AN: Alright been a while, sorry about that, but at the very least I'd like to think my writing has improved.

Neo laid on her bright pink bed and sighed, looking around at the boarded up windows and dusty corners of the abandoned warehouse they were in, the only splash of color to break up the bleak browns and grays was Roman's white overcoat that hung on a pillar, and the pink elephant Jaune had won her on their first date. Neo sighed again, louder this time.

"Neo, dear, I know you're bored but I'm going to need you to keep it to yourself for now," Roman says, sitting up from the old love seat he was stretched across at the moment. "I'm not having any fun either right now but we just gotta lay low for now"

Neo pouted as she grabbed the elephant and laid it under her head, she knew he was right. Stupid clerk, stupid alarm button, stupid police. She thought back to the terrible heist that had happened just a few days ago. It was supposed to be a simple in-and-out job, they go in, grab the dust, and walk out. but no this clerk thought he could be a hero, thought he could pull a gun on us, I hope I broke his nose with that kick The memory of her vaulting over the counter and landing her heeled boot square in his face, though remembering him hitting the alarm button with his foot as he fell did ruin that smile.

The extortionist duo had escaped without too much problem but the police had just barely seen them. Apparently, enough of them to call for a city-wide search looking for two delinquents who, in Neo's opinion, were quite ugly compared to the real deal.

The small criminal sighed again and grabbed her scroll from the corner of the bed and opened it, 'No New Messages; flashed at the top of her scroll and she kicked her feet against the bed, whining loudly. Neo was also upset because it had been several days since either she or the hunter boy had talked to each other. She had wanted to message him but didn't want him to get involved with her's and roman's activities.

"Neo dear, I'm going to ask nicely that you stop the bed slapping you're doing over there" Roman groans, still on his loveseat. "Just text the boy if you like him so much"

Neo's head shot up and she glared at Roman.

"Hey don't you go getting mad at me, you're the one who's been pouting for three days now," Roman says not even opening his eyes "The poor boy has probably been doing the exact same thing as you, "

Roman wasn't too far off. Back in the Jnpr dorms, Jaune was sitting on his bed, legs crossed, scroll next to him, and a notebook full of scribbling. He was currently chewing on the end of pen muttering to himself. "No too lame,...that would be cheesy...she can't possibly like that"

"Oh my Oum! Just decide!" Nora says rubbing her face, she was currently hanging off her bed upside down, trying to find anything that might distract her from Jaune's muttering "I promise you could say almost anything it will be fiiiiine"

Ren chuckles from his bed where he was reading

"Ugh" Jaune flopped backward rubbing his face "It's so hard...oh maybe Pyrrha could help," he says sitting up, looking around for his Missing teammate. "Hey, where is Pyrrha?"

"I believe she has gone for a run," Ren says

"Dang another one? She goes like six times" Jaune says before a grin creeps across his face "you guys don't think she has a secret boyfriend do you?"

"No," Nora and Ren says together

"There's gotta be something, why else would she spend all this time out of the room?" Jaune asks as he returns his attention to his notebook. Ren and Nora shared a quick look.

"Alright, I got," Jaune says pointing to a line on his page, he grabs his scroll and opens it, Quickly opening his messages from Neo, his thumbs hover over the electronic keyboard as he takes a deep breath. Come on Arc you got this he tells himself as he finally types out a message.

Come on Neo, this boy is head over heels for you, a simple Hey is all it takes Neo says to herself as she quickly types out a message, Just as she hits send her scroll buzzes, a message from Jaune "Hey"

Jaune stared at his scroll. Wow, that's the fastest anyone's ever replied to me Jaune thinks as he starts his next message better not be too slow

"How are you?" Neo was confused but Giggling her stress melting away, she had just sent him her second text asking the same question, ooh this is fun

"I'm doing good" Jaune read dang how is she doing this? That three times now he was grinning as he typed his next message

"that's good to hear" Neo silently giggled, happy to know she guessed right, already writing out her next message

"Doing anything fun?" Jaune was chuckling to himself, he didn't know how Neo could read his mind, but this was fun

"Oh just laying around" Neo rolled her eyes, I'm not surprised

"Wow, same" Jaune sighed, Good now I don't look like a total loser Jaune paused to think of something unexpected

Neo was already writing her next message when her scroll buzzes "Still got the elephant I got you?" Neo paused, hmm I was expecting a haha she smiles and replies.

Neo: "of course, He's the best cuddler :) :)"

Jaune: "i bet, he's got all that fuzz in him"

Neo: "Plus his fur is suuuuper soft"

Jaune: "i could tell that brand was a favorite of my sister's"

Neo: "Sisters? Jauney you didn't tell me you had sisters :D"

Jaune: "Yea 7 in fact"

Neo: "Geez, how long were you going to hide them?"

Jaune: "honestly? forever"

Neo: "That's fine, I'd rather not share you anyway ;)"

Jaune tried to type but quickly erased it, and then typing something else and erasing it and then typing again and then erasing it before he finally settled on "its fine theyre really nice"

Neo rolled her eyes and giggled "I bet, but onto more important things jauney"

Jaune: "like what?"

Neo: "our next date of course! :D where you taking me?"

Jaune froze Crud, I don't have anything "dont worry I got something awesome"

Neo: "oooo, gonna share?"

I can't because I have nothing! "I cant because its a surprise"

Neo: "ooo, well I do enjoy surprises, I can't wait for you to woo me Jauney ;) ;)"

She's going to be so disappointed "your going to love it"

Neo: ":D I can't wait when we going?"

Don't say anytime soon, give yourself a week "Tomorrow night" Dammit Jaune!

Neo stared at her scroll, before quickly typing a message to Roman. The criminal looked at his scroll as it beeped and sighed, "Go for it if you want, just stay disguised and don't bring the cops back here" He says staying down on the loveseat.

Neo grinned as she typed "Tomorrow sounds great, I can't wait"

Jaune: "great, I gotta go, ill talk to ya later"

Neo: "bye Jauney, can't wait for our date"

Neo laid back down on her bed and kicked her feet, this time she was grinning and giggling silently. "Neo, you better not be like this all night" Roman says

Jaune stared at his phone for several minutes after, a blank look on his face.

"Jaune? You alive?" Nora asks, preparing to throw a book at him when the door to their dorm opened and Pyrrha entered, still wearing her workout clothes, a light sheen of sweat on her.

Jaune shook his and smiled at his partner "Pyrrha! You're just the girl I wanted to see!"

Pyrrha gasped happily and smiled "You did? Goodness what for?"

"I need planning my next date"

Pyrrha's face tightened visibly to all but the most clueless of teammates "Of course Jaune, I'd love to help plan your next date"

The leader brought her into a quick hug "Thanks Pyrrha you're the best"

The redhead just pats his back "Think nothing of it"

Nora and Ren shared a look before sighing and shaking their heads.
