Summary: What if Harry died that day instead of Cedric? What if he became a shinigami and was thrown back in time? What if, when he reaches his own time again, he collects the three hallows? Dear Gods, help them all.

Plot: In the third task Harry Potter dies instead of Cedric Diggory. He is then given the chance to become something called a shinigami and takes it. Thrown a thousand years into the past, he becomes one of the best before he leaves. Now, back in his own time, he goes on a self-given mission to collect the three hallows in hopes of hiding them from the power-hungry humans. Only problem is, every time he hides them they come back to him. What's a happy-go-lucky-slightly-deranged shinigami to do?

(Hedwig is still alive so he collects her as well as everything else he owned. He also goes to Gringotts and has his accounts settled.)
