The City Of London Seven Days After General Terrence Goldberg Contacted Minister Cornelius Fudge.

The British Armies London HQ.

The HQ's Main briefing room.

The main briefing room for the London HQ was rather spartan in design. Plain milky white walls devoid of pictures, paintings or any creative drawings. A mahogany roundtable capable of seating multiple people comfortably sat within the centre of the room. While a projector hanged innocently above the mahogany table, ready to be used to show the high ranking officers of the different British military branches images of battlefields, tactical reports or valuable statistics involving enemy movement. There was even a coffee machine tucked into a corner so that the higher-ups could enjoy a drink of coffee to help keep themselves energised when they had to pull long nights during relevant military briefings.

So, in summary, the briefing room was highly useful for meetings between the top members of the British army and political members of the island nation. Though truthfully the British Generals, Admirals and Air forces chief of staff usually preferred to keep the politicians as uninvolved with these meetings as they could possibly get away with. Since the mentioned group of people tended to cause nothing except headaches for the different army branches who just wanted to do their jobs without the politicians making a mess of things.

Sadly for today's meeting, the attending high ranking officers had little choice but to accept the presence of a politician. To make matters even worse, it was the one person whom every highest-ranking member in the different branches of the military collectively hated for one reason or another.

Cornelius Fudge.

"Gentlemen," professionally began General Goldberg as he gazed upon the group of five high ranking officers of the British military plus one unwanted Minister of magic currently seated around the table. "Let me begin by saying how grateful I am for your swift arrival to this important meeting." Goldberg matched to the wall holding the projector's remote and doing his best to ignore the unwanted pest named Cornelius Fudge who was sifting rather uncomfortably within his chair.

"There's no need to thank us, General Goldberg." Respectfully replied, Fleet Admiral Tohru Yamamoto. A slightly short, raven-haired and black-eyed man of Japanese ancestry whose grandparents had moved to Britain in search for a better life. The Admiral has served for over fifty years with many successful missions against modern-day pirates and was present at today's meeting to represent the navy. "Especially if the foe we're all here to discuss about is as dangerous as you've come to believe them to be."

"Yes, this mysterious new enemy you've told us so little about in the messages you sent to all five of us." rudely spoke up General Winters. A grey-haired, blue-eyed women that was the same age as Goldberg. "Honestly Goldberg I sincerely hope that you've not wasted our time by wanting to discuss how we're going to be dealing with some unintelligent magical beasts." The disrespectful old hag turned to glare at Fudge who flinched at the hateful stare of the female General. "Especially when its the wizards' job to handle their own world's problems."

"If they could have handled this by themselves then I would've gladly let them do so General Winters." Calmly responded Goldberg who was restraining himself from snarling insults and vile remarks at the bitch sitting before him. Indeed the veteran General despised Winters, the woman was constantly disrespectful to everyone, even those of equal rank, was incompetent in her job and the biggest reason why he hated her. Was because unlike himself and the others within the room barring Fudge, Winters didn't earn her position as General. In fact Goldberg secretly knew that Winters had blackmailed, betrayed and on several occasions even murdered multiple officers who she served under in the past. The only reason she wasn't court-martialed yet was because of the mountain of blackmail she had on key meddle to high ranked officers up the chain of command, and so long as that remained the case, then Winters would continue to be untouchable.

"But they can't." Expertly interrupted the representative of the Air Force. Air Marshal Zack Norway, a forty-six-year-old male of African ancestry, whose most noticeable traits were his ocean blue eyes, bald head and three nasty scars, were running down the side of his face. Which Zack had gotten from a bunch of shrapnel from surviving a plane accident. "Which is why we are here to discuss the problem and figure out how to best deal with the situation." The air marshal's eyes swiftly danced between the two Generals already knowing of how they didn't like each other and honestly Zack was on General Goldberg's side when it came to Winters. Still, for the sake of the British people, the two Generals would have to work together at least for now.

"Marshal Norway is indeed correct." Goldberg smiled at the Air Force representative before turning on the projector allowing for the image from the report he had received from Captain Shepherd to appear on the wall behind him. "Now approximately two days ago one of our storage facilities was attack and swiftly looted by the creatures you are seeing on the projection." The General pulled out a laser pointer and preceded to point out the most precise image of an Ork that was within the projection. "These creatures are indeed magical in nature and have been reported to be highly aggressive towards humans or anything else that might be able to fight back against them."

"How do we know that they're magical in nature? General Goldberg." Asked General Samuel Franklin in a false polite tone. An overweight man in his late sixties, wearing an over the top parade uniform complete with plenty of medals, many of which the fat man didn't deserve in the slightest. Worse still the white-haired, brown-eyed, overweight General was the uncle of Colonel Michael Franklin. He, who had abandoned Storage Facility Alpha one to the Orks. Not that Goldberg planned to tell him that. Since the General hosting this meeting wanted the man ignorant of his nephew's cowardliness until the time came when Terrence could capture Colonel Franklin and placed the traitor on trial for leaving the 22nd fast response infantry regiment to die by the Orks hands. And for allowing military assets to fall into said horde of green brutes grasp.

"You have me to thank for that knowledge." Fudge said, finally speaking for the first time since the meeting began. "When General Goldberg first contacted me about these new magical creatures, I immediately sent a team of Aurors' to the site. Once they returned to the ministry of magic, the head Auror in charge of the investigation confirmed traces of vast quantities of magical energy surrounding the now deserted facility." The Minister of magic was practically radiating with pride at his investigative team's discovery much to the cringing of the present military officers.

"So what if the beasts are magical." Snarled the last member of the gathering. A woman wearing majors uniform and cap, she was Major Greenwood, age thirty-seven with fiery red hair, charcoal eyes and a temper to match her flame-like hair. Major Greenwood was at the gathering to represent the national guard since her superior wasn't able to make it. "I say we should just blast them to kingdom come and be done with it." The hot-tempered women did a slicing motion with her thumb, emphasising how much she would love to destroy the horde of green monsters.

General Goldberg really wanted to agree with the hot-headed Major. Unfortunately, there were specific problems which prevented that easy solution to their current problem from being used. One of those problems was even sitting within the very same room as them, and it took the form of the Minister of magic.

"Sadly Major Greenwood there's a slight problem preventing us from just blasting the creatures into oblivion via using our air forces firepower." Goldberg inwardly steeled himself, knowing that his fellow officers weren't going to like what he was about to show them.

"The problem ladies and gentlemen being this." With a click of the projector's remote, the image on the wall changed reviling Lana Potter wearing her scrap armour and leading the Orks against the men and women defending Storage Facility Alpha One. The veteran General had to force himself not to shiver as he gazed upon the little devil that had destroyed the base and killed over four hundred people with her band of green monsters.

The room fell silent as the military officers stared in stupefied shock and horror at the image showing a child leading monsters into battle. However, from the corner of his eye, Goldberg saw that Fudge seemed more nervous then disturbed by the image of his world's supposed saviour. It was a curious reaction and something the old General would have to investigate at a later date when he finally had some free time.

"What the fuck are we looking at General Goldberg?" Major Greenwood demanded of her superior in the chain of command after finally snapping out of her stupor. The question must have helped caught the others out of their own trance too since they were now staring at Goldberg patiently waiting for some much-needed answers.

"This," General Terrence Goldberg said while pointing to the image displaying Warboss Lana in all of her savage glory. "Is Lana Potter heiress to the noble and ancient house of Potter." The faces of the officers gathered in the briefing room darkened as the reason why they couldn't just blast the Orks from a distance reviled itself. "Also known as the saviour of the wizarding world and the main factor as too why aerial bombardment isn't possible at this time." The officers present turned and glared at Fudge who was trying to act uncaring about being glared at by the Generals, Admiral, Air Marshal and Major within the room and as expected was failing miserably at the task.

"So the wizards are stopping us from putting the kid and her green friends down, huh." General Winters sneered at the Minister of magic. "Why should we even care about one brat anyway." Sure killing a child left a bad taste even in her mouth yet when it finally came down to it, Lana had willingly chosen to raid, murder and loot Storage Facility Alpha One. To Winters, that meant that Potter was an enemy of Great Britain and thus should be treated like any other enemy of her country and should be killed off before she could become a much more significant threat in the future.

"General Winters." Goldberg spat out with barely hidden venom. "If anything bad should happen to Potter then the wizards and witches who believe that she's their saviour shall rise up in open revolt." The aged General's words caused the officers to flinch in displeasure since a revolution from the magic users was the last thing anyone present wanted to happen. As such, an event would inevitably cause unimaginable damage to their country, especially if another dark lord like Voldemort should suddenly appear in the chaos.

"As minister of magic, I can confidently say that what General Goldberg says will come to pass if Miss Potter is allowed to die." Fudge added, backing up General Goldberg in the matter. Though everyone within the room thought that the wizard was just trying to save his own ass since if word got out that he allowed Potter to die, then it would be his head the enrage wizards and witches would come after first.

Admiral Tohru sighed while pinching his nose in frustration at the situation. "So killing these things leader is out of the question then?" The Fleet Admiral asked, receiving an affirmative nod in return from General Goldberg. "Okay, then." Said Tohru glad that he nor his naval men and women would have to murder a child. "In that case, do we at least know where she and her horde are currently?" They needed to keep track of the Ork horde because if they didn't know where the enemy was located nor their numbers or equipment then making a plan of attack was going to be rather tricky.

"Yes, thanks to some Auror teams specialising in concealment magic, we've managed to keep track of the horde." General Goldberg told the seated officers. "Unfortunately the Auror teams can't get too close to the moving horde, at least not without the risk of being discovered by the special creatures in the horde that the Auror teams have identified as magic users." Goldberg saw Fudge's face turn ugly at the mention of the magic-using creatures of Potter's horde, it was a reminder to the General that wizards had a superiority complex and have caused untold harm to innocents in the past to satisfy that supposed superiority.

General Franklin smiled upon hearing the news. "That's great, so where are they heading General Goldberg?" The inquiry made Goldberg curse in his mind since the direction that the horde was going in meant that possibly tens of thousands of civilians could potentially get killed by the Orks.

Especially the ignorant ones, living near the city. As those inhabited locations would defiantly get raided by the Ork on their way towards their destination.

"They're going to Liverpool."

A heavy silence filled the room as everyone processed what they were just told.

"Well, fuck me sideways." Said Major Greenwood after a few minutes of silence had passed. "If that's true then we need to order an evacuation of the city's population before Potter gets there." It would be an absolute hellish task trying to evacuate the whole city before the horde showed up yet if they hurried now then they might be able to get everyone out in time before the horde invades Liverpool.

"I'm afraid Major that an evacuation shall not be happening." Bluntly denied Goldberg while he sat down on the only unoccupied chair in the room.

Air Marshal Zack Norway nervously gazed between the calm Goldberg and the enraged Greenwood. "Um, may I ask why we're not evacuating the population of Liverpool, General Goldberg?" For his own sake, General Goldberg had better have a good reason for this decision because from the looks of things Major Greenwood seemed minutes away from ripping the veteran General's throat out with her teeth.

If Goldberg felt threatened by Major Greenwood or the silently glaring Admiral Tohru, then he didn't show any signs of it. "The reason Marshal Norway is rather simple." The aged General frowned in irritation while pulling out an old antic pipe from his uniforms front pocket so that he could smoke. "We can't evacuate because who would ever believe us." Terrence Goldberg lit his pipe and started smoking, giving the officers a chance to allow his words to sink into their minds.

"Fuck, your actually right," Zack said while the realisation of the situation hit him like an unstoppable train. "The general populace won't believe us if we tell them that a horde of magical monsters lead by an eleven-year-old girl are coming to kill them all." The civilians would think them all insane, and if they forced Fudge to show them magic, the people would just brush it off as special effects or something.

"So what the hell are we suppose to do?" Winters demand General Goldberg as he peacefully smoked his pipe, she would usually never ask the man for a plan yet as things stood Goldberg was the only one here that might have a way to stop this madness before it got out of their control.

"The plan I've come up with is rather simple," Goldberg released a puff of smoke from his lips. "With the help of the British national guard and our own soldiers, we shall fortify the area of Liverpool where Potter will invade." The General click the remote causing a map highlighting Liverpool to appear on the wall behind him. "Once that's accomplished we'll wait until the horde arrives. When it does our friends in the local news stations shall use a preplanned excuse of my own design to evacuate the invasion area, allowing our soldiers to engage the enemy without having to worry too much about the civilians."

"This is a risky plan Goldberg," Franklin said while nervously sweating like a pig. "If anything goes wrong, then an untold number of people shall die." Plus if something did go wrong, then they shall all pay dearly for it. Be it politically, socially, or spiritually the men and women within the room would pay in some form if the Orks managed to destroy Liverpool and kill everyone living within the city.

"Which is why the wizards shall be reinforcing us during this operation." Every muggle within the room grimace since that meant that they would have to put up with the arrogant wizards until the whole situation was over. "Of course, they expect us to help capture Miss Potter," Goldberg added while taking another puff of his pipe.

"Very well." Said Winters knowing that without the deal to capturing Potter alive then the wizards won't help them, something which they couldn't afford at the moment. "So shall we call this meeting over with Gentlemen?" The female General asked the other officers in the room.

"Yes, I think so." Answered Admiral Tohru. "Though before we leave, I would like to ask two questions to General Goldberg." The room fell silent as the Minister and officers wondered what questions the naval man wanted to ask of the General hosting the gathering.

"Ask away, Admiral." Replied Goldberg, who already had an idea of what the Fleet Admiral was going to ask.

"Do we know why Potter and her army is attacking our people?" The question caused some whispering between Zack and Greenwood. They both actually wanted to know why Potter was rampaging across their country. "Secondly has a named already been given to these green humanoids?" silence filled the briefing room as the officers waiting for Goldberg's answers to the two questions.

The veteran General puffed his pipe for a second before answering. "For the first question, I'm afraid the reason for the attacks currently remains a mystery." Goldberg was lying through his teeth. Because the report from Shepherd had mentioned that the now officially promoted Captain had heard Potter screaming something about stick humans that had invaded her territory wherever that was. The only people he knew about who used sticks or rather wands were wizards and right now he couldn't allow infighting to happen if the officers before him learned that some wizard that not even Fudge knew about had caused this whole problem.

"As for a name, the tech-heads and science geeks have codenamed these creature as…."

"…Orks."
