Hello my avid readers,

I know I may disappoint some of you with writing this but after careful consideration and a heavy heart, I have decided to end Maybe it Could Work with chapter 17. I have spent the last several weeks trying to wrap up the story when I was pointed out to me, I already had. The premise was for Nick and Judy to see if a relationship could work between them. With getting married, having kids, and gaining the acceptance of their friends and family I believe they have shown that annoying is possible.

With that being said don't think that this is the end of this plot line. I have several different ideas of using these chain of events to setup for more stories that will run before, after, and alongside. My current one, The Demons We Hide From, is tackling soldiers returning from war and PTSD issues. It runs two months after Nick and Judy got married, I alluded to the situation in chapter 13 and have two chapter written so far. It's going to be a short one, maybe only 5 or so chapters, but filled with a lot of emotions and flashbacks. I have rated it as M only for the language and the flashback scenes, which will be fairly graphic.

So again Maybe It Could Work is officially complete. I want to thank the 25,000 people who have read my story since I started writing in July. It is a huge honor to have some many people interested in my little story here. A very big shout out to Selaxas, I highly recommend his stories if you haven't read them yet, and my wife for helping with editing and evolving the story. To all of you who followed, liked, and reviewed it really did help to make the story what it is by pushing me to keep it at the level you expected.

Until we meet again,

Happy reading.
