Someone knocked at the door and when Emma stood and opened, Snow, David, Henry and Tink came inside in silent, there was no need to say anything because their smiles said it all.

David and Henry began to play the video games that Emma had bought to the kid, and Snow asked Tink for help to prepare dinner.

Regina began to say goodbye, but when she stood to take her coat, Snow interrupted.

"Regina, where do you think you're going?", she asked alarmed

"It's getting late, so it's best if I go home, if Henry wants to stay, it's okay, really",

"But I'm making dinner, and is a family dinner and no one can leave until we finish", Snow declared.

Family Dinner, he words left Regina in shock, family? yes, these people were her family, after so much war time, she finally had a loving family, she finally had a home. Thinking about it made her eyes fill with tears and she couldn't help but start to cry.

Emma took Regina's hand and made their way out of the house for a moment with the excuse that they were going to take some air.

Once outside Emma hugged Regina again. They stood there, silently waiting for the brunette to feel comfortable to talk.

"Regina, what happened? You feel bad? is something wrong?", Emma asked worried.

"Sorry Emma, I think I just got emotional for what Mary Margaret said, but I'm fine, in fact I have never felt better", She said with a smile and then kissed Emma.

"Not that I'm complaining about the kiss, but you had me pretty scared over there"

"I know, it's just... after all this time, I know that you all are my family, you have always been, and although it hurts to have taken so long to realize, I did not cry for sadness, on the contrary, I'm so happy."

Emma smiled and hugged Regina again.

"We will always be your family, no matter what happens, you know that, right?"

"What if I screw this up? Or if I become the evil queen again?"

"But, what if I mess this up, us?", the brunette insisted.

Emma took Regina's hand and placed it on her heart. Regina could feel the blonde's heartbeat; she had never felt anything like that.

"Ma! Mom! Mary Margaret says that if you don't get inside right now, you're not going to have dinner", Henry said, standing in the doorway.

Both laughed and went inside to have dinner with their family.

The days passed by and despite the problems presented, nothing could destroy the relationship they had formed. Although Emma was happy with Regina, she still felt something was missing, she had not been able to spend time alone with the brunette, so she decided to plan a perfect date to brighten the mayor.

"And... Where are we going?" Regina asked.

"I've told you a thousand times", Emma said, laughing, "it's a surprise, you'll see"

"Emma, you know I don't like surprises, besides, I don't know if I'm dressed properly."

"Believe me, you look more than appropriate", the blonde said with a wink, causing the brunette to blush.

Emma kept driving until Regina noticed that they were about to leave the city.

"Emma stop! stop the car now!", Regina yelped, suddenly afraid.

"What? What's wrong?", Emma asked while stopping the car.

"Why didn't you told me that we were going out of town?"

"What? I didn't think it was something that would matter, I'm sorry", Emma said, looking at her feet.

"No... Emma... don't apologize,", Regina told her, now calm, "it's been years since I left the city, I guess I just got scared"

"Hey, we're together, nothing will happen to you, do you trust me?"

"Of course, I do"

Emma continued driving and when they crossed the town line, they did it holding hands, and Regina felt safer than ever.

When they arrived at the restaurant, Regina was excited, the place seemed like a dream, it was perfect. Seeing this, she put her hands around Emma's neck and kissed her.

"So... does that mean you like the place?", the blonde asked making Regina laugh.

"Of course I do; I love it"

They went inside and sit down in a table, while they chose from the menu, the blonde asked for wine. Regina took advantage of that and without having Emma's eyes on her, she took something from her purse put it in Emma's hand.

"Regina… what does this mean?"

"Emma, I know we have been dating a little time, but we have been family long before, so I want us to live as a family... Would you like to move in with Henry and me?"

The blonde was surprised, now she had her own set of keys, of course, she already spent most nights there, but this was an even bigger step.

"I'm sorry, was it too soon? It's okay if you don't want to", Regina asked again as Emma said nothing.

"Yes… I… no, I mean, I would love to, I would love to live with you and Henry, and wake up every day next to you, I would really love to", Emma replied in tears.

"Hey, no one said anything about sleeping with me", Regina joked.

They spent the entire date that way, joking and teasing each other. The night couldn't have been more beautiful. Even when they returned to the city, nothing could ruin the night.

Upon arriving home, Henry was gone to spend the night at Grace's with other classmates.

They were alone, so Emma took Regina in her arms and carried her to the room where so many nights they had been together, but now, she could stay every night, because it was her new home.

The next day, Emma woke up with the sun hitting her face, didn't wanting to get up, because she had not slept enough. At least she had switched her turn with her father's so she could have a date with Regina without having to worry about anything else, but in return she had to babysit her brother Neal.

"NO. you're. not. Awake. Now.", Regina growled.

Emma threw herself over Regina to wake her up with kisses.

"I'm sorry your majesty, but the prince is on his way and we had planned to spend the afternoon with him", Emma said removing the sheets, uncovering Regina's nakedness.

"Just for that, you're not taking a shower with me", Regina said in a serious tone, making the blonde's smile fade away.

"Regina, no ... I'm so sorry", Emma began to beg, making Regina grin in a wicked way.

"Emma, I'm just kidding, come," she said taking Emma's hand, leading the way to the bathroom.
