A/N: Yay! 10,000 hits! To honest I hit it a long time ago... won't say how long... but yeah.

Anyways, this isn't the best chapter, I really wanted to tell this story but writer's block go in way and I felt nothing for the chapter. I hope someone in the future can take the premise and make it work in the future. I do hope you all enjoy it enough though.

Chapter 10: Freaky Thursday

Stan had been waiting for this week for a while now, there were few things they wanted to repeat.

But this was the big one for him to repeat, he remembered the dates and prepared for that day. This time he was going to get that money for sure.

However he had one problem. Who would be in charge of the Shack, Mabel would agree that she wasn't the right choice, he wasn't sure about Soos and Wendy was definitely out.

That only left Dipper.

"Are you sure?" asked Dipper.

"Of course I'm sure." said Stan, "I really need this money this time around."

Dipper just rolled his eyes.

"Just make sure nothing too crazy happens." Said Stan.

"I know. Don't worry, probably something will go crazy, but I'm sure it's not too crazy." Said Dipper.

"And just make sure everything's fine with the portal." Said Stan.

"I'll leave Soos in charge of that in case something goes wrong." Said Dipper.

"HE really can fix anything." Said Stan.

"Everything will be fine." Said dipper, "I'll just make sure Soos knows you're going to Cash Wheel before you leave."

"What did he cry thinking I was dead last time." Said Stan.

Dipper didn't answer.

"Oh… I'm sure he'll know what I'm doing this time around." Said Stan.

Soos had actually forgotten about the whole thing about Cash Wheel, mostly because he wasn't informed of it before hand and didn't it.

"Also remember to tape it this time! Especially since I know how to win!" said Stan.

"Will do!" said Dipper.

And so enough it was time for Stan to leave.

"All right remember you're in charge." Said Stan.

"Will do!" said Dipper.

"Wait Grunkle Stan put you in charge?" asked Mabel.

"Oh come on! Seriously did you really forget?" asked Dipper then he noticed that Mabel was clearly trying not to laugh.

"Sorry…" laughed Mabel, "Couldn't help it!"

Dipper laughed a little, "Makes sense." He said.

"So what's the plan?" asked Mabel.

"Well I make sure nothing goes wrong, while Stan hopefully makes a ton of money at Cash Wheel." Said Dipper.

"Sounds good to me!" said Mabel.

And so Dipper explained it to Wendy and Soos. Including telling Soos.

"Oh yeah… totally forgot about the vacation." Said Soos.

"Yeah." Sighed dipper.

"I have to tape it!" said Soos.

"That's what you got form this?" asked Wendy.

"You two got this?" asked Dipper.

"Of course!" said Wendy with a shrug.

"Good, because unless something happens, I'm sure it will be fine." Said Dipper.

And so the first couple hours the Mystery Shack was running smoothly.

Outside Mabel went for a walk as she had nothing to do.

That was when she saw a sparkling stone.

"What's this?" she said to herself.

She figured that it would probably have to be something she would have to show Dipper.

Sometime later she headed back to the Shack.

After Dipper had finished up a tour in the Stan way (he had to admit, it was fun channeling his Grunkle).

"Hey Dipper I'm getting a weird feeling from a Stone I found." Said Mabel.

"Really?" asked Dipper.

She showed him the stone.

That was when there was a light that shined from the stone.

"That was weird." Said Mabel.

"Yeah." Said Dipper.

"I'm going to check the Journal and see if there's anything about that." Said Mabel.

Both of them froze when she said that.

"What just came out of your mouth!" yelled Dipper in shock.

"I don't know… I sounded like you." Said Mabel, "You're sounding like me."

Mabel held up the stone, which severally dulled.

"Okay…" said Mabel grabbing pen and began to click it, "I'm acting like you and you're acting like me…"

"But I remember being me." Said Dipper, "So we didn't switch bodies."

"We switched personalities." Said Mabel.

"We have to fix this before Grunkle Stan get home!" said Dipper.

"Why?" asked Mabel.

"Duh, he's going to be in a really good mood after winning so much money. I don't want to bring him down." Said Dipper.

"I guess that makes sense." Said Mabel unsure how to respond to it.

"So we can figure this out and everything will be fine!" said Dipper.

"I guess." Said Mabel.

"I know me! And I always solve the problem…. And now you're kind of like me… so you should solve the problem." Said Dipper.

"That's really not helping." Sighed Mabel.

"Why not?" asked Dipper.

"I don't know if I have your intelligence." Said Mabel.

"You're smarter than you know sister!" cheered Dipper.

"I guess so." Said Mabel.

"You can do it!" cheered Dipper.

And so Mabel began to look through the other two journals to see if Ford had ever encountered anything like this.

However as she looked through the journals, she became concerned by something…. Something that she wondered if Dipper was going through as well.

That was when Mable realized something… Dipper had her personality and was worried bout what he was doing to do the Shack.

She came up stairs and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw him dressed like Stan and doing tours his way still.

Once the tour was done, Dipper walked over.

"Have you found anything?" asked dipper.

"Not yet." Said Mabel.

"If you're wondering why I didn't do anything you would do in adding things I was having fun before the swap so…" said Dipper.

"Yeah, I think that makes sense…" said Mabel sounding a little unsure.

"Is there anything getting you down?" asked Dipper.

"Does it feel like your memories are starting to get a little fuzzy?" asked Mabel.

Dipper froze when she said that.

"Is it happening to you too?" asked Dipper.

Mabel scowled.

"Whatever this thing did to is probably going to try to make us think that we were always this way." Muttered Mabel.

"Okay that's bad!" said Dipper.

"Of course that's bad." Said Mabel.

"what are we going to do!" yelled Dipper.

"I don't know…" sighed Mabel, "Just don't freak out."

"How can I not!" yelled Dipper.

Mabel sighed.

"I'll figure something out." Sighed Mabel.

"You don't have my intelligence though." Said Dipper.

"you were just reassuring me I was intelligent a few hours ago." Sighed Mabel.

"I know I did… but before I wasn't haven't my memories go all fuzzy!" yelled Dipper.

Mabel sighed and face palmed.

"We'll figure this out together… okay." Said Mabel.

Mabel grabbed the stone that was set nearby that was when they noticed that some of it's glow that returned.

They looked at each other.

"Maybe it just needs to recharge." Said Dipper hopefully.

"Yeah…" sighed Mabel.

They did tell Wendy and Soos about what going on, but only them for the time being hoping that the personality thing could get fixed…

"That is really weird dude." Said Soos.

"We know." Both of them sighed.

"And what's worse is that it's effecting our memories." said Mabel.

"How so?" asked Soos.

"Its' starting get blurry about how we acted during situations…" said Mabel.

"That sucks." Muttered Wendy.

She looked at the twins.

"So…" she said changing the subject, "How much money do you think Stan will win this time around."

"Who knows." said Dipper, "Hopefully he can actually say "Please" this time."

Even with this conversation they couldn't help but worry that night.

"This better not be permanent." Muttered Dipper as he pat Waddles, somehow the pig was able to sense the off thing and slept with Dipper that night.

"Think that's why it's messing with our memories so we can adjust easier." Said Mabel.

"Why couldn't Ford run into that Stone before." Muttered Dipper.

"He hasn't seen everything, I mean he never did run into the dinosaurs case." Said Mabel.

Dipper laughed.

"Let's just get some sleep." Sighed Mabel.

The next day, Mabel was chewing on a pen trying while examining the stone.

"That's just going to give you a mouth full puff ink you know." Said Wendy.

She did break the pen.

"How did Dipper take this?" asked Mabel.

"Who knows." Said Wendy, "Look it will be fine."

"I can't remember a lot of things." Admitted Mabel.

"Okay that sounds bad." Said Wendy, "But knowing you two it will be fine."

Mabel sighed heavily.

Later the stone had returned to the same brightness that it had when Mabel found it.

Both of them were pacing while glaring at the stone.

"Come on! Work again!" yelled Dipper, "I don't' care if I can't remember anything! I want to be myself again!"

That was when the stone suddenly shined a bright light.

"Now tell do you want to return how you were even though you completely don't' remember or do you want to remain as you are." Said a voice.

"What…" said both of them.

"I give people new perspectives." Said the voice, "By switching their personalities… but only those who need it."

"Switch us back!" yelled both of them.

"What…" said the stone.

"We don't want this and have other things to worry about." Said Dipper.

"Am I missing something?" asked the stone.

"Yes, we've been trying to fix this all day." Said Mabel.

"Uh…" said the Stone, "I felt the need and seem you two seem like you need it…"

They looked at each other wondering what it meant.

"Okay… we do need something like that…" said Dipper.

"Right now was a bad time." Said Mabel.

"Fine be that way! I'm switching your personalities as again when you need it more!" said the stone.

With that there was a right flash of light and the stone disappeared.

"Seriously! What was up with that stone!" yelled Mabel.

"Who knows." grumbled Dipper.

Both of them cheered realizing they were back to normal.

"You know…" said Dipper checking his watch, "I think it was 24 hours since we switched."

"Seriously! Of course that what it was." Muttered Mabel, "Of course we worried over nothing!"

"At least was nothing in the need." Said Dipper.

Mabel nodded.

Thankfully nothing else weird happened for the rest of the day. And at the afternoon Stan returned with several brief cases worth of money.

"Guess who now has more than half a million dollars!" cheered Stan.

The four of them cheered.

"What are we going to do with the money?" asked Mabel.

"Soaring it for later!" said Stan, "I'm not spending it anytime soon."

Dipper and Mabel froze when he said that.

"What's wrong?" asked Stan.

"Nothing…" said Dipper.

"Nothing about overhearing an argument you had before we went back time." Said Mabel.

Stan sighed when she said it.

"Don't worry about." Said Stan "So anything happen while I was gone?"

"You don't want to know." Said Mabel.

"Really you don't." said Dipper.

Stan shrugged and went to hide his money for when he needed it.

After all Ford was expected to come back soon and he needed that money when summer ended.

After all that was something he really wasn't looking forward to.
