Hello all readers of fanfiction! Welcome back to One Scene After Another. I am overwhelmed with the amount of reviews I got in the first chapter and blown away with the amount of favorites and follows it got as well. Absolutely insane, but I am not complaining one bit!

This took forever to write and I am not kidding, my hands hurt. I'm pretty sure I just developed arthritis typing this entire chapter. But I had fun doing it, so I am going to do more soon.

Thank you love for being my beta! It is so amazing; I can't tell you.

I do not own Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir… Though I wish I did because it would makes things so much easier! They wouldn't be so damn dense!

Now, I kept you all waiting for over a week, so I am not going to keep you waiting any longer.

Please enjoy this new installment of One Scene After Another!

Marinette stared up at the screen in front of her in worry. She simply could not believe this was happening.

"Can you believe this is happening!" Alya whisper squealed next to her. Marinette sighed. No, no she could not. "Just think! Ladybug and Chat Noir! Their identities! Eeee!" Alya squealed again. This time, Marinette rolled her eyes in response. Of course Alya is excited.

Adrien looked at the two girls from the corner of his eye as the screen turned white. The light allowed him to see the carefully schooled expression on his normally blushing classmate's face. He raised an eyebrow at the sight of it. The only times he had ever seen that expression, that exact expression, was when his Lady was thinking of a plan.

The sound of the opening scene's music brought all of the students' attention to the screen. The sound made both Marinette and Adrien stiffen. It was only a matter of time before their secret identities became a lot less… Secret-y.

It all started with the image of a very familiar bakery. Marinette swallowed nervously. Already, she wasn't liking this.

Scene: Marinette's Room

(Marinette is shown to be sleeping peacefully with her covers kicked out of place and a small, red kwami on her stomach. Her cell phone begins to ring her alarm, waking her up. Her eyes pop open and in a split second, she is sitting upright, therefore launching Tikki across the bed.)

Tikki huffed silently and poked Marinette's side in retribution for being launched, making Marinette smile slightly. That is…

"Why is Marinette on the screen? Lame," Chloé Bourgeois drawled as the petty princess threw her nose into the air, her hair smacking the person next to her, which unfortunately was Kim.

Marinette rolled her eyes in annoyance at the platinum blondie as Alya scowled. Only to smile at her bestie. "Nice pose, Mari," she snickered. Marinette rolled her eyes again, only this time, in good nature.

Adrien's eyes widened as he registered the creature that was launched from Marinette on the screen. It looked just like… But it couldn't be… Could it?

Marinette: (Wakes up) Huh? (She then hops out of bed to slide down her railing) Happy birthday – ow! (Because Marinette is a lovable klutz, she had overshot her ride down the railing and ended up hitting something off the screen)

The class winced in sympathy, but with good natured smiles.

Marinette: Happy birthday! (Needless to say, she is still in an incredibly happy mood as she spun into her computer chair to stop in front of her desktop)

Marinette's eyes widened as she realized what was about to be shown.

(The screen opens to show the collage of Adrien's pictures with hearts surrounding him)

"Kill me," Marinette muttered as she buried her face in her hands. Alya patted her shoulder comfortingly, as she glared at Chloé, practically daring her to even make one snide remark. Luckily for the brat, she didn't… But she did snicker with Sabrina. Alya rolled her eyes at their immaturity.

Adrien blinked as he watched the screen and blushed slightly. All this time, he had thought that she stammered around him because of intimidation or possibly some still residing hostile feelings from their first encounter. Only to see that she liked him.

Adrien looked at the blushing girl from the corner of his eye and smiled to himself.

Marinette: Ah! Happy birthday, Adrien. (Marinette leans forward to her computer screen as she puckered her lips, making kissing noises to the screen and to her love. Tikki comes back into the screen, recovered from being flung earlier, to float next to Marinette's shoulder.)

Adrien smiled to himself and hummed in thought. He was now 95% sure that that was indeed what he thought. And he could not help but feel his ego boost a little at Marinette's display of affection.

"How pathetic," Chloé scoffed.

Cai looked up from her textbook to glare at the back of the blonde's head. At the moment, Cai decided to do some studying. She had a large exam back in her world and it was coming up soon, and since she wasn't really doing much, why not get a portion of it out of the way? It's not like wrecking all their lives as they knew it was a big deal or anything.

With an innocent humming, Cai lifted her foot and sent her booted heel into the back of Chloé's bean bag to make her shut up.

Chloé gasped, but didn't say anything.

Scene: Adrien's bathroom

(The young blond boy is shown to be standing in his bathroom, tooth brush in hand and brushing his teeth. His eyes open as a black blur entered the scene with a triangle wrapped in a bow.)

Plagg: Happy birthday, Adrien!

Adrien winced at the memory of the stench, only to remember that the smell was not just a memory, but reality. He could smell it as Plagg peeked his head out of his over shirt when he heard his voice.

"Hey, it's me! And my love," Plagg purred happily. Adrien quickly covered the black cat kwami with his hand to keep anyone from seeing him. Or at least, anyone that wasn't supposed to see him.

Marinette gasped silently as she realized what the black blur was. But that could only mean that because Adrien obviously knew what it was and the kwami obviously knew him… That could only mean that...

"Chat?" Marinette breathed out. It was silent enough to the point where only Adrien heard her, and that was because of his supreme cat hearing.

Without a word, and only with a cheeky grin, Adrien reached over and lightly took Marinette's hand in his, giving her hand a small squeeze. Marinette could not help the blush that rose, even though she was still practically motionless with the shock.

Her partner…

(Plagg proudly presents his Chosen a nice wedge of Camembert cheese, his favorite delicacy. The red bow only accented its beauty. Adrien turned to face him, only to close his eyes and recoil as the smell hit him full frontal. Disgust colored his face and voice as he spoke.)

Adrien: Ugh, Plagg! (He quickly covered his nose in vain attempts of warding off the smell before it got to him completely. Because he was plugging his nose, his voice went up a couple of pitches) Get that filthy piece of Camembert out of my face!

(Instead of looking upset at the rejection of his thoughtful gift, Plagg was already opening his mouth before Adrien even finished his sentence.)

Plagg: Huh? (With a flourish, the Camembert disappeared into the open maw of the black kitty as he enjoyed his lovely treat. He rubbed his belly in satisfaction.) Mmm.

Adrien sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose at the display of Plagg's lack in table manners… And at the display of his ridiculous cheese obsession.

"Nice! I want one!" Nino exclaimed as he watched the floating creature swallow the entire wedge whole. Adrien shook his head.

"Trust me, Nino. You don't."

Scene: Dupain-Cheng House

(Marinette is walking down the stairs, holding a beautifully wrapped gift to a certain model in her hands. Her mother looks up from her cup as she hears her daughter descend the stairs and with a smile, she turns around to grab her daughter's attention.)

Marinette realized how similar this scene was to this morning and blinked frantically. Oh no! Her parents must be worried sick!

"Oh, Marinette, thanks for reminding me! Don't worry about your parents and if they are worrying. They are aware that the school is taking a field trip and if they try to investigate it, it will look exactly like that," Cai spoke up from the back as she continued to read.

Marinette sunk back into her bean bag in relief. At least her parents weren't going to worry about her. That was the last thing she wanted to do to them.

Adrien squeezed her hand again and smiled. It made her heart flutter.

Then she blinked at the realization. How did she know I was worried about my parents?

Sabine: Marinette, don't forget to clean your room after school today. (Marinette turned to look at her with a dumbstruck expression as her mother spoke. The screen then moved into a close up on Marinette.)

Marinette: Mom! It's Friday, and I'm already doing something with Alya.

(With a smile, Sabine turned to face her daughter completely and shrugged.)

Sabine: Fine, I'll go ahead and clean it, but don't blame me if I come across any of your private stuff, (she threw her head back as she began to list the items thoughtfully) like your e-mails, your diary –

"Now that is the way to get someone to clean their room," Alix laughed. It was the first thing she had said since they arrived.

"And it will always work," Marinette grumbled, with a pout.

(Marinette's lips grew into a thin line as she made a nervous expression. She surely didn't want that. With a defeated sigh, she interrupted bringing her curled hand up to her face in nervousness.)

Marinette: Okay! I'll do it, I'll do it! (She quickly went to her mother to kiss her on the cheek goodbye before leaving for school. Before she is completely out the door, her mother calls to her again.)

Sabine: Have a nice day, sweetie!

Marinette: Happy birthday – I mean, have a nice day! (And with that embarrassing mix up, she closes the door)

Alya chuckled and nudged her friend's shoulder. "Get a hold of yourself. You are seriously one tracked minded!" Then Alya noticed how Adrien was holding Marinette's hand and squealed. "When did that happen!"

Marinette blushed and turned away from Alya to avoid answering her question. Since she really didn't have a clue either. However, her turning away meant that she was actually turning towards Adrien and that was always a bad idea for Marinette's mental health.

(Sabine looked confused at her daughter's reply, humming in a questioned tone)

Sabine: Hm? (With a content shrug, she continued to drink whatever was in her cup in her hands. First guess, it was tea.)

Scene: Agreste Mansion

(Adrien is seen sitting at the large dining table in the overly-empty dining room, alone. His head was bent over his plate, but that did not hide the sad expression that donned his face.)

Marinette frowned deeply at the screen at the sight of her one love all alone. She subconsciously squeezed the hand still held in hers, which made Adrien look over at her.

Marinette looked up and smiled slightly, nudging his shoulder with hers as she scooted a bit closer as a way to offer comfort. Adrien smiled and nudged her back.

Nino watched this from the corner of his eye and smiled to himself. It's finally happening!

(The scene shifts to a closer look at Adrien as he sits at the head of the table, all alone. He had a cup raised, but before taking a drink, he closed his eyes and set it down as his father's assistant Nathalie walked up to him, holding a tablet. She leaned closer to hand off the device to the lonely boy.)

Nathalie: Your schedule, Adrien.

(Adrien looked up at her and gently took the tablet from her.)

Adrien sighed and slouched down into his bean bag. He honestly hated how saddening his home life was. And he wished that it wasn't broadcasted to his entire class.

Adrien: (He spoke softly) Thanks, Nathalie. (As the assistant began to leave, Adrien suddenly sat up straighter, his face lighting up in hope as he reached out a hand to stop her before she left completely.) Hey, um, did my father get back to you about my birthday party? (His eyes looked up at her in hope)

"The answer is he did, but it wasn't anything good," Adrien muttered sourly as he remembered the disappointment and slight depression from his birthday.

Nino placed a comforting hand on his shoulder and squeezed gently, but Adrien didn't look up to respond. He simply shrugged.

Nathalie: Well, um – He… Doesn't think it would be a good idea.

Adrien: (He looked away from her, his hopes dashed once again and the sadness was clear on his face. His voice once again turns soft.) 'Course not.

Nathalie: (Seeing his reaction, she turned to face him fully, giving the only thing she could say.) Happy birthday, Adrien. (With those few words, she turned back and left him alone once again in the dining room at the large and empty table.)

Marinette scowled gently. "Like that is any consolation," Marinette muttered, unconsciously squeezing Adrien's hand again.

"We're so sorry, Adrien. It must be so lonely for you," Mylene said, leaning forward so he could hear her.

Adrien gave her a small smile, but quickly turned back to face the screen as the scene changed again.

Scene: Outside the school

(Bubbles float in the air, which moves down to reveal Adrien and Nino, the latter blowing the bubbles in the first place. In the background, Rose and Nathanael are climbing the stairs.)

Nino: (As he blows his bubbles, he speaks, casting his eyes over to his best friend.) Dude, seriously? Has your dad always been such a downer? You'd think he'd remember what it was like to be young and wanna party a little. (In emphasis, Nino waved his hand around and frowned at his friend.)

Adrien: (Adrien gave him a small grin, which quickly turned to a frown as he replied.) No, I'm pretty sure he was a downer back then too. (He then shrugged and cast his eyes downward.) Well, at least I tried.

"Not that it did much… It never does," Adrien muttered. Behind him, he could hear a few words of sympathy and sighed.

(Seeing Adrien's distress, Nino quickly wrapped an arm around his bud's shoulder in comfort and support.)

Nino: (His tone was upbeat, obviously in an attempt to be encouraging and pump Adrien up again) It's your b-day, dude! Insist!

(As he spoke, the scene zoomed over to Alya and Marinette, who were hiding behind the walls around the steps to keep out of site. Alya and Marinette moved further back to avoid being caught. Marinette was holding the present from earlier in front of her as she crouched down.)

"There I am!" Alya squealed as she grabbed Marinette by the shoulders to shake her.

"Whatever, your hair is atrocious! Oh wait, it always is," Chloé said with a cruel laugh. Alya ignored her as she stared at the screen in excitement.

"I can see that, Alya. I have eyes," Marinette giggled.

Alya: (Alya crouched down next to Marinette as she offered words of encouragement to Marinette. Her voice was insistent, as she really wanted her best friend to succeed in doing this one thing.) You can do it, you can do it!

Marinette: (Hearing her friend's words of encouragement, she pumped herself up.) I can do it, I can do it!

(The scene once again changed back to Adrien and Nino, showing that they were still discussing the party and Adrien's father. Nino's arm was still around Adrien's neck. Adrien was giving Nino a slightly bewildered look, maybe a little amused as well.)

Nino: You know what, I'm gonna have a little convo with your pops.

Adrien: (Adrien looked away from Nino, downcast once again. He knew it was going to be hopeless.) Don't waste your time. He's not gonna change his mind.

(The scene once again zoomed out to show Marinette standing to look over at Adrien, only for her to go back to her crouched position in hiding. Alya watched her with wide eyes and a frown.)

Marinette: I can't do it, I can't do it! (She practically whimpered as she used her present to hide behind for the next hundred years or so.)

"Yes you could have!" Alya whispered to her.

Alya: (With an annoyed sigh, she facepalmed and placed her hands on her hips.) Uh, no you don't girl. You've been stalling all morning! Now's the time. (AS she spoke, she leaned closer to Marinette, and when she was finished, she pushed her shy bestie out of her safe hiding place and in front of Adrien.)

"You tell her!" Kim said with a laugh.

(With a startled scream, Marinette stumbled directly into the two boys, bringing their attention to her in shock at her sudden scream and appearance. She looked up to notice the two when she came to a complete stop, her arms thrown out in front of her for balance as she bent over to keep from falling.)

Marinette: (With a nervous and shy, and slightly embarrassed, smile, Marinette stood up straighter and quickly hid the present behind her back.)

Adrien raised an eyebrow. Where have I seen that before?

Marinette: Um, he-hey! (She gave an awkward and quick wave before bringing her hand back behind her.)

(Nino and Adrien shared a confused look before looking back at her.)

Adrien: (He waved back at her, albeit a little awkwardly as well, still surprised.) Hey.

(The scene then moves to the doors of the school, where Chloé Bourgeois stood watching the now trio with her only "friend," Sabrina. With a frown, she placed a hand to her forehead in annoyance and irritation.)

Chloé: Wait! Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing? Don't tell me it's Adrien's birthday!

"If you were a real friend, you would have known that for yourself. And you wouldn't have forgotten," Alya said over her shoulder, giving the rich girl a glare.

Chloé huffed. "Whatever. I am Adrikin's best friend either way," she smirked.

Adrien shook his head and sighed. Really, when was she going to get rid of that stupid and hideous nickname for him?

(Sabrina quickly checks the tablet in her hands, and with a shocked face, she quickly holds the tablet closer. With a hopefully excusing hum, she smiled sheepishly and nodded slightly. As Alix walks by them, Chloé groaned and facepalmed, before lashing out at Sabrina.)

Chloé: Ugh, do I have to do everything myself? Seriously, what are you good for! (With her nose in the air, she turned on her heel and stormed out to the front of the school to Adrien, leaving Sabrina alone.)

"So, tell me again. Why are you friends with her Sabrina? She is always putting you down," Marinette asked, turning to look at the red-head next to said priss.

Sabrina looked down at her hands and shrugged as Chloé scoffed. She saw absolutely nothing wrong with her treatment. In fact, she still agreed with herself on the screen.

"Well, it is no way to treat anyone, especially your best friend," Marinette sighed as she turned back to the front, leaving Sabrina to contemplate her final words to her.

(Back to Marinette and Adrien with Nino, Marinette stammers out an explanation for her appearance, when Chloé walks in from off the screen.)

Marinette: (With her nervousness from being around her crush, she continuously stammered.) I, uh, I wanted to, umm, gift you a make – I mean, gift you a gift I made – I mean –

"That was actually a right way of saying it," Max put in.

"Yeah, well I didn't realize it at the time," Marinette huffed, blushing brightly at her embarrassing display.

(Before she could finish, or try to word properly what she wanted to say, Chloé rudely pushed her out of the way by faking an overly exaggerated yawn.)

Chloé: (With a bored expression, she shoved Marinette away, ignoring the shocked cry from the half Chinese girl as she was shoved off camera) Out of the way.

"That wasn't nice!" Rose cried as she looked over to the blonde.

"Since when is Chloé ever nice?" Juleka muttered to her friend, which made Rose pout even more.

Chloé: (In a complete turn of attitude, suddenly, Chloé becomes Little Miss Sweetness) Happy birthday, Adrien! (She then jumped into Adrien, wrapping her arms around his neck and kisses him on the cheek) Mwah!

Adrien: (With a surprised look on his face, he gently pushes her away with a gentle grin) Yeah, thanks, Chlo.

Marinette frowned and sighed quickly as she watched Chloé kiss Adrien. She quickly bit her lip, unable to help the jealousy or the sadness creeping up in her at it.

Adrien blinked as he watched the girl next to him. With a smile, he leaned over to whisper into her ear. "I didn't exactly enjoy it either," he whispered. Marinette looked up at him in shock, which made him smile more.

(Marinette is then shown, on the ground, with the present stretched out before her.)

Marinette: (With a groan, she muttered to herself.) Dummy.

(Alya groaned and facepalmed once more.)

Alya facepalmed again with herself on the screen. "Oh Marinette."

(It cut back to Chloé and Adrien, Chloé's arms still around him like a python as she smiled up at him.)

Chloé: Did you get the gift I sent you?

"Oh you mean the one you didn't get him?" Alix muttered.

Adrien: (With a skeptical look to her, he replied) Uh, no.

Chloé: (She let out an annoyed tone as she pulled back from Adrien to go on her tantrum.) What? Oh, those delivery guys. I bet it was too heavy so they had to go back and get another guy to help. Those slackers!

"That doesn't even make any sense," Alix cried out in annoyance, rubbing her temples as a headache began to form.

"Yes it does!" Chloé said with a huff.

Chloé: (She then turns back to Adrien, wrapping her arms over his shoulders again.) I'll make sure they get it to you by tonight. (She then kissed him once more, exaggerating it with a 'Mwah' and left the two boys as she went humming a happy tune.)

(Nino looked at Adrien and chuckled, giving him a playful punch to the arm. In the background, Alya's head can be seen poking in from behind the stairs again.)

"I thought you were my friend," Adrien chuckled to Nino.

Alya: (she kneels next to Marinette once again with a big smile) Get back there! Don't be a pushover, literally!

"Gee thanks Alya," Marinette grumbled to her friend.

"You should be a coach, Alya. You certainly are encouraging," Kim laughed. Alya rolled her eyes and grinned.

(Marinette gave a defeated hum in reply, staying in her hidden position as she once again hid behind the present for the next one hundred years or so. Alya gave her a frustrated and completely done look in response to the less than enthusiastic remark.)

(The scene then changed back to the school doors, where Sabrina stood waiting for Chloé to join her again. As Chloé walked up to her, she had to ask.)

Sabrina: What did you get him?

Chloé: (Once again, her attitude from earlier had done a complete turnaround. Instead of the sweet and innocent act, she was showing her anger.) I didn't, you did! And it better be amazing, and it better not be late!

(Sabrina cowered back from Chloé's pointing finger and nodded hurriedly. Chloé gave off a noise of her frustration and stormed away, leaving Sabrina to follow behind her and tap quickly on the tablet in her hands to look for the perfect, Chloé-approved present for Adrien.)

"So you didn't even buy a present for him? You had someone else do it for you?" Marinette said, appalled. A present was something you gave from the heart, not something you had someone do instead of taking the time to get one!

"Yeah, so what?" Chloé said, completely unaffected.

Adrien frowned deeply and sighed.

(The scene goes back to show Marinette staring at the present in her hands intently, as Alya gently nudged her shoulder in encouragement.)

Alya: C'mon, you can do it!

(Marinette gave a determined hum and the screen zoomed back out to include Adrien and Nino, Marinette popping out of her hiding place. However, before she could go back over to the boys, there was a honking that took their attention. A white limo pulled up to the curb to pick up Adrien.)

Adrien: He turned back to Nino and waved as he left Nino at the stairs) Gotta go. Photoshoot. (He then got into the limo and was pulled away from the school.)

(As the limo pulls away, it leaves Alya and Marinette visible.)

Marinette: Why can't I just mean what I say?

"That's not the way it goes," Max pointed out.

"Yes, thank you, Max" Marinette huffed.

Alya: Uh, say what you mean?

Marinette: Exactly.

(The camera moves back to Nino, who is now standing by him with his hands on his hips, looking after the limo.)

Nino: Looks like I've got some business to take care of with Adrien's old man.

(A Ladybug symbol filled the screen with sparkles and opened back up to show the Agreste Mansion)

Scene: Outside the Agreste Mansion

(Marinette and Alya are seen to be standing outside the mansion at the gate. Marinette is trying to open the mailbox, but it isn't budging)

Marinette: (She looks over at Alya) This mailbox won't budge!

"It's all high tech," Nino chuckled. Marinette leaned forward to look past Adrien to the other boy and rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, well, how was I supposed to know that?" she grumbled and leaned back into her rather comfortable bean bag chair.

Adrien chuckled quietly. "Sorry, Marinette." She blushed brightly and didn't reply.

Alya: Ring the doorbell. (She pointed to the doorbell next to the mailbox with a small, knowing grin)

Marinette: Are you kidding? What if Adrien answers the –

(Ignoring her friend, Alya went ahead and pressed the doorbell. Marinette's eyes widened as she began to panic and lets out an equally panicked shriek. Now that there was an awareness of somebody at the door, a hidden compartment in the wall opened and a camera appeared to greet the girls. A voice came from the camera.)

"Oh because that is so welcoming," Alix said dryly.

Voice: Yes?

(The view changed to how the camera saw the scene)

Marinette: (She rubbed the back of her head sheepishly before facing the camera completely and smiling with a small, yet awkward wave) Um, hi. I'm in Adrien's class and I, uh – (Unable to find the right words, Marinette raises the gift to show it to the camera, as though that would explain everything) Heh, did I already say that? Umm (Her nerves show even more as she gives an awkward smile into the camera)

"Well, girl, you really didn't exactly say anything. You just smiled weirdly at the camera and hid behind the present," Alya chuckled, giving Marinette a sideways glance.

"You know, I never got your gift, Marinette. What was it?" Adrien asked, curious to the gift in her hands. He didn't remember getting one from her.

Marinette sighed and slouched into her seat in an effort to keep attention from her. "Just keep watching, I don't want to talk about it."

Adrien raised a questioning eyebrow, but did as she said. He didn't want to make her even more nervous.

Voice: Put it in the box. (On cue, the mailbox opened from the wall, giving Marinette the chance to put it in. Which she did.)

Marinette: Uh. Thank you! (she grinned into the camera appreciatively, only to have the camera remove itself from her face and back into the wall, which closes once again.)

"Yep, completely welcoming," Alix said as she rolled her eyes.

Adrien shrugged.

Marinette: (With an excited wiggle, she turns back to Alya, practically bouncing in place) Oh, I hope he likes it!

Alya: (she stood with her hands behind her back and tilted her head slightly) You sighed the note, right? (Seeing Marinette's surprised and caught-off-guard expression, she was able to conclude that she indeed had not.) Ah, girl, girl, girl. (She placed a hand to her temple and shook her head with an amused grin, to which Marinette groans in defeat.)

Scene: Inside the Agreste Mansion

(Nathalie enters her office, with Marinette's gift in hand. As she sits down, she places the gift off to the side, and her intercom is activated by an incoming call from Gabriel Agreste. She quickly presses a button to have his face appear on the screen to answer.)

Gabriel: Who was that, Nathalie?

Nathalie: A friend of Adrien's. She was delivering a gift for his birthday.

Gabriel: Did you remember to buy him a present from me?

Nathalie: (Nathalie blinks, surprised by the question) Uh – uh, but you didn't ask me to.

"Yeah, he most likely didn't," Adrien sighed, leaning against his arm, his closed fist against his cheek. Marinette looked over at the boy next to her and sighed softly.

"Well, at least now we know why you got the same pen for three years," Nino said, trying to get his friend's mood back up. Needless to say, it didn't work quite well.

Gabriel: (His voice quickly became angry at the accusation, his exclamation shocking Nathalie (or rather frightening her) even further) Of course I did!

Nathalie: Yes, Mr. Agreste, I – I'll take care of it.

Gabriel: Good. (He then disconnected the intercom call, making the smaller screen go blank.)

(Nathalie sits back in her chair, covering her mouth as fear began to rise in her. Gabriel Agreste was a terrifying man and seeing him get angry was never a good thing. She then leaned forward and placed her elbows on her desk to clutch her head in despair. With a sudden thought, she gasped and looked at the gift next to her. Surely, she shouldn't right? Well, she did. Without hesitation, Nathalie grabbed Marinette's gift in elation. This (not so) touching moment was then ruined by the ringing of the doorbell once again.)

Nathalie: (In an effort to compose herself before answering the bell, she cleared her throat and smoothed out her hair, then pressed the intercom button to respond) Yes?

Nino: (He appeared in the camera's lens, looking slightly nervous) Uh, hi.

"She didn't…" Adrien trailed off, his mouth opening in shock. His eyes were blown wide. Surely Nathalie hadn't done what he was thinking she had done.

No one offered an answer, especially Marinette. Alya opened her mouth to reply, but was cut off by an elbow to her stomach. She looked over at Marinette, who was shaking her head. With a sigh, Alya relaxed back into her chair.

Nino watched this, and didn't say anything either.

Scene: Inside the Agreste Mansion

(The camera changes to show Nathalie and Nino waiting in the spacious foyer of the estate. They were both standing at the bottom of the staircase, waiting for Mr. Agreste to appear.)

Nathalie: He'll be here in a minute.

(There was a close up of Nino, who was fidgeting with the bubble solution in his hands as he looked around the foyer from where he stood. He was brought back to attention by a rather cold voice interrupting his musing.)

Gabriel: (He enters from one of the side staircases and stands at the top of the opening staircase, in front of the "family" portrait of him and his son.) Adrien's not home yet.

Nino: Uh, I was coming to see you, du- Sir. (Thankfully, he caught himself before he said the entire word. Though, it would still be a bad habit.)

Marinette bit her lip. She realized what Nino was trying to do, but knew he had gone the wrong way about it. But, still it was nice of him to speak on Adrien's behalf.

"Hey, I'm sorry again for what my dad said," Adrien murmured to Nino. In response, the DJ smiled and clapped his friend on the shoulder.

"No big deal, bro," Nino replied.

Gabriel: Me?

Nino: Yeah, that's right. Look, I know you don't want Adrien to have a party, but it's his birthday, dude – I mean, sir – it's all he wants!

"Well, that's definitely a strike against you, Nino. You keep calling him dude," Alya snickered. Nino frowned at her and waved his hand dismissively at her.

Gabriel: (He raised his hand to stop any further insists from the young boy, and to put a stop to this conversation) No. That's final.

(As Nino stares up at Mr. Agreste, Adrien enters from the front door from his photoshoot to have his lunch before heading back to school.)

Nino: That's messed up! He never screws up in class, he always does whatever you tell him. Photoshoots, fencing, Chinese, piano –

"Geez, Adrien, how do you have any time for yourself?" Alix exclaimed, her eyes widening at the amount of activities he goes through.

"To be honest, I don't really have any free time," Adrien sighed. "It's all filled up with appointments and activities I have to do."

Rose and Mylene look at the boy in front of them and offer small sounds of sympathy. They both felt so sorry that Adrien couldn't do anything for fun.

And that doesn't include all the stuff I have to do as Chat Noir, Adrien thought to himself.

Marinette looked at the model and bit her lip. This is why she had hoped he wasn't Chat Noir. He already does so much, and with so little time to do it. Being Chat meant that that small amount of time he did have for himself would be taken up. But now that she had seen some proof, like the black kwami, she couldn't help the feeling of unwanted pity for him.

Marinette nudged the boy next to her with her shoulder and smiled gently in encouragement. Adrien blinked at the sight and felt the smile be returned, something that he couldn't help when looking at her beautifully blue eyes light up.

(Noticing that Nino was arguing with his father, Adrien walked up and spoke up to interrupt Nino's listing before it got any worse, placing his hand on Nino's shoulder to stop him.)

Adrien: Nino? You're here.

Nino: (He looked over at his friend with an enthusiastic grin) Anything for my best bud. (He then turned to Mr. Agreste once more) Show some awesomeness, du – I mean, sir, please.

(Obviously this was the wrong thing to say, due to the anger that made itself apparent on Gabriel Agreste's face. Noticing this, Adrien turns back to his friend, hoping to diffuse the situation before it got any worse.)

Adrien: (His eyes lowered in disappointment and spoke quietly to Nino, replacing his hand on his shoulder, making Nino look at him in surprise.) Forget it, Nino, really, it's fine.

"No, it really isn't!" Nino huffed. "You should have had that party!"

Adrien looked over at him and raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I got one. But it was at the cost of my best friend being akumatized, if you don't recall."

Nino sighed and slinked down into his seat once again. "Oh yeah…"

Gabriel: Listen, young man. I decide what's best for my son. In fact, I've just decided that you are a bad influence and you're not welcome in my house ever again. Leave now! (As he spoke, his voice rose a couple of octaves and became far more forceful to emphasize his point. His eyes narrowed with each second that passed, showing just how angry he actually was.)

(And the situation just got a whole lot worse. Adrien's eyes widened and he moved into a more pleading position.)

Adrien: Father, he was just trying to do something cool for me.

(With one final glare, Gabriel Agreste began to leave the room. He didn't even acknowledge them with any further words. To keep the interaction from going on any further, Nathalie stepped in front of the two boys with her hands behind her back.)

Nathalie: Goodbye.

(Nino's anger and frustration are clear on his face as he turns and stalks out of the manor to the outside world. Adrien quickly follows him and stops Nino by grabbing his shoulder once more, his desperation clear.)

Adrien: Nino, wait! I'm sorry, my father, he's pretty stubborn. It's just best to stay out of his way.

Nino: (Turning to Adrien, his anger colors his voice pretty clearly, showing on his face as well) It's not fair, Adrien. Harsh, uncool. (And with that, Nino crossed his arms in frustration and left, leaving Adrien to stand alone on the staircase leading up to his manor.)

"It certainly isn't," Alya grumbled.

Adrien: Thanks anyway, Nino.

This time, most of the entire class 'awwwed' at the sad site of Adrien's upset face and lonely stance. The next thing he knew, Adrien was being brought into a giant group hug of his entire class, minus Chloé and Sabrina of course.

"Don't worry, Adrien! We'll just throw you a belated birthday party when we get back! We don't need your father's permission for that," Kim cheered.

"I don't know. Really, it's fine." Adrien tried to reassure them. Which made Marinette place her hands on her hips.

"It is not, Adrien! This is our promise to you; you will have that birthday party and there is nothing you or your dad can say to change our mind," Marinette smiled. Adrien blushed and ducked his head to hide the smile. "Besides, I'll make sure that they don't go too crazy with the planning," she finished, giving Kim and Alix a meaningful look.

The two smiled at her innocently, looking the part of angels. Well, Marinette knew better.

"Thanks, guys," Adrien said with a bright smile.

Scene: Park

(Nino arrives at the park and sits on the bench, obviously still angry. He opens his bottle of bubble solution and begins to create the soapy orbs in an effort to take his mind off the situation. His attention is then taken by a crying little boy with bright orange hair, being tugged along by his father.)

Kid: But, Daddy, please! (His father grabs him by the hand and continues to take the child home from the park.)

Father: No, it's not playtime, you've got your chores to do.

(As the image changes back to Nino, the child could still be heard complaining, which continues to rile Nino's frustrations.)

Nino: Ugh. Adults ruin everything, all the time.

Scene: Hawk Moth's lair

(A large window opens, revealing a butterfly motif made on the glass. In the light exposed stands a man, surrounded by hundreds of white butterflies, which immediately go flying into the air the instant they are touched by the light.)

Marinette gasps and leans closer, hoping to catch any hint of where Hawk Moth could be. This is her sworn enemy and any lead against him had to be a good enough catch.

Adrien's eyes widened as he too leaned forward, looking for the same thing as Marinette.

"Ew, who is that?" Chloé complained. "Put my Adrihoney back on the screen!"

"Hawk Moth…" Marinette breathed, her eyes widening further.

Hawk Moth: Desperate to help his friend, but feeling powerless. (A close-up of Hawk Moth's face appears, showing his smug smirk) How frustrating. (He opens his hand and a butterfly flies into it, and as he speaks he places his hand over the insect. Black particles of evil form in his hand and are absorbed into the butterfly.) It won't be long before frustration turns to anger. (He created an akuma.)

"So that's how he does it," Marinette hummed thoughtfully.

Adrien looked at her from the corner of his eye.

Hawk Moth: Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him! (As he speaks, the akuma flies from his hands and towards a small opening in the middle of the butterfly motif in the window, as Hawk Moth spins his cane around through the air to emphasize his words.)

(The akuma enters Paris.)

"He does realize that evilize isn't a real word, right?" Max pointed out.

"I think he's more focused on creating havoc in Paris," Marinette countered.

Scene: Park

(Back with Nino, he continues to blow bubbles. However, his little activity is interrupted by the akuma flying into the bubble wand in his hand. Suddenly, Nino raises his head and a pink outline of Hawk Moth's symbol glows around his eyes.)

Hawk Moth: (As Hawk Moth speaks to Nino through the connection the akuma made, the scene changes back to his lair, showing the villain with the same butterfly symbol around his eyes) Hawk Moth is my name and the Bubbler is now yours. I will help you with these horrid adults and all you have to do in return is help me get something from Ladybug and Chat Noir. (As he spoke, phantom images of the Ladybug Earrings and the Chat Noir Ring appeared by his head as he spoke of the two items)

"And that's how he communicates with his victims," Adrien muttered, watching the screen with a critical eye.

Marinette nodded subconsciously as she too watched the screen with skeptical interest.

"Why do you care on how he communicates with them?" Alya asked. Marinette and Adrien blinked at the sudden question.

"O-oh, you – you know, I just think it's… Interesting, i-is all," Adrien said on the spot, scratching the back of his head innocently.

Alya raised an eyebrow at the admittedly horrible excuse, but let it go as she turned her attention back to the front.

Meanwhile, Nino's stomach began to turn. He really didn't want to see himself as an akuma.

(The scene changed back to Nino.)

Nino: Yes, Hawk Moth. (The victim stood from the bench, allows the black and purple bubbles of the akuma's power override his entire body.)

(The scene cut to show the rooftops of Paris and in it, a bright red and blue blur appeared to land on one of them. As the Bubbler landed, tons of purple bubbles fled his position. He stood up to reveal his entire akuma costume.)

"You look more hideous than usual, Nino," Chloé laughed. Nino rolled his eyes.

"This coming from the Ladybug Copycat?" he hissed right back at her.

"I could be a better Ladybug than you can ever be at anything," Chloé snarled.

"Yeah, if Ladybug stood on Hawk Moth's side," Alya stated, rolling her eyes. Marinette smiled a secret smile and shook her head.

Bubbler: (Obviously pumped,Bubbler goes on cheering on the rooftop, standing in a brightly colored suit) No more adults mean total freedom! This is SOOO sweet! Off the hook! (He then takes his bubble wand/sword off his back and launches into the air to fly over Paris. As he floats away, he leaves a trail of purple bubbles behind and below him.)

(The bubbles cover the entirety of the streets below, capturing the adults. This includes the father of the child from the park. As the adults are taken into the purple bubbles, the bubble itself turns green and floats away into the sky to take the adults away. The scene continues to cut to random adults being taken and running for their lives.)

Woman: Help!

Man: Look out!

(Children cry as their parents are taken from them)

Hawk Moth: (And back in his lair, Hawk Moth appears) Perfect.

"Hawk Moth does realize that he is an adult too, right?" Max once again stated to point out the obvious.

"Creep," Juleka muttered.

Scene: Dupain-Cheng House

(Marinette is shown to be sitting at the counter in her home, eating her lunch. Well, not so much eating as much as forming her food into the shape of a heart as she day dreams quietly. Behind her, her mother is opening the window to let some air in.)

Marinette: (In her day-dream state, she speaks to herself) Adrien must have gotten his gift by now.

(Hearing her daughter say something, Sabine turns back from the open window to look at her.)

"You really have a one-tracked mind, don't you?" Alya snickered. Marinette blushed and hung her head.

That is, until she realized what was going to happen next, which made her head snap up in realization.

Cai realized the same thing and squealed. "Here it comes!" In response, she got some questioning and slightly terrified looks. She shrugged. "What? I'm excited."

Sabine: What's that you said?

Marinette: (Since she wasn't expecting her mother to reply, her eyes widen more than they already are and she sits up straight, quickly turning in her seat to face her mother, placing her hand on the counter for balance.) Um, I can't wait to get back to school this afternoon. (She then giggled with a quick smile.)

(Her mother chuckles along, bringing a hand to her mouth to hide her smile. However, trouble is brewing. Behind Sabine, a large purple bubble enters the window and in an instant, snatches her right up and begins to float away. Marinette gasps at the sight in front of her as her mother screams in fright, quickly running forward in hopes of saving her. No such luck)

Marinette: Mom! MOM! (As she leans out the window, she sees her father struggling in a green bubble, just like her mother.) Dad? DAD!

(A small red creature floats up next to Marinette's shoulder, watching the chaos as Marinette stares up at the sky in shock and maybe terror.)

"It is…" Adrien whispers, his eyes widening. He looks over at Marinette, who is now hiding behind her hands. "My…" he begins to whisper to her, only to be cut off by Alya.

"Marinette, what is that?" Alya asks her. Marinette groaned in reply.

"I'm sorry, Tikki," Marinette whispered to the red kwami who poked her head out of the small purse.

"It's alright, Marinette. Nothing can be helped now," the small god said in return, placing a comforting hand on Marinette's arm.

Tikki: Your parents! Hawk Moth must've released another akuma. (Marinette looks over at her with a small pout in place, then she looked back at the sky as she replied)

Marinette: I've got to find his newest villain ASAP.

"Why do you have to do it?" Alya asked, affronted. "After all the times you tried to-" Alya cut herself off as she watched the screen as it turned bright pink, her eyes widening.

Marinette groaned and slouched in the bean bag chair, wishing to disappear.

Transformation Sequence:

Marinette: Tikki, spots on!

(Her earrings gain five spots exactly and blink as the transformation begins. Her hands went over her eyes, leaving behind a spotted mask in place and she spun, her suit covering her entire body. Another flash of light revealed her yo-yo at her waist and finally:

Marinette turned into Ladybug, Super Heroine of Paris)

"YES! Finally!" Cai cheered, hopping to her feet. She continued to celebrate the newly released secret as everyone began to freak out.

"Marinette is Ladybug!", "How is Marinette Ladybug!", "Ladybug is in our class", or some variation filled the small theater room as Marinette tried to hide behind her hands. Everyone was on their feet and looking at Marinette with wide eyes and gaping mouths.

"How is she Ladybug? If she's Ladybug, then I can totally be a better one!" Chloé scoffed. Marinette's eyes narrowed, but before she could say anything, Alya took her attention.

"And you didn't tell me after all this time? Why?" she asked. Her hurt was clear in her voice and it struck Marinette to the core.

"Because it wouldn't have been safe for any of us to know." The answer didn't come from Marinette. Instead, it came from Adrien, who had placed his hand on her shoulder comfortingly. "Secret identities are a big thing, or do you not remember that from any of the superhero comics you've read?" he asked rhetorically.

Alya blinked and sat down, but not before nodding and giving Marinette a smile that showed that she understood.

Marinette looked over at Adrien with big eyes, which almost popped out of her head when she saw the smile on his face widen.

"Next is Chat's turn," Cai cackled evilly as she sat back down, watching the screen gleefully.

Adrien heard what she said and instantly, fear began to claim his expression, which he hid by turning back to the screen.

However, Marinette had watched his reaction and raised an eyebrow at the sudden change of expression. Then again, she already had a pretty good feeling on why he was suddenly stiff.

(The scene cuts to Bubbler, who is standing on a roof top. Bubbles continue to rise to the sky above him.)

Bubbler: And now, party time!

(It cuts back to Ladybug running out of the bakery, where a little girl and boy are standing next to an older boy, crying. As she looks up, purple bubbles fill the sky and act as a sort of transmitter to broadcast Bubbler's message to all the now-parentless children.)

Bubbler: Today is your lucky day, little dudes! The adults have taken the day off, so make the most of it. No chores, no homework, no more nagging, just fun, fun, fun. This is the Bubbler's gift to you!

"You sounded more like clown than usual," Chloé taunted.

"I must have picked it up from you," Nino stated, without missing a beat.

"BURN!" Kim yelled, jumping to his feet to high-five the DJ in the front row.

"I must admit, that was pretty good, Nino," Alya praised. Nino quickly turned away to hide the blush that filled his face before Alya could see.

Ladybug: (She turns to the kids standing next to her and kneels down to talk to them, in order to calm them down and reassure them.) Don't worry, your parents will come back. I'll see to it. (She then turns to the teenager that was standing with the two little ones.) You take care of them in the meantime. (Without waiting for a reply, she runs off, using her yo-yo to send herself into the air.)

The Kids and the Teen: Yay! Go Ladybug!

Scene: Agreste Mansion

(The scene changes back to the dining room, where Adrien is once again eating by himself at the large and empty dining table. After finishing his drink and patting at his mouth with his napkin, Adrien stands from the table, finished with his lunch.)

Adrien: (In a sarcastic voice, he mutters to himself, since that is all he can do when he is by himself with no one to talk to) Wow. That was a birthday lunch break to remember. Yay. (As he speaks, he sarcastically pumps his fist into the air, to emphasize just how amazing his lonely and most likely boring lunch was.)

"You poor thing!" Mylene said, frowning deeply at the screen.

"That settles it. That party is so happening," Kim stated with a nod. Alix was next to him, nodding as well.

"Guys, really, it's fine," Adrien said. However, when he looked back at them, he realized that there was nothing that he could say to make them change their minds. And looking at the rest of the class, he could see that they all agreed.

He then felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to look at Marinette, who was smiling gently. "They all want to do this for you. Not because they feel sorry, but because we are all your friends," she murmured to him.

Adrien blushed brightly and turned back to the front, nodding. "Okay," he muttered, placing his hand on hers and squeezing gently.

(Adrien then walks into the foyer, his bag on his shoulder. He stops for a moment and raises his head.

Adrien: Nathalie? Father? (When there is no reply from either, he shrugs sadly and turns to the front door to walk back outside to return to school. However, he is stopped by a crowd of his classmates cheering, standing at his staircase.)

Classmates: Yay! Happy Birthday! Woo-hoo (And such variations)

(Adrien's attention is drawn from the surprise of seeing his class to the sky, where the Bubbler is standing on a floating purple bubble.)

Bubbler: Hey, hey, hey, birthday boy! Guess what? Daddy's gone. While the cat's away, the mice will play.

"Well, technically, the cat was still there," Adrien muttered. And despite being rather quiet, Marinette picked up on what he said and her eyes widened as it finally completely hit her. Adrien really is… Then what he said hit her ears.

"Really, Chat?" she muttered. Adrien stiffened and looked at her with wide eyes.

(Adrien looks up at the Bubbler with a contemplative expression, before realizing who the Bubbler actually was.)

Adrien: Nino?!

"So you recognized me right away? Dude, you really are my best friend!" Nino said, wrapping an arm around Adrien's shoulder with a large grin.

Adrien gave him a slightly forced smile and nodded. "Of course." He then looked away and whispered to himself, "But I wish I did something about you being akumatized sooner."

"What was that?" Nino asked, raising an eyebrow. Adrien blinked and gave him another smile.

"Nothing, nothing," Adrien brushed it off.

Bubbler: The Bubbler's brought all yo homies together for one single-sole purpose: to ce-le-brate!

(In response to Bubbler's statement, all the captured teens began to cheer once again. The Bubbler then flies down from his position in the sky to the DJ booth to start the music and get the party started.)

Bubbler: Let's get this party started!

(Once again, everybody cheers. On cue, Bubbler begins the music, which prompted people to start to dance. Adrien looked at the scene before him in surprise, then quietly slipped back into his mansion. He quickly goes through the mansion, all the way to his room. However, back outside, the Bubbler begins to show his true colors.)

Bubbler: Come on, everybody. I brought you here to party! (The camera moves all over the crowd, revealing the dancing students and their sad (and rather frightened) faces. Seeing their responses, the Bubbler's eyes narrowed) So dance or you'll join the adults up in the sky! (And with that, he laughed evilly as fireworks are shot into the sky.)

Adrien sighed again and slumped down to hide himself from what he knew was about to come.

(The camera changes back to Hawk Moth's lair.)

Hawk Moth: It won't be long before Ladybug and Chat Noir show up to meet their doom! (And much like Bubbler, he too begins to laugh evilly.)

"Actually, only Ladybug for the most part," Adrien sighed. Marinette looked over at the boy next to her with a raised eyebrow. He notices this, and sighs, whispering to her. "I'm sorry, My Lady."

Marinette frowned at the apology. "What do you mean?" No response.

Scene: Adrien's Room

(Adrien runs in and quickly closes the door behind him, leaning against it. He brings up his hand and looks at the silver ring that decorates his finger. The black kwami, Plagg, pops his head over Adrien's shoulder, almost like that red devil that sits on your shoulder to try to talk a person into doing what they shouldn't when faced with a dilemma.)

Plagg: What's your problem? Relax! You're getting the party you've always wanted!

Adrien: But Nino's been akumatized. I've gotta help him

"Why do you have to help him? And what is that on your shoulder?" Alya asked, leaning around Marinette to look at Adrien with a raised eyebrow.

He waved his hand, dismissing the question as the "thing" in question floated to rest on Adrien's shoulder again. The secret was almost out either way, so what was the point in hiding?

Plagg: You may never get this chance again! C'mon, let's have a little fun while your father's away Then we'll save Nino, trap his akuma, and all will be good.

(Adrien looked at Plagg, who really did look like a devil… Especially with those ears that looked like horns. He then looked away sadly, but contemplatively.)

Adrien: Okay, you're right. This might be the first day in my life that I actually get to do what I want for once.

"Wait, what?!" Tikki yelled as she floated out from Marinette's purse. She turned to the suddenly cowering black cat angrily. "Plagg, what did you go do that for!" Tikki yelled as she flew at the other.

"Wait, you have one too?" Alya asked as she stared at the red, floating bug-looking creature.

Marinette nodded as she gently cupped her hand around the angry Tikki and pulled her back from Adrien's kwami. "Yeah, that will be explained afterwards," Marinette said as she rubbed Tikki's head soothingly.

"I just wanted the kid to have a little fun is all," Plagg muttered. He didn't realize that his comment would bring Hurricane Ladybug-Bug.

"You!" Before Tikki could go after his fuzzy butt, Marinette brought her back to her side and patted her on the head gently.

Scene: Paris Rooftops

(Once the scene changes, it shows Ladybug performing her amazing flying feats, using her yo-yo. She is running to the fireworks, realizing that it is the most possible location of the current akuma.)

Ladybug: (She mutters to herself, since no one else is around her… Yeah, that's why) It's you and me, Bubbler.

(The scene cuts back to the courtyard on the Agreste mansion grounds, where a forced party is commencing. All the attendants are dancing, yet still appear to be depressed. Meanwhile, Adrien is clearly enjoying himself.)

Marinette frowned deeply. "Really?" she muttered.

"I'm sorry," Adrien mumbled, sighing softly as he sunk lower into his seat.

Her eyes widened at the response and she shook her head. "No, it's not that. It's just your dancing… It's so awkward," she giggled. Adrien raised an eyebrow at her and pouted.

"Now, that really hurts, My Lady," he whispered to her, making Marinette giggle once more.

Alya gasped in excitement as she watched the display. Her OTP is finally happening!

Adrien: Yeah! (Clearly pumped, Adrien dances amongst the party-goers, his arms in the air as he pumps his fist in excitement. He then moves over to the sad Rose, who is dancing, but not as happily as he is.) Hey, nice party, I guess. Since it's my first one.

(In response, she doesn't say anything, only gives him a thumbs up and turns back to her forced dancing. Adrien then looks around him, seeing the strange response, at everyone else. They are dancing, but with such grim expressions, it makes the party seem more like a funeral… Which it might become if the Bubbler isn't taken care of.)

(The camera then cuts over to Chloé and Sabrina, the former obviously giving orders to the red-head, as per usual. Chloé then motions Sabrina to move to the DJ booth, but the fear is obvious on the latter's face. But she goes anyway. After all, Chloé is worse than any akuma.)

Sabrina: I'm requesting a slow dance.

Bubbler: (He looks down at the teenager with a confused look at the request)

(Chloé then shoves Sabrina out of the way, annoyed that the request is taking so long. She then looks up at the Bubbler with an innocent smile, clasping her hands together and fluttering her eyelashes. Really, it just looks like she has a mascara covered eyelash in her eye.)

Chloé: It's for Adrien. His first slow dance. Mm?

Bubbler: (Recognition covers his face in a grin as he understood the strange request. With finger guns pointed at the blonde idiot- I mean, blonde pest, he responds excitedly) Oh, you know it, girl!

Adrien gasped and looked at Nino with a gaping mouth, face full of terror. "Nino, I thought you were my friend! How dare you!" he cried dramatically, trying desperately to hide the grin on his face.

"I was akumatized, what do you expect?" Nino laughed.

(Bubbler then changes the music from the face paced, to the slower music. Once everyone recognized the gentler tones, they immediately began to pair up. Now, they can be sad together… As well as awkward around each other. Adrien noticed the change as well, and the still upset expressions on their faces. He turned to Chloé as she walked up to him victoriously.)

Adrien: (He places his hand on his hip, looking around at everybody still.) Is it me, or does everyone seem a bit weird? (He gestures to the dancing participants.)

Chloé: Forget about them, let's go dance! C'mon! (She then drags Adrien into the middle of the dance floor and gets a bit too close for comfort, clearly shown by the expression on Adrien's face.)

(The camera moves up and away from the party to the balcony above them, where Ladybug lands. Her eyes lock in on the Bubbler as he changes out the record at the DJ stand. She then moves her gaze to the crowd and focuses in on Adrien and Chloé together. The camera zooms in closer to the unfortunate couple as Chloé raises her head to try to kiss him. Adrien moves back a little, obviously getting more uncomfortable with each second. When the camera goes back to our dear Ladybug, she looks horrified.)

"Dude, I am so sorry that happened to you," Nino chuckled. Adrien shuddered at the memory and might have scooted closer to Marinette. Might have… Maybe did… They're literally mere inches away from touching… Correction, mere inches from being in each other's lap.

Ladybug: (With a gasp, she goes from leaning on the railing to standing rim-rod straight) There is no way this is happening. (As the background turned the bubble gum pink of Pepto Bismol, Ladybug began her special power.) Lucky Charm! (With her yo-yo tossed into the air, a swirl of hearts surrounded her in a frenzy. The charm then dropped a circular object into her hands.) A record?

(She quickly looks around the surrounding area, hoping to find the hints that went along with the random item. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she went into her thinking vision. The camera quickly shows the Bubbler distracted by a case of records next to his stand. As she looks to the left, her vision turns grey and black, allowing her vision to lock onto the empty record placement on the mixer, the volume control, and a ledge far above the party.)

"So, that's how you come up with those plans," Adrien said with a sly look. Marinette rolled her eyes.

(Seeing her opportunity to break up the couple that should not be, Ladybug laughs to herself before sending her body into a whirl, therefore launching the record from her hand and to the ledge, where it bounces off, hitting the control button on the way down, where it ricochets into the empty slot. As the far more upbeat music begins to play, everybody breaks from their dance partner to go back to dancing by themselves. There were even some slightly happier cheers coming from the crowd. Adrien notices the change around them and quickly moves Chloé's arms away from his person and backs away into the crowd. Then, the Bubbler catches notice of the change in his DJ equipment.)

"Geez, Marinette, jealous?" Alix laughed as everybody else did.

Marinette turned away to hide her blushing, but offered no response.

Adrien chuckled and leaned over to her. "I really didn't like dancing with Chloé, so thank you, Marinette," he whispered. It didn't really help her situation; if anything, it made her blushing turn a whole lot brighter.

Bubbler: Dude! Who just hijacked my mix? (He looked around the partiers, hoping to catch the culprit and possibly send them to the sky. Number one rule of having a DJ: Do not touch their mix.)

Ladybug: (She smirked and flipped her hand in the air, with her other on her hip in the incredibly sassy manner she always has.) Yours truly. (Because she used Lucky Charm, her earrings beeped their alarm to warn her about the lack of time she has. There was only one spot left.) Huh? Better bug out before I change back to normal.

Adrien raised an eyebrow and turned to Marinette with a smirk. "Did you –" He was then cut off by Marinette's hand, which raised to stop him from saying another word.

"Don't you dare," she warned.

Alya and Nino raised an eyebrow at their model friend's strange interaction and words from the last couple of minutes. Adrien noticed and blushed, sitting back in his seat.

(Ladybug quickly makes her exit on stage left, as she jumped off the balcony of the mansion and down in front of the giant walls that surrounded the building.) Spots off! (As she crouched, her costume vanished in a flash of light and back into her normal clothes. Tikki flew out of her earrings and landed in her cupped hands to catch the tired kwami.)

Tikki: (She rubbed the back of her head and sat up in Marinette's hands, her eyes closed) Marinette!

Marinette: It was an emergency!

"Okay two things. One, I think you meant jealousy and two, does she help you with being Ladybug?" Alya asked, looking at Marinette from the corner of her eyes with a grin.

"I'm not going to dignify your question with an answer, but for your second one, yes," Marinette said as she looked down at the small red kwami. Who was presently giggling into a chocolate chip cookie. "And what's so funny, Tikki?" Marinette asked with a smile.

"You are," she replied as she floated up to cuddle with the girl's cheek.

"And why can't you be like her?" Adrien asked his own kwami with a frown.

"Because she's a Ladybug. She has to be sweet and cute," Plagg said with a shrug. "It could also be because she eats only sweet things. I have far better tastes," Plagg smirked. Adrien rolled his eyes.

Tikki: Yeah, if by emergency you mean jealousy. (She opened her eyes and looked up at her Chosen.) You know what happens once you use your Lucky Charm. You only have minutes before-

"Ha! She agrees with me," Alya cheered. Marinette rolled her eyes and rubbed the tip of her finger over the black spot on Tikki's head.

"You just had to say that, huh Tikki?" Marinette mumbled. Tikki giggled apologetically and rested on Marinette's shoulder, in order to get a better vantage point of the screen.

In the back, Cai smiled to herself.

Marinette: I turn back, I know. But I figured, the Bubbler, he's not going anywhere. We have time to get you some food to get your energy back up. Then we'll get right back out there, I promise. (Marinette quickly put her tired kwami into her purse that was slung across her body. She then snuck her way into the party, right to the snack table. She spotted a plate of cookies and grabbed a few for Tikki, quickly placing them in her purse for the sprite to munch on.) I've got to find a place where I can transform, fast.

"So that's what you were doing! And here I thought you were saving them for later," Alya hummed.

"She did save me one for after the fight," Marinette grinned. "It was generous of her. She doesn't really share her sweets often."

Adrien raised an eyebrow as Plagg nudged him. "See? At least I offer you some of my camembert out of the goodness of my heart," Plagg snickered. Adrien's eyebrow went higher.

"Since when did you have heart?" Adrien quipped back, scratching the cat behind his ears.

"Wait, Adrien, you have one of those things too, right? And it looks like a-" Nino cut off as his eyes widened. "Duuude!"

"Shush, Nino. You'll see it in a minute. Don't ruin it for everybody else," Adrien whispered to him. Nino's eyes stayed wide as he nodded quietly. Then his eyes narrowed slightly.

"And you let me stay an akuma to party, bro! Really!" Nino huffed. Adrien smiled sheepishly.

(Marinette gasped as she was taken by surprise as Alya came up behind her. She quickly closed the clasp on her purse and turned to face Alya.)

Alya: Where have you been, girl? I was so scared something had happened to you! (She opens her arms and hugs Marinette in relief.)

"Not that I needed to be," Alya said sarcastically, nudging Marinette's side.

Marinette: Me too!

Alya: I'm sure Ladybug and Chat Noir will show up in a minute to save us all. They never failed us. (They pull away from each other completely as Alya turns and gestures for Marinette to follow her with her hand.) Meanwhile, come with me. I've got something for you.

Marinette: (She stammered a bit and pointed to the side nervously) Uh, there's something I've got to do first.

Alya: (She turned back around with a grin) It's about Adrien.

Marinette: (She blinked and leaned her head back in defeat, drawing out her response in the same tone) Okay.

There was a laugh going through the watchers as they saw how easily she gave in.

"You need a hobby," Alya chuckled.

"I do have one," Marinette grinned. "Apparently it's obsessing over Adrien," she finished. The two girls laughed and Adrien smirked.

"You know, that's not a bad hobby to have," he smirked. Marinette blushed slightly, but rolled her eyes.

"Silly tomcat," she whispered playfully.

Tikki: (Her urgent voice brought Marinette's attention down to her at the teenager's waist. She popped out of the purse, waving a cookie around to emphasize her urgency.) Marinette! The Bubbler!

Marinette: (She raised her hands to placate the kwami) Okay, okay in a sec.

"It's not like you were finished eating anyway," Marinette grumbled. Tikki rolled her eyes.

(Marinette rushed forward to Alya in order to see what she had to show her. The camera then cuts to Nathalie's office, where the present was lying innocently on the table. The door opens to show Alya and Marinette peeking their heads in.)

Alya: Look! Now you can sign your gift.

Marinette: (She gasps happily, a large smile growing on her face) Ah, yes!

"Bestest friend ever!" Marinette hugged Alya tightly, which was returned happily.

(The scene cuts back to the party, showing Ivan standing against the wall, not dancing like the rest of them. As Ivan glares at nothing specific in front of him, the Bubbler notices his lack of movement and moves closer to confront the larger boy.)

Bubbler: Hey, you. Why aren't you having fun?

Ivan: None of your business.

Bubbler: Then I'm going to make it my business. (As he lets out a dark chuckle, Bubbler reaches behind him and draws his bubble sword from the bubble solution sheath on his back.)

(It cuts back to Nathalie's office, where Marinette is writing on a Post-It note.)

Marinette: "Love, Marinette." There! (She quickly pulls it from the stack and secures it to her present, giving the wrapped gift a quick kiss of luck… Or love, whichever is preferred.)

(The camera zooms in on the purse, where Tikki pops her head out again.)

Tikki: Right, we're good. Spots on, Marinette.

Marinette: (She looks down at Tikki as she places the present back on the desk.) I can't do it now. Alya's here.

Alya: (Her voice is muffled by the door, most likely acting as a scout for anybody coming along) What'd you say? (She looks back into the office, at Marinette.)

Marinette: Go ahead! I'll meet you in the yard. (At Marinette's prompting, Alya retreats back outside. Once she was gone, Marinette breathes a deep sigh of relief that she managed to keep Alya in the dark for another moment.)

"Oh, c'mon! I was right there! How did I not notice that you didn't come outside!" Alya cried in frustration, which made Marinette giggle.

(The camera turns so that the window is in full view behind Marinette. And through that window, Ivan is seen in a green bubble, being carried away to outer space. Hearing the muffled yells from her classmate, Marinette turned around and shrieked.)

Marinette: NO! You were right, Tikki, I never should've waited this long! (She grasps her hair in frustration at her own idiot acts.)

(The scene cuts back to the yard, where Adrien is standing on the stage with a mic. The Bubbler stands behind him.)

Adrien: Hey, Paris, how you doing? (He raises the mic into the air in his excitement, but clearly, nobody shared his enthusiasm. When the Bubbler noticed this, he begins to pull out the bubble sword of doom. This very kind prompting made the crowd cheer in their own, obviously not fake, excitement. Satisfied, Adrien jumps from the stage.)

Marinette groaned and rubbed at her face with her hands. "I am in love with a dork," she mumbled. Adrien rolled his eyes.

"It was my first party, ever," Adrien grumbled. "Let it go. At least, even when Nino is an akuma, he's still supportive of what I do," he continued, grinning.

"He was an akuma who wanted to party, of course he's going to make them cheer," Marinette quipped back as she knocked him with her shoulder playfully.

(Ladybug once again makes her appearance on the balcony, only this time she is standing on the rail and in full view. And because she is in full view, everybody's attention is drawn to her. Adrien's especially, if his hanging mouth is anything to talk about.)

Adrien: Ladybug?

(Springing into action, Ladybug rears back and launches her yo-yo straight onto the power strip. The impact caused everything to become unplugged, which cut off all the music and the lights. Her yo-yo is then retracted.)

Ladybug: Sorry, Bubbler, but the party is over.

"So, My Lady, don't like puns hm?" Adrien whispered to her.

"I've been hanging around an alley cat far too much," Marinette groaned, which made Adrien grin brightly. "That wasn't a compliment," she muttered.

"But I am making it one," he replied happily. If his tail was out, it would have been waving a mile a minute.

(The screen then cuts to the Bubbler, who is looking put off and quite annoyed at the appearance of the hero.)

Bubbler: Why you gotta be like that?

(Cut back to Ladybug)

Ladybug: You made all the adults disappear, that's why! And now you're imprisoning anyone who isn't having fun!

(As she finishes her statement, the camera cuts to the crowd to show Adrien against the stage, where Chloé was trying to cuddle up to him. Making a quick decision, he brushes off Chloé's hands and runs through the crowd, back into the mansion, unseen. The screen then changes back to the Bubbler.)

Bubbler: You will not bust up my party!

(He then withdraws his bubble sword, swinging it so that two red bubbles go flying towards Ladybug. In defense, she spins her yo-yo to create a shield, which breaks up the bubbles. The crowd begins to scatter and run for cover, realizing that a fight is about to break out between superhero and supervillain. The scene then cuts to Adrien, once more, as he runs into his room and shuts the door behind him. He holds open the side of his overshirt so that Plagg can fly out.)

Adrien: I think I've been a complete idiot.

Transformation Sequence:

Adrien: Plagg, claws out!

(Plagg is quickly sucked into his ring, which gains a glowing green cat paw with five pads, and with a flick of his fingers, his black mask with cat eyes appears over his face. Running his hands through his hair, the cat ears are pinned to his now messy hair. And thus, his entire body is covered with the leather of his cat suit and the belt flails behind him as it becomes a tail. With some final swipes, finally:

Adrien turned into Chat Noir, Super Hero of Paris)

"FINALLY! IT IS FINALLY DONE!" Cai squealed as she once again jumped to her feet and hopped around excitedly. "THEY ARE NO LONGER IGNORANT TO EACH OTHER'S IDENTITY!" she continued to squeal.

"You're Chat Noir, Adrien?" Alya asked, her mouth gaping open. "Are there any more super heroes in our class that I need to know about!" she yelled in frustration.

Adrien shrugged. "Not that I know of." Alya facepalmed.

"There is no way that my Adrikins is that mangy cat!" Chloé wailed in protest.

"Do NOT call my kitty mangy!" Marinette growled as she got to her feet to face the mayor's daughter. "If anyone is mangy here, it's you and that raggedy hair you call a ponytail!" she continued. Adrien's mouth fell open as his Lady came to his defense.

"Who are you calling raggedy!" Chloé snarled as she too got to her feet. They were nose to nose at this point.

"Did I stutter?" Marinette smirked. Chloé screeched in anger and was about to slap Marinette, her hand raised. Honestly, does hitting a superhero sound like a good idea to anyone? Chloé's hand was pulled back by another decorated in black and purple nail polish. With an indigenous gasp, Chloé faced the one who dared to touch her, only to grimace.

Cai's lips were pulled back in a snarl. "Do you really think that is a good idea?" she snarled quietly. "Check that attitude of yours, or else." And with that, Cai let her wrist go and Chloé sat down with a small huff, but didn't say anything in reply. Cai then turned to Marinette and gave her a wink as she mouthed the words, 'good job.'

As Marinette sat back down, appeased, Adrien leaned over to her. "You call me mangy all the time, My Lady," he whispered.

She grinned. "Yes, but I do it out of love… And because I'm the only one allowed to say it," she chuckled. Adrien rolled his eyes, but couldn't help the smile that graced his face.

Then he stopped. Wait… Love?!

(The camera then cut back to Ladybug as she continued to fight The Bubbler. When she threw her yo-yo in offense, it bounced off one of the many bubbles that were being sent out by the bubble wand – sword – thing. As it came back her way, Chat Noir finally made his appearance, staff at the ready and batting the yo-yo out of the way, landing in front of Ladybug with a spin of his staff.)

Chat Noir: Looks like I made it just in time.

Ladybug: I had it under control, (As she stepped back, her hand opened up as the yo-yo came back down… Right onto Chat's head, which then bounced into her hand.) but thanks.

"You know that really hurt," Adrien pouted. Marinette chuckled to herself.

"Sorry, Chaton… Oh wait… No, I'm not," she laughed, which made Adrien pout even more.

"Does she do that all the time?" Max asked.

"Most of it," Adrien shrugged.

(As the scene cut back to Bubbler, the pink butterfly outline is made. The scene then fades to Hawk Moth's lair comes back to view, speaking to the Bubbler through the connection.)

Hawk Moth: Get the Miraculouses. I want those powers, NOW!

(Going back to the fight scene, the Bubbler quickly follows through, swinging his bubble sword to send a stream of bubbles to the two heroes. Seeing the attack, Ladybug and Chat Noir both perform acrobatics to avoid being hit.)

"You two really do work well together," Rose cooed. Adrien and Marinette met gazes and blushed.

"Yeah, we do," they said simultaneously.

Everybody smiled at their joined responses… Well, everybody but the two pests in the back.

(However, despite these amazing moves, all the Bubbler had to do was snap his fingers and those red bubbles of peril turned to a swirling vortex of green bubbles of death. The bubbles then began to stick to their bodies and soon enough, they were stuck in their own private bubble. As the Bubbler laughs, Ladybug desperately pounds on the hard surface.)

Bubbler: (He held out his hand.) Give me your Miraculouses before you run out of air.

Ladybug: Dream on, Bubbler!

"You tell him, Ladybug!" Alix cheered. Beside her, Nathanaël winced at the sudden loud sound, directly in his ear. The tomato has been so quiet and caught in his crush being the super hero.

Bubbler: Total party poopers, just like adults.

Ladybug: Kids need adults.

(The camera zoomed out to show the entire courtyard, including where all the students decided to hide from the fight… Yeah… Cause hiding behind an open rail is a good idea. The angle also allowed the sight of the Bubbler gesturing wildly with his sword.)

Bubbler: False! Kids need freedom, fun, let loose, and live it up! Adults are controlling and bossy.

"Uh, yeah, they're adults," Kim shrugged.

Ladybug: But adults keep children safe and protected. They care for their kids, they love them!

Chat Noir: (He looked away and muttered to himself) Most adults do anyhow.

"You poor thing! I'm sure your dad loves you! He's just really strict to keep you safe," Mylene tried to say in order to placate the sudden cloud of depression that formed metaphorically over her classmate's head.

Adrien sighed. "I doubt it." Then he felt a slim, yet strong arm slide around his shoulder and tug him into a soft and warm body. A large blush erupted on his face as he looked up at the sudden cuddler. Marinette… She didn't say anything, just squeezed his shoulder. But it made him smile as he purred quietly, as the cat that he is.

Unseen by both of them, but seen by the rest of the class, Alya pulled out her phone and took a picture of the two. Phones may not work to communicate their discoveries, but they do work to capture the progress of the two favorite lovebirds.

Cai smirked and squealed to herself.

Chat Noir: (He raised his head to look at the Bubbler and spoke louder so that he could be heard this time) You must bring the adults back!

Bubbler: (He rested his sword on his shoulder and waved his hand dismissively) Nope, never. Know what, since you care so much about these adults, why don't you go float with them for a while?

(With a burst of speed, he ran towards the captured heroes. Seeing the villain coming towards them, Ladybug and Chat Noir screamed out, and once close enough, the Bubbler sent a powerful kick that sent the green bubble straight into the sky. As the bubble leaves the ground, the two heroes scream at their sudden motion as the teenagers on the ground gasp at the sight.)

"Oh c'mon!" Kim groaned. "Why can't you do that during gym class, Nino?" He looked down at the DJ, who shrugged with a grin.

"I'd rather not be an akuma, so pass," Nino replied.

(We cut back to Hawk Moth's layer for this special announcement. Hawk Moth is angered due to the lack of Miraculouses.)

Hawk Moth: What do you think you're doing, Bubbler? You're supposed to seize their Miraculouses!

(Now going back to our regularly schedule hero program, we cut back to our two heroes, who are desperately trying to escape their bubble of doom as they continue to float further from the ground. Chat kicks at the bubble as the two lie together in their very tight space.)

"Oh yes! LadyNoir is canon!" Alya cheered, making Marinette and Adrien look at her in confusion.

"What the heck is LadyNoir?" Adrien asked. He had to admit, it had a ring to it.

"The OTP name for Ladybug and Chat Noir, duh!" Alya said, as though it were common knowledge to the two heroes. "Don't you read my blog?" she asked them with a raised eyebrow.

"I've never heard of that before," Marinette mumbled.

"Hey, Cai, have you heard of LadyNoir?" Alya asked, to prove a point that it was indeed popular, as she turned to face the girl who brought them here.

Cai nodded and smiled. "Definitely. I ship them too, which is why this is being done. Back home, we also have Adrienette," Alya interrupted with a cheer, but Cai pressed on, "then Ladrien, and my personal favorite of the bunch, Marichat," she finished with a grin.

"What's Marichat?" Alya asked. Cai blinked and grinned with a grin of sin.

"Marinette and Chat Noir, duh," she snickered. "It's supposed to be the more… Sinful one of them all."

"WHAT!" Marinette yelped as Adrien blushed brightly.

"It's not like it's not unheard of. In any of these ways, Marinette and Adrien are together, so I'm happy," Cai said with a shrug, ignoring Marinette's burning face.

Silently, they all turned back to the screen, with Alya squealing to herself and dancing in her seat.

Ladybug: (She suddenly sat up in excitement as an idea hit her) Use your Cataclysm!

Chat Noir: (He gave her a look) Couldn't you have said that five hundred feet ago?

"He's got a point," Max once again pointed out.

"He's got no point!" Marinette huffed as she covered Adrien's mouth with her hand to keep him from giving her a comeback, pouting.

Adrien grinned and kissed her hand, which made Marinette squeak and blush brightly, bringing her hand back and holding it to her chest.

Ladybug: We can't stay stuck in this bubble together forever. (And in response, Chat Noir blinks, then holds his chin in what is supposed to be a sexy manner, giving her a charming smirk… Only for Ladybug to groan and facepalm)

"Wait, wait… So Chat Noir flirts with Ladybug, who is Marinette, but Chat Noir is Adrien, so really, it's Adrien flirting with Marinette. But Marinette has a giant crush on Adrien, so she doesn't like Chat's flirting in order to stay loyal to Adrien, who is Chat," Alya explained as she tried to make sense of the love square.

"Yeah pretty much," Cai said with a frustrated sigh.

Alya stood from her seat and briskly walked to where Cai was sitting in the back… And grabbed the other girl in a tight hug. "I see why you're so frustrated now! How have you not killed either of them for their denseness!" Alya questioned as she smoothed the hair on Cai's head like a child.

Cai blinked and squirmed slightly, a little uncomfortable with the sudden display. "I have no clue really. But it frustrates all of the fandom back home," Cai sighed.

With a final nod of understanding, Alya went back to sit in her seat, not looking at either of her friends, who are glaring at her.

"We are not dense!" Adrien grumbled.

"Yes, yes you are." That came from everybody, even Chloé and Sabrina.

Chat Noir: CATACLYSM! (And with the call, Chat raises his paw in the air, allowing black bubbles of destruction to form in his claws, and once it begins, Chat presses his hand against the bubble and destroys it… But sadly, our heroes can't fly, so they instead plummet to the earth.)

Ladybug: Should we see if you land on your feet this time?

Chat Noir: No, thanks!

Ladybug: (She looks to the side and sees the Eiffel Tower) Your stick, there! (She pointed to the tower)

Chat Noir: Got it! (He quickly grabs his staff from the back of his belt and throws it so that it gets lodged in the tower.)

Ladybug: (Ladybug grabs his hand) Hang on! (She then throws her yo-yo, which acts as a grappling hook as it wraps around the cat's staff, which allows the two to swing to the ground safely. They roll a bit, due to the momentum, but land on their feet.)

"So it is true. Cats do land on their feet," Marinette teased, nudging Adrien playfully.

"But this cat will sweep you off yours," Adrien purred as he nuzzled Marinette's cheek playfully. He then felt her skin heat up as she blushed again.

Chat Noir: (He places his hands on his hips) Good thing cats aren't afraid of heights.

Ladybug: (She tossed him his baton, which he catches with his cat-like reflexes) We've got to get his bubble sword, that's got to be where the akuma is.

(A shrill beeping fills the air from Chat's ring. When he looks down, he sees a pad disappear.)

Chat Noir: Better hurry.

(They both run back to where the Bubbler is.)

Scene: Outside Agreste Mansion

(The Bubbler stands so that he is facing the hiding, unwilling party participants. He is trying to get the party started once again, but no one wants to party with a villain.)

Bubbler: Where is everybody? Get out here and party!

Ladybug: (She draws his attention away from the captives as she and Chat Noir appear on top of the gate) Sorry to burst your bubble.

"So when you do puns, it's fine?" Adrien asked. Marinette grumbled.

"I have been surrounded by too many punners…" She pouted.

"That's not even a word," Max cut in. But stopped and sat back when Marinette looked at him.

Alya: (she stands and begins to cheer from the hiding crowd) Ladybug! (Following her lead, the other teenagers begin to cheer happily as well.)

Ladybug: No one wants to party with you anymore, Bubbler.

"We didn't want to in the first place. It was a bad party with an even worse DJ," Chloé scoffed, making Nino bristle.

"Says she who dangled Chat Noir off her father's building," Marinette muttered. Adrien stiffened at the memory and shuddered.

Bubbler: What's wrong with all you guys?! Why you gotta be such haters?! (In his anger and annoyance, Bubbler decides to take out his bubble sword and swings it, sending out his green bubbles of imprisonment to capture all the teenagers in attendance)

Ladybug and Chat Noir: NOOO! (They watch as their classmates and Bubbler's hostages are sent to the sky, just like the adults were.)

Bubbler: Outer space is the next stop or your precious peeps, and they're never coming back! (And with that, the Bubbler exits stage left and jumps from roof to roof to get away from the pursuing heroes.)

(The chase takes them to the Eiffel Tower. As Ladybug and Chat Noir continue their pursuit up the tower, Bubbler sends various red, explosive bubbles at them, in hopes of either slowing them down or ending them. However, in their climb, the two effortlessly avoid becoming potential shrapnel. Chat's ring beeps again and looking at it, it shows that he is going to transform back soon.)

Chat Noir: I'm gonna switch back soon, hurry!

Ladybug: Lucky Charm! (With her yo-yo tossed into the air, a swirl of hearts surrounded her in a frenzy. The charm then dropped a wrench into her hands, which was rather large.)

Chat Noir: Your… Plumbing skill is gonna help us out?

"They did though," Marinette boasted.

"Does that just give you random objects?" Max asked.

"Pretty much… Seem to work though," Marinette grinned at Tikki who giggled in response.

(Ladybug shrugged in response, also unclear on what she is supposed to do, but used to the randomness of her Lucky Charm. The Bubbler interrupted their interaction by sending more explosives to the two, well more specifically, Chat. The cat quickly dodges them, jumping to a beam.)

Chat Noir: Could use a little work! Is that all you got?

(Ladybug quickly looked around to figure out what she was meant to do. The area around her turned grey as she entered her thinking vision, flashing the vent, the pipe connecting to the vent, and the screw around the pipe that is connecting the two together. The wrench in her hands also flashes, which leads Ladybug to forming a plan.)

Ladybug: Got it! (She quickly runs forward to unscrew the pipe, as her faithful kitten dodges the bubbles of death. With the screw loosened, the pipe becomes loose and completely off. Now that it is free, the pipe flies around sporadically and wildly, sending dense clouds out, and directly right in front of Chat.) Chat Noir, cover me!

Chat Noir: (He grabs the pipe by launching from his beam, ending up crouching with the pipe pointed towards the front) Go on!

(The Bubbler sends out more bubbles, hoping to get his now still target. However, they are deflected by the air flow coming from the pipe. Seeing his attack deflected, the Bubbler raises his arm and blade for another attack… Which he would have made, had Ladybug not sent her yo-yo flying and wrap it around the sword to bring it back straight into her hands. Wasting no time, Ladybug brings the sword down on her knee to break it in half and throwing the sword to the ground.)

Ladybug: (The akuma flies out of its broken vessel, flapping away in order to fly from the site) Get out of there, you nasty bug. No more evil-doing for you, little akuma. (She opens her yo-yo with a swipe of her finger, allowing the two sides to open like a ladybug's wing, the middle glowing a pinkish white. She then drops her yo-yo, allowing it to swing freely, bringing it back and twirling it quickly, setting herself to aim at the akuma) Time to de-evilize! (And with that, she launched the grappling hook-like yo-yo at the akuma, catching it in the glowing area, which then closed up again to begin purifying it. When it came back to her, Ladybug clutched the yo-yo tightly.) Gotcha! (with a quick tap, the sides open up again and releases the newly white butterfly, which flutters away.) Bye-bye, little butterfly. (She grabbed the wrench and tossed it into the air) MIRACULOUS LADYBUG! (And with that, the Lucky Charm item exploded into millions of ladybugs, which flew around to clean up and reverse all the damage the Bubbler had brought, including bringing all the captives back.)

(The Bubbler falls to his knees in defeat and groans as the black and purple taint leaves him, leaving him to be Nino once more, who sits up and looks around in confusion.)

Nino: Who? Dude… (He scratched the back of his head in confusion.)

Ladybug and Chat Noir: (They look to each other and bump each other's fist in their traditional celebration) Pound it!

Meanwhile, as they watched, Marinette and Adrien followed in synch and bumped their fists together. "Pound it!" they called out, in time with themselves on the screen.

And with that act of absolute adorableness, the entire room cheered at another job well done between Ladybug and Chat Noir.

(The screen cuts back to Hawk Moth's lair and the man himself, who is angered at losing the chance of having the Miraculouses… Again.)

Hawk Moth: You can't run forever, Ladybug, and when I catch you, I will crush you! I will DESTROY YOU BOTH!

(The window that connects his lair to the outside world closes, leaving the entire room basked in the darkness of his defeat.)

"Wow, really feeling the love," Adrien laughed sarcastically.

"He'll win… in a never million years," Marinette smirked, folding her arms confidently.

Adrien chuckled and wrapped his arm around Marinette's shoulder, giving her a side hug. "Obviously; who is ever going to beat My Lady?"

Marinette smirked up at him. "With her kitten by her side, she will win no matter what," Marinette replied. "She needs her partner."

Adrien blushed brightly and smiled, hugging her tighter.

Alya's, Juleka's, Rose's, and Mylene's squeals went unheard.

Scene: Nathalie's Office

(As Nathalie worked diligently on her computer, she was distracted by the sudden noise of Gabriel Agreste's voice over the intercom, which made her turn to give him her full attention.)

Gabriel: Nathalie? Did my son like his gift?

Nathalie: (She pushed from her computer to look directly at Mr. Agreste, to answer him) Uh, actually, I was going to check right away, sir.

Gabriel: Good. (He disconnected the call, the screen turning black)

(Nathalie grabbed at her face, much like the Scream, as she despaired and panicked, looking around. Her eyes landed on the purple-wrapped gift on her desk and grabbed it quickly. She sighed in relief and grabbed the note attached to it, stating Marinette's name, throwing it in the trash without a second thought. The scene changes back to the empty and large dining room, where Adrien is eating by himself, once again. Nathalie quickly runs to the door, then catches and composes herself to appear calm and collected as she walked up to Adrien.)

Nathalie: A birthday present, from your father. (She presented the gift to him)

Adrien: (He looked up at her, then looked at the present in surprise, which was clear on his face as he gingerly took the gift in his hands. As Nathalie turns away, he speaks) Thank you. I mean, please say thank you to my father for me. (To which, she nods and leaves as Adrien gazes at the gift in his hands happily.)

"I should have said say thank you to Marinette," Adrien growled quietly. His eyes were narrowed and his shoulders were tense. However, when he turned to look at Marinette, he softened. "Why didn't you tell me? I mean… It must have hurt when I praised my father for your work," he said softly.

Marinette smiled and waved away his question, knowing the answer would come up, if she remembered correctly.

Scene: Outside the school

(Sadly, we get a close up of Chloé's face.)

Chloé: (She is obviously angry, if her screaming at Sabrina had anything to say about it) What do you mean not for a week?

(Marinette and Alya arrive to witness the abuse, gaping horrified as Chloé berated her supposedly best friend.)

Sabrina: (She cowers in on herself, trying to hide behind her phone… Like that would save her from the big bad Queen Bee) There were no adults yesterday to deliver it.

Chloé: (And like the child she is, she stomped her foot in her tantrum) So what? Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous! (She storms her way into the building, with Sabrina on her heels.)

"Serves her right. Treating her best friend like a slave, and getting a present as an afterthought, not even getting it herself," Alya grumbled. Marinette nodded.

"The only ridiculous thing is her attitude," Marinette huffed.

Chloé glared down at the two girls, not even dignifying them with a response. She only huffed and looked at her ragged- I mean, perfect nails.

Alya: Ha ha! Serves Chloé right!

(Marinette and Alya's attention from their short-lived conversation was taken by Adrien's arrival)

Adrien: Hey girls! (He got out of the limo that brought him to school, shutting the door behind him. Around his neck was a bright, new, sky-blue scarf.)

Marinette: (She gripped Alya's arm in excitement) Hey, that's my scarf! He's wearing my scarf!

Adrien: (He walked up and greeted Nino with a fist bump) Hey, dude.

Alya: Yo, nice scarf, Adrien! Off the chain. (As she spoke, Marinette waved shyly.)

Adrien: (He looked down at the scarf around his neck, touching it gently) Yeah, can you believe my dad got this for me? (He doesn't notice the surprised look on Marinette's face as he spoke) It's so awesome! He's been getting me the same lame pen for three years in a row.

"Well, now I know why," Adrien grumbled.

Nino: Wow, I guess anyone can change. Adults can be cool when you least expect it.

Adrien: (He suddenly becomes a bit sadder, looking away) Speaking of adults, I know my father said you were a bad influence, but –

Nino: (He quickly cut him off with a hand to his shoulder) We're good, Adrien, (With that, he led the other boy up the school stairs with an arm around his shoulder) don't sweat it. We're buds. Always and forever.

"Thanks, man," Adrien smiled gratefully. Nino chuckled and punched his shoulder teasingly.

(Cutting back to Alya and Marinette, Alya turned to Marinette, who was standing, looking after the two uncertainly.)

Alya: You gotta tell him you were the one who knitted the scarf.

Marinette: (She looked back over to where Adrien and Nino were, looking after them) But he seems so happy about his dad. I don't want to spoil it for him.

Alya: Aw, Marinette. (She brings Marinette into a hug, which is returned happily) You're amazing, girl. You know that, right? And someday Adrien will figure it out too. Promise.

(And with that, the bell rings, signaling the start of school. All the students walk into the building, ending the episode.)

Adrien stared up at the screen thoughtfully.

"A heart full of gold," Alya sighed as she hugged Marinette tightly again. Marinette giggled and blushed softly. Then she was brought into another set of arms, ones that were even tighter than Alya's.

"She's right. You really are amazing," Adrien whispered as he placed his face on her shoulder. "Thank you, so much," he murmured. He was shaking, which led Marinette to wrapping her arms around him as well.

"I haven't done anything," she murmured. Adrien scoffed, but kept his head down.

"You've done more than enough, My Lady. So thank you… For everything," he kissed the corner of her lips, not sure how far to take it. Marinette blushed, but smiled and turned her head, catching his lips with hers.

"You're welcome then."

Cai then walked up to the front to stand in front of the screen once again. "Alright, alright. Enough you two. You still have about twenty-five more episodes to go. But I will take my leave, now that you two know about each other. I will leave the remote with Alya," Cai handed said girl the remote that controlled the screen.

"And so, I bid you all, goodbye." And with a flash of light, Cai disappeared. In her place, was a note. Marinette reached up to read it out loud.

"P.S. Don't try to leave this room until all the episodes have been watched. There is only one way out and that is to finish this first season. The second hasn't come out yet, so don't worry about it… But I'm serious, especially to you Ladybug and Chat Noir. Have fun! XOXO Cai," Marinette read and pouted. Dammit.

"I guess we don't have a choice," Adrien sighed, reading over her shoulder. Then again… With a smile, he brought Marinette closer and cuddled into her. "I guess we'll just have to suffer," he sighed dramatically.

Marinette rolled her eyes, but combed her fingers through his soft, blond hair. "You're enjoying this way too much, Kitty." Adrien smiled innocently.

There was another flash, a note appearing again. Alya was the one to grab it this time. "P.S.S. I just realized, there is somebody missing isn't there? I guess I didn't notice Lila wasn't amongst you… Oh well, she can be the odd one out, I don't like her much… Almost as much as Chloé. Again, have fun!" Alya blinked. "I didn't even notice that Lila wasn't here. Isn't she on vacation with her dad?"

Marinette nodded as she scratched Adrien behind where his ears would be, which made him erupt into purrs.

"Let's start the next episode! Are we going in order or what?" Alix asked, pumped up to see her classmates perform more stunts.

"I don't think we have to," Alya hummed.

"Let's make this interesting then! Choose a random episode," Kim cheered. Everybody nodded in agreement.

"Let's watch… Oh, this one! Mr. Pigeon," Alya read. Marinette bit her lip to keep from laughing, as did Adrien.

Before she could start the episode, there was yet another flash, but this time, a table full of snacks and drinks was placed at the side of the room. A note read, In case you get hungry. And yes, there are cookies and plenty of camembert for the kwamis.

"Cool, now… Mr. Pigeon time!" Alya cheered as she pressed play.

Holy Mother of… This took FOREVER! 39 pages and over 17,200 words! Are you kidding me! I'm not kidding, I was on page fifteen and only five minutes into the whole episode. Jesus!
