My first published fanfic! :D Well, it's more of a drabble. Hehe~ This was just a random little idea that I had and I wanted to share it. Very simple, but I hope that some of you like it!
"Kurokocchi, I love you."
"I know."
Kuroko and Kise were in the living room. Both were sitting on the sofa as the smaller of the two was reading a book, while the other was watching television. Wanting to copy the scene the blond had just seen in a drama was the reason of blurting out that sentence. Not that he always needed a reason like that to say it, anyway.
Nevertheless, that was not the reply he was looking for, so he tried again.
"Kurokocchi... I love you."
"You said that already."
The response came without blue eyes removing themselves away from the book.
A long sigh escaped Kise's lips as he sulkily leaned back on the sofa. Like many times before, the attempt was a failure. It may be cliché, but anyone would want to hear those special words directed at them by the person they love so much.
The room was once again filled by only the sound of the voices coming from the TV. Kuroko had been expecting another effort by his stubborn lover, but no more words were said. Glancing at him, he saw a defeated Kise lightly running his thumb on the remote control and looking down almost sadly without caring to pay any more attention to the screen in front of them.
With a sigh of his own, only softer, the light bluenette finally closed his book. Reaching out with one hand, he placed it on the side of the blond's face, turning it to face him.
"I love Kise-kun very much. I always will."
He reassured his blond lover as he gave him one of his rare warm and caring smiles.
Kise blinked and stared at him surprised for a moment, until slowly a big smile formed on his lips with an obvious glint of happiness in his golden eyes.
"I love Kurokocchi so much!"
He exclaimed as he threw himself on top of his lover with wide opened arms to embrace him. The smaller male let out a soft chuckle and hugged him back.
"I know. I love you too."
The blond's smile grew.
That was all that he wanted to hear.
