Dear Readers,
It's been a long time. There's some of you that have probably stopped caring, some that have been waiting patiently, and others not so patiently.
I get it. Trust me, I do.
Sometimes you read something and you want to know how it ends but you have to wait. Sometimes for a long time for something, other times for nothing.
It's time for the good news and the bad news.
Let's go with the bad first.
The Bad News: the official stories I'm working on aren't being published today.
The Good News: I've outlined five stories completely. There are others I'm working on as well but they're progressing a little more slowly.
I didn't just spend all this time doing nothing. I've been busy working on graduating from college, which finally happened for me. And I've hit a few roadblocks concerning my own physical well being
I've cleared them and have a clean bill of health right now and looking to keep it that way.
Now some of you are wondering why I didn't say anything sooner or publish anything, well, I just didn't have the time. Others things needed my attention in my own life, so I put those ahead on my list of priorities.
Some of you probably think this is bullshit, which I get. I've said I was coming back before but life has a way of pulling you away from your hobby. You don't keep life waiting. The World waits for nobody.
To those of you who are excited that Nikon Asturias is back. Here's what you have to look forward to: Stories with protagonists that are in character and develop, face problems and deal with them in realistic manners, stories that avoided making Mary/Gary Stu characters that solve everything, and, most importantly, no self-inserts.
I've worked to make all these plotlines as original as can be.
If you read David Gemmell, Frank Herbert, Joe Abercrombie, Iain M. Banks, Larry McMurtry, Steven Pressfield, Jennifer Robinson, or Robin Hobb. I welcome you to stay and enjoy the show.
Here's a list of fully outlined projects:
Man or Monster: Tokyo Ghoul/Bleach
Kurosaki Ichigo has moved on from the Winter War, living a private life in Tokyo. Left scarred by Aizen, the former Shinigami has lost his taste for fighting. Too bad the world doesn't care. The world is cruel. A world with ghouls is worse.
The Wanderer: Star Wars/DC Comics
Revan is many things. He is Mando; a warrior bred to deliver pain and enforce the law. He is a Jedi; a guardian of peace and justice across the stars. He used both to end the Mandalorian Crusades, becoming a hero to the Republic. Now, he is lost. Wandering the stars after a civil war, the Revanchist finds himself stranded on an uncharted world. What will become of him?
The Protector: Bleach/Sekirei
Correction and repetition has become the routine for one Kurosaki Ichigo. Working as an editor, the Hero of the Winter War has lived the last ten years in relative peace. Now, his routine is being shaken up. Discovering alien life has a tendency to do that.
Fool's Game: Fate Stay Night/Sekirei
Emiya Shirou has walked away from what he knows. No longer the Enforcer he once was, the Man of a Thousand Blades has dropped the sword in favor of the spatula. Tokyo has become his new home, as he and his family are working for a fresh start. His luck won't let him off the hook that easily. The city has fallen victim to a mad man. He and a small few are all that stand between him and utter chaos.
Rebirth: Bleach/Naruto
Kurosaki Ichigo has lost his powers. In order to stop Aizen, he made the necessary sacrifice. Now, he has found something in his dreams. He sees a girl with blue hair making paper flowers and a boy with red hair with his small dog. They were his friends. He was theirs. They were the dawn. They were the Akatsuki.
The Adventures of a Champion and a Bastard: Dragon Age/A Song of Ice and Fire
In the war against Corypheus, a Champion gave his life to stop a false god. Now, free from the realm of demons, he has found freedom in a new land. These are the Chronicles of Garrett Hawke and his squire, Jon Snow, as they travel Westeros.
Other Projects:
Untitled Mass Effect Story:
Alexander 'Lex' Shepard watched the news one day, learning that his little brother Jonathon 'Jon-Jon' Shepard, humanity's first spectre, died in a surprise attack. Months later, he is approached by agents from Cerberus. They warn him about the enemy his brother told him about. The question is this, can the Immortal stop the Reapers when his brother could not. Or will he die too?
Marvel/Star Wars Crossover:
Stamford, Connecticut. This was the site of Ground Zero of Nitro's blast, at least in most timelines. On Earth 9376, however, the villain died on the streets. Standing over his corpse was a father of two, picking up his kids from school to take them to a Yankees' game, clutching onto a lightsaber. Fair to say that the Avengers never saw this coming.
There are other one-shots and short stories as well, however, they are not named at this moment.
Now, I guess you're wondering about the Protector's Wish. This story isn't dead but I hit a snag with it. I rushed in head first without a plan, making a story without a plot.
I will see it done. (Like Gondor)
I'll be teaming up with a friend, Heaven's Chocolate (who I recommend), to finish it.
Any questions, PM me.
Thanks for reading this and sticking with me.
Until next time.
