Chapter 45

"GOOOOOOO!" Luffy shouts while standing atop the Sunny's figurehead, enjoying the storm they were al tracking in with Naruto grasping the steering wheel and keeping everything steady, unlike a couple of others who weren't.

"Hey, hey, hey!"

"Whoa, whoa!"

Despite their words being heard, both Usopp and Brook were ignored until Franky spoke up from coming out from the below deck.

"Sunny will be fine!" Franky spoke reassuringly yet they didn't buy it at all while Naruto just continues turning the wheel while the others stood below him yet his eyes widen.

"Hold on!" With his single shout their ship proceeded to get launched into the air, going airborne with shouts and a single laugh being heard yet while in the air, it was then that Naruto saw it which his eyes merely widen in shock just as Zoro spoke up upon also spotting it.

"What's that?" His words got everyone to look ahead at what was before them, gaining much confusion.

"What?!" Nami made her way to the side of the ship. "That's impossible!"

What appeared before them all was an island covered in green with sharp and deadly rocks acting as a sort of wall for the island.

"Look!" Luffy pints dead ahead with his big smile. "Let's go to that island!" At that point, they all look at Luffy like he was crazy.

"LUFFY! Have you forgotten we need to find Punk Hazard and grab Caesar Clown!" His words caused Luffy's eyes to widen in surprise when he heard that while Nami looks at her compasses to see they weren't pointing at the island, instead away from it.

"Just as I thought but why away from it?" While she muttered that, Naruto was looking right at the island as he felt unnerved before glancing at his captain who was looking back with a disappointed expression tho knew they had more important things to do just as another eruption went off. Yet all their thoughts were silenced by the sound of a Den Den Mushi being called, drawing everyone's attention just as Franky runs inside and comes out with the snail in hand to see it was crying.

"Hey, what's this?" Luffy picks up the snail. "The Transponder Snail is crying! Hey, what's wrong?! You have a stomachache?!" The shaking didn't help either, due to it being an emergency call.

"Fool!" It's an emergency call."

"Should I pick it up?"

It was at this moment Robin cut in, stepping forward with concern.

"Wait, Luffy! More than 50 percent of emergency signals are fake! It could be a Navy Trap, one they use often." Yet hearing that, Naruto shakes his head while having one hand on the wheel and the other on his chin.

"I don't think so, the closest place for that signal to originate from is the island and..." He points at the massive pointy rocks. "What kind of pirates would even consider going there of all places for an emergency call of all things?"

With those two points being heard, they looked at their captain yet they both sweats dropped to see he had already picked it up even before they spoke, watching Luffy speaking into it.

"—gonna become the King of the Pirates!" Immediately he receives a whack upside the head by both Naruto and Usopp.

"IDIOT! That was too fast!" The two shouted simultaneously.

[Help me! It's scary... is this the Boss?!]

"No, this is Luffy."

When they heard that exchange, Naruto, Robin, and Nami look at the rocks more so past it where they saw a heavy mist among the forest green.

[My colleagues are getting cut one after another! THE SAMURAI ARE GONNA KILL US!]

The last part caused Naruto, Zoro, and Brooks's eyes to widen when they heard that part shouted.

"Samurai?"

"Hey, you, what's your name?! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

[Somebody please...help. I'm on... PUNK HAZARD!]

Instantly all of them turned once more to the island, Punk Hazard with Naruto being the most shocked at them at the island they were sent to before a scream echoes from the mic and cuts off. With this, a few of them such as the animal and long nose begin crying while others were serious with Luffy hanging up yet Naruto just makes a fist while Luffy cups his chin, and with a deep breath he speaks.

"I smell trouble..."

Instantly he got yelled at by the two who were freaking out while Naruto just looks back at the island that was Punk Hazard.

"It could be a trap but..." Robin looks back at the island. "could the one we are after being the cause of this?"

"Speaking of Samurai," Zoro turned his attention the blue-berry while recalling something he said once. "Naruto?"

"Yeah..." His arms cross with a serious expression. "I'm not sure what has gone on in the Wano Kingdom while I was in prison at Impel Down or even after I got out. The country isn't what you would consider open to everyone, the only reason I was there was because the Shogun asked for me to appear and claim my father's weapon left behind. Did some training while I was there and other things but...there was only one person I know of that would even want to leave that island tho there's no way he's on the island, I highly doubt it."

With all that said, Luffy pumps his fist high into the air.

"ALL RIGHT! LET'S GO HELP THAT GUY!" This made Chopper and Usopp despair but they understood that this needed to be done while Luffy just laughs happily. Sanji just steps forward to speak what's on everyone's mind.

"And who's going to the island?" Sanji asks, being the first to ask the important question to them all while the rain finally came to an end.

"Franky, I need the mini-merry!" Luffy requests one of his crewmates who complied with a thumbs up and smile.

"Wait!" Nami began while looking at her captain seriously. "Are you gonna go by yourself?"

"Do you have a problem with that?" His reply gained a sigh from Naruto who spoke up.

"Let's be honest captain, I don't consider you the 'trusting' type when it comes to getting things done fast."

"Whaaaa, why you gotta say that?"

"He's right," Nami spoke up again while approaching him. "If we let you go by yourself, you'll disappear without telling us!"

"Huuuuh?!"

Naruto just facepalms before Sanji spoke up again with another idea to save them from their headache.

"Okay, he needs some company, but not the random belly-warmer guy." This immediately triggered Zoro and proceeds to insult the cook, causing another argument between them.

"Company?" Franky turned his gaze on Luffy than the fight. "I'll go with him!"

Robin nods in agreement as she too found it to be fun all the while Usopp and Chopper were shaking, unlike Brook who was wondering what type of underwear Nami had on under her jacket that was pulled below her waist.

"How about this?" Nami said while taking out a bunch of straws. "We'll draw straws. No complaints, right?"

Despite saying that, Zoro immediately complains from hearing the idea while Chopper begs Zoro to take his place if chosen. In the end, they all grabbed a straw and pulled with Usopp praying to himself as he draws...being the first one to go much to his despair.

"#%=/+$!"

"Was that even English?"

"I don't know?"

"All right, his companions are..." Sanji began, lifting his straw that had a red end to it.

"Us..." Zoro finished, a little annoyed due to going with Sanji.

"Guess you're going with us, too."

Sanji said with a smile, leaning towards to look at it.

"I LOST!" Usopp shouted tearfully. "SOMEONE TRADE WITH ME!" That's when his eyes widened to see Naruto also wasn't picked and instantly grabbed his shirt.

"Naruto, let's trade! If we do that—" He was cut off by him suddenly shaking his head.

"Have you forgotten? I don't have my devil fruit right now, plus I'll be more useful here than there since I can still use my Fishman karate, more so near the water." As he finished, he was already pointing at the island and could see Usopps despair.

"MILKY ROAD!" Nami yell was followed by her creating a cloud-like trail, a bridge over the jagged rocks much to Luffy's amazement.

In no time flat, Luffy was chowing down on his meat, sat on the small boat with a crying Usopp, an annoyed Sanji, an annoyed Zoro, and a sad Brook. It was by this point Sanji realized something a looks back to see Robin and Nami standing next to Naruto.

"AH SHIT!" Sanji suddenly points at the confused Naruto. "YOU BETTER KEEP YOU HANDS OFF OF THEM YOU BLUE-BERRY!" Sanji's insult caused Naruto's eye to twitch while Robin just laughs a little with a smile upon her face while the others waved goodbye which Chopper sighs thankfully.

"I'm glad that I didn't get locked to go. I can't stand the heat." The mascot comments while Nami ties her hair into a ponytail.

"Letting him go by himself wasn't an option. They'll come back as soon as they find the clown doctor." As she finished saying that, she walks to Naruto's side to wrap an arm around his own.

"I didn't know you planned it out so well, does that include the draw?" Franky's question only got a telling smile which he laughs at this while Nami leans into Naruto who smiles. Robin watched this whole thing yet her smile faltered a little while staring at the two before turning to look where their captain and others went off too yet stops focusing on them entirely as her eyes widen, spotting something odd which took the shape of a symbol on all the jagged rocks that took the shape of a serpent to head yet the very sight of it nagged Robin as if seeing that somewhere before.

"What the hell is this feeling?" Naruto thought. "It's like I can't stop feeling a little on edge like something bad is gonna happen?"

As he was thinking, he glanced at Nami to see she also had something on her mind while Robin just stares at the symbol, trying to recall where she's seen it from.

"What's wrong Nami?" His question got her attention as she turns to look at Naruto than Robin while speaking.

"The clouds..." This confused the two who look ahead upwards at what she meant towards the dark clouds.

"I just noticed there's something strange about the sky above the island. The far side looks like the arctic sky." Now that got their attention, both showing clear confusion just as Franky joined them on the railing.

"No way!" He said with a smile, finding it disbelieving to hear such a thing unlike Nami who still couldn't understand at all yet Naruto just stares at it before placing a hand on his chin, looking away as he continued to get that unnerving feeling.

(It's not a place normal people can survive in.)

The moment the memory makes its way into Naruto's head, his eyes aided my widened from where he sat on the steps, quickly turning to look at the island.

"No that can't be, why am I thinking of that?" Naruto stood up the approach the edge while he muttered. "Sure, it's just like her explanation but it's not called Punk Hazard but—"

"Guiltina?" The moment that a was uttered, Naruto turns wide-eyed towards Robin who's hand was on her chin, eyes also wide and the two look at each other with Nami also catching this like the others.

"How do you know that name?"

"It was in one of the books I read, back on Ohara...wait..." Robin looks at him questionably. "how do you know the name, it's not really known."

"This...was Juvia's home..." His words caught not only Robin but the other three by surprise just before they heard a poi's roar followed by a distant explosion that was seen. This alerted them yet it was at this moment something very toxic was breathed in, causing Naruto's eyes to widen as he turns to see Nami fall down just like Franky, Chopper, and Robin. Upon seeing this, his eyes just widen before hearing footsteps and turned towards a group of people in hazmat suits. Upon seeing them, Naruto grits his teeth while also beginning to feel the effects of the gas until something hit him in the back of the neck, causing him to fall forwards, his gaze slowly shifting towards the one who did it and as he was losing consciousness he saw the figure.

It was a man no more than in his thirties. He had shoulder-length light blue hair, dark blue eyes with slitted pupils, and two long horns sticking from his head. His clothing consisted of a white lab coat over a black uniform.

"Why..." Naruto's eyes begin to close. "Why does he resemble Juvia?"

Without another moment later, Naruto hits the ground now unconscious with the man staring at him before his eyes narrow with veins popping on his face yet just turns away and walks past the hazmat individuals who quickly make way, not saying a word as he walks past them.

"Uto... Nar... Nar...uto... Naruto...wake up... Naruto...wake up!" With a startle his eyes shot open, meeting the gaze of Robin leaning over him, their eyes meeting as he quickly sat and looked around to find the others besides Robin tied up, having freed herself.

"Where are we?" His question earned a shake of the head from Robin which caused him to grit his teeth before standing up and flexing his muscles to rip the rope to shreds.

"Huh...?" Hearing that drowsy voice, Naruto looks to see Nami beginning to wake up.

"Ok," Spoke Naruto while looking at everyone with Frank waking up moments after Chopper. "now that we're all up, let's come up with a plan."

"Are they gonna sell us?!" Chopper began tearfully. "Are they abducting humans?!" With sadness in his tone, Naruto just raises an eyebrow since that was true then they fucked up since he was a Fishman and chopper was a talking miniature deer yet, in the end, he sighs before again looking around the large room at the walls, most notably the words.

"I was eating a Giant Shellfish desert on the deck and..." Franky rubs his head. "I can't remember anything after that!"

"I assume that somebody used sleeping gas and seized us once we fell asleep," Nami said as she pointed out the details with Robin continuing.

"It may have been a trap, we could have just walked into it." With her pointing that out, Naruto places a hand on his chin in thought.

"There was a group of guys dressed in hazmat suits but I was knocked out before I could do...anything..." Hearing how he spoke at the end, Nami and Robin caught that too see he was visibly bothered by something.

"Is that really you, Senpai?" Upon hearing that voice, Franky, Robin, Chopper, and Nami were surprised unlike Naruto who's eyes widen with clear shock, recognizing that voice but unable to place where.

"Did anybody say something?" While Nami asked that, Naruto directed his gaze towards the corner of the room just as Franky did the same as he spoke.

"No, it wasn't us." As he finished saying that, they all saw what lay in the corner of the room, a dismembered head, pieces spread out with his eyes facing down and at the wall.

"I may not be able to see you...but I know it's you." With that said, Chopper approaches the parts.

"Was it this thing that just takes?"

"Don't call me an 'it'!"

"GYAAAAAAAAA!"

With an immediate retreat, Chopper was now behind Franky while everyone was staring at the parts yet Naruto's eyes were narrow as he looked carefully at the parts while others gave their thoughts.

"Silence! If you're with Senpai than you guys don't seem like bad people. These are all parts of my face. Could you put them back together, Naruto-senpai?" As he asked that, Naruto's eyes shot wide.

"KIN'EMON?!" His sudden shout instantly caused the four to jump in surprise while the parts freeze.

"YES, IT IS YOU!"

"Give me a sec!"

With that, Naruto bends down and immediately begins rearranging the head much to the surprise of the other as they were greeted by a severed head.

"A TALKING HEAD!" Nami, Chopper, and Franky shouted with Robin just staring wide-eyed yet that shock died down upon witnessing the scene, Kin'emon becoming tearful upon seeing Naruto's face.

"Naruto-Senpai, to think I would be able to see you again." Kin'emon tried your blink away the tears overflowing. "After hearing about what happened, Princess Hanabi was consumed by grief." His words merely caused the eyes of the other to narrow while he spoke.

"Kin'emon, why are you here. What happened in Wano?!" His words caused the head to grit his teeth in clear anger.

"A Coup d'état occurred while you were in Impel Down..." Naruto's eyes begin to widen. "..and Lord Hyūga Hiashi was murdered. As of right now, the one who rules over Wano is Kurozumi Orochi as Shogun while backing and occupying the country is the one known as Kaido." As he finished saying that, the four behind Naruto were very much shocked at hearing such a thing yet froze upon feeling killing intent from Naruto who had veins on his forehead while his mechanical foot dented the floor.

"Kaido and Orochi..." As he spoke those names with such disdain, Nami could only swallow at his anger.

"Yes indeed..." As his tone took on a more somber tome, Naruto continued.

"Why did you even come here of all places and what happened to Hanabi?" When he heard her name, Kin'emon was even more bothered.

"As you know of the Princess's Devil Fruit allows her to know the positions of people she remembers clearly. We went searching for the Mink Tribe, me Kanjuro, Raizo was escorting Hanabi to Zou for protection and to seek their aid but when we were leaving Wano, we were spotted by the Beasts Pirates. We became shipwrecked, during which I was separated from Raizo and Hanabi who were heading in the direction of Zou. I and Kanjuro drifted ashore to Dressrosa yet once there, we were chased by Dressrosa's guards. Kanjuro chose to be apprehended to cover me," Anger formed on his face. "allowing him to escape and pursue Hanabi but I was caught in a storm and drifted to this island." Upon hearing all that, one more question remained.

"What about Hinata," His tone growing more serious. "has she was woken up?"

"No...but... Senpai, Orochi plans on waking Hinata to make her his bride." When he heard that, his eyes only widen and in a fit of anger slams his left arm into the metal wall, leaving being large sent that shook the room while veins had popped on his forehead.

"How long?"

"Most likely when the Fire Festival comes but even if she does not wake," Naruto's teeth grit. "he will still make her his bride."

"DAMMIT!" His shout made them jolt, Nami recalling the stories he told her while he was at Wano yet despite all that, the head spoke with a small sliver of light.

"Senpai, I saw Kuri's Daimyo..." This got Naruto's attention, his eyes turned wide. "he's in one of these cells." Upon hearing that, despite all that bad news, a smile forms on his face at hearing a single bit of good news.

"Naruto," Robin began while approaching Naruto from behind. "who's he talking about?" Her question was what the others wanted to know and it was answered by the Fishman turning towards them all with a smile.

"I've got no idea how he ended up here, but he's the only guy in Wano that actually wanted to leave it." That caused their eyes to widen as they recall him talking about it before.

"But I can question him when I see him. The one person I've had to deal with every day while at Wano, if not for Daimajin's constant involvement, he would've been even more of a pain in the ass." His smile just increases even more that if unnerved them. "He's someone that I myself want to join my crew, having the title of Strongest Swordsman of Wano and the one guy that ended our fights in draws every time. His name is..."

There was a lone man whistling a tune while restrained to a table, every part of him bound while also connected to the table were tranquilizers.
