6 Months Later…

A small humming could be heard from a single figure walking casually down the elegant halls of the Volturi castle. The sweet sound reverberated off the many beautiful and priceless paintings and artifacts that graced the hallways.

The happily humming figure dressed head to toe in black was soon joined by a shorter figure dressed in black as well. The blonde hair of the shorter companion nodded up to the smiling brunette beside her.

The clicks of the women's heels alerted the two standing guards whom hastily bowed to the taller figure.

She sighed.

"Boys I've said it before." Felix and Demetri smiled to the woman's response then opened the doors.

The black heeled boots clicked louder in the largely spacious throne room. Sun light glowed through the open windows, giving life and a warming feeling to the room.

The brunette walked up to the empty middle throne and sat down with Jane by her side loyally.

The black coat parted over the woman's black jean clad legs as she crossed them. Waiting for the three kings to arrive. They had been very busy with something that was entirely more important than dealing with people or vampiric politics… that had been her job during the day and teaching Forensic Anthropology at the closest major university at night.

Her plum colored lips spread out into a crisp white smile. For once in her life, glasses didn't impede her vision as bright amber eyes glanced through the waving mess of brown locks to Jane whom stood vigilantly next to her with a stiff stoic expression.

"The masters are to arrive in but a few minutes, master Avalon." Felix stated standing guard on the other side of the room.

Avalon hummed and relaxed into Aro's throne with a tired sigh even though she could no longer feel tired. Her amber gaze looked to her black painted nails then to the neatly stack pile of papers waiting for her.

She flashed over to them and back to the chair with the stack placed in her hands.

The doctor silently scanned through the reports and coven requests for meetings.

"How are you enjoying being a professor, master?" Jane surprisingly asked Avalon whom looked up and smiled at her.

"It is fun. I thought I'd have a harder time gripping with blood lust but its quiet easy. So many students are willing to learn~" Avalon laughed and turned back to her papers.

A warm breeze came through the open windows and made Avalon smile when she caught the scent of her loves.

Seconds later, all three kings walked through the double doors dripping in elegance and regality.

Two smaller beings being held by the gentle giant of a king perked up immediately when they spotted the brunette woman sitting in the chair before them.

Marcus chuckled as he let the two children down on their feet. They immediately ran to their mother with large smiles.

Haven and Avery.

The little girl held some of the whitest blonde hair Avalon had ever seen tied into a pretty French braid. Caius was very proud of his daughter whom held his looks but her mother's temperament.

The little boy held shoulder length dark black-brown hair making it impossible to tell which of the dark haired kings sired him.

Both her children held the loveliest lilac colored eyes she once had. Slight speckles of red could be seen around their pupils casting an air of in-humanness to them.

Avalon laughed happily as her twins sat in her lap and laid their heads on her breasts. Haven happily spoke to her in Italian about her piano lessons that Marcus was giving her. The child showed her the beautiful black and purple dress Aro had gotten for her. Avery was such a sweet and silent child, that he just sat there with his head on his mother's chest looking at her with adoring eyes. He was dressed in his little black suit Aro also had gotten for him. Both sported the Volturi necklace handing proudly around their necks.

Avalon laced kisses to her children's heads.

The amber orbs looked up to see three sets of soft crimson eyes watching her and her children.

"What are you three doing over there just watching? Come here." Avalon joked.

Marcus and Caius didn't need to be told twice as they sat in their chairs watching the lovely scene. Aro quickly picked Avalon up causing her to gasp. He sat down in his throne with a smirk and became enthralled with the screams of laughter from his two children.

The papers in Avalon's lap lay scattered on the floor causing her to sigh in exasperation.

These moments of happiness would forever be cherished. It may have been a long road to get there but the pain of bringing the last members of the Volturi together was worth it.

Amongst the happy memories in the making, Haven lifted her head to the doors with a slight turn of her head. Her eyes glazed over a little as if she were seeing something she didn't understand.

"Momma." Avery gently pulled on Avalon's coat to get her attention.

She looked to her son and then to her daughter. Avery pointed to the double doors with a matching confused expression on his face.

The large double doors of the throne room were opened with Demetri and Felix subtly smiling.

A single figure walked through the hallways into the room with a long brown coat and hood over his head. The figure was tall and waving brown locks could be seen hanging a little down his cheeks.

Avalon smelled the air and couldn't place the man but soft hints of cologne made her stomach twist with sadness. She had smelled that scent before when she had 'died' and when she was younger.

Her eyes narrowed as she tried to see the man's face.

"Forgive my intrusion, your majesties. I merely came to see how everyone had recovered." The man's voice spoke calmly with conflicting hints of sadness and joy.

"I am well. Thank you. W-Who… are you? If I may ask why do you care how the Volturi are?" Avalon asked quietly looking as confused as her children.

The man smiled and pulled down his hood to reveal a handsome face with the same stubble he had so long ago except his glasses were gone and his eyes were bright red. He looked like he hadn't aged a day since she had last saw him all those decades ago.

"It has always been my job to make sure that you were aright, ducky." The man stated with a small shy smile.

Avalon froze and inhaled sharply. Her children got off her lap and watched the scene quietly.

She shook a little, standing up and grasping the bone shaped necklace laying over her chest. Avalon gasped. She felt her throat tighten, then a burn in her eyes as if she was going to cry. A watery smile overtook her face.

With an agonizingly painful and happy feeling taking over the queen, she asked in disbelief.

"Dad?"

THE END

AN: Yes, that is the end of my story. I will not be writing anymore nor being doing any sequels/prequels. Let me explain a few things to clear up the air of questions I'm gonna get. Yes, Avalon's father was alive the whole time. After his wife's death, whom really did die, he worked himself in to a rabbit hole of no return leading to the discovery of Vampires. He was turned in a vampire by Amun of the Egyptian Coven when Avery discovered the existence of vampires through his research when he was in Egypt. The Volturi heard rumors about a mortal, Avery, knowing their existence and ordered them to either kill or turn him or else they would fully destroy their coven; so Amun turned him by request of Kebi when they discovered Avery had a 9 year old daughter. Avery was quickly discovered to be a gifted vampire *Memory manipulation: explains why Avalon has an altered version of her father when he died- he was being attacked when she found him and he was bitten. He manipulated her memory in him having a peaceful death with hints of what happened when he awoke as a vampire*, hidden from the Volturi's knowledge of his power, and resides in Egypt with the Egyptian coven as another gifted coven member like Benjamin. Also, the Swedish coven wanted to be the ruling class of the new world without rule of the Volturi...it seemed fitting they wanted Avalon to be joining them as she is considerably powerful with her own gift and they collect the best of the best just like the Volturi. They wanted her gift and her children's' gift to make their coven more powerful but they knew the Volturi wouldn't allow it. They were obsessed with power and there fore obsessed with her joining them as her name kinda spread far into the vampire world after the incident in the garden with the Asian clan. I hope that explains some things that may have popped up in question after my story ended.
