Can you help?

Hi all

I wish I could say this was an exciting message, but it's not.

A user by the name of GenesisG has informed me that someone has taken my writing from chapter 15 of this story and taken it as their own writing, using it in a story on Wattpad. It's obvious to the point where I can pick out direct quotes from my story and find it in theirs.

I'm deeply hurt about this and I honestly don't know what to do. I've messaged the user, Kiana1506, asking them politely to take down the chapter, as has GenesisG, but so far, his efforts haven't worked.

I don't want to have to get their account terminated by reporting them, because I believe that everyone has a right to express themselves through stories, but I equally want to make this person understand that it's not OK to steal another's writing nor does it help you improve as an author.

I will leave the link to this person's chapter that contains the writing they took from my story, so that others know that I'm not lying or looking for attention, since you can see the resemblance when you read it. However, I would humbly ask for you all to spread the word about this person and warn other's that they could be at risk of having their writing stolen by this user. My hope is that if they see that what they're doing is hurtful and stops people from reading their work, they will have a change of heart and take down the chapter they stole from me and any others they may have used as their own.
