A/N: I would like to thank all of you for riding this crazy train and finishing this journey with me. I can't believe this took over a year to manage! But I couldn't have done it without my loyal readers, and, of course, my amazing, beautiful, hard-working, brilliant beta I was BOTWP.

_Epilogue_

No More Moments

(*)

We're still waiting for you to come inside
You won't be leaving, you are mine
I'm so afraid that the end is near
No more moments of moonlight

We'll still be waiting

The group made from the boats as they hit the shoreline, and the four in the last boat waved goodbye to Hagrid before they followed the others, doing so in their own personal silence where the rest of the group was loud and talkative and cheery. The four remained quiet, reserved, and near one another for the first time in months; walking the trail, as well as all of the way up to Hogsmeade's platform together. Upon reaching their destination, without agreeing aloud they stopped before the steam engine and turned to one another. They each looked at each other in a contemplative silence; measuring, eyeing, gauging… wondering if more should be said, or if they should turn and walk away like they had months ago.

"So…" Harry began slowly, but courageously, after some awkward seconds passed, "are any of you going to ride the train for the last time, or are you dissaparating in town?" There were many a thing he could have said instead, like "Goodbye", "I love you", or "I should apologize for being a slut", just to name a few. But, for some reason or another, he couldn't help but find an excuse to linger for as long as possible without making any sudden movements, or talking about the weather.

"I'm riding the train," Hermione answered with a small smile. The officially former Head Girl had to physically keep herself from making some sort of spectacle. She had been far too happy (once she'd gotten over her anxiety) about the four being forced to sit together on the boat, and it was taking some conscious effort on her part not to pull all of them in for a hug. Merlin damn all the previous shite!

"Same here," was Pansy's reply, with a lightly raised brow of amusement. Her low-lidded eyes were darting back and forth between the three, but she was in no way upset. She was simply trying to hide her smile, because inwardly she was overjoyed by their presence.

"Likewise," Draco added, smirking as usual. He wasn't sure what was happening, but he couldn't walk away. Not this time. While in his drunken episode, which others simply called the month of May, when he would reach his lowest points, he'd wonder why he didn't just say something; damn pride, and others, and futures, and Theo especially, and he could go to them and beg for the forgiveness they'd once given before. This wasn't the moment for that, but he thought about it.

"Alright, well… I'm going to go see if there are any compartments left, then," Harry said, turning, and led the others onto the packed and busy train.

By the time the extra-large group of seventh years made it across the lake and onto the train with the rest of the school, the last car of the Express was the only one with an empty compartment, and the four filed into it with a few glances from the students in other compartments, Harry closing the door behind them. After getting comfortable, the four turned to look at one another, all thinking, "Are we all really sitting here together right now?"

"Did you make it into the program you wanted, Draco?" Hermione asked to keep their conversation going while they waited for the train to move, as well as to distract from the uneasy glances by breaking the ice.

It was so very, very, very bizarre to them all that they were all still together. Not in that way, obviously, but they'd all suspected that their rendezvous would have ended long ago- mostly because of all of the shade they'd been throwing around as of late- but yet, here they were, alone in a train compartment together and hours of track ahead of them, and not one seemed to have the inclination to leave.

"Yes, I did. I passed my Law Exams. With flying colors, actually," Draco replied. The women congratulated him, Pansy a little more excited than the others considering she'd bought him the law book that started it all, and Harry inquired,

"Not going for potions?"

The blonde shook his head. "No. I guess spending all of those years around my father taught me far more than I realized. It will help me save my mother from the last seven or so years of her sentence, I hope. At least that git was good for something," the Malfoy man mused. "How about you?" he asked Harry. "Did you still apply for that Excelling Auror training program, or whatever it's called it?"

"Yeah," Harry said with a shake of his head and a smile. "I'm attending in the fall for two years… What about you Pansy?"

"I was accepted for a two year Potions Mastery program, as expected," the green witch responded with a shrug, before turning to look at Hermione and say, "I heard you were practically begged to join a dozen programs, which didn't surprise me." Hermione gave her ex-witch a smirk, which the green-tie returned before asking, "Which one was it that won out?"

Hermione relaxed into a genuine smile, answering, "I accepted the two year Charms Mastery course at UoMC."

"What?" the other three chorused loudly, eyes wide.

"That's where I'm going," Harry said with a tone of shock.

"Same here!" Pansy added, her brows lifting in surprise and amusement.

"Likewise," Draco; smirking… as usual…

The train lurched into movement, and as it began to glide along the tracks, Pansy mused, "I guess we'll be seeing a lot more of each other, then."

"Yeah," Harry and Hermione answered, both giving the other a short glance before Harry finished, "I guess we will be."

"Luna," Daphne said with a smirk as she slid the door open to the compartment that Luna, Neville, Dean and Seamus shared, where she stuck her head in to address the blue-tie. The green-tie was on her way back to her own compartment, after making a short and specific pit stop, Astoria and Lavender behind her and both wearing mischievous smiles.

"Yes?" Luna asked expectantly with a large, brilliant smile. The men in the compartment, who'd looked up at Daphne at her sudden arrival, smiled back at her as they awaited her report.

"I can't believe that worked," was all that Daphne said before she closed the door and walked away, the two other women following her as they began to laugh and chatter.

"Do you think it's illegal to take someone's wand while they sleep and change their alarm?" Seamus asked, and Dean rolled his eyes at his boyfriend, because he seldom listened, and answered,

"We told you that we're pretty sure that's a 'yes', but Harry and Hermione have done plenty of illegal shite, so who cares? Our plan worked, and they seem pretty happy about it, and none the wiser, so keep it together, love."

"I guess if no one got punched…" Seamus said with a thoughtful look, then gave an airy laugh as he added, "Speaking of getting punched, it's a good thing Hermione sleeps like she's dead. It was way too easy to get to her wand. I really should have moved her though, because she looked right uncomfortable face down in that book. Do you think she knows school is over?"

"I think so…" Neville answered, paused a few beats while blinking in thought, then went on, "But no. She'd have killed you if you woke her, I'd think. I'm surprised Harry's drunk arse didn't wake her when we took him to his room."

"I wonder how Blaise and Daphne were able to go about doing the same with Draco and Pansy?" Seamus interjected. "I'll have to go ask them… But I guess it doesn't matter because it worked and that's bloody brilliant!"

"No," Neville said, "It's too late. It took us this long to figure out a way to get them alone together, and all the time they have left is on this train."

"It'll be enough," Luna cut in nonchalantly, before she idly went back to telling Dean about her summer plans.

"Can you believe Hufflepuff won the House Cup?" Seamus asked Neville, the train lurching as it began to pull itself along the track.

"Ha!" Neville laughed. "That was brilliant!"

A/N: The end! I mean it! There will NOT be a sequel! I don't care if there's an idea, and I've already named it and my BETA and I are going to co-write it! Hell no! … JK. (Also, my sneaky beta inserted this note to tell you how super excited she is to be co-writing it!)

We'll see you space cowboys, in the sequel titled "Black Label Society".
