A/N: Not gonna lie, didn't know what I wanted to write for this chapter. I don't want huge skips in time or anything but I also don't want worthless stuff that doesn't really matter to the story, if that makes any sense. So, I'm sorry if this chapter isn't the most interesting in the world. Trying to move the story along without skipping time or filling it with deadwood.

Thx!

~Diana's POV~

Somewhere in the distance, an obnoxious beeping suddenly rings out, slowly pulling me out of my sleep. I groan and roll over, burrowing into Bruce's chest and praying to the gods that the sound stops. The more awake I become, the louder the sound gets and the more annoyed I become.

I feel a kiss pressed to my forehead before Bruce rolls away from me and the beeping stops. I sigh and wait for him to come back to me but I hear the bed creak slightly and the bathroom door open and close. I peek an eye open, looking for my husband but when I see the bathroom light on and remember we're back in Gotham, I groan because I know that Bruce has to go back to work. I continue to lounge in bed when Bruce comes back out of the bathroom, freshly shaved and smelling fresh.

"Do you have to go back to work?" I ask him as he walks into the closet.

"Someone's got to make money around here," his voice echoes from within the clothing-lined walls of the closet.

"You're a billionaire, Bruce. How much more money do you need?" I tease but know that taking away Wayne Enterprises would almost be like taking the Batman away from him. Working is a big part of his life. He's built that company into something incredibly successful. I couldn't ask him to just stop working so we could snuggle in bed all day.

He comes out with his suit pants on and his dress shirt halfway buttoned, rolling his eyes at me affectionately.

"Well how about you, Mrs. Wayne? Do you plan on lying in bed all day?"

"As tempting as that sounds, I am not. I'm going up to the Watchtower, see every one and check in. See if there's anything they need help with."

He finishes buttoning his shirt and moves to tuck it in as he looks at me. "Don't go taking any missions to far away from here. I still have a couple nights off before returning to my patrols," he says. We agreed before coming back that he would take a few extra days back in Gotham to get back into the swing of things before Batman returned to prowling in the night.

"Mmm, don't remind me. I have to be able to do things today, you know." I smile sensually at him, rolling in the sheets. His gaze zeroes in on me as I begin to stretch, pushing up on my knees and arching back, like an animal stretches, my hands fisting in the sheets as my back pops into place and teases Bruce simultaneously.

A groan resonates from deep in his throat before he tears his gaze away and stalks back into the closet presumably for his shoes and a tie. I chuckle before rolling out of bed and heading into the bathroom to freshen up myself. When I exit the bathroom, the bedroom door is open, leading me to believe Bruce is downstairs somewhere. I don't bother changing, choosing to go downstairs in Bruce's tee and a pair of underwear. Normally I'd try and cover up somewhat but for some reason I can't bring myself to care as I tread down the staircase.

"I shall retrieve the mail, Master Bruce," I hear Alfred say before the back door opens and closes.

Bruce makes a grunt in reply, clearly distracted by something else. I walk into the kitchen and see him leaning against the counter with a cup of coffee in one hand and his phone in the other. His eyes flit up for a second when I walk in but do a double take when he sees my lack of pants.

"Princess!" he rushes at me, his coffee and phone landing on the counter harshly, coffee sloshing across the marble. I shriek as he bear hugs me, like I'm completely naked in front of a crowd of gossip-hungry photographers.

"Bruce! What are you doing?" I laugh as he pulls away and picks me up, jogging for the stairs back up to our room.

"These legs are for me to see and me only." He states, tossing me on the bed, me giggling the whole way.

"You are aware my uniform shows almost just as much, right?"

"I'm well aware, Princess. Don't remind me." He groans as he crawls over me, nuzzling my neck and pushing the neck of the shirt off of my shoulder to press kisses. As he settles more firmly against me, I can feel him pressing up against me, my hips automatically moving against him and another groan escapes his parted lips. "Princess, I'll be late if you keep this up."

"But I want you. As my husband, it is your duty to fulfill my every want." I tease him, nipping at his ear.

"Oh, it that it?"

"Mhmm,"

His hips push into mine roughly and we move and grind against each other for a few minutes before Bruce undoes his belt and pushes down his pants just enough to release himself and then he pushes my underwear aside and slides in, a moan of relief leaving my throat as my head tilts back and offers my neck to him.

Bruce sets a quick pace and latches onto my neck; one of his hands moving to fondle one of my breasts through my shirt and my answering gasp causes his hips to move faster. His sharp and fast thrusts push up against that sensitive little bit at my opening and I grind my hips into him for more stimulation.

He lets go of my neck and presses his forehead there instead as he pants against my collarbone. I tuck my head into his neck and return the favor of sucking a hickey onto his skin, just above the collar of his shirt. His pace falters and moves to circle into me then just steadily pump. Whether Bruce meant to or not, he applies more pressure to the little nub and I'm thrown head first off the cliff, exploding around him and it doesn't take him long to follow right after me, groaning desperately into my neck as I chant his name into the open space of the bedroom. I run my fingers lazily through his hair as I come back down from my high.

He takes a deep breath before leaning away from me and pulling out; tucking himself back in and putting himself back together. In a matter of minutes, Bruce is looking pristine once more and one would never guess what he'd just been doing with me. "Will that tide you over while I'm gone, Princess? Did I fulfill your every want for the moment?"

"Well…." He leans over and gives one last kiss to cut me off.

"I have to go now or I will be late and we don't need that on my first day back."

"Oh, if you insist." I give in and watch him walk out the door from my spot on the bed. I let out a deep breath and climb from the bed, getting ready for my day.

~Bruce's POV~

I take a moment to try and collect myself before stepping from my car at Wayne Industries. This morning's quickie with Diana was not part of my plan. I wanted to leave her begging for me tonight but when she stepped into the kitchen in one of my t-shirt and her underwear, not seeming to care if Alfred saw her that way, I couldn't stop myself. She might have been trying to tease me or she might have just not felt like putting pants on, who knows. All I know is she got me to break and have my wicked way with her.

I step from the car after another moment and walk into the building, greeting people as I walk past on my way up to my office.

"Bruce!" I hear behind me and slow my pace as Lucius catches up to me, walking with me the rest of my way to my office without another word. He makes himself at home in one of the chairs across from my desk as I move around, getting things set back up, turned on and running.

"How was it?" he finally asks as I sit down to start some paperwork that was waiting for me.

"What, the honeymoon?" I glance up to him before looking back to the papers in front of me.

"That and not being him for a couple weeks."

I put my pen down for a moment and lean back in my chair. "It was actually really nice. I mean, of course it was wonderful being with Diana, the way her face lit up at both Simi and Paris will me moments I never forget. And though I missed being out on patrol and protecting Gotham, it was also nice to just sit and catch my breath for a little while, get more then a couple hours of sleep, not have to worry about the crime alerts, just be able to be with Diana without worrying about either of us having to go out and save the world. It was refreshing, Lucius.

"And I don't return to patrol for another couple nights. Diana was worried that we'd never see each other the moment we got back so I made sure to have a couple extra nights off to get settled back in before returning to the normal."

He grins at me and looks at my hand. I hadn't even realized it, but my thumb had subconsciously begun twirling my wedding ring around my finger. I immediately stop and Lucius simply chuckles. "It takes some getting used to, having something on your finger, but eventually it'll become second nature that it's there."

"I've already grown used to it," I claim. "I hadn't even realized I'd started messing with it."

"I'm glad to see you're doing well. Diana hesitant to let you leave this morning?" I smirk as the memory comes back to me.

"Yeah, something like that. It was really difficult to climb out of bed this morning. She did not like the alarm clock going off." I chuckle and Lucius joins.

"It wasn't just the alarm clock, was it?" I squint my eyes at him and consider him. "You got a hickey on your neck, Bruce." My hand automatically moves to where Diana marked me this morning. "And that's a fresh one too, Mr. Wayne," he teases and I just grin, lowering my hand back down and shrugging.

"Anyone questioned why I was out?" I ask Lucius, seeing as how he was the only one who knew of my real reason for being gone for a few weeks.

"Business was all that they were told but I don't think it'll take long for them to realize. You do have a ring on your finger now. Many people in your staff will notice, especially the female employees." I roll my eyes at the last part.

"Maybe it'll finally get them off my back?" I joke as I lean forward to continue my paperwork.

"Somehow I doubt that." Lucius jokes back before standing and letting himself out of my office.

I work diligently for almost the remainder of the day before realizing I have a two meetings scheduled tomorrow at the same time. I try to call my assistant but I receive no answers so I walk out to her desk.

Amanda isn't there so I decide to wait for a few minutes, waiting to see if she'd gone to get a coffee refill or papers off the printer. Those are my hope as Amanda's new as of last week after Ellen retired to be with her family. I have scheduled a lunch date with her and her husband to give her my goodbye gift seeing as how she left during my honeymoon and has served me well these past few years.

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and pull it out, seeing Diana texted me a picture of her lying on the bed in a short pair of shorts and another one of my t-shirts. I bite back a groan as another text comes in from her, full of winking emojis and hearts. I close out of the image and begin to respond when I hear people coming down the hall. I look up and see a short, curvy bleach blonde, Amanda, and some of my other female employees walking along and giggling to them.

"Miss Dawson," I say rather bitingly. Her lunch hour was over an hour ago, which she should know. Her friends all hush each other as Amanda walks up to me, swaying her hips like she's trying to flirt. I simply arch an eyebrow, as she gets closer to me then necessary.

"Yes, Bruce?"

"That is Mr. Wayne to you." I tell her and her flirtatious smile falters before being restored.

"Is that what you prefer? I can handle that. She goes to put a hand to my chest but I quickly reach out and grab it.

"What do you think you're doing? I will not tolerate this in my company. You are not making a first impression, Miss Dawson. We do not allow flirtatious behavior among the staff, especially towards me. I am a happy man in a faithful relationship and will not tolerate one more step out of line." Her eyes widen and she glances at the hand holding her wrist, my left hand with my wedding ring on full display. I smirk as her grin falls off her face all together.

"I-I," she stutters before pulling her hand back. "I just, you know, thought you'd prefer someone better then some slutty superhero." She tosses her bleach blonde hair over her shoulder and leans against her desk, still trying to come off flirtatious.

"You're fired. You have exactly," I glance at my watch. "One hour to pack up your things and go. I told you I will not tolerate this behavior in my company I definitely will not tolerate someone badmouthing Diana. If you are not gone by the time your hour is up, I will have security personally escort you out of the building. Am I clear, Miss Dawson?"

Her mouth has fallen open and she gapes for words to reply with but comes up with nothing and finally nods her head and pouts around her desk to begin collecting her things. I glance to the others she was standing with and they all nod to me before scurrying along to their respective areas.

I head back into my office, calling Regina off the board to discuss finding me a new assistant. After explaining the situation, Regina tells me she'll hop to finding some candidates right away and apologizes after I stress no more self-obsessed women. "Find me someone fresh out of college looking for an opportunity, Regina. Someone genuine,"

"Of course, Mr. Wayne." She hangs up the phone and I pinch the bridge of my nose before calling to reschedule my appointments myself. An hour later, I walk out to see Amanda's desk cleaned out and deserted along with a nasty note directed towards me. I simply snap a picture to send to Regina and crumple up the paper, tossing it in my trashcan once I'm back at my desk.

A few minutes later, Lucius comes strolling back into my office. "So, you're married, huh?" I furrow my eyebrows before realizing that my marriage is now the gossip of the building, most likely started by Amanda and her friends. I roll my eyes before standing from my desk.

"I'm probably going to go ahead and get going." Lucius nods at me and holds the door open, following me out and to the car park. People stop and stare at me as I pass, most flitting to my hand to try and see my ring for themselves.

"This is going to get annoying, I know it." Lucius just chuckles before bidding me a goodnight and heading towards his car. I duck into my own make the drive home with the radio quietly playing and my thoughts completely on my wife. I pull into the garage and park, getting out just in time for Diana to come bursting from the house and jumping into my arms, nearly tackling me to the ground. I chuckle at her before she pushes her lips to mine. I indulge in her for a moment before pulling back.

"Hey, what's gotten into you?"

"Not you since this morning," she jokes and I nearly drop her as I laugh, not expecting her to have said that. "No, I just missed you," she absolves. "I got used to being with you all day so it was weird being away from you for awhile." I drop her back to the ground, only just realizing she changed into jeans and a quarter length sleeved black shirt.

"Where'd those shorts go?"

"I took them off for my shower," she says, stepping around me and shaking her ass at me as I step behind her to follow her into the manor. "I was wearing that to work out."

"Mm, I'll need a good workout tonight too. Haven't done one down in the training facility since we left. Could probably use it."

"Or we could do a different type of workout," she suggests, stopping suddenly and letting me run into her as she pushes back into my groin with a suggestive roll of her hips.

"Princess," I warn as she brings her hands up behind my head and continues to roll her body into me. My hands have a mind of their own as they come to her body, running from her hips to the tops of her thighs, back up to her rib cage before briefly cupping her breasts.

She rubs herself faster against me and I see her bite her lip. "My, someone's horny, aren't we?" her back arches but I grab her hips and push her away from me, fighting against my own desires. She whines pitifully and chases after me as I walk past her into the kitchen, trying to will my hard on to go away.

"Ah, good evening, Master Bruce," Alfred greets as I grab a water bottle from the fridge.

"Evening, Alfred." I greet back, watching Diana like a hawk as she prowls into the kitchen, her hips swaying as she walks around the island, her fingertips trailing the countertop. She isn't making it easy on me and isn't being very subtle what she's wanting either.

"I'm going to go squeeze a workout in before dinner, Alfred. Let me know when you're almost done so I can get a shower in."

"Of course, sir," I nod to him before eyeing Diana as I leave the room. She's on my heels in a matter of seconds, looking to me eagerly.

"Not that kind of workout, Princess." Her shoulders drop as she squints her eyes at me, trying to seem angry as I go up the steps, taking two at a time before reaching the top and heading towards the master bedroom, pulling my tie and suit jacket off before reaching the room.

"But why," she whines as she flops across the bed. I chuckle at her childish antics.

"We've already gone over why, Princess," I tell her but can't help myself as I teasingly take off my shirt and begin to undo my belt buckle. She shoots up into a seating position before getting on her knees and crawling across the bed, reaching out towards me as I back up just out of her reach and turn to the dresser, pulling out workout clothes.

"You're mean," she pouts as I pull the t-shirt on and step out of my shoes, socks, and slacks only to pull on the shorts, a new pair of socks, and my sneakers.

I lean over her and kiss her before leaving down to the Batcave for a much needed cool down. This is going to be a hard workout if I want to actually accomplish anything.

A/N: So, I'm actually quite happy with this chapter. I got a bit in and it personally didn't seem to drag as much. It really flowed. I just typed whatever came to mind. Hope you guys enjoyed it!
