A/N: Greetings everyone... wiErD here... I'm finally able to publish my very own Fairy Tail x Highschool DxD that everyone is waiting for. Sorry for the long wait since I've been running with many stories as of now so this one would be receiving rarely updates like the other ones and can only get regular updates once I focused on this. Oh, and Issei would be less perverted as he is from canon. I liked his badassery more than his perverse side.

Here's the prologue of the story.

Disclaimer: I don't own everything except my plots... All goes to their respective authors. Support the official releases.

...

Kuoh Academy... (Morning..)

A sliver of light was the first thing Natsu saw of the world before him. His head slowly arched and his eyes flickered open for the first time since falling asleep. He tried adjusting himself to his surroundings to the bright and vibrant classroom of where he's currently at. It seemed like classes are still going on.

A disgruntled groan came out from his lips, visibly irked at his short and interrupted slumber.

The cause of this uncomfortable awakening was due to the dream earlier. Images of flames rose from the earth and brought forth an image of a red sky. Thick smoke covered the air and the moon was eerily dyed in red. He would always find himself amid that background and would stare at the darkened sky which seemed to have been obscured by something. He couldn't make up of the thing that was covering the night sky, only that he knew that it was large.

It's already been two weeks ever since and he kept experiencing the same dream over and over again. It was pretty normal for him before he became aware of the recurring dream. He thought it was just something that he ate but he knew that his hunger wasn't to blame here.

Nevertheless, it was becoming too much of an annoyance that he can't even sleep well at night without dreaming about that scene once.

Yawning silently from his seat at the corner of the room, he outstretched his arms in front of him to squeeze out the remaining drowsiness he might have in his system.

However, as he was recomposing himself, a mild tap was heard in front of the table as all eyes of the other classmates darted over to him. He looked towards the front and saw the teacher slamming a stick right on her desk which was the cause of the unwanted noise.

"Hyoudou Natsu. I see that you're awake now. Care to explain your reasons for falling asleep?" There was a hint of a displeased tone on her voice as the class went quiet all of a sudden. Their attention fell towards him much to his irritation for being the center of it.

He did not want to be in the spotlight at a time like this.

"No, none at all... Just tired." He bluntly replied, causing at least some of the other classmates to chuckle for his straightforwardness though that can't be said for the teacher. Her discontent evidently shown by the facial look she was having right now.

"Oh, I see... While I'm surprised that you're being honest this time, I still have you to report for detention after class so be warned, mister." After informing of the punishment, the teacher returned to teaching, subsiding the intense stare of the other students.

The pinkette breathed a sigh of relief before gazing towards the window right beside him in contemplation.

It was a normal daily occurrence for him to be sent to detention like this. It was a miracle that he managed to get all through middle-school without ever getting repeated at the same time. His grades were average but his relationship with his teachers was downright incompatible. It's not like he had any ill will against them. It's just that he didn't want to be bothered by them all the time. The lectures were so boring and he bore himself to sleep every time.

The only thing that kept him following these rules is his parents.

I mean, who wouldn't want to have such a problem child in the family? If lectures from the teachers weren't enough, his parents were there to straighten him out, much to his embarrassment.

Of course, it was not all doom and gloom for him. He still had some connections with other students who were more open to him rather than judging him by his personality and bizarre hair color?

That's right. Most of the students seemed to think of him as a problem child because of his pink hair. It's not like you'd see a person having pink hair that often. So much so that rumors had started spreading towards him. There are even some that thought that he purposedly dyed his hair to make himself cool or some sort.

It's his natural hair color, dammit!

Taking in a second sigh underneath his breath, the pinkette lowered his head to rest upon his arms while looking wearily at the teacher, teaching kinds of stuff and other crap.

'Screw studies! I wanna go home and sleep!' is what he wanted to say but he refrained from letting it escape from his lips. He didn't want his parents to come up to school for a second time this semester.

And with that, he simply closed his eyes once more to sleep as he skillfully maneuvered his body to make it seem like he was looking at a book. There shouldn't be any problems as long as he doesn't get called out again.

And thankfully, it worked as the class failed to catch his napping time and didn't bother him, save for a few ones who were near his seat but they honestly couldn't care to call him out anyway.

He felt his body loosen for a bit as the drowsy feeling crept back to his eyes. He would hope that the same dream wouldn't have to interrupt him this time.

...

The sound of a ringing bell sprung him back to life as his eyes twitched open once again to greet his surroundings. His eyes traced towards his classmates as some of them were seen leaving the room while a few others stayed behind to converse with their friends.

It was already lunchtime.

He didn't waste any time and geared himself to enjoy this free time to eat peacefully in the cafeteria. Aside from his wake-up call, his stomach was already demanding an appetite, feeling the silent rumble as he rubbed his hand towards it.

"Another detention again huh, Natsu..." A male voice caused him to turn his head from his side as Natsu adjusted his head and met up with the person face to face.

The boy's name was Hyoudou Issei, his brother. While he was siblings with the brunet, they are not actually related by blood and the color of their hair was different from each other. He was one of the few people in this school who had a close relationship with him despite his poor image.

Well, not that they're different anyway. Both of them had bad reputations although Issei had it worse due to his rather... extreme impulses about his thoughts on women.

"Looks like it." He sighed as he turned his head back and made a stretch with both arms to shake off the lingering sleepiness.

"You know, mom and dad are not gonna like it if it keeps going and though it has nothing to do with me but still-" He was cut in mid-sentence as Natsu began to speak for himself.

"It's fine. It's just the start of the second spring semester and this is just the first so no worries." He gave a thumbs-up while donning a rather dumb look on his face which only made the brunet sigh in resignation.

"Come on, Natsu. It's not like it's going to keep them from getting too worried. And I'm the one who had to face them whenever something at school involves you."

"Well, it's not like you're any different anyways. Do you know how much trouble I had to endure whenever you were caught peeping? Honestly, you might as well have a chance at winning a lottery than getting a girlfriend with that perverted nature of yours." He quipped as Issei retorted in response.

"Being perverted is a way of becoming real men, Natsu! It's more fun than you being... uhh... uninterested to girls and oppais!"

"The voice! Tone down the voice!" He boldly reminded as silent as he could, shushing the proud boy of their conversation. Their current reputation is bad enough as it is.

Unfortunately, his declaration caught the attention of the other students, mainly of the girls who could only look at them in scorn and disgust. Natsu inwardly groaned to himself having caught in the crossfire. He did not want another rumor spreading about him and his brother at this point.

"Ah shit." Issei clamped his mouth with his hands, though failing miserably now that the murmurs towards them started to throw around the room.

"Eh, seriously?"

"He really can't keep it to himself, can he?"

"Natsu too. It looks like he's already part of their trio all along."

"Really? Well, they're brothers after all."

The two could only look at them with awkward expressions as the atmosphere towards them was becoming more unpleasant, partly for the pinkette at least. This only got worse when his eyes caught two more males of the same class coming over to their corner. Natsu just knew that this day wasn't going to be smooth for him without anything to make his life at school miserable than it is.

The two new boys just casually waved their hands towards them as if like best friends on a Saturday night out at a friend's place.

"Yo! Issei! I see you have been talking again with your brother, huh? Quite a straightforward answer right there! Maybe you should share your thoughts too, Natsu-kun!" The boy with glasses smiled with a thumbs-up towards the brunet, much to his panic since he and the other boy seemed unaware of the awkward and hostile atmosphere surrounding them. Or that they were doing this on purpose after catching a shit-eating grin plastered on his face for a moment to which Natsu had caught on despite not paying attention at them just now.

'Motohama, you bastard!'

Nevertheless, it only exacerbated the current situation for him now that the three of them are conversing with him. A sign for most of the students whenever they saw those three came together as a group. They even had a name for the three.

The Perverted Trio. Something that no one else but them was seemingly proud of.

"N-No thanks, Motohama. How about you ask Matsuda instead." He directed his question away from him, hoping that he didn't have lure himself to their shenanigans. It was bad enough being at odds with a teacher and most certainly, he needed some of that peace and quiet.

"Glad that you asked, my friend. To be honest, I'm quite disappointed with a lot of new transferees this semester." The baldy male expressed his dismay.

Issei and Motohama turned their heads towards Matsuda in question. "And why is that?"

"There's been a huge disparity between lolis and onee-san types as of late. Don't get me wrong, I like oppais as much as the next guy but I find myself more at peace whenever I see those cute lolis doing cute things. Oh, and didn't I say flat is justice?"

Immediate restraining order!

If Natsu had anything to chew into his mouth, he would've bawled out faster than a sneeze and probably choke on it just by hearing that sentence. There were just so many wrongs leading up to that kind of statement. And he had to reboot his brain for a bit to make sure that he wasn't just mishearing it. Fairly enough, Issei had the same reaction as he was and was glad to have the lolicon's head answering with a fist to the face just for blurting something outrageous in front of many people without restraint.

"Oi! Too loud, you creep!"

Meanwhile, Matsuda placed a finger to his glasses, adjusting it in the form of a cool pose. "Hnn, hnn." He nodded silently, dismissing the boy sprawling on the floor and continued like usual. "Now that you said it, it does kinda look that way. At this point, we would only have to indulge ourselves in the big ones. There should be a balance at work here."

"Don't just agree to it!" Natsu raised his voice a bit. Cold sweat dripped on the side of his head. Seriously! Do these guys have some damage to their brains or something? He swore that every word escaping from their lips could be easily taken out of context and worse, start more rumors that would really put the final nail to the coffin of whatever decency they have to society.

Natsu sighed in exasperation. "Haaa... You guys really need to watch what you're saying. Do you talk to other people like that? I'm actually more worried about your future than what you're doing in this school now."

"It can't be helped. We're bad as it is. Why not make the best of it?" Matsuda shrugged his shoulders with a shaking head.

One heck of a reason, that one. It's such a miracle no one had filed a complaint about their misconduct on school grounds. And honestly, the pinkette didn't bother to know more than that. At this point, whatever good reputation they had left would turn for a steep dive and probably would be hard to restore if they keep talking like this.

"Well, since you have a bad reputation like us, why not join us and strive for our goal to create a harem in this recently co-ed school?!" Motohama suggested as he seemed to be fine now even after that hard punch from Issei.

Natsu passed a disapproving wave on his hand before they could have the chance to speak. "No thanks. I'd rather not have myself be beaten up by most of the girls here in this school than risking for some stupid oppai."

"IT'S NOT STUPID!" Both three shouted in irritation towards him, deafening his hears in close proximity as he instantly rocked his body backward away from them.

"What the hell? You three could've broken my ear, dammit!"

"You started it! You said oppais are stupid!"

"I bet you never even experienced one!"

They hurled insults towards him. Even Issei for that matter. Seriously, he thought he was on his side for a moment back there.

"I never did once and would never be in the million years," He flatly stated which only shocked the three, who on the other hand, turned stone-faced due to the shocking answer to them.

"He really did say it... He's not a man."

"Hey, Natsu. Just to be sure. You're not gay, are you?"

"You want to get sent to the clinic?" He stared at Matsuda coldly as he clenched his free hand into a fist.

Hoping to avoid this prevailing awkwardness, he simply sighed and lowered his hand in the process. "Anyways, I'll just go get some lunch."

He really didn't need this. He stood up from his seat and made his way towards the nearest exit. The students near the exit gave way, seemingly intimidated by his recent daunting display towards the duo. In their minds, they probably got a little frightened by it which is why most of them don't dare to talk to him openly or start a conversation with him. He sighed in frustration, knowing that this would make his life at school more jarring from now on. He rambled on his inner thoughts, walking further as more students gave way like he was a leader of a gangster or something. The other people gave way as well from the outside of the room to avoid him but their eyes were caught on by something.

Something?

As reached to the exit leading to the corridor, his eyes soon caught sight of a red hair flowing right past his view which prompted him to halt his musings. A woman walked right past the hallway with red hair as the other students, male and female alike, stopped for a moment and watched the spectacle. She was not the only one though. Beside her was another woman which had the same eminence that carried an air of mystery and allure. She had long silky black hair tied by an orange ribbon in a ponytail that reached to her legs. All the students who happened in their vicinity had stopped to admire their cruise before realizing their flushed looks as soon as their presence got far.

Natsu had himself among the bystanders with the same sentiment but the prevailing thought of his dream and his conversations with the trio snapped him back to reality. He almost felt like he was being hypnotized if he had to describe that kind of feeling. He slowly watched the duo turn to a corner and was about to head on the other direction when he noticed a small glimpse of the crimson-haired woman's gaze towards him before disappearing from the halls.

A moment of trance soon followed until the three boys from earlier also arrived by the door, missing the wonderful spectacle of the woman walking right past the hallway.

"Ah damn, we missed them." Matsuda gritted.

"Who was that girl?" Natsu asked in confusion, not entirely aware that such a person was attending this school.

"Rias Gremory... 99-58-90. A senior and the president of the Occult Research Club. She's rumored to come from Scandinavia. The woman beside her would be Akeno Himejima... 102-60-89. Also a senior and the vice-president of the same club." Motohama explained.

"I didn't ask for the sizes though." Natsu lightly smacked the perverted boy's head for giving out unnecessary information.

"I'm surprised that you never even knew her. Well normally, she stays around the old building just on the other side of the campus and she rarely comes out." Matsuda stated.

"Is that so?" He trailed his voice in thought.

"What's with the question? I thought you weren't interested in girls at all." All three soon turned towards him in curiosity.

"It's nothing. I just felt something wrong or ominous when I saw her."

That's right. There was nothing perfectly normal about her appearance just now. He might be paranoid for thinking too much but it seemed like that woman must be hiding something. The aura around her was something out of the ordinary. Something out of this world. Something not entirely human. The same goes for that Himejima girl as well. It may not have the same level of suspicion but it was there and he couldn't help but be cautious for a moment.

Something tells him that he should not associate with them at all.

Not that he would want to anyway, considering his circumstances at school. Plus, he heard along the lines of other people murmuring about the two as they were out of sight.

From what he could gather, the two were dubbed as Kuoh Academy's Two Great Onee-sans: Rias being the number one while Akeno earning the second spot. He had no idea how that kind of nickname manage to come to light but considering that this was once an all-girls' school recently turned coed, it's not uncommon for female students to select someone of exotic beauty to be their role models. There's also that club of theirs that keeps popping up in between.

Occult Research Club was it?

Apparently, it was a club that centered around studying the supernatural. Not sure how he would make out with that one. He wondered what kind of club activity they were conducting in that kind of expertise. It would be shocking if it were really true.

Nevertheless, he might need to avoid them from now on.

"I can't say that I'm surprised either. Her aura is definitely strong and... arousing." Motohama drooled which only made the other boys look at him in disgust.

"Anyway, thanks for the unwanted information, I'll just have to get my food."

"Ah, Natsu. Would you also buy me some food? Sorry but I have a schedule running up this lunch with Matsuda and Motohama so..." Issei pleaded with his arms clasped together for added effect. The excuse was easily seen through him and was answered only with a grimace.

"Alright. Just don't get yourself killed, Issei. There are more things valuable than oppais." He advised though he knew that it won't engrave right inside his brother's mind like that easily, seeing his glee with the other two and the weird faces as they talked about their supposed 'schedule', whatever that is.

With nothing more to do, Natsu glanced around and turned to the other direction before disappearing into a corner. He followed the path downstairs, leading up to the ground floor of the building and lined up with the other students who were also waiting in line. It didn't take a few minutes for his turn as he took out a simple meal from the cafeteria along with some drinks for himself before settling himself towards the edge of the table in the far corner and started eating.

The other students kept a safe distance from him but he didn't care.

This was the only time he could enjoy his time during school. Filling up an empty stomach and eating without interruptions was heaven to him. He didn't care about mingling with peers. He wanted to savor this time on his own without anyone interrupting him.

'Aaaah, that hit the spot!'

He playfully hummed in thought as he savored the moment to satiate his hunger and thirst. Man, being human was the best.

He was content with the life he had right now. A normal family and a slightly... perverted brother is enough.

Slightly was such an understatement though.

After eating his fill, he then ordered a handful of snacks for Issei and started his journey back towards his classroom but stopped afterward, seeing the bell rang right before he could even enter the door. Thinking for a moment, he pondered about going in or not. After experiencing the last callout from his last class, he figured that he should just spend the day somewhere around the school instead. He didn't want to risk another call from his parents or the principal for that matter.

Taking a step away from the classroom doors, Natsu walked upstairs and eventually turned to settle down on the rooftop to clear his mind there. With the food still fresh on his hands, he placed it right down on the ground and decided to also lie right next to it. He rested his back against the railings and sat for a while, facing the clear sky with contemplation. A warm breeze of wind swept past through his cheeks and hair locks, swaying them gently as it passed by. The sound of the wind hummed in his ears like a lullaby, giving his body a soft and comfortable feeling to ease the stress. Slowly, a wave of drowsiness came back as his eyes immediately closed and rested once more throughout the day.

Unknown to him, a white-haired figure was seen standing right below the school grounds, gazing above the rooftop and stared stoically at the back of the sleeping figure before turning her attention back to the old building in secret.

...

Natsu woke up just right after the last bell and headed downstairs ack to his room. A few students were seen leaving their classrooms, indicating the end of classes for today. He arrived shortly after a few minutes, finding it empty as most of his classmates are already gone. The only thing left was his bag slung on the side of his chair. He didn't see Issei around, finding the lack of bag on his desk. At least, he could've waited for him.

Quickly grabbing the bag, the pinkette made his way downstairs and into the schoolyard where he could see several students doing their late club activities. He diverted his original course and made fora detour towards the entrance to avoid getting caught by the teacher. He intended to forget about the detention as he went straight towards the gate in which he saw a familiar figure waiting for him.

"Yo! Issei!" He waved before finally catching up to him. It was not before long he was smacked to the head by the brown-haired boy with a pissed off look.

"Where the hell have you been?! I was so hungry throughout the class and have been holding it up ever since!"

"Whoops. My bad. I skipped but I bought your food." Natsu apologized before giving him the food he ordered earlier, much to his delight.

"Thought so. It's not so uncommon for a delinquent like you."

"I'm not a delinquent."

"You're seriously about to if you don't stop that bad habit of yours." Issei reminded.

"Class is boring. I'm surprised that you and the others were able to cope up with it."

"For once just listen to the class. You're really gonna get in trouble with your grades if you fail this semester." Issei insisted with a little bit of worry present in his voice.

"Is that so? Well, I'll just wing it when it comes." He rested his hands behind his head, sporting a toothy grin that spelled out that everything is going to be fine in the end.

If Issei hadn't gotten used to that smile of his, he would've smacked him in the head for not taking it seriously. However, during the years of their childhood together, it was always the same type of response he would get from him whenever things looked grim for him. He could recall an example in his memories about that one time the two of them got into a fight with a group of boys in the other neighborhood. He was young at that time and was a little bit of a crybaby. And those boys kept bullying him for his speaking about his dreams of getting a harem. They would call him a creep or even outright insult him to the point that they were just diminishing his self-worth. And honestly, he would've just stopped thinking about getting harem If he didn't intervene that day.

He could still recall it vividly how Natsu charged onto one of the kids and threw him off the ground. He was so mad that he didn't even care to take a look at the said kid and went on to punch the next one like a real man. Despite his short size, his explosive onslaught towards the group shocked them and got them fleeing but not before leaving a message that they would come for them the next time they saw them.

Issei was so scared and worried that they might actually come for him if given the chance. He was bruised all over due to the hits he got from the tussle and honestly, not something a kid would handle if they had the same condition but the only thing that eased him was that one single toothy grin.

'Leave it to me!'

It was the reassurance that blew all of his fears and worries away. He would just smile and dust it off like it was another day for him. And it was on that day that he stopped crying and followed his dreams ever since. He also gained some sort of respect for him and was his source of encouragement through and through. Even if it was something about his pervertedness, Natsu had always given him the same treatment and was one of the only people he could openly share his perverted desires without getting scorned.

It's such a shame that the people at their school couldn't see through the kindness Natsu had towards the people he cared for. Compared to him who had accepted his bad reputation, the pinkette's image was just misplaced. So misplaced.

Regardless, he seemed fine with it.

He guessed he could tone down his pervertedness for a bit just for his brother.

"I know. Anyways, we better head back. Mom and Dad are probably worried."

"Seems like it." And with that, the two simply walked their way towards the street as the sun sets towards the western skies before darkness slowly crept its way on the other side of the globe, signifying the end of the day.

It didn't take them long enough to reach their home as both of them entered inside, setting their belongings at the side and went towards the living room where they saw their parents.

"Ah, welcome back, you two. How's school?" Their mother asked.

"We're good." Natsu lied though Issei simply smiled and went along with him for the sake of not worrying them.

"I'm glad. We're about to have our dinner so be sure to come downstairs, okay?" The two brothers nodded in response before turning over towards the staircase and went to their separate rooms.

Natsu carelessly dropped his bag and crashed on the bed, seemingly tired after a day's worth of misunderstandings and bothersome problems. He glanced sideways, thinking about the recurring dream earlier in his class. Although it might seem unusual to be able to remember vividly as that, he felt that it had to do something about his past. He didn't know but he thought that might be something that was related to him before he was adopted to the Hyoudou household.

It's already been seven years since that happened and he already moved on along with the life of being together with his newfound family.

A knock soon came out from his door as Issei's voice soon resounded over to the walls.

"Natsu. Dinner's ready. Mom asked me to fetch you downstairs."

"I'm quite full. Eat without me." There was no response for a moment until he heard him finally gave up and went downstairs to eat along with their parents.

The darkened room was accompanied with the faint illuminating light of the moon just beside his window as a small gust went inside, causing the curtains to move and revealed much of the outside world to him as he saw the clear sky with the moon being the center of the background, prompting him to gaze at it momentarily before a heavy wave of drowsiness came about and overwhelmed his body, eventually succumbing him to slumber.

He had a feeling that he might experience the same dream once again.

...

"Are you sure about this?" A female voice was soon heard from behind the darkened room. Her presence obscured from the darkness towards the other female who was standing still at the open window, facing the bright moon illuminating the night sky. Her crimson hair basked at the light, giving its dominant red color despite the poor lighting. A set of candles placed on different places on the room, compensated for the lack of light entering into the room. Nevertheless, it was enough rather than having the light of the night to make up for it. Surely enough though, the light of the night skies seemed to illuminate far more this time than the candles inside.

"I cannot be right all the time, Akeno. That's why I'm having you and Koneko to observe those two."

"And you want me to observe this person. I don't sense something inside of him?" The woman named, Akeno asked curiously.

"A woman's intuition." She chuckled, almost at the point of being playful of the conversation.

"Ara~ I never thought you for the type to rely on intuitions." Akeno voiced out in amusement. A mischievous smile curling up to her lips as she looked at her in anticipation.

"The boy may not look special on the outside but I do sense something rather different from what I've seen from the others so far."

"And you want to find out why?" Akeno clarified.

"Exactly. Although it might come as a stretch for our resources, it's worth a look. Plus, with him being related to the other boy, there's a chance that they might both possess the same results." The red-haired female smiled as she turned back from her gaze and into the shadows where Akeno was standing.

"Alright. I trust you on this, Buchou." Akeno reaffirmed.

"We should also make some preparations. There are a lot of uninvited guests coming over to this town as of late."

"What are we going to do with them, Buchou?"

"For now, we shall ignore them and stay on alert. They are not making a move yet and there are no reports of any incidents involving them as well but we can't be too sure of their stay here. In the meantime, we shall focus on the two."

"Of course."

And with that, Akeno disappeared from the shadows, leaving the red-haired beauty to stare into the sky once more as the small wind blew past right in front of her, causing her hair to flow gracefully as the night went on.

The names of the two brothers hung on her mind as she glanced over to the table and sat on her chair. Two small photos lay in front of the desk, both taken from the student records per her request from Akeno to study their backgrounds. She recollected her thoughts about them and pondered about what she found so far.

Hyoudou Issei. A boy with normal parents. Fairly a normal young man with normal lifestyles except for his extreme pervertedness on the school grounds. He seemed to have a normal childhood as well but ever since entering high school, his perverted impulses had become more apparent. There were numerous reports, particularly from the Kendo Club or anywhere on the female changing rooms of his peeping along with two other accomplices. None of them were able to make a successful attempt but there were instances of infiltration done albeit, shortly before getting caught and beaten to submission.

She lightly chuckled at the vain attempts that transpired within the notes she had read about him. He seemed like a decent person outside of that perverted personality. If he had any nefarious purposes, he would've done something akin to a crime. Maybe he was just a little too honest about his desires that he seemed to can't hold back on it at all times. She had experience in assessing people. The boy could be reliable when the situation calls for it. That's what she thought about him as she continued to evaluate him.

And then, there's Hyoudou Natsu.

Born in the same year as Issei and apparently, was an adopted member of the family. According to the reports, he had taken the name of the Hyoudou seven years ago in which the family had taken the liberty of raising the abandoned child as one of their own. The history behind this was somehow quite suspicious.

There were no written reports of the name Natsu in any of the orphanages all over the town. The name only came up when he had registered his name on the city hall records after taking the Hyoudou name. Perhaps there were inconsistencies in the reports but she had them double-checked just in case and it was the same as she had received a few days ago. Maybe the problem lies in the family itself.

Maybe the parents had found the boy abandoned somewhere in those last seven years and had been given the name. That would explain the missing record of the boy in the past before that. She considered getting information from outside of the town about the name but that would be out of her jurisdiction and the resources as of now would not let her.

There are still some holes she wanted to poke into about his history. Such as the history before his adoption to the Hyoudou family. There were no attempts on the parents to know about the boy since she didn't receive any report regarding that. She didn't want to pry too much as she respected the privacy of people who were yet to be involved or uninvolved in their affairs but it's instances like this that she had to make sure that they were not stepping blindly into the fray without knowing their target.

On their side of the world, information was key. Whether it came from their enemies or recruit prospects, they had to make sure that everything they know must be dug up.

After all, you can never be too sure of what they're hiding.

Background aside, she also assessed the boy's other characteristics. He seemed to have the same bad reputation as that of his brother, probably due to the students who put extreme prejudice of his interactions on the class as well as his brother and his band of misfits. She can attest to that as seen in one of the instances where he helped the Kendo Club in bringing their equipment back after practice. The members seemed open to talking with the guy and found nothing of what they heard from the others about him was true.

Of course, this would not last long as Natsu had distanced himself from the club due to the growing rumors about him and his apparent delinquency. Maybe he knew the implications of his poor image to the club so he tried to minimize their contact as much as possible, much to the dismay of the others. They even went out their way to invite him but he politely declined their offer and simply told them not to worry about it.

He does seem kind of a good person but it seems the rumors cannot help him in that regard.

She rubbed her temples in frustration about the situation. She had to hand to him for being able to stay the same even after all the bad rep he got. And honestly, she wanted at the very least help to ease the situation but that would stir a lot of eyes on her end. The reputation of one of the Two Great Onee-sans and the one of the academy's problem child would definitely get the school in an uproar. Not to mention, it would escalate rather than dissipate.

Haaa. At times like these, she felt her title in the school was deadweight to her. She didn't even intend to have herself known at school but apparently, it did along with Akeno. It's one of the reasons why she couldn't bother talking to someone except the members of her club for that matter. They mostly saw her as the woman adored as the Great Onee-san, not as herself. But enough about her for now.

She could only smile in expectation as she looked at the two photos.

'I wonder what Sona is doing nowadays. Maybe I should pay her a visit tomorrow about something.'

Her musings continued for a while before fading back into the night as the moon shone above her in full display.

A/N: Here's the prologue for you guys. Sorry for the long wait. As you can see, I tweaked Natsu affiliation by being an adopted brother from the Hyoudou residence to fit in with the crossover. Originally, I was intending to replace Issei with Natsu but after thinking about it for quite some time, I decided to keep them both together.

Of course, there's the question of a harem. My decision for the girls to be chosen for Natsu and Issei is a big question mark for me. I don't have the slightest idea of how to incorporate two harems in a story. Usually, it's only one and I don't want to prioritize too much on them and just focus on the story progression. Some of you wanted a Natsu-centric fic and I quite agree since it's difficult to focus on the perspective of two main characters in an AU environment. Though my decision would have to be a slightly Natsu-centric one since it started from him. That doesn't mean I would leave Issei out in the water too much.

Natsu will be a little OOC here but I will be mixing his canon personality bit by bit as the story progresses.

That's all for now. Feel free to PM me for questions about the story and I'll try to reply as soon as I can.
