Outside, the wind howled fiercely, sweeping away the rotting leaves scattered on the ground. The sky threw down a barrage of tiny droplets, each of them ending with an unceremonious little splash as they hit the ground. Needless to say, it was damn cold out there.
However, inside Arthur's house, the heating was cranked up to full blast, making the small cottage positively tropical. Arthur's husband, Antonio was sat beside him on the sofa, having cocooned himself in several thick blankets, with a mug of fresh hot chocolate in his hands. And yet, he still had the nerve to utter the complaint:
"I'm cold."
Arthur raised one of his huge eyebrows at his husband. "Are you serious?"
Antonio's lips curled into a demanding smile as he shifted closer to Arthur. "Yup, I'm freezing," he insisted, his green eyes glinting mischievously.
"The way you're going on, you'd think we were sat outside," Arthur grumbled, gesturing to the window. The rainfall appeared to be getting heavier, giving the garden a forceful shower.
Antonio sighed disappointedly as he turned to watch the storm rage on, absentmindedly taking a sip of his hot chocolate. Arthur can be so dense sometimes, he thought, as he gulped down a mouthful of the sweet, rich drink.
Arthur's eyes lit up as he suddenly realised what it was Antonio wanted, cursing himself for not understanding before...
"I think I know I know a way to warm you up," he offered.
Antonio downed the last of his drink, before he faced his husband and replied, "Go on."
Arthur began by gently placing his arms around the slight male's waist, before easing him into a long, passionate kiss. It didn't take long for Antonio to start kissing him back, and the two paid no attention to anything but each other's lips for several minutes, not realising that in their moment of passion, they'd fallen from the sofa onto the floor until Arthur broke the kiss, and took a much-needed breath.
"Are you feeling any warmer now?" Arthur enquired.
A generous dusting of pink covered Antonio's cheeks as they burned up. "A little. I think I need to be made a bit warmer though," he teased.
Somebody's in a fluffy mood, and that somebody is me! See ya!
