Oneshot-Raven Logan.

Richard Grayson. Victor Stone. Kori 'Andre. Garfield Logan. And Raven...just Raven.

Raven tapped the pen on her chin in thought. This form thing was crazy. The Justice League had given every super hero a sheet to fill about themselves, their strengths, weaknesses and...real names.

"Its for the best," Robin had said, standing with his arms crossed and serious face on, "in case something goes wrong, we turn evil or turn against them, and they know how to handle it."

Pff. Yeah right. They just wanted to know if they were good enough to be superheroes, that's all.

The first question was simple. Superhero name.

Raven.

Next one. Real name.

But that was her real name.

It was nothing really to get upset at. I mean come on, it's just name. Two blank boxes to fill, first and last name. Simple. Stupid. Complete madness.

Though she did. It suddenly dawned on Raven she didn't have a last name because it was all part of the prophecy. She was just the Gem, the useless spawn of Trigon to never live past sixteen. It was foretold that she would be called nothing else. Just Raven.

Not even Roth could be her last name. That had been her mother's name of course, Arella Roth, but it wasn't hers. The sorceress hadn't been born Raven Roth. Just Raven.

And that really upset Raven. Nothing really to get in a tiz about for most people but for her it did. She didn't know why. Her emotions didn't just take away off like that. But then again, she didn't really feel that bound by feelings any more, ever since she defeated her father.

Uh, talking about him again.

The purplette had still been in the ops room laying on the sofa, tapping her pen in a rhythm when Beast Boy came in.

"You still haven't finished that?"

Caught by surprise Raven whizzed round to find herself touching noses with him, staring into his deep forest eyes. Immediately she blushed and looked down at her almost blank paper in shame. The changeling peered at the form and a confused look crept onto his face.

He took the paper out of Ravens grasp and looked more carefully, "Don't you want to write down your real name or something? Don't worry at first I was hesitant I mean giving away your secret identity-"

"Beast Boy," she cut him off from his rambling and he turned to her sheepishly, "Raven is my real name."

Puzzled.

"And what about your last name?"

Raven sighed before looking down saddened, "I don't have one. It was, well, in the prophecy that my name should just be Raven.

"Oh."

The shapeshifter would have usually been pleased about Raven opening up but that little bit of information distracted him. Quickly he swiped the pen out of her clutches again and scribbled down something on the form before giving it back to her.

Beast Boy grinned, bursting with pride, "There, now you have a last name!"

Shly he pecked her cheek then turned into a green squirrel and scampering off.

Raven was left on the sofa staring at the paper, a large pink blush on her cheeks. Written in the second box was a slightly scruffy, but visible name.

Logan.

Other times the half demon may have been angered by this joking but she knew it wasn't a joke. He had done that to make her feel better. It did. She felt warm and fuzzy and loved.

And that kiss had just been the icing on the cake.
