Nick's POV
"Nicholas Piberius Wilde!" The grey bunny shouted.
"Judy whatever-your-middle-name-is Hopps!" A red fox retorted taking his sunglasses away from his face. He smirked at Judy. Her red cheeks puffed out as she grunted.
"Come on Nick, why didn't you hand in those reports to Chief Bogo yesterday?" She asked, her voice still had a hint of anger. He always thought she looked cute like that. Though, he could never tell her that, if he wanted to live that is. Judy stomped her foot impatiently, waiting for Nicks answer.
"I was attacked. Savagely attacked, by procrastination." Nick said dramatically with his paw over his chest in mock horror. Judy gave him a look, a look he knew all to well. He smirked and gave her his signature grin and lazy eyed look.
"Nick! Be serious for once in your life." Judy growled, her amethyst eyes bore down on him.
"Come on Carrots. I was going to hand them in, but I needed to pick up dinner at Chipuples. You know how fickle they are when it comes to time." Nick said rolling his eyes. Judy sighed and lowered her ears, she cupped her paws over her face. Nick frowned and bent down to her height.
"Hey..." He spoke softly as he gently removed her paws. A light red tint grew on her face as his emerald gaze stared her down.
"I promise I will take care of them before I go home today. Take the cruiser home right now and relax. I'll be there in a little while, okay?" He asked softly, not taking his eyes off the bunny that meant so much to him.
"Okay. Thanks Nick. I'll see you in a little while." Judy said obviously worn out. She leaned towards Nicks face and smiled. He felt his cheeks heat up and his ears slowly lowered. He couldn't tear his emerald eyes away. Judy swiftly bent her muzzle in and pecked the side of Nicks muzzle. Her cheeks reddened as she hopped up and bounded out the door. Her ears bouncing as she went. Nick stood rigid for a moment before smirking and heading to his desk to get the papers.
