Well, chapter 9 is up as I want to get this over with and move on to the next one. This is a short chapter which is all about sparring match. I kind of organized my work better by using a horizontal line. Seriously, sometimes I get confused where I left off.

Chapter 9: The Power of Youth & Trouble
Seeing a grown-up man with a shiny bowl style haircut style with thick eyebrows that looks like black caterpillars attach to his face was weird. Then, the weirdness level just skyrocketed when he sees this guy wearing a tight green jumpsuit that looks like another skin attach to his, not to mention a slight bulge... this might traumatize anyone.
"What the fuc..." Naruto started.
"WHY HELLO THERE! ISN'T THIS A PERFECT DAY TO EXERCISE!" He yelled, seeing this boy entering his training ground. The power of youth must have brought him another potential student to be groomed into a youthful student.
'Wow, he needs to tone it down' Naruto flinch seeing this man appear in front of him and yell. 'But his speed is no joke when he appeared in front of me.'
"Observe" He whispered wanting to see his status and what a surprise he found.

'Wow, his level is higher than Deviljho and his skills are nothing to laugh about' He thought in surprise reading Gai's status. His descriptions gave him better insight into his strong points and analyze him.
"Um...Sir, can you keep your tone down? I can hear you clearly" Naruto calmly spoke, not wanting the entire conversation to be loud.
"Oh! I'm sorry for my outburst earlier. My name is Maito Gai and I'm the best Taijutsu practitioner in the Land of Fire! Who might you be on this sunny day!?." Gai said, giving his nice guy pose with a thumb up, a wink from his left eye and a smile somehow resulting a bright light from his teeth….how unusual….
Shaking his head he swore he just saw a light flickering from his teeth and he can tell it wasn't Genjutsu.
"Nice to meet you Gai-san. My name is Naruto Uzumaki, an academy student, I came here to investigate unknown noise and I see the noise was from your training…. I was wondering what kind of training you were going through as I'm seeing all the damage this place has gone through…" Naruto asked, seeing small craters and broken wooden dummies scattered around.
Gai's eyes lighten hearing the word 'training' he knows who this is and he has no problem in his presence since he doesn't see him as Kyubi.
"Oho! That's a great question Uzumaki-san, my daily training can bring out the power of youth to anyone who puts 130% effort into and reach it. Like my student, Rock Lee, is undergoing training this year and he is showing promises….hick...hick...It brings me tears to my eyes how proud I am!" He cried, before wiping his manly tears away "My training consist of running around Konoha 100 times, 1,000 push-ups, 1,000 flutter kicks, 1,000 pull ups, 1,000 squats, and 1,000 curl-ups.
"..." Naruto stared at the man in shock listening to his 'daily training' regime. If it was not for his 'Gamer's Mind' Naruto was not sure if he would be still standing.
He then got an idea that could benefit him in a long run.

"Gai-san, you mentioned that you are the best Taijutsu practitioner in the Land of Fire right?" Naruto questioned, with a strange glint in his eyes.
Gai once again gave him a 'nice guy' pose "Of course, in this village, I'm considered to be the master on Taijutsu after years of hard work!"
"Well, I was wondering if you can help me improve my Taijutsu as I need a sparring partner." No sooner he said that Gai gave him manly tears except this time his tears came down like a waterfall.
"Sniff...H-How Youthful!...sniff...Another student for me to show the path of youth! I will gladly accept your request!" Gai cried joyfully.
As both sides put on their taijutsu stance, Naruto decides to take the initiative as he speeds through attempting a frontal assault. Seeing Gai standing still he threw his right hook which was easily blocked, then he went on a mid-kick but, that resulted in his attack to be blocked. Frowning his attacks being unaffected, he decides to go all out.
Gai was quite impressed by Naruto's attributes. At first, he was caught off guard from Naruto's speed and power which he immediately judges to be at least low Chūnin level. He is now curious as academy students are not supposed to be this strong or this fast. It's common knowledge for fresh graduates to lack field experience and skills without proper guidance. Sure there are students who are titled 'skilled' or 'genius' like his student Neji but, even those students need to be properly trained by a veteran. Seeing Naruto's eyes and postures he realizes that Naruto has already gained field experience to go along with his skills. Now the real question is who's training this student?
Resuming his stance he won't jump to a conclusion until after he finishes this spar.
3 Hours Later
"You did very well today, Uzumaki-san" Gai said with no sign of exhaustion or injury. Hell, there wasn't any signs of sweat showing.
Naruto, however, wasn't doing as well as he was currently gasping, trying to fill his lungs with fresh air. He had sustained light injuries throughout his body but, his Basic Regeneration skill would slowly heal those injuries without too much issue.
'Pant...Pant...he didn't take this seriously...Pant...I couldn't hit him all he did was block all of my attacks….Well, he is the strongest Taijutsu practitioner.' Naruto thought, as he slowly regained his breathing. He knew Gai was taking it easy as he hadn't use any other skill except Strong Fist.
As for Gai, he concluded that someone else was training Naruto as the boy used a list of advance tactics to attack him such as using blind spots, feints, vital parts, geographic advantage, and many more. However, one thing that caught his attention was the improvement Naruto showed. It fascinated him how Naruto increase his speed, strength and strategy overtime like how he slowly improves himself on conflict. The only description Gai can describe Naruto is 'Adaptability' and that worries him as that boy is a Jinchūriki.
'Give him five...no...Four years and he will be a force to be reckoned with' Gai mused, seeing Naruto slowly get back on his feet as nothing happened.
'No regular student could and fully recover after only ten minutes of rest...There isn't any sign of Kyubi's power being used, I need to inform this to Hokage-Sama just to be sure.' Gai thought

Hearing this Gai is shocked to see this youthful student wanting to continue the spar. 'Oh, bless Kami-Sama for this wonderful day!'
"Of course Uzumaki-san, let's continue our spar until nightfall!" Naruto widened his eyes when he realized that nightfall would occur in five hours.

The training ground became even more decimated as the number of craters and broken trees has further increased. Gai now has a serious look on his face even though he doesn't have any sign of injuries. For Naruto, his injuries became greater than from his last spar, that is, until his regeneration rapidly healed those. He is covered in dirt and blood like he just came out from a battlefield. However, the most alarming was the fact Naruto is still standing up with a determined look on his face.
Taking a deep breath, Naruto charged forward which Gai was prepared for, but was surprised when Naruto took a quick step and threw a sharp kick aiming for his rib
Like always Gai blocked his strike but added extra strength to maintain his balance, then he quickly block another kick when Naruto spun himself and used his other foot aiming for his chin.
Gai a quick but 'light' punch to Naruto's stomach causing him to cough out mixture blood and spit and throw him across the field.
Seeing he is about to collide to a tree, he then rolled his body in mid-air catching a branch and spin around landing on top of it. Like a hawk waiting for his prey.

Without resting he leaped forward heading for Gai again attempting to hit him. Without realizing it he smiled enjoying the rush of excitement as the fight continues.
'He's smiling?' Gai thought 'This is getting out of hands; I need to end this quickly.'
"Uzumaki-san, I think you had enough," Gai said wanting to stop before it gets out of hand. Sadly, Naruto didn't listen or respond as he continued his assault "I said that's enough, you are just hurting yourself further!" Still not listening for an unknown reason he had no choice as he needs to either restrain him or knock him down. He chooses the second option.
Dodging another attack, he punched Naruto hard in the face expecting him to fall unconscious however he didn't expect Naruto to counter him by landing a swift strike to his face. Although that punch didn't affect Gai, as he trained his body for many years, he was surprised Naruto finally landed a hit on him. Not even his students could hit him when they attack him all at once. Except when he purposely let them hit him.
'So, he finally caught up with my current speed' Impressed that someone so young managed to hit him 'Still I expected that punch could knock him down...sigh...I didn't want to do this but this is for your own good Uzumaki-san!'

"Severe Leaf Hurricane!" Using the power of the wind to accelerate his kick landed a clean hit on Naruto's stomach making him fly like a speed of bullet where his back smack right into the tree. His body stopped moving thankfully he is breathing.
"I'm sorry Uzumaki-san the spar went too far in my opinion," Gai said with a sad look on his face as he didn't want to hurt him so badly "You have shown your youth and I acknowledge that you had surpassed physical strength no other students has ever achieved in this generation." Picking him up he made his way toward the hospital for proper treatment and when he wakes up he will reward him with food all he can eat.
I want to point out that Naruto is not godlike or super strong in this story. If he wants to be stronger he needs to work his ass off to earn it. During the spar, Gai didn't take it seriously not one bit. For him to be really serious is when he activates the Eight Gates. So this chapter is about naruto getting his ass kicked, however, he received better rewards.
For Naruto, his fight is based on early stages on Garou (One Punch Man) that guy will take punishment from his opponent but in return, he will form a strategy and adopt that fighting style. Also, Naruto will not be arrogant.
He received two positive quirks which are Adaptability and Battlefield Tactician. Those will be explained in the next chapter. (It's obvious what they mean)
However, he will not be smart as Shikamaru or Shino as they are Planning tactician.
From my memory, Lee, Tenten, and Neji couldn't beat Gai on his team test. Yet Gai let them hit him for them to pass. This means Lee wasn't fast or strong in the beginning until Gai train him.
Also, whenever I copy and paste the work, somehow it comes out weird. Some readers commented me that all of my words are Bold. When I check it out there weren't any problems. Weird...
I will post chapters when I complete by page 10. So the readers don't have to wait for a long time.
Heads up I might get my job orientation so this might affect posting if I get the job position.
