only audience, a single soldier.

Dressed head to toe in uniform, except for the dirty old boots of his youth, he painted a picture of imperfect obedience. His hat had been discarded on the hood of the El Camino allowing the air to pass through his neatly trimmed hair. The metal buttons of his jacket separated on his chest to reveal the band shirt hiding beneath.

Led Zeppelin, of course.

They couldn't beat the rebel out of him, but they had tried.

He held a joint between his chapped lips and savored the scent of smoke mixed with fresh Wisconsin air. It turned up the wistful memories of his youth.

Endless circles with his friends, adolescent mischief, and a cute little cheerleader with the sweetest lips he'd ever tasted.

The sun met the trees and poured a puddle of orange and pink across the sky. His uncovered eyes darted back and forth, savoring it all.

The sunsets in the Middle East were beautiful. Still, there was something about this place that he couldn't substitute. Fingering the neatly folded paper in his pocket, he knew exactly what it was he'd missed.

Sliding the letter free, he opened it against the background of the evening. Her handwriting poured out in sensual waves. The purple ink, her signature color, only heightened the intensity of her words. The guys in his company had ragged on him about their intimate letters. Still, he didn't mind so much.

None of them had a hot fiancé waiting for them at home.

He studied the words he'd read about a hundred times before. It started out with her telling him about their new apartment in Point Place. It was a basement apartment with two extra bedrooms. She'd painted one white to use as an office, a necessity since she was hired on as an Editor for Cosmo, and the other yellow for their 'future love child'.

Her words, not his. Two years in the dessert hadn't softened him up any.

He wouldn't argue, though. He couldn't wait to get her in his arms and do baby making things to her.

He smirked at the thought of her in his Zeppelin t-shirt and nothing else. Two years had made him more 'needy' than he thought possible. He just hoped he could keep his hands off of her long enough for his plan to be executed.

Shifting uncomfortably, he read on. The next paragraph detailed the rest of the gang. She'd kept him up to date on everything, not wanting him to feel left out when he came home.

Fes had a new flame, a disco instructor by the name of David. Kelso had been the only one of the gang surprised by this development. Come on, the guy wore prettier clothes than Jackie most days. Jackie described the new boyfriend as 'hunky with great fashion sense'. Hell, as long as Fes was keeping his hands off of his chick Hyde couldn't care less.

Kelso took a couple bullets while answering a burglary call. It'd been touch and go for a while, but his dumb luck pulled him through once again. Whether it was by luck or fate, the victim of the burglary happened to be a Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Model. He was currently recovering in her bed.

Eric and Donna spent their first year of marriage in Madison. When Donna got pregnant, they moved home to be near Red, Kitty, and Bob. Eric took over Reds position at Price Mart and Donna would soon publish the first of a series of books detailing the lives of the rock stars she'd interviewed as 'Hot Donna'. Other than that, they were simply Eric and Donna. If there was anything Hyde could count on, it was that.

Lastly, Red and Kitty became legal foster parents when they took in a twelve-year-old boy from an abusive home. It was mostly Kittys idea, of course, but Hyde suspected that Red didn't put up much of a fight. As much of a hard ass that he was, he could never turn down a stray kid. Red retired from Price Mart and took a part time job at a Corvette dealership. Jackie gabbed for a full page about the day she went with him to work and learned to repair sports cars.

Hyde smiled. Many of his fantasies involved Jackie covered in grease. The contrast turned him on like nothing else.

He scanned to the very bottom of the last page and read aloud.

"I love you, future husband. You are my world and I cannot wait for you to come home so that we can start our life together."

Hyde leaned back against the El Camino and folded the letter. He was careful to crease it in all the same places. These letters were everything to him. They'd gotten him through some of the worst nights of his life.

Or, rather, she had.

Placing it back in his pants, he reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out the heart-shaped velvet box. He held it up to the sunset and popped the lid to examine the sparkling diamond inside.

It wasn't the most expensive one but he'd worked hard to make sure it wasn't the cheapest either.

He smiled, for once certain that he'd done well.

Getting the ring had been no small effort. He'd enlisted the help of all of his friends and family. Donna, Kitty, and Fes had picked it out, Red had dealt with Fenton in placing it on hold, and Eric had, somehow, managed to not lose it before he picked Hyde up at the airport.

He, carefully, closed the box and placed it back in his pocket. Now, all he had to do was wait.

It wasn't long before two soft hands covered his eyes. A smile snaked up his face. Her mere presence caused his heart to pound.

"Guess who?" Her voice squeaked with barely-contained excitement.

Hyde smiled. "The cold clammy hands of Mrs. Steven Hyde?"

She gasped when he turned around and scooped her up. Her arms slid around his neck and he twirled her around once before placing her atop the El Camino. Pulling back, he examined the face of his soon-to-be wife.

Her eyes shined brightly in the low light. He stared into them, in awe of their colors all over again. She wore less makeup than he was used to but her skin glowed brighter without it. He moved his fingers over her healthy cheeks and through her dark hair. It was fuller and shoulder length. The silken texture sent waves of long-forgotten comfort through him.

Her small hands traced patterns over his face, hair, and body. Tears rimmed her beautiful eyes.

He couldn't wait any longer.

Their lips crashed together. They moved, hard and deep, against each other. He gripped her hair, desperately, and pulled her further into him. She laced her fingers in his hair and massaged his skull in rhythm to their kiss. Using an old trick, he trailed his fingers down her sides and over her ribs until she giggled into his mouth. Taking advantage, he pushed his tongue inside. She smiled into the kiss, probably remembering that very move, and responded earnestly. His hands wandered over the straps of her pretty blue dress and down to her breasts. They'd grown, slightly, since the last time. Her hips, while still petite, lacked the boney quality of her teenage self. Small fingers wandered over his newly muscled arms and towards his chest. She reached his stomach and gasped into his mouth when she felt his hardness through his pants. Her knees moved up his uniform and her feet linked around his waist.

Losing her lips brought physical pain. Still, he had one last thing to do.

Only inches apart, they panted. She leaned against him for support and he kept a strong grip on her waist.

"Steven..." She spoke between gasps. Her fingers trailed over the hard mounds of his chest. "You're really here."

He rubbed her back with his palm and leaned his forehead against hers. "Yea, doll. I'm here to stay."

Her left hand moved up to his face and cupped his cheek. She gifted him a trademark Jackie smile. From the side, he noticed the bulky ring resting on her finger. He turned his head and gripped her wrist, bringing her hand between them.

"You're still wearing that old thing, huh?"

She held her hand out to view his class ring. Her lips curved upward, naturally. "Of course, Steven. I love it." Her smile disappeared. "I'm sorry I couldn't be at the airport, Puddin. Donna called me and said she was in labor! I drove all the way over to her place to find out it was just gas." She curled her nose in disgust. "Eew! Stupid lumberjack."

He laughed. The plan was coming along nicely. "Yea, well, about that. I told Donna to distract you." Her entire face fell and he knew he had to cover, fast. "I wanted to meet you here, at our place, so that I could give you a present."

Her smile returned and she clapped her hands between them. "You got me a present? Aww, Steven." She watched him with loving puppy dog eyes.

Hyde gripped her left hand, again, and fingered the class ring. "I promised you something better, Jacks. Not just the ring, but also a better life. Now, I can give that to you."

He reached into his jacket and pulled out the heart-shaped box. Jackies eyes bugged out and her mouth hung open. He popped the box open to reveal the glittering diamond. "Oh my gosh, Steven! It's beautiful."

Her reaction sent butterflies through his chest and stomach. Clearing his throat, he continued. "Look, Jacks, I know this hasn't been easy. I just want to thank you for sticking around for me." He slipped the old ring off of her finger and put the new one in its place. It fit perfectly, thanks to Donnas snooping.

Silent tears fell down Jackies cheeks. Hyde, holding her hand tightly, continued. "I figured a lot of stuff out over the last two years, doll. Stuff about myself and my parents. Your parents." He leaned forward and gave her chaste kiss. "We can do better. You know?"

She nodded, cupping his face with her right hand. "Yes Steven, we can." She dropped his gaze and admired her ring. With a small smile, she continued. "My counselor. She said the same thing. No matter what happened in the past, that doesn't mean that we don't deserve to live happily ever after." He nodded. The counseling had helped her so much after the incident with Dick. He couldn't have been more grateful to Mrs. Foreman for suggesting it.

With a sigh, he held her face between his hands. "You know what? Screw it. I'm tired of keeping you waiting. You wanna go get hitched?" It was a gamble, especially knowing her fondness for weddings, but he had to try. "We can still have the wedding. We don't even have to tell anybody."

Joy spread across her face. She squealed and he laughed. "Yes!" She began peppering his face with kisses. "Yes! Yes! Yes!"

He hoisted her up against him and carried her towards the passenger side door.

Once inside, with his arm around his chick, Hyde aimed the car towards Vegas.

It was time to start a new chapter.
