7 weeks later.

Weeks have gone by without Trinity speaking to neither Roman nor Seth. These were the hardest weeks of her life. Her schedule was a busy as ever now that she was the Women's champion. Even with her working so much, she couldn't help but to feel unhappy. After a week of trying to get Roman to talk to her, she decided to just leave him alone and let him move on with his life. She had to let him go and that was the hardest thing she had to do. She had, also, tried to contact Seth to explain herself, but he was not interested in conversation.

Seth can we talk?

Never Again.

After that, she just kept to herself. Putting on a face for the WWE universe and then retreating back to her shell. What else could she do? Her heart was broken and it was all her fault. And just when she thought her life couldn't get any more complicated, she just came from the doctor saying that she was about 6 weeks pregnant. This was possibly the worst timing in the world. If anyone found out then she'd have to give up her title that she worked so hard for. And there was an upcoming PPV match that the world has been anticipating. She'd also have to face one of the two men that hate her right now. There was no way she could work up the courage to tell them. No way. What the hell was she gonna do?

"Hey, Naomi! You're segment is up next!" a produce yelled, snapping her out of her thoughts.

Tonight she wasn't wrestling, she was just putting over her TLC match that was happening at next Sunday's PPV. This was her first big title defense and it was in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. This was exciting, yet nerve wrecking. And now she's pregnant and there's no way the company would let her compete if they knew. She had to talk to someone. She had to figure out what to do. Without thinking, she ended her promo and ran towards Roman's dressing room. It would be a miracle if he ever spoke to her again, but she had to try. She had to let him know what was happening because holding this in would probably kill her. All she wanted was advice. And Roman had been her best friend for the past months before everything went to hell. He was the only person she could turn to.

She knocked rapidly on his door. His match was over for the night so he should be inside. "Roman? It's Trinity! Please open the door!" Before she could say anything else, the door swung open. The hope in Trinity's eyes quickly faded into something way more guarded.

"Hey, Trin. You looking for Roman?" Sasha said easily.

Trinity stared in confusion. What was Sasha doing in Roman's dressing room? Before she could answer, she heard the deep voice that always seem to send shivers up her spine. "Trin?"

She looked past Sasha to see that Roman had stepped out of his bathroom in nothing but a towel. His entire body was glistening. His long dark hair was dripping down his shoulders and his eyes were soft yet inquisitive. He looked glorious. She couldn't do this. She couldn't face him. Especially not with Sasha standing right there. Obviously he's moved on. That's what happens when you have to let someone go. They move on. There was no way she could drag him into her mess. So trying her best to be nonchalant she squeaks out, "Uh, never mind. I gotta go." Then she not so subtly darts down the hall.

Sasha turned to see Roman approaching the door where Trinity had just retreated from. A look of concern and confusion written on his face. "What was she doing here?" He asked.

Sasha shrugged. "No idea. She didn't say anything."

"I'm going after her." Roman headed out the door, but Sasha grabbed his arm and tried to pull him back.

"Wait! You don't have clothes on!"

Roman looked down at his bare chest. Yeah, clothes first then Trinity. He all but ran back to his suitcase and pulled out some boxers. Before slipping them on he looked at Sasha who was just watching him. "Privacy please?"

Sasha rolled her eyes and turned around. "It's not like I haven't seen it already."

"Yeah, thanks."

With her back still turned Sasha spoke. "Are you really going to go talk to her? What happened to you staying away for good?" Roman didn't answer, but Sasha heard him take a slight pause. I know you're not over her, but you told me that you didn't want to see her again. You told me that it would only lead to more drama so you'd prefer to stay away. Then all of a sudden she's at your door and all of that just flies out the window?"

"I just want to know what made her stop by. I'm not going to fall back in love with her Sasha."

Sasha just turned to give him a pitiful look. "You know you have to fall out of love in order to fall back in love right?" Roman just gave her a look. "Roman, I care about you. That's why I've been coming to check on you for the past couple of weeks to make sure you're staying alive. I hate seeing you all depressed."

"I'm not depressed."

"Ro, please. You look like shit."

"You know, you have such a way with words." He said sarcastically.

"I'm just saying. Think about this before you go out there. It's taken you two weeks to actually pick up your phone for anyone after you guys broke up."

"Correction. We would've had to be together to have broken up."

"Exactly. You're depressed and you guys weren't even together." She threw her hands up. "All I'm saying is please think this through. Don't torture yourself if don't have to." With that Sasha left Roman with his thoughts.

Sasha was right. He still loved that woman. He couldn't stop thinking about her since he left her at the studio weeks ago. When she stopped reaching out to him after him ignoring her calls and texts he felt sick to his stomach. Why was he upset that she gave up? That's what he wanted right? Hell no. This sucks. He knows he'll never be over her. There was no way.

A week later it was the TLC pay-per-view and Trinity's match was the main event. She spent the week avoiding as many people as she could. She didn't want to give off any hints of her pregnancy. All she had now was wrestling and she'd be damned if she let her title reign end before it even started. Was this dangerous? Yes. She knew she'd have to come clean eventually, but she just didn't have the heart to do it now. Because then what? She'd be totally and completely alone. No wrestling, no Roman, no nothing. Just her and her unborn child.

"Hey Trin, you okay?" a voice called out to her.

Trinity looked up to see Sasha standing there. Time for Trinity to put her game face on. There was no way she would let Roman's new girlfriend see her like this. Trying to force a smile on her face, Trinity just muttered, "Yep. Just anxious about this match. Are you ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be. We're up next, okay?"

"Yep, I'll be out there in a sec." Sasha nodded and left the room. Trinity took a deep breath and followed behind her. She just needs to get through this match and then she could figure out what to do next.

Roman sat in the backstage area to watch the main event. Which happened to be featuring the woman who ruined his life. The match consisted of Naomi, Sasha, and Becky Lynch. Three of the best in the business showing what women wrestlers can do. Before the match started, Roman sensed someone sit in the chair right next to him. He turned to see the last person he thought would want to talk to him. Seth.

For a moment they just sat in silence watching as the main even began. Seth broke the silence after 5 minutes. "You know that was a shitty thing for you to do."

Roman just nodded.

"I should've seen it coming from a mile away. Actually I did see it, but I ignored it. And I shouldn't have." Seth hung his head for a minute and then focused on the TV where the match in full effect. "You guys should've be together. I knew that from the beginning and I still pursued her, so ultimately I brought this on myself."

Roman signed. This somehow made him feel worse. "Seth, look, I'm sorry about everything…"

Seth just waved him off. "Like I said. This was inevitable."

"I know man, but still. I crossed a line."

"Yeah you did." Seth chuckled "Look. I'm not upset anymore. I was. I punched a hole in the hotel wall when she left my room. Which is more expensive to repair than you think." That got a small chuckle out of Roman. "Look, all I want now is for us to be cool. You're my brother, man… Are we cool?"

Roman couldn't help but smile. "Of course my brother." He held out his hand and they dapped each other up.

Afterwards they continued to watch the match as the women stole the show. "So…" Seth started. "Are you guys together now? I've been avoiding you both for the past weeks in fear that I might see you two together and lose my shit."

Eyes still on the match, Roman just shook his head. "No, we're not together."

"Why the hell not?"

"Because."

"You mean to tell me that after all of the crap that happened, you're both still single? What the hell is this life, man? I hate it here." Seth sighed.

"Do you have to be so dramatic?"

"Yes."

Before he could respond, his attention was drawn back to the women's match. Both Trinity and Sasha were fighting on top of the ladder for the title. They were trading blows back and forth until Becky was there to push the ladder over. All the women were down and the crowd was eating it all up. Roman's nerves were beginning to jump around. Even after everything he wanted Trinity to retain her title. She worked so hard to get where she is now.

Soon, all three ladies were back on their feet facing off once again. Eventually, Becky exited the ring to grab a larger ladder. Trinity and Sasha were back in the ring putting on a show. It was counter after counter and it was beautiful, but then Becky interrupted taking out Sasha with the ladder. Afterwards, Trinity was able to dodge Becky's attempts to take her out with the ladder as well. But then something went wrong. Becky attempted to take out Trinity's legs with the ladder by swinging it at her legs. Trinity was able to jump to avoid being hit in the legs, but she didn't anticipate Becky having a hard time swinging the ladder quickly because of the weight of it. So instead of her feet landing on the mat, one foot got caught in the ladder as it was moving and she fell backwards. Not able to brace herself quickly she hit the mat hard.

All you heard was the gasp of the crowd as they watched Naomi lay still inside the ring.

Roman shot to his feet after seeing what just happened. His eyes wide with fear. Seth just sat in shock as the ref threw up the "X" to end the match. Trinity was not responding. As they wheeled out the gurney to the ring Roman realized that this was actually happening. Without thinking, he sprinted across the arena to get to Trinity. Not caring who was in his way or who was yelling at him. He need to get to her. He need to be there.

Trinity was already on the gurney and halfway up the ramp by the time Roman made it to her. "Trinity, baby, I'm here. I'm here baby!" He recited as tears welled up in his eyes. He couldn't hold his emotions back anymore. He was scared as hell. He thought he'd lost her before, but this is different. He didn't think that she'd be gone forever. This shouldn't be happening. Not to her.

"Sir you have to back up, we need to get her in the ambulance."

"I'm riding in there with her!"

"I'm sorry, sir. You'll have to meet her at the hotel. We need to monitor her air supply."

"God dammit!" Roman swore as he rubbed his face. He was a wreck.

Soon Seth came out and grabbed Roman by the shoulder. "Come on man, let her go. We'll meet her at the hotel." Roman couldn't take his eyes off of her limp body lying there on the gurney. "Come on, man." Seth said softly as he nudged him back.

"Please save her." Roman all but whispered.

Then he turned to run to his car with Seth and set out to the hotel. Luckily, there were able to follow directly behind the flashing lights of the ambulance. The drive felt like forever to Roman, but what he wasn't prepared for was how long they'd have to wait until they could actually go see here. After an hour of no news, more people began to show up. Like Sasha and Becky. Becky felt so bad after the match. You could see it written on her face. It wasn't her fault, but that sentiment didn't help.

Eventually, after two hours of nothing. A doctor came out to greet the group. "Um, are any of you family to Ms. Trinity McCray?"

Roman spoke up. His voice notably horse. "Yes, we are. We're on the road so many weeks out of the year together. We're the only people she has right now."

"Well, okay. She's in a coma, but we think she'll be alright. The fall caused part of her brain to swell, but we were able to catch that rather quickly. We don't know when she'll wake up, but if you'd like to see…"

"Yes!" Roman interrupted then cleared his throat. "Please."

"Okay. Well, just no more than two people at a time please."

Roman nodded and followed the doctor. When he entered her room, he just saw her laying there. Even in this state, he couldn't help but marvel at how beautiful he found her. He knew then that he would never leave her side again. He couldn't. She had all of his heart and there was no way he was getting it back. He grabbed the chair and positioned it right next to her.

"Trin..." Roman started. "I've been such an idiot. I should've never let you go. I'm so sorry. I love you. I love you so much. Please come back to me. I love you, bubbles. Please come back." He couldn't help the tear that fell down his cheek. He grabbed her cold hand and held it in his. "I love you, Trinity." He rested his head on the side of her bed. Eventually, he drifted off into sleep.

Roman woke up to a hand stroking his hair. It was so soothing that he almost didn't want to move, but then he remembered where he was. Slowly, he lifted his head to see Trinity's dark brown eyes. "Trin?"

She didn't say anything. She just stared at him as if she was trying to memorize his face. But He didn't care. He breathed out a sign of relief and enveloped her in a hard hug. Surprised, Trinity didn't respond at first, but Roman held on to her like his life depended on it. Then, as she realized what was happening, she wrapped her arms around him and held on. She has been deprived of this feeling for so long. The security she felt as he held her like this. The warmth that he brings to her body. She needed this. She needed him. He was her home.

Roman leaned back to look into her eyes and wipe the tears that fell. Not realizing that she was crying, Trinity just stared at the man that stole her heart. "You're here." She whispered.

"Of course, sweetheart. I'm not going anywhere without you."

As the tears began to well up again, Trinity squeaked out, "I'm so sorry."

"Shh. I don't care about what happened. I love you, Trinity. I just need you to love me back. That's all I want, Trin."

Trinity nodded. "I do love you."

To that, Roman smiled and leaned in to place a tender kiss on Trinity's lips.

"Knock. Knock." They parted to see Seth walk into the room. "Sorry to interrupt, but I came to check in on the patient."

Surprised, Trinity looked from Seth to Roman and back to Seth. "It's okay, Trin. I'm not here to cause trouble. Me and the big dog here already made up. I just came to make sure you were breathing."

She chuckled softly. "Yes, I'm breathing. Thank You."

"Oh great. You're looking a lot better." Her doctor said from the doorway. Both Seth and Roman shifted so the doctor could properly examine her. "How are you feeling?"

"Uh, well my heard hurts like hell. But other than that, I'm just happy to be alive."

"Well, your vitals are looking good. There's more information in your chart that I'd like to go over with you. Would you like this to be a private matter? I can get rid of the two buff guys if you want." He said good naturedly.

Trinity laughed. And looked to both Roman and Seth whose faces were adorably scowling. "No, it's okay. They're my family."

"Well, alright. Ms. McCray how long did you know you were pregnant?"

"WHAT?" The guys said in unison to her.

Well, shit.

The guys continued to talk over each other.

"I'm sorry, can you say that again?"

"What the hell, doc!"

"Pregnant?"

"I'm flabbergasted." They all turned to look at Seth. "What? I am!"

The doctor looked at Trinity warily as the guys freaked out. "I'm guessing one of them is the father?" She just nodded. "Do you know which one?" She shook her head. "Well, I guess I'll leave you to have this conversation in private. Whenever they're ready we can get a paternity test set up. Good luck." He said as he exited the room.

"Trin, what the hell is going on?" Roman said.

"I need to sit down." Seth breathed out.

"Um, well… I'm about 6 and a half weeks pregnant. Surprise?" she said pitifully.

"Am I..?"

Trinity shrugged. "I hope so."

"Ouch." Seth grumbled.

"Sorry…"

"Don't be. I'm kinda hoping he's the father too. I wouldn't know what the hell to do."

Ignoring Seth, Roman looked to Trinity. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"Um… Well I was going to last week, but then I saw you and Sasha in your dressing room. I didn't know you guys started seeing each other and I didn't want to complicate things."

"Huh? Me and Sasha aren't seeing each other."

"You're not?"

"No, she likes Seth."

"Wait, what?" Seth piped up.

Roman turned slightly so Seth could hear him. "Sasha likes you. So, don't be an idiot and not ask her out."

"Wow, you're a very mean wingman." Seth began to exit the room. "I'm gonna go find that doctor guy and get this over with."

Rolling his eyes, Roman turned back to Trinity. "The only person I want to be with is you. And if you're carrying my child, then that's just one more reason to love you."

Tears welling up in her eyes, she shook her head in disbelief. "How are you so perfect?"

"Only for you, Bubbles." With that, he kissed her with all the love he had in his body. He finally got his woman and she finally got her man. And there was no way anything would ever get in the way of that ever again. This was home.

The End.

Should there be an Epilogue? Let me know.
