Summary:

In which Tsuna is an amalgamation of Flame and flame and canon is ditched early on.

And the only thing Reborn can do when he gets a letter from Vongola is laugh.

Warnings (?): Not in chronological order as I'm pretty much writing and posting whenever. Drabble Style (so, short chapters). Reborn x Tsuna later... is what I would say but I might write a chapter ten years after they got together, or I'll write one ten years before they get together. Liberties taken with canon-verse lore.

A/N: This fic is a monster formed from two things: an urge to write R27, and pyro!Tsuna. Enjoy. (On another note, I have got to stop stress writing. )

Disclaimer: KHR belongs to Amano Akira.

Dear Reborn,

If you are receiving this, then I have died ahead of time.

I endeavour to request a favour, for I cannot order you as you aren't an official part of my beloved famiglia, but I have known you since childhood and can only hope that will be enough.

My son is still too young to take up the mantle, and many already disapprove of his sickly nature. Unfortunately, only those with the blood of Vongola may wear the Sky ring. What you may not know is, Uncle Iemitsu, yes the 'blond idiot' as you like to call him, is actually a direct descendant of Vongola Primo.

Now, back to my request. A few years ago, I discovered a secret stash of files my father had sealed. They contained highly sensitive information including Xanxus' parentage, Iemitsu's ancestry, and information on Iemitsu's lost son. That's right, a hidden Vongola prince.

I am reluctant to bring a civilian into this life, but Vongola needs a change, and there is no one else but my child who I refuse to let be manipulated until he is strong enough to fend for himself.

Therefore, I would be forever grateful if you could find this child -or young adult, I suppose, depending on when you receive this- and teach him as you taught Dino.

Enclosed is what little information is provided, concerning the location of Iemitsu's ex-wife and possible location of this Tsunayoshi.

Best regards,

Enrico di Vongola,
Vongola Decimo

Reborn read through the letter again, just to make sure he wasn't going senile or something.

Nope, content was exactly as his almost eidetic memory could read through the letter again, just to make sure he wasn't going senile or something.

Then he threw back his head. And laughed.

Tsuna poked his head through the door, watched Reborn bust a gut, then shook his head and went back to what he was doing with a muttered, "it was only a matter of time, anyway."

He yelped when the laughing stopped abruptly and a bullet lodged itself into the wall an inch away from his nose.

"I heard that, Tsuna."
