A/N: sO...just less than 3 months :D howdy? How are you all? Been taking care of yourselves? I really hope so. Starting A levels has been an EXPERIENCE. Really fun but got is it hard and busy. We get so much work T-T its crazy but I am trying my best.
Since I'm currently in a free I wanna write this for you guys! I will always feel bad for taking so long to update but :( I just get so busy and I hate it so much. But anyway~ lets commence with the next chapter!

Natsu would happily admit he was having the time of his life. Little Lucy had latched onto him, taking his hand as he lead her around Magnolia as squealing in excitement. He took her around the markets, watching her reactions fondly. Her eyes sparkling whenever she saw something pretty, the confused crinkling of her nose when she wasn't sure what she was looking at and that bright bright smile she would give him again and again.
Maybe I should keep her like this. He mused playfully as she ran up the the river bank that lead straight to her apartment, looking down at the clear water. The dragon slayer scrolled up to her, taking a seat on the bank as she peered down in fascination.
"You like water?"
The miniature celestial mage nodded, giving a small smile as she continued to stare. "Water is where I can see Aquarius! She always shouts at me and tells me off but..." her eyes turned warm but the twist of sadness in them made the pinkette frown, "she's my only friend."
Natsu felt his heart grow heavy, he always knew about his best friends lonely childhood but hearing her say those words put a bad taste in his mouth.
"I'm hurt. I thought I was your friend." He huffed playfully, raising his eyebrow at the shocked girl.
Lucy's eyes widened, her little body standing up straight as she turned pink and throw her arms around. "I d-didn't..Ouji-sama never said!" She pouted shyly, looking down and clasping her hands together. "My...friend?"
He smiled warmly, squatting down so he could look at her red face. "Of course we're friends. Don't you want to be friends?"
The girls eyes seemed to widen more, making him wonder how big they could get, before they turned moist with tears. Natsu felt his heart drop at this, arms raising to try and figure out the issue before she jumped forward into his arms with a cry. His arms wrapped around her small figure in surprise, letting her cry as he stroked her golden hair.
"Hey...no crying. Whats the matter?" the man asked gently in a whisper.
Lucy sniffed slightly, face pressed into his chest. "I've n-never had any other friends before." She looked up at him, cheeks puffed and wet with big tears. "Can we r-really be friends?"
Natsu cupped her face, wiping the tears away with his thumbs before giving her the brightest and warmest smile he could. "I'd love to be your friend Lucy! I have a feeling we'll make a great team."
"A team?" she giggled at him, her brown eyes warm with growing happiness.
"Well what else?" He nodded seriously, making her giggle again. "And do you know what teammates always have to do?"
When the girl shook her head a large mischievous grin formed on the slayers face as he stood up and took a step back. "They play catch! 10! 9! 8! 7!-"
The girl quickly caught on, squeaking loudly as she turned around and ran down the slightly crowded path, her hair wiping around her in her excited moves as her heard him running behind her. A playful "I'm gonna get ya!" making her scream and duck down a side path and a long alley, her little heart already pounding and exhausted as his footsteps got louder behind her. The moment his hands grasped her waist and lifted her up to spin her she screamed in laughter. Natsu laughing with her as they span before placing her down as he got dizzy. Bright grins on both their faces, the smaller one panting loudly much to Natsu's amusement.
"I said I'd get ya." He gave a dramatic evil laugh, making the small Lucy burst into another set of laughter.
She tilted her head curiously up at him as she regained her breath, plopping down on the side walk. "You don't talk like an Ouji-sama."
"Well, I did grow up in a forest." Natsu blinked at the fascination that formed on her face, jumping up and fisting her tiny hand.
"Really? Whats is like?! Was it really pretty and big?! I've never been allowed in one..." She trailed off, a small pout forming on her pink lips as she waited for an answer.
The pink haired male observed her excitement, an idea forming in his head. "Why don't I show you? I live in the forest, I can take you to my house."
Lucy couldn't have been happier if her small jump and wiggle was anything to go by. "Yes please!"
"Then its decided!" With a nod, he took her hand and off they trotted to his home.

A/N: I hope this was okay, not quite 900 words but I tried hhhh. Please review and tell me your thoughts so I can improve and make things better. I will work on Dragon Slayers next but not today since I don't have much time left in this free hour. I think once this is done I wont start anything new, just do one-shots. I have some ideas and its more bearable. Its just not fair on you guys to start stories and be really slow with updates. Does random one-shots maybe two-shots sound good until I can actually invest time?
Here's one concept I have:
"Lucy was proud to say she was an ARMY, so hot pink haired guys with delicious muscles adn a really really cute smile or not, NO ONE got away with insulting her faves. EVER.
