Hey all. I'm not dead, and here' proof of that to anyone who remembers me and the story here. I'll save the absence for the end note, so let's get to the chapter.

Italic: Thoughts/Letters/Journal Entries/Flashbacks

Shadow let out another exasperated sigh as he continued to stare at the ceiling of his cell. Ever since he had given General Ironwood and his team all the knowledge he had on Queen and Lotus he had been treated much better. It was kind of surprising for them to hold up their end of the bargain as he had been expecting them to not follow through, especially since the majority of the humans he interacted with had racial prejudice against him with only few treating him with indifference.

This was a welcome change of pace. A more comfortable bed, better food, heck, even some of the soldiers that he interacted with daily had been pleasant. Much better than he had been treated growing up and his stint with the White Fang.

He always had to fight and prove himself to those around him to get even the slightest amount of respect. It didn't matter if it was humans or Faunus. The few humans that gave him respect only did it begrudgingly, but his fellow Faunus were more of a challenge, ironically. Part of him believed it had to do with the constant adversity that his race faced despite the fact they were the majority of Remnant's population and everyone was constantly trying to get an edge over one another. The more he thought about it, the more it bothered him.

His brothers and sisters of the White Fang were supposed to be his comrades and friends. Yet here he sat in the secure confines of an Atlesian cruiser of the big cheese himself. Sure, it could have been the fact that the White Fang was busy with their mission of carrying out their fights against oppression and that they felt it was suicidal to waste people on trying to do a rescue attempt on him, but it didn't lesson the bitter taste. They were his family, his friends, yet they left him to rot. No one came for him, and as far as he was concerned, no one was coming for him. He was alone and he would be there until Atlas no longer had any use for him.

That last thought scared him. The unknown future of what came when they no longer needed him for information because they either completed their mission with the information he gave them, or he would be replaced by someone who knew more than he did. If that happened, what happened to him? Would they incarcerate him somewhere else? Send him to work hard labor? Could they maybe let him go?

His chest shook with restrained laughter. Not likely.

"Man, who am I kidding? I'm fucked eight ways to Sunday." He stretched out on his mattress.

Then again, there was always other options he could consider. Two, in fact, that he had been working on while he spent his time cooped inside the cell.

His first option was to buy time and try to piece together information he heard between soldiers that talked on shift and in turn twist it to make it seem like he had new information or could give potential insight, but that would be very tricky. Sure, he had lots of information that he heard, but presenting it as something useful to the same crew that knew his tenure with the White Fang would be nothing short of impossible. They would sooner call him out on his lies.

The second option was riskier and life threatening, but realistically his only choice. If he could figure out the patterns of the soldiers on the ship as well as the layout, he could plot his escape and make a break for it in a Bullhead. From what he gathered, he would not be able to make a single mistake and would be compromised the second he started. Even if he managed to subdue his guards, he would have to deal with whatever came his way since there was not a single blind spot on the ship to keep him from being seen. Cameras were in the halls, the deck, and even in the cells.

No way to be subtle long enough to keep his cover. It really was his only option, but only if it came down to Atlas' need for him. He would go through with it if there was anything but him being free to go.

Shadow was broken from his thoughts from a series of small knocks on his door. Much different from the heavier ones he got from Sergeant Green's or the other soldier that delivered his meals. A quick glance at his watch. Dinner time.

He sat up just as the door opened to reveal a short soldier that he had never seen before. She was carrying his food on a platter and he almost felt his mouth water as the delicious scent reached his nostrils. At least the food was good.

"Right on time!" He grinned.

The soldier said nothing in return and lifted the cover to reveal fresh pot roast with mixed vegetables. He took the platter from her and sat back on his bed. He wasted no time in shoveling the food in his mouth like a ravenous dog. It was typically customary for the soldier to wait and talk with him until he finished his food to take all utensils and plates back so they could be cleaned and not used to start trouble.

"Irving off tonight?" Shadow asked her.

The soldier remained quiet and only offered a curt nod back. He shook his head and shoveled another bite into his mouth.

"You new then? Seems kind of weird for Atlas to send a new soldier all the way here." He tried again.

Shadow was met with another shake of the head. Quiet people were always a pain to deal with. They were unpredictable and often dangerous because they were always listening. This soldier was doing the same thing and it made him feel a little uncomfortable. At least with Irving he could talk to the guy and have a laugh or two.

He set his utensils down on tray clapped his hands, giving a loud belch. That may have been the best meal he had since his time on the ship. He may not have been too fond of humans, but the ones on the cruiser here could make some great food.

He felt a sharp pain in his chest and thumped it with a wince. May have eaten too fast. Sometimes he got hiccups and pain if he devoured his meal too quick.

"My compliments to the chef!" He said.

The soldier said nothing and stepped forward to retrieve his tray. When she bent down to take it from him, he met her eyes. Solid green to go with black hair. Pretty cute for a human. He was about to lie back on his bed, but froze when the woman stood up.

It may have been his imagination, but he could have sworn he saw her eyes change. They were green, but then became pink and brown. He blinked and only saw emerald orbs eying him for a moment. She offered him a quirked brow as if waiting for him to ask a question.

"Thanks…" He waved her aside.

The soldier nodded and silently made her way to the door. It closed behind her as she left the room with a number of clicks sounded as the locks went back into place.

That was just his imagination, right? It must have been. No one's eyes could change color like that at will.

His chest flared again and he shifted to his side. This time he gently rubbed it.

"Ouch," he muttered under his breath.

Shadow was about to take his hand off his chest, but the searing pain came back again, sharper and more agonizing than the first time. Something was very wrong here. He sat up on his bunk and tried to take deep breaths to calm himself and to ease the pain, but that only made it worse. He could feel a cold sweat forming on his person and his hands shook as he wiped his face, the sheen on his hand glistening in the light.

He got to his feet and looked at the camera, waving an arm frantically, hoping someone monitoring the screen could see his pleas.

"I need help!" He yelled.

Another sharp pain and hunched over with a gurgled cry. He staggered to the door and hammered on it with his fist with everything he had.

"Help!" His fist thundered on the door, echoing around his cell.

He hunched over again and felt the room sway with his step. Blackness crept at his eyes and he could feel his muscles seizing up and weighing him down. He planted his feet firmly into the floor to keep his balance, but ultimately felt his knees hit them a second later.

"Help, goddamn-it! Help!" He cried out.

The sharp pain in his chest had him at its mercy and he could feel his eyes stinging with tears. He was poisoned. Whoever that was that delivered his food tampered with it before giving it to him.

His mind raced back to the soldier's face and he remembered her eyes. It was not in his mind. That actually happened and he knew only one person that had those eyes.

The door burst open just as he hit the floor. He could hear the urgent cries of the medics, but they were distant, even though they were directly over him and trying to stabilize him. A quick pinch to his arm as a needle injected him with something.

He was screwed.

Adam's eyes fluttered open after hearing the light buzzing coming from his scroll. He had been short on sleep since the failure of the attack on the Schnee Estate. The plan had been compromised prior to that, but they still carried it out at the behest of the wicked woman who currently had him by the balls. His knuckles cracked as his fist clenched at the mere thought of losing more of his brethren to the woman's plans. First Mount Glenn and now this? If this kept up, he would be out of supporters and be facing Sienna's wrath as well.

His scroll buzzed again and he let it go again. He already knew who it was and would not answer it until the last ring. The only positive that came with the talks between the two of them was that it was direct and to the point. Easiest way to settle business with a human in his eyes. At least she had that quality.

He found his scroll and opened it, bringing the receiver to his ear.

"Yes?" He rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"I've taken care of our problem. Shadow is no longer a concern to our plans," Cinder's voice met him.

"You mean your plans."

"Mind your tone with me, Adam."

The threat was blunt and his mind briefly trailed back to his camp that she and her team destroyed when she came back with that power. She had no desire to be tested today.

"As I was saying, Neo has eliminated Shadow. Whatever Atlas is going on is coming from any of your followers that were recovered from the Schnee Estate, which should not be much," she continued.

"I see. Do you at least have an idea on their next move? I know from what my spies told me is that they are looking at Snowpeak Bay and Crystal Harbor from what Junior spilled to them," Adam replied as he sat up on his bed.

He got up from his bed and walked over to his desk where a map was laid on top of it. Snowpeak Bay was locked down now after the Schnee Estate attack, thankfully after they had the last of their stolen shipments safely out of the harbor. All of their supplies was now hidden in their hideout in Solitas to be used later. That left Crystal Harbor as the only logical option. A whole continent away and not as accessible to the Atlas Military save for Ironwood's personal task force he had been using so far that had been a thorn in his side.

"Fortunately for you I have Neo keeping an eye on our dear general to keep us notified, but it will more than likely be Crystal Harbor. My assumption is that they will follow the shipments from the harbor to you," said Cinder.

"I was thinking the same thing given what happened back in Atlas," said Adam.

"This is the perfect opportunity to stop him and his rats."

Adam felt his scroll buzz again and made a note to check the notification sent to him once their conversation was finished.

"I'm in a generous mood, so use those files I sent you to your advantage. End this now, Adam," said Cinder.

"You want me to lure them to us?" Adam leaned on the desk.

"General Ironwood is a dog that will jump at the first chance to dismantle the whole plan. So let's give him what he wants. We give him a trace of our scent and he'll be unable to resist."

While he and Cinder had taken careful planning to ensure their anonymity would remain certain until the Vytal Festival, they were running out of options. Kokuto was in their crosshairs now after the Schnee Estate and was the last line of defense as his field commander as well as their designated method of contact unless absolutely necessary and General Ironwood now knew that. With Shadow now out of the picture, he had to use Kokuto to get their desired result, but thankfully with what they knew and the location, they would have the advantage.

"I'll have Kokuto get his men ready and send them to Mistral," he answered back.

"We have plenty of dust to carry out our plans, so if you have to sacrifice the supply in the hideout to dispose of the general's task force, do it," said Cinder.

"Understood. I'll be sure to pass that information on to Kokuto."

"I will keep you updated on what Neo relays to me so you can adjust as you need to finish this."

Adam nodded to himself at his partner's words and was about ready to hang up and view the files, but Cinder's voice met him once again.

"No more mistakes, Adam. I have come too far for this to fall apart now. Take every measure to stop this before it's too late."

This time Adam was able to detect something else in Cinder's tone. The woman was powerful, no doubt, but she could not hide her fear. It was faint, almost nonexistent, but still present in her last message to him. Whatever privileges she granted him to do this mission only added fuel and curiosity to his belief.

Whoever Cinder was working for carried power greater than hers and the thought alone made a chill go down his spine. He could still smell the scorched earth and flesh of his supporters the day she came back with that power to coerce him to join her cause. The nauseating odor was almost as powerful as the air she carried herself with when she returned to him. Then he saw it for himself. Every element of nature and the seasons on full display in the palm of her hand and the campsite.

He and Kokuto had discussed it with each other from time to time, but both of them drew the same conclusion. That was not a Semblance. It was something else entirely different and more powerful than a Semblance. Almost like something from a fairy tale long forgotten.

The power itself was destructive and he had seen in firsthand. If she could do all of that, just what was her superior capable of doing?

He was broken from his thoughts when the call went dead with a click. The screen met his eyes as he gazed down at the file Cinder had sent him during their talk. His thumb tapped the screen and dozens of portraits met his eyes. These were the members of General Ironwood's task force that had given them so much trouble.

As his eyes took in each photo of the team, he noticed that Cinder had labeled it with a chain of command to help him better plan out the operation. Two of them were side by side and connected by a line and another led out to chart below to the ones under them. He focused his gaze on the two leaders that would be the main targets. Like all command structures the Atlas Military used, you cut off the head, the rest fell into disarray.

"Lieutenant Winter Schnee and Professor Connor Blackburn…" His lips curled up in a cruel smirk.

This was a great start to the day after all. Two humans to make an example of and one of them was the very daughter of the man they just failed to kill. Perhaps his perseverance of dealing with Cinder was starting to pay off. He sent the file to Kokuto and sat down to begin drafting his plan for him.

Ironwood watched the surveillance footage again as the technician rewound it to the point of entry at Shadow's cell. He cupped his chin as his sharp eyes took in every detail that he could and he felt his teeth clench. No matter how many times he saw the event play out, he could not put a finger on the soldier that delivered the meal to his room. With each playthrough he could only feel his frustration grow.

The technician paused the tape again just as the soldier exited Shadow's room before all hell broke loose. His fingers touched at the screen and enhanced it as best as he could. The image was still blurry and facial recognition could not be done. All Ironwood knew was that Queen had made her next move by sending whoever he was looking at in the feed to kill Shadow and keep him from talking any further. He no longer had a direct source of information to help them, but Shadow being silenced showed him that Queen had something to lose and was vulnerable at the moment. They were getting closer and he was sure that one last push to capture Kokuto would be what they needed to uncover her plans.

He had immediately launched an accountability check for all of his personnel to find anyone out of sorts and an investigation to try and track the intruder down, but it would take more time than they had to get an answer with their tight window. If there was ever a time to deal a hit to Queen and Lotus, it was now.

Ironwood straightened up and folded his arms as his mind went to work. He marched over to the massive table in the center of the room where a HUD came into view. His eyes scoured the map and swiftly moved to the two spots that Hei-Xiong spilled to Winter and Blackburn during their visit to his club. Snowpeak Bay and Crystal Harbor.

His finger tapped a key and the HUD dissolved in a swirl of pixels and returned once again with two boxes, one each hovering over the ports. Atlas had locked down Snowpeak Bay after the Schnee Estate attack and searched it from top to bottom to find no SDC supplies which meant that either that was a bad lead or the supplies had already been moved before they locked it down. If it was the latter, it would be very difficult to track given his lack of manpower overlooking his own kingdom, but Ozpin's as well. He was stretched too thin.

Crystal Harbor, however, was another story. It was the only port that was not directly being watched by the Atlas Military, both because of manpower and jurisdiction permission that he would need to receive from both Leo Lionhart and the Mistral Council in order to properly observe. Without that, all he could do was deploy the task force he and Ozpin had been using from the start. It was a stretch, but it was the best they could do for now and it was the only likely option they had. If Kokuto Daichi was anywhere, it would be there.

"Atlas Intelligence contacts have reported surge of activity in harbor within the last two hours. Shipment containers being loaded on trains for delivery to unknown destination," Ironwood read update.

The railroad itself spread throughout Anima with the two longest and major lines heading to Mistral itself and industrial communities along the mountains and farmland. Thankfully out of the public eye which he confirmed days prior with the aid of two White Fang members they captured at the Schnee Estate. Ironwood had both come in separately to identify the spot to avoid any discrepancies and both pointed to the heart of the forest. The station where the supplies would then be taken to the hideout.

The door behind him slid open and he glanced back to see Winter entering the room. She had finished making her rounds and being updated about the security breach, hopefully with some good news.

"Anything?" Ironwood asked.

Winter only shook her head as she moved to stand beside him and look at the map.

"Everyone's accounted for and no one has seen an additional soldier," she replied.

"Regardless, we've been compromised. We need to keep looking for the intruder," Ironwood said in return.

"Of course, Sir. But the fact that we have not found anyone yet has me thinking about something."

Ironwood turned to his young lieutenant with a raised brow of interest. The woman was very shrewd and after spending much time looking at the footage, he may have overlooked something simple and was more than willing to hear his subordinate's input.

"Go ahead," he encouraged her with a nod.

"Perhaps it's a Semblance that is playing us here. I've heard of some that are capable of altering one's perception. Maybe our intruder is one that can alter reality with illusions or themselves," said Winter.

Ironwood blinked, cupping his chin at the suggestion. An interesting theory that wasn't far outside the realm of possibility.

"That may be, but those Semblances are very rare. If Queen has someone like that at her beck and call that makes her more threatening," said Ironwood.

"Rare or not, Sir, it's something I feel we cannot overlook. It would explain how they have somehow vanished into thin air and we can't find a trace of them," Winter said with a shake of her head.

"Sharp as ever, Lieutenant Schnee."

Winter gave a light hearted shrug as he complimented her opinion. A sigh through his nose and another look at the map on top of the information his lieutenant shared with him only amplified his resolve for his next move.

His fingers tapped a couple of keys and another display popped up in front of them. The black screen vanished and was replaced with Ozpin's face.

"James, to what do I owe this call?" Ozpin asked as he folded his hands.

"We have a problem," Ironwood answered his old friend.

"What kind of problem?"

"We have been compromised. Queen has made her next move and killed our informant from the White Fang."

Ozpin's eyes narrowed just a tad at his response. He leaned forward and his eyes shut in quiet contemplation. Something the man did whenever he was processing information that was given to him. Ironwood took this as his sign to continue.

"This happened about four hours ago and we have been spending time trying to figure this out and get control of the situation to come up with a new plan of attack," he said.

He adjusted the screen to allow Ozpin to see the map in front of him and the updated information from Atlas Intelligence. Anything he could give as insight for his longtime friend to bolster the urgency of a decision to be made and to keep him in the loop was something he would always do. In this case, he had to make sure that Ozpin would be willing to act now to allow them to move within the next twenty-four hours. Any longer than that and they ran the chance of losing a trail to track down Kokuto.

With his piece being said, Ironwood's eyes flicked between the map and Ozpin to take in his reaction. One of the many things he could praise the man for was his patience and his poker face in wake of any news that hit him. No doubt from years of trial and error through past experience.

"Is Crystal Harbor under constant watch?" Ozpin finally spoke.

"Yes. Our intelligence teams have HUMINT sources on ground reporting all activity confirming increased activity and more Faunus laborers helping with transportation," said Ironwood.

"Is there any cause to believe the Faunus aren't White Fang?"

"No, and the reason is enclosed in the email I sent you regarding two White Fang members we took at the Schnee Estate. Both of them indicated a train station in the forests of Anima being used to offload supplies to be transported to a hideout they have."

Ozpin's eyes squinted at the map and fell on the marker for Ashwood Station.

"That station is not used much for civilian transportation. If memory serves me right, it's used for shipping and logistical distribution for Anima. It would be the best place for the White Fang to go by undetected," he said as he leaned forward.

"Right. Which is why we need to look into this and pursue the lead. Queen sending someone to kill Shadow only shows we're putting pressure on her and she is vulnerable because of who we are after," said Ironwood.

Ozpin leaned back in his seat and his eyes reverted back to Ironwood.

"Do believe this could be a trap for us, James? It sounds very convincing, but too convenient," said Ozpin.

Ironwood looked down and a sigh escaped him.

"The thought occurred to me, Oz. And honestly, I believe it is. Which is the reason why we still need to take the risk. Queen wants to stop us here and now, so let's spring the trap and end it here before she strikes," he said as he looked up at the spectacled man.

Ozpin let out a low hum of acknowledgement. Both of them knew the risk of the plan at hand by playing into a likely trap, but their hand was being forced. Kokuto Daichi was the key to unraveling Queen's plan and they had to recover him by any means necessary, even if that meant sacrifice. They would be at a disadvantage, but they had one card to play that could help so long as it was answered in a timely manner.

"Very well. I will reach out to Leo and let him know of the situation at hand. We can't send in your military unless we receive approval from the Mistral Council. It's one thing to send in teams of Huntsmen and Huntresses, but a large military force needs clearance," said Ozpin.

"Of course." Ironwood nodded.

"How soon do you need an answer?"

Ironwood looked at his watch. Ideally he would want the answer as soon as possible, but given the fact that politics were in play, he and Ozpin could only express the urgency of the request and hope for the best. He would have their task force ready to deploy by early evening to allow them to prepare.

"No later than six tonight. Even if we don't hear from them by then I will have forces on standby outside Anima's borders for fast insertion when we are given the green light. Until then, we will send in our chosen team to handle it," said Ironwood.

Ozpin nodded in agreement.

"I can do that. I will let you know the minute I get an answer for the request," he said.

A smile worked its way across Ironwood's face.

"Thank you, Oz." He bowed his head.

"Now that brings up our last matter. Who do you wish to have on this team?" Ozpin asked.

Ironwood then turned his eyes to Winter who had been silently listening to the whole conversation. She had been the field commander for the joint missions so far and had done very well since the shaky start and it would ultimately be up to her.

The lieutenant straightened up and cleared her throat.

"I would like to request Team CFVY and Team RWBY for this mission, Sir." Winter's eyes met Ozpin's.

The headmaster nodded from his side of the screen.

"I will notify them of the mission and have them report to you in two hours. Professor Blackburn will be going with you as well to act as your secondary team leader," said Ozpin.

Ironwood noted a small flicker of uncertainty in Winter's eyes, but it vanished instantly. He had noticed that the two of them seemed to not be on speaking terms after what took place at the Schnee Estate. While both of them were professionals, he would be lying if he felt confident in their teamwork at the moment, but he would not sacrifice the team's chemistry in place for someone else. Both of them needed each other to sort out their conflict and to back each other up.

"I will let you two go so you can prepare. We'll talk again soon," said Ozpin.

With that, the screen went to black and closed from the HUD. Silence filled the room and was only broken by the gentle key strokes from the technicians working the consoles nearby.

"While I trust you and Blackburn to get the job done, you need to resolve whatever the issue is between you two before you step off tonight," said Ironwood.

Winter's eyes held some mild surprise at his comment, but he did not give her a chance to feign it for long. It was clear she was uncomfortable with whatever it was. He put a firm hand on her shoulder and made sure she was looking him in the eye. While they were subordinates, Ironwood viewed the young woman in front of him like his own daughter at times and he would be direct and honest with her if he felt she needed that push to the right path.

"I know it's not going to be easy for you, but I'm not suggesting this to you, Winter. I'm telling you that you will do this before you step off tonight. Do you understand me?" He asked in a firm yet gentle tone.

He felt her take a deep breath and she nodded back to him and a small smile came to his face.

"Yes, Sir," said Winter.

We'll end it there. Another short chapter, but this is building up to more action coming next chapter and it gave me the chance to get into the swing of things again after being gone for so long. Now the reason I was gone was because of life. To list the big contributors, I was jobless through October, got a couple new jobs, two civilian and my job as company commander puts it at three jobs which is a lot of time and it culminated into stress as well as a break off with a girl I liked that left me completely shattered, unmotivated, and depressed and I didn't feel I could talk to anyone and I didn't want to burden anybody with what I going through, so I held it in and dealt with it for a long time. I'm feeling much better now and I hope you are all doing well with this Coronavirus Pandemic. Thank you all so much for the support, you guys. You have no idea how much all of your feedback means to me. This story is only successful as it is because all of you have stuck with it and I have all of you to thank for that, so thank you. I aim to finish this story this year since I now have my motivation back, so look for updates coming by the month as of now. Check out the statements below and until then, I'll see you guys next time!

Statements:

1.) Don't forget about the poll regarding a possible sequel to the story here. It will remain up until the end of the story and can be found on my profile. Be sure to get there and vote if you haven't yet!

2.) The story has fanart! I have done a lot of work with an artist on DeviantArt who has done work for my story here. You can find the art on my DeviantArt profile "CaptainPrice007" in my gallery and there is a folder relating to Displaced. Check it out if you're interested!

3.) Volume 7 of RWBY was a mixed bag for me. Personally felt it was the best since Volume 3, but the execution towards the end shattered and ruined it for me when it had the potential to be "The Empire Strikes Back" of RWBY. The grey morality was well explored and left the fandom divided on who was right in the end which is good, but the character development and plot wise it really made me scratch my head at points, especially the end. Personally I was on Ironwood's side in the end because I can relate to him more than RWBY due to my line of work. Other than that, it may have been coincidental, but I feel CRWBY keeps stealing my thunder with plots points and ideas.

4.) I now have a forum for the story here where you can not only see a soundtrack that follows the story and get exposed to music, but it will also be updated as the story goes on to be filled with OC information and fun facts if you all are interested. The forum is CaptainPrice's FOB here on the site for those that wish to explore that bit.

Review Responses:

th34n1m3m4n: Yup, I lreally iked Church's monologue about heroes at the end of Season 13 and wanted give a nod to it here. Thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed the story so far.

Beans: Thank you for the review and I would like to welcome you to it! Thank you for the compliment on my writing. I'm glad it's good in your eyes. It makes my day when people like it.

hapyjohn: Thank you for the review and the follow, bud! Hopefully the chapter here was to your liking.

No One Important: Thank you so much for the review and the critique! I'm glad you feel the characters are well fleshed out and that you believe my handling of it has been well done. I worked hard on it. I'm even more glad you binged it after finding it by accident! Thanks a bunch, man.

Yebo: Yup, I updated it and I updated it again just now. It's not dead yet. Thanks for the review!

Ken-Y: I'm happy you believe that the story is amazing, so thanks for the compliment. Now I will be honest, I will not do Naruto stories because I'm not passionate about the series that much anymore and to add to that, lemons are a no go.

Tomiya Shiro: Thanks for dropping a review, dude! I'm glad you believe that the story has been handled well and that the character development and interactions seem real. That's honestly one of the best compliments I remember seeing in a review in a while.

OBSERVER01: Thanks man, it's good to be back! Thanks for being a consistent reviewer for the story and yeah, you'll see Blackburn dealing with that knowledge soon enough. I wanted to do a take on Velvet that seemed plausible to show something different outside of the timid girl we see in a lot of stories here. I feel deep down she can be capable of being cold like that if push comes to shove and protecting those she loves.

CT7567Rules: Glad the chapter was worth the wait for you, man. I appreciate the review, but I would have to say that the Starship Troopers reference went over my head there with the gun, solely because although I have heard of the movie I have not seen it, plus looking at the rifle, it doesn't really suit my taste for what I was going for because although I wanted something modern day, I also wanted to play into the RWBY rule of it also being a melee weapon and its design suited my idea perfectly.
