Severus and Harry went with Draco back to Malfoy Manor. "Are you sure you're okay being here?" Draco asked Harry.

"Of course," Harry said. "I want to be here to support you."

Narcissa was sitting on the sofa in shock as they lifted Lucius's body and took him out. The second Harry stepped in the house, however, his scar started burning. "Ahhh!" Harry exclaimed, clutching his forehead in pain.

"Harry?" Severus asked, panic clear in his voice. Narcissa was watching them strangely, so Severus held back. Harry wondered why Severus was being so distant with him, and realized it was because there was someone else in the room. He glared. "Narcissa...if you want, you can come stay with Harry, Draco and I."

Her eyes were red-rimmed. "I would appreciate that," Narcissa said, looking at Harry.

"I'm...sorry for your loss," was all Harry said. He wondered if Narcissa still loved Lucius even though they had been getting a divorce.

"No one should be alone tonight," Severus added. They all Apparated back to Severus's apartment.

"You can have my room," Severus said to Narcissa. "I have a perfectly fine fold-out couch in the living room."

Harry knew Narcissa had just lost her ex-husband, but he looked up at Severus strangely. "Where will Potter be sleeping?" Narcissa asked.

"On the floor," Severus said coolly. "Goodnight, Narcissa."

"Goodnight," she said, and went into Severus's room, closing the door behind them.

"Help me with this, will you?" Severus said. "I have no idea how these Muggle contraptions work."

Harry laughed. "Sure." They took the cushions out of the couch and unfolded it. "Do you have extra sheets?"

"In the hall cabinet," Severus said. Harry grabbed them and together, they put the sheets on the bed, followed by the comforter and pillows. After they got into bed, Severus said, "There's something you should know. I used to sleep with Lucius."

"What?" Harry exclaimed.

Severus nodded. "That all ended when Lucius insulted you," he said. Then, after realizing what he said, he blushed.

"Are you okay?" was all Harry asked. His voice was gentle, and he moved closer to Severus.

"It is difficult," Severus admitted. "And very odd, knowing he's dead."

"I'm so sorry," Harry said, rubbing Severus's arm gently. He held Severus under the blankets while the Potions Master broke down in his arms.

Severus wasn't there in the morning when Harry woke up. Narcissa seemed to be gone too. "Morning," Draco said from the armchair across the living room. Harry sat up, looking around. "He's in his Potions lab. He likes to bury himself in work when he's upset."

"Thanks," Harry said, getting up and walking down the hall towards Severus's lab. He knocked.

"Enter," came the deep, baritone voice. Harry swallowed nervously. He wasn't sure if Severus would lash out at him or how he responded when upset. But, he supposed he would find out, and he wasn't going anywhere except in the room. So Harry entered, finding Severus working at his table.

"What are you making?" Harry asked.

"Another Dreamless Sleep potion for you," Severus informed him.

"For me?" Harry asked. "I'm not the one you should be worrying about right now, Severus. You just lost your...your lover." He couldn't keep the bitterness out of his voice.

"Harry," Severus said, turning to him and taking his hands. "The only one I love is you."

Harry blinked in shock. That was the last thing he'd expected from Severus. He reached down and brushed a lock of hair out of Severus's face. "I love you," Harry replied. He felt Severus give his hands a gentle squeeze, and then they were kissing softly. Harry slid his hand back into Severus's hair. It wasn't greasy at all, it was soft and silky, and Harry stroked it gently. Severus groaned, deepening their kiss, pulling Harry against him on the stool Severus sat on. The kiss grew hot, passionate, and Severus's tongue licked Harry's bottom lip once, twice, a third time. Harry opened his mouth, feeling Severus's tongue licking his, and he felt his knees grow weak. "Sev," Harry gasped, and Severus pulled him tighter against him, steadying him. With trembling fingers, Harry unbuttoned Severus's robes, exposing Severus's neck. Harry kissed the skin there, moving down to Severus's Adam's apple and licking it, earning another groan.

Severus picked him up, and he yelped, laughing as his boyfriend carried him over to his desk. They kissed hungrily, wildly, panting into each other's mouths. "Severus," Harry said. "I want to go all the way."

"I think we should take this slow," Severus said, and Harry groaned, resting his head on Severus's chest. "But we can explore today, if you'd like. Also, I think we should talk about what we like, what we don't like."

"I wouldn't know," Harry said. "I've only ever been with you." He blushed.

"You don't have to be embarrassed, Harry," Severus said. "So does that mean you're a virgin?"

Harry's blush deepened. "Yes."

"That's another reason for us to take this slow," Severus said.

"I don't want to be treated differently," said Harry coldly. He thought of Lucius and the times he and Severus must have had. He turned away.

"Harry?"

"Lucius must have been a better lover," Harry said.

"Don't do this, Harry." Severus sighed and ran a hand through his hair, which was messed up from Harry running his hand through it.

"I think this is too soon after Lucius's death."

Fear flashed across Severus's face, and for a second, Harry thought he might be scared of losing Harry. "For what?" he asked.

"For us to...do stuff. All I can think about now is Lucius."

"You mean you just want to be friends?" Severus asked.

"No," Harry replied. "I just think we should wait."

"I can respect that," Severus said, pulling back and buttoning his robes. "Maybe we should take this slow for now. Would a date be all right?"

Harry smiled. "It would."

AN: Hope you enjoy the new chapter! I figured quarantine would be a good time to finish some of these series I started, and this was one I kept coming back to. Sorry if it sucks, I haven't written in a while.
