"But I don't have my weapons," Sun said getting into his own fighting stance.
"Neither do I," Taiyang said before charging at Sun.
He swung his fist low at the young student slipping past his guard. Before he could move Taiyang was already bringing his knee up, knocking Sun back.
"I guess you're not going easy," Sun said huffing as he tried to get his breath back
"Of course not, why should I?" Taiyang smiled as he charged the student again. He swung fist again but this time Sun caught his arm. Taiyang hit the ground hard as he felt his feet fall out from under him.
He looked up at Sun who offered him his hand "Don't worry I'm not going easy either"
"Not bad" Taiyang took his hand and pulled himself to his feet "But don't relax just yet we're not done"
Both men struck their fighting poses again and started over.
As the hunters traded blows their grunts became louder and louder until they could be heard throughout the whole courtyard. A crowd soon formed around the two fighters, and people began to cheer with ever hit.
Sun kicked high and Taiyang blocked with his own kick. The crowd cheers.
"You sure know how to show a guy a fun time, Mister Rose."
"Actually it's Xiao Long," he says, throwing a few jabs.
"As in Xiao Long are we gonna keep fighting?" Sun says grinning.
"Make another out like that and you're going to be Wukong funny after this" the crowd stops cheering.
"I don't know, I think I'll win if I try Taiyang you up"
The crowd groans as the two exchange puns "Just Fight!" Someone shouts.
Both guys laughed before they start their fight again. The two blondes traded blows, going back and forth as the ring of people cheered them on. Taiyang quickly grabbed the Faunus and throw him to the ground, before he could go again he and Sun were pulled apart by his daughters.
A short while later Sun and Ruby were silently walking together, holding hands and smiling. They were slowly walking along the courtyard, the school to their backs, the train station in front of them, and the setting sun beside them. The couple stops next to the large fountain that stood in the center of the courtyard, turning to each other, Sun holding both of Ruby's hands.
She giggles "I can't believe you fought my dad for like a half hour"
"I can't believe I lasted that long," Sun said
Ruby sighs and rests her head against Sun's chest.
"So if I heard correctly, your dad said we could date right?" He asks
"Y-yeah I guess he did," Ruby says softly
"And you want to date me right?" Sun asks her, looking down at her
"Of course Sun"
"Even if your sister doesn't approve?"
"Well I didn't waste all that time sneaking around just to reject you," Ruby says looking up at him.
"So it's official?"
"Its official"
The two wrap their arms around each other, staring into each other's eyes. Slowly Sun leans forward as Rub stands on her toes and the two share a quick kiss before backing away, a blush spreads across both of their faces.
A short distance away, Yang stands in the shadow of the dorms, watching the young couple share their first kiss. She sighs, and murmurs to herself "I guess there are worse guys around"
Down in the basements of the school dorms
"What the Oum, Weiss" Blake says with a huff as she tosses the same load of white dresses into the washer for the fourth time "How can these possibly not be clean?"
"I still see red marks along the collar," Weiss says as she turns the next page of her magazine, sitting comfortably in a chair
"Those are stains," Blake groans
"And the brown ones along the elbows?"
"More stains"
"And the green ones on the-"
"Stains!" Blakes rubs her face as she starts the load again "Did you really think an all-white dress-"
"Combat skirt"
"Combat skirt wouldn't get stained?"
"I've never had problems with stains before"
"You had maids and top dollar cleaning materials," Blake says "Here we have," She gestures to the old washers and off-brand powder soap "This"
"You're a smart, beautiful, and strong girl Blake," Weiss says not looking from her magazine "You shouldn't let the circumstances of life hold you back"
"...What are you saying?"
"We're not leaving until those are spotless. Like you promised"
Blake groans again and leans against the old washer "How do think things went up there?"
"Honestly, is it our business?"
"Considering half our time is involved...Yes?"
"Mmm, I wouldn't say so," Weiss says "This problem would have happened with or without us, and it will be resolved with or without us"
"But we could help it resolve faster"
"Then, by all means, go ahead," Weiss says "but you see Blake, the first rule of business is 'Know whats your business and what isn't'"
"So you're just saying…"
"We let nature take its course. We offered our help once and it probably did nothing" Weiss says closing her magazine "I mean did you see their father. The scruffy beard, the bowling shirt, the tattoo, The Cargo shorts. Those two were made to be best friends"
"I can't believe you"
"What is this a shock to you?"
"No this isn't but the act that you're still making me do your laundry when you never planned to be much help"
"The second rule of business 'Always make sure you get what you are promised'"
Blake sighs again.
