"We suck," Rachel said, dropping her hands and losing the plastered smile.

She and Mr. Shue had argued over his song selections, which ended in Rachel storming out of the room. Kurt had a feeling it was one of many tantrums to come. With a sigh Mr. Shue went after Rachel, hoping to convince the young diva to return, but not before telling the other four members that they could leave if he wasn't back in five minutes.

Rachel may be annoying, but, as much as he hated to admit it, she had a magnificent voice. He also hated admitting how much he thought about David. They had been texting all day trying to set up a time to study together, and thanks to the dramatic exit, Kurt now had some time to kill.

Five minutes had passed before Mercedes stood up and said, "I don't think he's coming back guys. I'm out of here."

The other two followed suit, while Kurt picked up his phone and shot David a quick text; Are you free right now? He didn't want to get his hopes up since it was so last minute, but he didn't want to pass on an opportunity to see David.

David was passing around a football on the sideline with Az while the second string team ran through the new plays. "You sure you won't come play with us this season man? The O line isn't the same without you." Az said catching David's pass and throwing one of his own.

"I don't know man, I'm just trying to make it through French." David replied moving to the left to make the catch. Azimio nodded in understanding he knew how important grades were to Dave and he didn't want to see his best friend miss out on a top school because of French.

"You could just get a tutor you know? I had one for Trigonometry." Az replied throwing the ball back to Dave.

"I'm working on it dude don't worry" Dave grunted catching the ball in his gut. He felt his pocket buzz before he could get another pass off and quickly dug his phone out of his pocket and looked at the screen.

Kurt: Are you free right now?

David did his best to keep his expression neutral he didn't want to make Az or the rest of the team suspect something. He made sure no one was looking before he typed out a reply.

David: Yeah I'm free, no Glee?

David thought it was a little strange that Kurt was texting him this early he thought Kurt would be in the choir room for at least another hour but he wasn't about to complain since it seemed like Kurt wanted to see him.

Kurt: It got cancelled, wanna meet somewhere?

David couldn't believe his luck, Kurt didn't have Glee and he wanted to see him. David didn't allow himself to get giddy in front of the team he had to remain cool. "I gotta go dude" David tossed the ball back to Az and grabbed his bag from the sideline. He hurried off the field after saying goodbye he didn't want to give Az time to figure out why he was in such a hurry. He would just make up something if Az asked questions after practice.

David: Sorry, I was tossing the ball around with Az and the boys at practice. I'll be at the library in 10.

Kurt heard his phone buzz and looked down happy to see that David had replied he was worried David already had plans. Kurt read the text while grabbing his bag and heading toward the library it would be a ghost town around this time which meant he could have some alone time with David. The thought alone made Kurt shiver but he had to calm down he didn't want to scare David away. Kurt shook off his thoughts and sat down at a table near the front desk.

It was secluded enough for privacy yet obvious enough for David to spot him as soon he reached the desk. The librarian was busy off in a corner somewhere and for that he was grateful. Kurt had spent a lot of time in here alone and he wanted to avoid the knowing look in her old eyes, it wasn't a secret Kurt didn't have friends but that didn't mean he needed someone to pity him in fact he hated it. Kurt was pulled from his thoughts when he heard the library door swing open and someone shuffle in.

He was smiling before he even realized and couldn't help but stand up from his seat. Sure enough seconds later a slightly flushed David came around the corner and his green eyes met Kurt's almost immediately. Kurt felt his breath hitch at the sight of David brown curls sticking to his forehead and rosey cheeks. 'Did David just run here?' Kurt wondered. The thought alone made him dizzy, Dave was actually eager to see him. He debated pinching himself but decided to wave at Dave instead, signaling for him to join him.

David smiled in greeting and walked over to the table, "Sorry, I'm late I got caught up throwing passes at football practice. Were you waiting long? Kurt was shamelessly taking in all that was David Karofsky, his strong frame and hard muscles and adorable smile.

"Uhm..Not at all" Kurt replied trying not to sound too eager. "So where would you like to start? Verbs, translation, ...something else maybe?" Kurt asked.

"Anywhere is good...I'm not too good at French" David looked away with a blush it was hard to admit he was struggling especially in front of someone who was fluent. Kurt placed his hand on Dave's "It's ok, don't be embarrassed I'm going to help you with this and when I'm done your perfect GPA will still be intact." Kurt spoke unconsciously rubbing David's hand.

He enjoyed being so close to Dave and feeling the warmth beneath his finger tips and the addictive scent that wafted his way. It was outdoorsy and masculine and just so David, It drove him crazy with want and he was pretty sure he'd jump his bones if they were somewhere more private. Kurt quickly shook off his thoughts and pulled his hand back before opening his textbook. David missed the warmth immediately and was tempted to reach out for Kurt's hand again but thought better of it. He was here to pass French not flirt at least that's what he told himself.

"Alright let's get started"

"You took German before, right?" Kurt asked, turning the pages in book.

"Uh, yeah," Dave replied, surprised that Kurt knew.

"You mentioned it in the counselor's office today," Kurt said quickly. He didn't need Dave thinking he was any more of a stalker. "They're pretty different, but you're smart, so you'll probably get the hang of it really quickly."

Kurt looked over at Dave, who had his head down towards his textbook. Was he actually blushing? "Thanks Kurt," David said, feeling his heart flutter from the compliment. "But you're more of the expert here than I am."

Now it was Kurt's turn to blush. David complimenting him made it hard to concentrate on French, and for a second Kurt was lost in thought over just how cute Dave was being. Kurt cleared his throat. "Well, uh, how about we start with some vocabulary? These are some of the most common from last year."

Kurt put a piece of paper on the table, and Dave moved his chair closer. They weren't touching, but Kurt could feel the warmth coming from his body."Oh, I know some of these!" Dave said, excitedly. "This means run, right?"

"That's exactly right!" Kurt said, smiling and looking into David's deep brown eyes.

David looked back at the page. He enjoyed showing off for Kurt. He tried to say the word, and looked back to Kurt for approval, but deflated when he saw Kurt biting his lip to keep from laughing.

"That bad, huh?"

"No no no," Kurt said hurriedly. He had tried so hard not to show his laughter. "You just, you said it with a German accent. French is much more...smooth, much more fluid. You know how Spanish has the rolling r's, well French is sounds a little harder than that, but not as rough."

Dave tried again, "Courir."

"Close," Kurt said, looking hopeful. "Try imagining something is about to touch the back of your throat, and you have to move it forward with the back of your tongue."

Dave quickly looked back at the paper, his breath short. Something at the back of his throat? Using his tongue? Was Kurt trying to make this impossible for David to get through without thinking of sex? David let out a breath, pushed thoughts of the two of them out of his mind, and tried again.

"Perfect," Kurt said.

Dave looked back up, and caught Kurt staring. At least it seemed like he was staring. There had been a few times Dave had seen Kurt looking at him, and thought there was something behind it, but he was afraid to hope.

"Since that one's a verb, maybe we should move onto conjugation," Kurt suggested, trying to focus on anything except the way Dave's jaws clenched slightly when he was concentrating.

"Sure," Dave replied. He had a small smirk on his face. Maybe I'll like Kurt teaching me.

The whole next day at school Kurt was distracted. He couldn't focus on anything except for the fact that he and Dave had been alone together, well alone at a table in a library with other people around. Still, it was all he could think about. When he finally got to Glee practice, Kurt's hand was practically tired from all the times he had secretly whipped out his phone to check if Dave had texted him. He sang through the dated set list that Mr. Shue had provided, all the while thinking of how close he and David had been sitting. Had Kurt been brave enough, he could have held his hand.

"What was wrong with you today?" Mercedes asked, turning around and breaking Kurt's train of thought.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about," Kurt said, putting his bag on his shoulder as an excuse to look away from Mercedes, who was slowly becoming his best friend in the club.

"I've heard you belt out those notes before, but today you just weren't into it. Where's your head, Kurt? Don't tell me that just because Finn's here you're not going to try as hard."

"Of course not," Kurt scoffed as the two walked out of the choir room and towards their lockers. "I just, have some other stuff on my mind."

Kurt looked around while Mercedes got her books. Sometimes football got out early, and they came through the hall. It wasn't always a good experience, especially if they had slushies, but maybe Dave was with them today.

As if on cue the usual band of jocks rounded the corner and headed straight for them. Kurt paled when he saw the familiar cups they were holding. This was just his luck. He had already spent the whole school day distracted, and had probably missed something important in most, if not all, of his classes and now he'd spend the rest of it trying to get that awful sticky syrup out of his hair and clothes.

"Kurt what's wrong?" Mercedes looked over her shoulder, and froze once she noticed the menacing group closing in on them.

Slushies had become a regular occurrence for the Glee club, but that didn't make it easier to handle or less frightening. Kurt quickly grabbed onto Mercedes and both closed their eyes expecting to feel the familiar sting any moment only it never came. Both opened their eyes in disbelief as the jocks continued past them and out into the student parking lot.

"Well I'm not complaining, but that was weird. It's like they didn't even see us!" Mercedes looked at Kurt, perplexed.

That was certainly unexpected, but Kurt was thankful to see one of his favorite outfits live to see another day. Before he could reply, he caught a short glimpse of Dave walking around the corner. Kurt made up his mind to grill him about what had just happened.

"Maybe they're finally taking pity on us" Kurt replied unconvincingly, eyes looking in the direction went. Before Mercedes could question Kurt further he took off down the hallway "I'll call you later. I forgot something in my locker" he called behind him.

"Uh..Ok" Mercedes replied to Kurt's retreating form. He was certainly acting strange but she knew it would come out eventually.

Kurt tracked David to the library. He was going over some homework and writing things down when Kurt walked in. He couldn't help but notice the pensive look on David's face, and they way it made his strong jaw more prominent to appreciative eyes.'So handsome' Kurt swooned he had never seen a more attractive image than David focused. It made him wonder if he had the same look when he played sports. Kurt shook away the thought. He wanted to get to the bottom of things.

David looked up when Kurt placed his bag on the table and sat in the chair across from him. He had been aware Kurt's presence following him down the hallway. Kurt wanted answers no doubt, and David knew he would grill him until Kurt got what he wanted. David wasn't sure if it was curiosity or nosiness but it was kind of cute to watch.

David fought the urge to smirk when Kurt gave him a knowing look. "What?" he asked giving nothing away.

"You know what" Kurt replied smoothing stray hairs that had fallen out of place while practically running after Dave.

"Could you be more specific?" David smirked coyly, following the pale fingers that brushed hair out of Kurt's face... 'could you be more beautiful?'

That smirk did things to Kurt. He was slightly annoyed, because David wasn't answering on purpose, but he also had the urge to grab those adorable ears and kiss that smug look off his face. Kurt couldn't help the blush that rose up his neck. Why did he have to be so attractive? It really wasn't fair.

Kurt took a deep breath to collect himself and looked at David in the eye "Why did those Jocks leave us alone David?...I know you did something." Kurt sighed. Being this close to David was hard in more ways than one.

"Jocks?... What jocks?" David asked with a thoughtful expression.

Kurt was almost convinced he really didn't know what he was talking about until he look into those honest and beautiful hazel eye seeing the unmistakable glint of mischief. "You're such an ass!" Kurt exclaimed ready to storm off but instead he decided to get even.

David looked at Kurt with a wide eyed expression before bursting into a fit of boisterous laughter. "I didn't think you cursed that was..uhm unexpected" Dave replied with a grin, slightly turned on.

"Well David there's a lot about me you don't know...want to find out? Kurt said in a seductive whisper, knocking the grin right off David's face.

Kurt knew doing this could blow up in his face but if David couldn't play fair, then neither would he. Kurt stood up from the table, dragging a lone finger across the surface as he moved to seat next to David. David wasn't sure what just happened, but the hungry look in Kurt's eyes and the way he was swaying his hips was driving him crazy.

"Listen Kurt I didn't mean to push your buttons..I-" David tried to apologize but Kurt cut him off.

"Oh no no you don't get off that easy, take your punishment like the man I know you are" Kurt smirked slipping into the seat closest to Dave.

'Holy fuck...what's he doing?' David wondered slipping his hands in his pockets. He didn't trust himself not to reach out to Kurt, who was now merely inches away from him.

David felt his throat go dry when Kurt leaned his head on his shoulder and nuzzled into his neck. David's senses were assaulted with the smell of lavender and honey, he fought to keep his eyes from rolling back into his head. It was the most alluring thing he had ever smelled.

"Oh Dave what am I going to do with you?" Kurt asked while tracing light patterns on David's chest over his t-shirt. Kurt felt David's breath hitch, and he smirked moving his hand lower tracing over David's defined abs.

David was too busy to answer the question. He was trying to think of anything else to keep from getting hard. He hoped it was rhetorical and he wasn't being rude. Kurt could tell that David was breathing hard and almost felt sorry for him. He was being a bit cruel. Kurt stretched his fingers out across the athletes abdomen enjoying the feel of rigid muscle underneath his fingertips. It felt right to be close to David, and even though it seemed like David was enjoying this, Kurt wasn't sure. Kurt nuzzled deeper into the strong shoulder beneath his head breathing in the intoxicating scent that was David Karofsky. David smelled like fresh water and sandalwood, smells that were insignificant to him in general but on Dave they made him feel like a feral cat ready to pounce.

"K-kurt" David shuddered and clenched his hands into fists. He could feel his body reacting to Kurt, no matter how hard he tried so he just gave in.

Kurt looked up at David, expecting anger or a punch to the face, but when his eye met with hungry dark green ones his breath caught and he felt dizzy. David was looking at him like he wanted to eat him, and Kurt was more than ready to let him do whatever he pleased. David's ragged breaths were warm against Kurt's face, and he couldn't help the shiver that crept up his spine.

'David you're killing me' Kurt whined to himself. It wasn't suppose to end like this. David was supposed to the one at his mercy, not the other way around. Kurt looked at David with hooded eyes and moved his hand to the table to steady himself. He completely missed the table and landed in David's lap. He only realized what he was gripping when David let out a deep groan. He had his hand on David's cock, and it was everything he imagined and so much more.

'He's huge' Kurt thought to himself. He unconsciously squeezed pulling a whimper from David's throat bringing him back to reality. Kurt paled realizing what had just happened. "Oh my god! Dave I'm so sorry." He quickly grabbed his bag and rushed toward the door.

"Kurt wait!" David called after him, but Kurt was too embarrassed to stop or look back. He couldn't believed he'd been so stupid.

David was being so kind to him and he'd repaid that kindness by touching him inappropriately.

'I'm a monster' Kurt screamed at himself disgusted. He didn't deserve Dave and he'd never be able to look at him after this. Kurt kept running until he had made it to the parking lot, hoping that Dave hasn't followed him. He finally let the tears he'd been fighting fall. 'What will I do now...'

"Okay, wait.. So let me get this straight. Kurt grabbed your junk after all that and then bolted?" Azimio asked trying to comfort his distraught best friend.

"Yeah, dude. He was all over me, and then he started apologizing and ran off...I tried to stop him but-" David sighed. "Fuck dude what did I do wrong?"

"I mean he could have at least blew you or jerked you off.. It seems like you both wanted it" Az laughed patting Dave on the back, earning a fierce glare.

"You're a dick! This is all your fucking fault anyway. If we had never made that deal then Kurt wouldn't have tried to grill me" Dave growled.

"I was trying to help you and keep your precious Kurt safe..you're welcome by the way" Az yelled.

Azimio had talked to the football team about bullying the Glee kids, Kurt in particular, and they had reached an agreement. David needed Kurt's help to pass French, and keep his flawless GPA and sports eligibility, and the team needed their star offensive lineman back. So the jocks would lay off and David would come back to the team, but somehow things had gone sideways before it even really began.

"You're still coming to practice tomorrow right?" Az asked nudging Dave in the side.

"A deal's a deal, I just hope I can get Kurt to talk to me dude."

"Well you have his number don't you? Text him, or call him, or don't. Either way you guys can't stay away from one another long" he smirked.

"You probably should tell him the truth next time he asks about the jocks it might get you laid." Az laughed wiggling his eyebrows.

"Shut up dude! Let's just play this damn game before your mom calls us for dinner" David grumbled grabbing a controller. He loved staying at Az's for dinner, but tonight he was preoccupied thinking about Kurt.

"Don't worry about Kurt we will call him after I beat your ass."

"You mean after I beat yours, and who said I wanted to call him anyway" David replied. "You're a shit liar Dave, but it's one of your best qualities" Az smirked loading up the game.

The boys played a few solid rounds before Mrs. Adams called them down for dinner. She had made homemade lasagna, and there was more than enough to go around. "You boys eat up I want you both healthy and strong this season" Mrs. Adams smiled watching the boys dig in.

Shortly after dinner the boys went back upstairs into Az's room.

David took a deep breath "Alright dude, I'm gonna call."

"Alright, remember keep it simple, tell the truth, yada yada" Az laughed.

David rolled his eyes and dialed Kurt's number. He could only hope that he would answer the phone so they could talk about this.

Until next time! Thanks for reading :)
