chapter 12
Holding the clipboards, taking notes while observing the subject that walked around the small enclosure. Apparently no signs were visibly seen or witnessed. Sitting in the corner, cuddling his knees and leaned his head against the wall.
"Stockman." a female scientist called, holding the clipboard in her hands and against her chest. The cybernetic self loathing scientist continued observing the specimen. Wondering what is exactly the plan of flushing the target out from hiding.
"Stockman." the woman called again. Finally, he turned his gaze. "What is it?"
Lowering the clipboard and revealed the suspected results. "The subject's condition has somewhat mutated." Stockman took the clipboard and read the findings over himself. With a small concerning hum. Unable to raise his brow as he did and once were human, now cybernetic. Virtual expressions arent the same.
Trailed his robotic finger down the page, reading the report slowly and suddenly he got a idea. Handing the board back and instructed. "Restest the subject and report back in one hour."
The co-scientist, nodded obediently and took the cliboard. Placing upon her chest and turned on her heel, walking away. Stockman walked out the room, the doors closed him and whilst standing behind him. Hidden in the shadows, tapping his foot lightly.
"Stockman." Bishop called. Turned around and answered. "Yes, agent bishop."
"Results?" bishop asked. "Well..." stockman began then paused as he thought about what to say. "The subject shows no signs of change."
Bishop wasn't interested in results of recovery. He was insterested of what could be used to find the girl. "Did you do as I instructed?" Stockman slightly turned his head and glared bishop confused. Trying to change the subject.
Bishop grew impatient, interrupting stockman. "That is not what I told you to do. Why hadn't you completed what I have asked?"
Stockman lowered his gaze and wondered, as he wished he could exhale a sigh. Unable to sigh, frustrated him. Bishop stepped out of the shadows and asked again. "Why hadn't you completed what I have asked, stockman?"
"The vaccine is still in production and trying to reduce risk of infection towards ourselves." Stockman finally answered bishop's inquiry. Bishop raised a brow, one of unpleased expectation. With a low and deep tone, he demanded strongly.
"Send the infected out, and flush the girl out. Right now, stockman or should I create a virus in your circuits?" Bishop threatened.
Unable to gulp, or sweat. Stockman nodded, agreeing and obediently. "No sir, that would not be necessary. I will sent him out immediately after taking a blood sample to ensure a vaccine."
"Excellent, get to work doctor." Bishop held his hands, clasped over the other behind his back as he walked past the cybernetic scientist that remained still. Missing his human feelings and expressions. Biting his virtual lip and grunted with annoyance, throwing his closed metal fist in the wall on his right. Creating a massive dent in the concrete wall, surrounded by multiple cracks and a few amound of concrete dust fell.
Staring down the damage he created and looked to his hand. Closed his eyes, opened and walked to the room once again. Pressed the button, waited to enter. The doors open, the light exited and surrounded his physique whilst only his shadow remained as he walked in then the doors closed.
Splinter smiled, wondered how did he become so lucky. His heart fluttered strangely. Miriam smiled as she noticed splinter smiling. Lightly brushed her tender fingers over little leonardo's sleeping head. Gently pulled away, trying not to wake the content terrapin toddlers that curled together. Miriam walked to splinter and leaned against the wall, that was covered by a large cloth.
"It is amazing, how you and these beautiful children have survived this long." Miriam commented. Splinter sighed, nodded and answered. "Yes I understand, where you are coming from. The surface wouldn't understand us, not like you do."
Miriam gazed the handsome brown rat, glancing with her beautiful dark caramel eyes. Splinter was spellbound by her beauty. He smiled, reached for her hand and gently grasped. Brushing his thumb over her hand tenderly, they shared a silent gaze then finally splinter gently pulled miriam toward him and miriam closed her eyes as she shared a tender kiss with splinter.
Flattening his ears, whiskers bristled softly and passionately kissed the wondrous beauty he had found. He knew, he had found his soulmate. Thier kiss broke, thier foreheads touched for a moment then surprised miriam as he scooped her legs and carried over to the space away from the children.
Laying her down on the futon, hovered over her as he smiled. Miriam smiled back, caressed his furred cheek. Deeply shared thier gaze and declared thier feelings with their eyes. Unaware, watching through the covers. Huddling silent, waiting as they held mikey's mouth.
The terrapin children smiled and audibly silent thier joyous exclaim as they witnessed their father and his newly love, shared a kiss. Well, seeing thier shadows. The four laid back happy and mikey whispered.
"We have a family." His brothers looked to the youngest and each other, then smiled.
