All right, it wasn't an easy road, but I have successfully done it, I have made it to the end! And now, for the final chapter of 'Tucker Or Peapod?'. Stay tuned after this story for the final result on who had won the poll! Anyway, enjoy!

Later that day, in the park, the young blonde, spider-haired girl was sitting on the bench, humming to herself as she was kicking her legs up, patiently waiting for the two boys she had called up to meet up for a special meeting. She was continually kicking her legs up as she appeared to be in thought, when in reality, she had her mind all made up from the very beginning. She just had to wait for the right moment...

"Nadine, hey!"

"Here we are! Sorry we're late."

Nadine immediately looked up as she saw the two boys she wanted to see walking close together as they looked at each other and nodded, showing their sign of respect, and willingness to set their differences aside as they walked close and stood in front of the young blonde haired girl.

"Boys, thank you for coming over, I know you have a lot of busy time on your schedules, especially on a Saturday, but I called you both here to tell you that... I made up my mind on who I want to go out with." Nadine said as she took a deep breath.

Tucker and Peapod Kid looked at each other before looking at Nadine as Tucker said, "When I saw that Peapod Kid was in the same bus I walked on to the park and we spoke, we both figured it had something to do with this."

"Yeah, that's true." Joe nodded as he asked, "So, Nadine, who did you pick to be your official... boyfriend?"

"Well... let me tell you something, the choice wasn't easy to make. Both of you had some good qualities that I liked." Nadine smiled as she turned to Peapod Kid. "Joe, your love for sixties music and jazz really is wonderful, and the fact that you have a cool personality within you does win favors, but I think you were trying a LITTLE too hard to impress me."

"Have I?" Joe paused, looking a little nervous.

Nadine nodded as she quickly turned to Tucker. "Tucker, you're sweet in your own, letting me do what I like to do. You're really sweet in the gesture, but perhaps a bit too sweet. Basically, you let me do whatever the heck I wanted to do. Sure, it was mild compared to what I do, but sometimes, I can be pretty wild. You need to know how to tame a free spirit like myself before anything else."

Tucker took a deep breath as he looked down. "Sorry, Nadine. If there IS a next time, I can probably take you to a nice game out there."

The blonde spider haired girl laughed. "Always hitting my favorite subjects, aren't you? What a sweet gesture, Tuck."

The Wittenberg son immediately blushed a bit as Nadine gave a cough. "Needless to say, I had a great time with both of you, despite the small flaws in each of our dates. I thought about it pretty carefully, and in the end, well..."

A long pause occurred as Nadine looked between the two of them, Peapod Kid was tapping his foot nervously as Tucker took a few deep breathes, anxiously awaiting the final results.

Eventually, Nadine gave a big smile as she walked towards Tucker, and took his hand in hers. Tucker looked over at the girl in surprise as she gave a smile and nodded. Tucker's eyes lit up in excitement as he gave a big hug towards the girl, who giggled. Peapod Kid, watching the slight gesture between the two, realized what had just happened as he gave a sigh.

The cool shades wearing kid then grinned as he looked at Nadine. "I think you probably made a good choice, Nadine. He certainly looks like he'll treat you well."

"I'm sorry, Joe. It's nothing personal, you are cool and all, but I think I prefer to have somebody like Tucker around." Nadine explained. "If only because he's very good at what he does with girls like me. You do too, but... I don't think you're the type of boy I'm looking for."

"More into the sporty guys, I get it." Peapod Kid nodded as he turned to Tucker and put a hand on his shoulder. "Well, no hard feelings, Tucker. We're still cool, right?"

Tucker paused as he gave a smile. "Yeah man, we're cool."

"Great!" Peapod Kid nodded as he walked off. "Well, I guess I'll see you guys at school, then."

"Where are you going?" Tucker called out in curiosity.

"I'm going to need a little time alone." Peapod Kid called out as he was still walking far away as Tucker and Nadine looked at each other in concern.

"Do you think Peapod Kid will be okay?" Nadine asked.

Tucker looked at his new girlfriend as he gave a shrug. "I can't really say for certain, but I do know this. Maybe he'll find somebody that'll make him smile, like you do to me..."

"Awwww..." Nadine giggled as she hugged the surprised brown haired kid. Tucker, giving a small smile, hugged the spider haired girl back as Tucker paused.

"So..." Tucker paused... before smiling. "Want to shoot a few hoops with me?"

"Sure!" Nadine grinned in excitement as the two kids start going off.

"Awesome! Maybe on the way, we can stop for lunch. I hear Slausen's set up a new special for an 'Impossible Burger', butterfly." Tucker grinned.

"You mean that veggie burger that Slausen's is recently promoting?" Nadine asked in curiosity.

"Yeah, that!" Tucker smiled as Nadine paused.

"Well, okay. At least I'm having tofu in it." The spider haired girl laughed as the two went off on their merry way, starting a new adventure together as boyfriend and girlfriend.

All the while, Peapod Kid was giving a small sigh as he had been walking for quite a while, not even sure where he was going at this rate. Sure, he had accepted the fact that Nadine had made her choice, and that she was more happy with Tucker. In a way, Peapod was proud. But regardless, the kid looked pretty disappointed in the fact that he had just missed out on having a girl like her.

"Tucker is so very, very lucky..." Peapod Kid said as he stopped near a bench that was next to an entrance of a nearby circus and sat down. In the background, noises of clowns, cheering and laughter of little children were heard as a lot of fun was being had at the moment. The cool kid couldn't help but drum his fingers as he watched several people walk past him. At the moment, the kid was still in deep thought when a figure approached him.

"Hey, excuse me. By any chance, is this seat taken?"

Peapod Kid looked up as he noticed a beautiful African American girl in a light blue shirt and blue skirt chewing bubblegum and raising an eyebrow, giving a small smile. Peapod's eyes widened in surprise as he shook his head.

"Oh good." The girl grinned as she sat down next to the boy. "I've been walking around all day and I needed a moment to rest. I'm Chloe, by the way."

"Uh... my name is Joe, but a lot of people call me Peapod Kid." Peapod paused nervously.

"Peapod Kid?" Chloe raised an eyebrow as the boy gave a nervous smile. After a moment, she gave a chuckle. "Heh, that's not such a bad name."

Peapod's eyes widened in delight as he moved close to the girl, wanting to talk with her even more, little realizing that he and this girl would be on their way to making a new friendship.

Little did any of them realize however was that a mysterious figure was watching Peapod Kid with interest as that person was drumming their fingers. "Hmmm... might be useful to me, but I'll keep it in the back of my mind for later... for now, I have a lion to set loose..."

With a nod of their head, the figure silently entered the circus with one goal in mind...

A couple days later, on Monday's start, as Nadine and Rhonda were waiting for the bus and exchanging their weekends, Rhonda gave a smile as the blonde haired girl had just finished up the story. "And Tucker and I finally went to the roller rink together, where we skated around like there was no tomorrow. I have to say, he was very talented at the roller rink. Pretty convenient too, considering the lion that went on the loose Saturday night, so we were pretty much stuck there."

"Funny enough, that lion that you mentioned ended up at the party last night." Rhonda explained. "But I'm sure you already knew that from the papers."

"Yeah, I'm just glad you're okay." Nadine said, looking concerned for her friend.

"Don't worry about it." Rhonda laughed. "If it hadn't been for Arnold's quick thinking, my family and I would have been lion food."

"Still, though, it was pretty awful that your party got ruined." Nadine said.

"Curly already ruined it in the first place by crashing it, and I think his weird friends were stealing food from the party, so it was no big loss, really." Rhonda said as the bus stopped by.

"Oh my..." Nadine said as the two of them entered the bus as they began searching for empty seats. "Well, let's talk about something more cheery. So, you and Arnold finally got together, huh?"

Rhonda gave a happy nod. "I will admit, it wasn't an easy feat, but yes, we are together."

"Oh, that's wonderful!" Nadine said as the two of them kept looking, until Helga gave a shout.

"Yo, princess! Arnold wants to see ya!" Helga called out as the two of them turned to see her getting up from her seat as she pointed to a waving Arnold.

"Oh!" Rhonda's eyes lit up as she turned to Nadine. "You go on ahead and find a seat, I'm going to catch up with my boyfriend."

"You do that." Nadine said as Rhonda started to go over to where Arnold was sitting. Nadine gave a smile as she tried to find an empty seat... until she noticed Tucker waving to her. Noting that he was sitting alone, she walked over to the sport loving boy and sat next to him. "Hey, Tuck!"

"Hi, butterfly!" Tucker grinned as he and Nadine held hands. "Are you up for a good baseball session after school?"

Nadine grinned as she giggled. "I'm not busy, so... sure! Why not?"

The two kids laughed as they looked out the window, having a good feeling that this new adventure between the two was going to be... quite interesting.

Orange Ratchet Story

"That's All, Folks!"

An Orange-Ratchet Fanfiction

And that is it for this story! How did you guys like it? And now, my final thoughts!

When I first started this story back in 2016, it was mainly to have Nadine face a struggle between which boy she liked more and wanted to hang out with. Going back to this now in 2019 wasn't easy, but I think what I turned out was relatively more or less the same as I had planned for the original project... though I kind of had Tucker and Peapod being more antagonistic in my original vision. Thank goodness I found that to be an old cliché going back to the story, so I had just had them be cool with each other and just let Nadine make the choices. The reason I went with Tucker x Nadine for this is because this is my favorite crack ship, and I'm standing by that. I know Tucker is a one-shot character, and Nadine isn't shown much, but really, that would be an interesting idea for a pairing, in my personal opinion. And I hope you Peapod Kid fans will be happy that he'll be finding love in someone else's future... and if you're wondering 'why Chloe', well according to the Jungle Movie relationships, it was seen that Peapod Kid and Chloe were hanging out with each other, if that made any sense. All in all, though, I'm glad I got back to this, and not only that, managed to complete what I wanted to do with this story!

That said though, the poll is over and we had a tie between two stories that were assigned random numbers... number 10 and number 7 (I had the poll held on DeviantArt as well and combined the two results), so there was a tie. After a coin flip, number 7 was the winner, and thus, next month's story will be about... Kingdom Hearts, and Donald Duck! That's right, 'Donald Finally Snaps' is going to be the focus of next month! Now, I would usually do the runner-up for this month to keep myself busy, but since I got a big writing project to do this month, THAT'S going to be the focus for this month, so if you wanted to see other stories getting the spotlight, you'll have to wait until next month!

But that's going to do it for now! Anyway, thank you all for reading, and have a very wonderful day!
