Written for Lex. Happy belated birthday, lovely. I'm sorry this is so short, it just seemed like a good place to end it :)
Distraction
Percy nudged the hand that was currently trying to undo his shirt buttons away with a sigh.
"We're supposed to be working," he muttered, pushing his glasses up to sit a little better on his nose.
Kingsley groaned. "We've been working for hours."
"And we haven't gone over everything that needs going over yet," Percy continued. "You need to be prepared."
"I know it's an important speech, but we've been talking about it for weeks. I've got this, Percy. Besides, do you really want me walking on stage with a hard on because my lovely but far too serious partner prefers to work?"
Percy couldn't stop the chuckle that escaped him, and he looked at Kingsley with one eyebrow raised. "Are you saying I leave you wanting?" he asked.
"I'm saying that while you look sexy in that suit you're wearing, you'll look sexier without it. Trust me on this Percy, after all, I'm the Minister for Magic."
"Hmm, you should work that into your speech," Percy replied with an amused smile, though he did put the parchment he was looking over down on the coffee table.
Kingsley laughed, making Percy shiver. He'd always loved listening to that deep, rich laugh and now was no different.
Sliding over the sofa the two currently resided on, Kingsley ghosted his lips against Percy's neck. "You smell divine," he murmured.
Almost unwillingly, Percy leant into the contact. "We really don't have time for this," he whimpered when Kingsley nipped his neck, though he already knew that he wasn't going to try and make Kingsley stop.
"We'll make time."

Percy watched proudly from the crowd as Kingsley finished his speech to raucous applause. Kingsley had always been a good public speaker. Percy sipped at his champagne as he watched women begin to crowd around his partner, smiling at the uncomfortable look on the older man's face as he tried to fend them off while remaining polite.
"That was quite a speech, wasn't it?" George asked as he sidled up to his brother.
Percy turned, nodding his head. "We worked hard on it," he replied with a small smile.
"I'm sure. I'll bet you worked him to the bone, right up to arriving here, didn't you?" George asked, and Percy frowned slightly at the knowing smirk on his younger brother's face.
"Yes, why?"
"Hmm. Which part of the speech was it that left that ridiculous love bite on your neck then?"
Percy could feel the heat rushing to his cheeks as he blushed, already cursing himself for such a stupid mistake. With all the haste to make sure they'd arrive on time after their... distraction, he'd forgotten the concealing charm!"
